Chewy sent me a product that I did not order, said it was on auto ship, which it was not. They will not accept a return . So I must pay for something I did not order, customer service is not understanding. I would caution every one dealing with Chewy.com , there are safer alternatives. This once was a good co. to deal with but not any longer.

Sketchy how your orders get cancelled out of the blue with no explanation. Easier to go to the store and buy faster and cheaper.

Chewy is an amazing company! They recently learned one of our dogs had passed over the rainbow bridge and within the next couple days I received a beautiful flower arrangement. I always like talking to chewy customer service representatives because they are so nice and so knowledgeable!

I am a Chewy customer for life. This company has not only sent me flowers after putting Dozer down. But they also called me. I started using them at the beginning of the pandemic because Dozers food was becoming hard to find in stores. I continued to use them because it's an swesome company and the customer service is outstanding. So anyone who is wondering if you should start using Chewy, you won't regret it.

I like Chewy , they seem fair when it comes to prices but customer service is not there. I have used Chewy four years and have had numerous complaints about their use of Fed Ex as a shipper. I have had product spilled on the yard or crushed from the shipper fueling the boxes. the last e mail I sent CS is as follows, Question Reference # 220721-159017 Image07/21/2022 09:04 PM Hi there Richard, I am very sorry to hear that your recent experience with Chewy has led you to stop services with us. Although you'll be dearly missed, we fully understand that our customers must do what's best for them and their furbabies. With this being said, should you ever get curious about a product, or even a question that comes to mind, know that we're here for you, day and night, waiting to lend a helping paw. Warm regards, Danielle L. Customer Service Chewy Image07/21/2022 08:43 PM Again I have broken items in my order, I have tried to let you people no that I will buy from a close retailer if I keep getting ruined Producers toss the boxes on the step and have talked to them. They tend to say ok and vs. This last was cat food 15 dollars and half a case of dog food ay 35 dollars a case. I have seen the delivery driver toss the box on the ground as well as destroy my wife’s plants. So enough is enough, I quit. As you can see after years of feeding Chewy it bit me in the ass. so good bye chewy .

Great customer service is sadly lacking today and I'm inspired to write about it upon finding it! I've been a Chewy customer for several years and have been satisfied but not raving. Recently I've encountered a few issues with my vet not authorizing a prescription and FRAUD on my account. Not setting up for a good situation. But here is where it get's amazing....I called at 5:27 PM PST to their 800 number posted on their website and a live person, who speaks perfect English answered the phone. (I mentioned the time because many companies don't service those on the West Coast) She went through reasonable questions to verify my identify and quickly addressed each of my issues. Without my asking, she immediately offered to refund the order that was fraudulent on my account and went through the password reset scenario to protect against future cases. And then we discussed my new pending order than needed the vets authorization. It was so easy and wonderful and exactly how I wish I could interact with other major companies. Thank you, Daisy (that was the customer service person) and Chewy. You have a earned a long time customer with me!

Chewy should be ashamed of themselves. I have been a loyal customer spending thousands of dollars for dog food and cat food for over a decade. This was the first time that I needed a prescription it wasn't for opiates it was for Saline and electrolytes IV fluids. My dog was so sick on Sunday our veterinarian said it would be best to put her down. I wouldn't accept it because she was just fine the day before she got back scenes this all came on very fast right to the point of diarrhea and blood. The IV fluids we were giving her at home from the vet at $45 a bag for 500ml for working and making her come back to life, eating and drinking. The vet told me he gets his IV fluids from chewy. I called chewy with the prescription and Christine who I've talked to before who should not be working with customer service due to her rudeness told me I needed to mail the prescription. In a crying voice I told her my dog will not live that long if I have to wait can I please email the script or can the doctor call you? She said no this is our policy. So over policy my dog is going to die. I want everyone to know this story so that they do not depend upon chewy for food or especially prescriptions to keep your dog healthy or even from dying!

I contacted Chewy to cancel our autoship order. I explained to Tierra the Customer Service Rep that we were heartbroken because Joyce our 13.5 year old husky had to be put down. She expressed sympathy, saying she recently had the same experience. A few days later Chewy sent us flowers and a kind note.

Overall I love Chewy. Product lines are good so I find everything I need, even prescription food for my dog. They are always on time and if there has been a delay it was not within their control. However, I have called customer service a couple of times, very pleasant, and asked that a note be made that the boxes are coming too heavy and I can't lift them. No more than 28-30 pounds per box. Today, one box came with 48 pounds in it and the other was 46 pounds, stacked on top of one another. They were placed in front of my front door so I could hardly move them to get inside. Had to unpack them one by one outside in order to bring the items in. Prices have gone up quite a bit but we all know why. I'd just appreciate the boxes being no more than 28-30 pounds each. I'd rather recycle the boxes than strain my back trying to get the boxes inside.

