Bought a combined floor sweeper and steam cleaner. Never worked particularly well and when it went wrong after only a couple of years they weren't remotely interested as it was out of guarantee (you wouldn't get this kind of attitude from Lakeland!) Also bought a ladies' epilator which was a complete waste of time and money. Needless to say, I shan't be using this company again.

We have had many products from Coopers & yes, sometimes have had to wait for goods but appreciate the busy times for the company. No problems so far but would add that we ordered & received two door canopies in green and are so pleased with them wanted to extend and, Coopers no longer do the canopies in green - wonder why!!!

I've been waiting over a week now (as I type this) for Coopers to send stuff I ordered. They've had my money up front already (paid by debit card online). Their website orders page has said 'order being processed' since day 1. I emailed them today asking if they'd noticed I placed an order on their site and their short, curt reply said that they had up to 28 days to fulfill delivery, and that some or all of the bits I've paid for might arrive at different times. No apology from them for such a delay. They use Hermes home delivery, not Royal Mail, so there is absolutely no excuse for holding up ordered goods in this way. If I could find an equivalent trader that sells the kind of stuff we need, and they are able to deliver punctually, I would use them and say good riddance to Coopers.

They are sooooo slow at sending orders it's ridiculous I don't know what is stopping them sending orders maybe they don't hold stock and have to order it in before sending it if this is the case that's really bad business as they don't know their supply needs and don't plan ahead this isn't the 1970s things don't move at a snails pace any more despatch should be the same day or the next not 7+ days and delivery should be anything from 1 to 5 days no more, the fact they charge a flat rate of £4.99 is also bad considering if the item is small it would never cost that much to send unless of course it's a premium delivery ie next day otherwise it's bad value for money. In summary they are either incompetent or aren't bothered about their customers as their whole system is awful even their emails can't be answered quickly they state to allow up to seven days for a response as they are very busy yeah right probably busy answering people asking where the hell is my stuff I won't be buying from them again life's too short to be dealing with bad companies and endless waiting.

Ordered a DeHumidifier arrived 2 days after ordered and has run well for 2 years. Service extremely good.

What can I say.... Quite possibly the worst company I have ever dealt with. I bought a Chainsaw, and on arrival, it was clear to see that a major integral part was missing, and another part didn't look 'Brand new out of the box' that I would have expected. I did wryly note that there was a Quality Control tag on there, but a 4 year old would have noticed that there was no part to attach a chain to. So, anyway, I e mailed the company to point this out. I got a standard automated reply stating they were experiencing higher than normal calls that day and would be back to me in 12 hours.... So, 2 days later I get a reply(!) stating sorry, they'll send replacement parts. The parts duly arrived a few days after this, and again, a 4 year old could tell you that these were parts for some completely different piece of equipment. I cannot believe that nobody from the company would take the time to do basic checks to see what the original order was and cross reference. I e mailed the company again, and guess what. They were experiencing an unusually high number of calls that day and would take 12 hours to get back to me. In this day and age, 1, nobody falls for that line anymore. 2, 12 hours to reply is simply not good enough in the modern business world. Having said that, after researching just how many people that are complaining about Coopers, I expect the complaints person is probably run off their feet and on anti depressants! Eventually, Coopers have got back to me saying maybe its better that I just return it all. You don't say...! So anyway, ui now have to take a day off work next week, because Coopers cant give me a time when their courier will show up to collect. So, I will lose a days work, have to sit around waiting for them to turn up so I can return it.... In the modern world, this awful service normally means they would go out of business, but it looks like their target audience is probably senior citizens which are less likely to complain.... And the one glowing review on this sight, I would take with a pinch of salt and would also guess that they are an employee or related to an employee of the company...! I will never ever buy anything from this company ever again, and would spend my days making sure nobody else I know is tempted to get anything from them.

A card-shuffler I bought as a Christmas present turned out to be faulty and Coopers responded to every email quickly and politely. The refund for the product and postage was equally prompt.

