There is no direct telephone line, if you ask anything then they respond with just one liner answers which is generally not helpful. They are not managing the unit anymore that I am staying in and keep sending me reminders of overdue rent payments when they have already informed me to pay to the new rental company. Have sent them emails multiple times to stop sending reminders as they no longer manage the unit but they have failed to remove me from the mailing list. And worse they[ give a call to intimidate and say that I am trying to aggravate the situation by leaving a one star review, I would give 0 stars if that was an option. And it gets even worse they call me from number 0410437000 (Simon Peisley) and try to intimidate myself and then when I hangup they start calling my wife and say to her that they will destroy my career if this review is not taken offline and once my wife asked who is this on the call the person starts saying you don't need to know who this is, Maryanne (agent at Certainity) already did her job at her end but you must take the the review offline. God awful company to deal with, no wonder why the owner of the unit decided to move away from them. Avoid this company at all costs, they intimidate you if you rightfully point out to them their errors. Their response for this review is also completely incorrect. I continue to stay in the unit, paying rent on time and they do not manage the unit anymore but love to intimidate people. This is not on with me and no tenant should have to go through this kind of behavior.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! If you could give less than 1 star, that's what the rating would be... Promised a quick, professional service that would find a tenant for our beautiful beachfront property with a canal in the backyard. Property managers were extremely difficult to contact or get information from. Five weeks later, still no hint of a tenant. Terminated our management agreement as a result and went with a more well known agent. Leased to an excellent tenant 4 days later... Certainty property then had the hide to invoice ridiculous fees after such an unprofessional and unethical service.

I have had nothing but problems since renting off these guys, unfortunately due to the rental crisis I have shut my mouth not wanting to cause drama. From day one of receiving the keys they were pushy being a new build I had no idea I had to do their job for them, I had to order my own bins, I had to miss out on a days work so an electrician could over see all works completed were of standard, I had to pay over $500 for the Wi-Fi to be connected(on false pretense I’d be reimbursed) sent through invoice nothing still 2 years later. There was a leak in the main bedroom which caused mould, this took them 6 months to get someone out to fix it and unfortunately due to their incompetence and trying to claw back money for the owner I have been well and truly screwed over, and too scared to ask for maintence request because I know I have to pay out of pocket and won’t be reimbursed. They lack communication, take money out of your bank without sending notification, I’m done with them I’d rather live in my car with my kids than deal with their BS

Dont waste your time with this real estate in brisbane we booked in to inspect a rental property in algester on saturday 12.30 pm and then the changed to 11.45 there was r people turned up to have a look at the rental No agent was around its very unprofessional act if real estate can do this not turn up how can you trust them woth your rental properties and selli g your house with this real estate cant even keep a appioment . I wouldnt use this real estate at all could not bother turn up we drove 40 to algester to view. Should send them invoice for fuel and time .as i done that before . Absolutely terrible service and absolute disgrace of a company. We received an approval letter for a property and asked to inspect the property before making the deposit. When we got to the inspection no one was there and took us all day to get through to someone because they never answer the phone. They said someone rocked up but left a minute later and never bothered to call to check in of us. After a week of chasing up inspecting the property and speaking to about 6 different people in the office having to explain the same situation over and over again, we ended up withdrawing our application because we were treated like jokes. When the National partnerships manager called my partner to follow up she laughed at him and wouldn’t take accountability for how poorly they had handled the situation. Waste of time

I’ve dealt with this agency twice, and both experiences have been nothing short of terrible. The first time, I thought I was just unlucky. The agent was incredibly rude, pulled me aide and told me to stop talking to his assistant and I found it weird but didn’t want to have any confrontations and I said okey. No joke, that’s exactly what he said. He was careless with his job and acted like I owed him something. The second encounter was even worse. They didn’t let us fill out the rental agreement ourselves and pre-filled it for us. This resulted in several errors, including an incorrect address and wrong rent payment details. When we asked them to correct these mistakes, the agent actually asked us to sign the incorrect contract twice, promising to fix the errors afterward. Of course, we refused. It took us 34 back and forth emails to get these errors corrected 34 emails. It should take only 1 email to fix simple mistake and they didn’t even needed to type anything but just copy and paste the address we mentioned in emails. They managed to enter the wrong unit number, and at one point, they even listed two different suburbs. It’s mind blowing how some people can be so lazy and dodgy. The mistakes were absurd and made no sense. The most recent issue has been with our NBN connection. They advised us to pay for the NBN connection ourselves and said they would forward the receipt to the owner for reimbursement. It’s been over a week since we paid and sent email with our receipts to them, and despite multiple follow-ups, we’ve received no confirmation that the receipt has been sent to the owner. We haven’t been reimbursed, and since we sent email with receipt the agent is ignoring our emails completely— no response, no updates, nothing. We’re being completely ghosted. This agency is beyond unprofessional, and I would strongly advise others to avoid them at all costs.