I have been with Chewy a few year and I used them for my mother's dog too. They have ALWAYS had exceptional customer service. I remember during the pandemic we could not find the special dog food for sensitive skin for my mother's dog. The person at Chewy called for me several stores to search for this skin care dog food. We found a store 39mins away and we were happy to pick it up. Recently my mother passed but I inherited her dog plus I have two cats at my own house. I ordered medication for her dog and talk to the Yvonne in a causal way about how I now have to take care of my mother's dog on a regular basis. She was so kind an compassionate, and empathetic to my now grieving situation . Next thing I know I received flowers from Yvonne at Chewy. I will be a lifetime member of Chewy. They care for your pets as much as you do. She also cared enough for my grief and spirt. Blessings 🤗 to you and I will never forget this act of kindness

I would put zero stars if I could! I put in an order for Hartgard on June 13, 2022 and it's July 5, 2022 and I still don't have the order! That's almost 30 days! Unacceptable! They have made every excuse for why it has taken so long. They even tried to say that they could not get a hold of the vet. I've never had an issue with getting a hold of the vet. When I told the vet about the problems that I was having, they said that Chewy had not contacted them, but they would call Chewy themselves with the prescription. Chewy cancelled my prescription right after that. I told them that I had never cancelled and they did not warn me of a cancellation. Chewy told me that I would have to reorder the Hartgard. Guess what? I can't get it for the price that I got when I had originally ordered it. They want me to pay more for their mistake. I will not use Chewy ever again and I do not recommend it.

I’ve been buying my dog food through Chewy for a couple of years now and it’s always been a good experience with unbeatable prices and fast shipping. Recently unfortunately, my beloved dog Emma passed away. She was the cutest chi weenie ever and looked like a puppy still at 13 years old… Anyways, I had her medication on Autoship with Chewy for only about 2 months but had to call and cancel the Autoship which was due to be delivered in two days. They were so kind and instantly refunded me for the medication wether it had shipped already or not. They just made it all so easy for me at a really difficult time. A few days later my doorbell rang and I received flowers in a vase and was in complete shock when I read the note that Chewy had written in condolences for my loss. To some people pets are just pets but to my family they’ve always been just like our children so Emma will be sincerely missed and it really meant a lot that Chewy took the time to make it important. It was very wonderful of Chewy to go to the lengths they did for us, I still can’t believe they sent us flowers, thank you so much, I will forever be a customer.

Chewy customer service doesn't care AT ALL. Chewy couldn't care less and have no avenue to helping you get your pet food..Even if food isn't available just be nice and pleasant. Customer service is rude and uninvolved in the exchange a person is trying to have because they are home doing laundry and taking care of their personal lives. No supervision listening in on phone calls to disgruntled customers .So disrespectful to people who need help and their help line is useless as well... Chewy what to do? If you care

I had been told that I would receive a medication within 2 days and did not receive it until 9 days later when course of treatment had long since ended. When asked for a refund they put blame the medication being late on the veterinarian and would not give a refund. I have never placed an order with Chewy.com before and I definitely will never order anything from them again. Their service was bad and the customer service was even worse!!!

For the last couple of years, every time I order my pets’s prescription food, I am asked to upload my vet authorization. It is ok when it’s expired but my vet typically writes for 6-12 months. This is so very frustrating. Their delivery time is great, however I’m about ready to stop using this service. Get it together!!!!!

We have ordered out dogs prescription food in an autoship from Chewy for years. The level of service had always been stellar and we have referred many people to them. Recently our dog was diagnosed with Cushings. The medication is $200 a month from our vet vs. about $140 from Chewy. Ordered the meds and the order sent to the vet showed a FL address. We, and our vet are in NC. The vet could not fill a script that was supposedly being sent to another state. I called three times and each time was told that the address the company showed was indeed a NC address however each time they sent the order to the vet a FL address appeared. Asked to speak to a pharmacy rep and was transferred to Tricia. Tricia clearly was annoyed as she came on the oh in and verified the order. As I tried to explain she interrupted and told us “there is no FL address on file so I don’t know what your vet is talking about.” I told her that a rep from our vet was online with us to try to help solve the problem and she yelled at me and told me “she didn’t have to do a conference call and could help me when I could help myself.” She then kept threatening to hang up. I finally told her to do so and she did. I could not believe the level of service that she offered and nor could the vet- tech. Fortunately, Pet Co offers the same products we need for both the meds and the food. They offer the same autoship option and the prices are identical. I choose where to spend my money and I choose to spend it where customers are treated with some semblance of respect.

I have been a customer for 11 1/2 years and would rate them 5* plus. I was enrolled in a yearly prescription for heartworm pills for my dog Zeus. Chewy must verify this with your veterinarian to send out the heartworm meds. During the interim, my dog passed away. While checking with my veterinarian they received the news of his passing. They kindly canceled my prescription and sent the most beautiful flowers to my home expressing how they were sorry for my loss. I cannot express how deeply touched I was to receive such beautiful flowers and such kind words. Thank you Tiara from Chewy

Words are not enough to thank Chewy. Aside from being a one-stop shop for all of your pet's needs, their customer service is just EXCELLENT! Special thanks to Nicolas R. and Elliott H for their help! They've treated me with so much kindness and compassion and I will forever be grateful for that. My beloved kitty just passed and after informing them about it, I got a beautiful flower arrangement the next day. This has brought a big smile on my face after all the grief I've experienced from losing my pet. They also gave me refunds from the products/meds which I no longer have a need for. They just wanted me to donate the items to pets who may need them. How amazing is that? I will always be a loyal customer of Chewy. They are simply the BEST!