2 door shoe storage cabinet, arrived very quickly .the assembly instruction are difficult to follow ,the unit was slightly damaged

Late friday afternoon 6/2/2015 I ordered a wheel chair explaining to the operator it was urgently needed, it arrived next morning at 9am. It is rare to get such good service,but you do at Coopers. Thank You. Mr. Chris Sims Luton

have returned from lanzarote .the leather travellers were brilliant.flight tickets etc in front zip pocket .very roomy just seemed to keep on expanding excellent quality. very good is not a high enough rating for these they were beyond excellent. have just ordered some more items from this store .hope no im sure they will be as good

I have just received my Lounge Trolly, only ordered sunday afternoon and arrived tuesday morning that was very quick sevice. Am really pleased with this item very strong and study, saw some elsewhere and wanted triple the price. Thank you very much will shop with you again and will recommend you to friends. Do not use this company! they state delivery can take up to 30 days. So you have to wait for that long before it does not turn up at all. Totally unacceptable in the modern world. Much better companies offer real delivery dates and tracking. Forget trying to call them unless you have hours and money to waste.

I AM RELATIVELY NEW TO THIS SELLER ONLY PURCHASED 4 ITEMS SO FAR BUT HAVE HAD NO TROUBLE WHATSOEVER AND WILL CONTINUE TO USE THEM AS LONG AS THIS SITUATION CONTINUES THERE BUYING TO DELIVERING IS PHENOMENAL IN MY CASE CAN'T FAULT THEM FULLY RECOMMEND. HARRY B

I recently purchased ear cleaners.The items were useless and a total waste of money. I left a negative review in the site. When I checked a few hours later it said that my review was awaiting approval. One week later, my review has disapeared. Shame on Coopers for rejecting genuine critical reviews

Received items noon today, (22nd) these were ordered at almost MIDNIGHT on 20th January.......what service, well done Coopers. Items were a reorder of outdoor sensor lights, so delighted with previous one I came back for another 2. Can highly recommend these lights. E.C

I purchased a reading lamp in 2011 so less than 3 yes. I phoned to see if they had a spare plug which I was willing to pay. All they said was no as out of warranty. I asked for address of supplier at first they said didnt know even though they still sell item. Then they said they are not obliged to give as China and Hong Kong. They told me to google it even though I was told by 4 reputable electrical suppliers not safe to buy off the internet as not safe Their attitude was couldn't care less. I have asked to be removed from mailing list as you get more loyalty from market stalls. I will not buy from Coopers again due to their lack of interest in their customers. I was willing to pay but they didn't care.

I ordered a two step folding stool on the 14th January. Despatch was confirmed on the 16th January and the goods were delivered at 10:30am on Saturday 17th January. The stool is made of good hard wood and well constructed. I was quite prepared for it to be supplied in flat pack form but was pleasantly surprised to find it assembled. I am very pleased with shopping experience I have had with Coopers and would not hesitate to recommend them. June in Aylesbury.

Purchased manual log splitter, was a bit sceptical BUT IT IS A GODSEND !!!!! VERY easy to use, and I'm not fit, much more stable than I thought it would be, even on gravel. Will keep an eye on ratchet grooves ( lot of pressure ), but seems sturdy enough on first showing. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED Danny T Cheltenham

Coopers of Stortford have a problem with delivering goods. We placed an order at the end of November, it arrived incomplete, I.e. some items were missing. I was assured the missing items would be shipped soon. Next I got a parcel with the complete order, which meant I now had duplicates and was being charged for them. When I contacted Coopers they said they would arrange for the duplicates to be picked up by Hermes couriers. This was at the beginning of December. Since then Coopers fixed 3 days when Hermes would come and pick up the goods. We are still in possession of the duplicates and have not been reimbursed yet. This service is unacceptable and very inconvenient for the customer.