Horrible company. Do not hire! UPDATE: 21/07/2024 I provided an opportunity to resolve the financial discrepancies amicably, but the response from Simon Peisley, the Co-Founder, have been dismissive, threatening, and condescending. In particular, I have received what I can only describe as disturbing and intimidatory correspondence directly from Simon Peisley, alleging that the recent death of his co-founder Cameron Black is "in part due to [my] review", and threatening me with legal action to have the review removed. Excerpts from his emails to me: "I don’t think you intended to cause the death of Cameron, however that is what happened." "I will allow you 24 hours to respond and the family have asked that we begin proceedings against you." In addition, Simon has sent a screenshot of a message that he has indicated he is preparing to send to the HR department at my work place, with a note which includes: "My colleague received a bullying message...that has lead to the death of a colleague". The recent interactions with Simon has caused me much emotional anxiety and physical stress, particularly with the disturbing allegations that I have been the cause of the death of his colleague. I am committed to speaking the truth of my experiences in interacting with CP, so that others can reflect and make their own decisions in whether to work with this company. ---- Original review ---- If I could describe these guys in a word: it would be disastrous. They were alright in the beginning, said all the right things, but in the end, they were the worst property managers I have the displeasure of ever dealing with. - Bills were paid late, causing late interest payments. - Inspections weren’t done properly - Their staff have no idea what is going on because the turnover is so high. Thats got to say something about the company. - My property managers changed 6/7/8 times, I lost count, and no communication was made, causing confusion and problems. - I had to make an appointment to call someone and had to wait for THREE WEEKS. I had to go as far as pretending to be a new customer to speak to someone. They have time to get new customers but no time to look after the customers they already have. - Expensive. It cost me over 10% of my rent. Do your research, plenty of other places that would charge less 5-6% for more service. - Emails were not responded. Initially they were ok, but as time goes by, all I ever got was an automated response of “your email will be responded blah blah” - Good luck trying to leave them. It took me 14 emails/ phone calls to get them to do a key handover. They stopped responding once I send a notice of termination and makes the handover process very hard for my new property manager. The MD Cameron Black also stopped responding when I asked for help to hand over the rest of the documents so I can leave them for good. - Dishonest and cunning. I was charged for something that was provided for free the year before because I send them a notice of termination. They wanted to get as much money as possible before I leave. - Double charging my fees and promised to refund me. Until today I have yet to be refunded and TBH, I can’t be bothered chasing it, I just want nothing to do with them anymore. I would advise anyone to go elsewhere but here.

Non Responsive , lack customer services, once you sign in the lease, you have to wait hours to get someone to respond you and for the collection of the keys, you wait on the receptions for hours.

My daughter went with certainty Property and is the worst she has ever dealt with. Left the property in June and still waiting for her bond back. They have put another tenant in there as well so are holding 2 bonds. Can never talk to anybody have to email which they don’t answer. Would never recommend Certainty Property. Should have known when it was a property in Winter Valley and had to pick keys up in St Kilda from a beauty shop

Her attention to detail has been fantastic but what has impressed me the most is her dedication to her work and ensuring that she keeps in contact with me over my property, ensuring I'm kept up to date with all matters. Connor at Certainty Property has truly set the bar high for property managers. From day one of my lease, he has been exceptional. Every issue/request at the property is addressed promptly, and his communication is always friendly, not just businesslike. Connor sees tenants as people, not just numbers on a list. I cannot recommend highly enough of Certainty property to anyone who is looking for an outstanding Property Manager. Connor is sensational and extremely helpful, when he assisted me with the whole leasing process --from advertising campaign to setting the property ready for the new tenant, which was stress free and professionally done. Connor always keeps up to his promises and has been very good at communication throughout!

My husband and I have two investment properties with Certainty and I must say I have been very pleased with the communication by both property managers, Raina (VIC) and Ayesha (WA). Raina was quick to respond to my enquires and made me feel at ease with the process of securing a tenant. She has always been approachable and friendly and goes the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction. Ayesha has a great style of communication and is always so personable and happy to help with any query I may have. She was able to secure a tenant efficiently and with ease. I always feel comfortable with contacting her and she gets back to me immediately. The two of them work collaboratively, always considering my needs as an investor. I highly recommend these two for their exceptional customer service, kind manner, professionalism and efficiency.

Kevin on the queensland team is extremely dedicated and balances the needs of the tenant and landlord, with effective communication and problem solving skills regardless of situation. I've been very happy with Certainty Property, and Connor has done a terrific job as property manager; always willing to help, arranging quotes and services quickly and efficiently, providing detailed inspection reports, but also really caring about the quality of customer service he provides. Nothing is too much trouble. Highly recommended and a pleasure to work with.

Renae is absolutely phenomenal and her team is professional, dedicated and reliable. They act quickly when needed and treat tenants well. When having to change properties and agents, Renae went out of her way to assist me, making me feel valued not only as a tenant, but as a person. Highly recommend.
