First, they mislead in their shipping policy. You receive an e-mail that it will take 2 weeks, but upon inquiry they say it will take 21 days. Second, the customer service people will lie to you. On the website message, they said I still have to wait for the 21 days and that I will receive my order eventually, but upon Instagram inquiry, they said both of my 2 parcels (because I made the mistake of reordering when it was first misplaced) are classed as lost in post. They have no communication with the delivery team - after you receive the e-mail that your order has been shipped (which can be a lie, because my first package was never actually shipped), they don’t care at all about the status of your order. After one month, I was not able to receive my order or to get a refund. I could never use the link they sent for tracking my order , as it showed that FedEx had no reference of my order on file. If you check Instagram you’ll see that there are a lot of comments with people not being able to get their money back or their orders. I didn’t know this :( Do not order from them.

Awful customer service. I ordered 2 expensive eyeshadow pallets last week with next day delivery and unfortunate enough for me I only received 1. I escalated this immediately to the customer service team who promised a refund over their live chat and via email. 4 days later I received an email informing me that the warehouse team did pack both pallets and as they have cctv in the warehouse and ‘weight scanning technology’ they basically accused me of being a liar and that I will not receive a refund nor a replacement pallet. On top of this they shut my account down and denied me of any further orders, not that this is an issue as I would never order from this awful business again. They would not even chase with the courier to see if my item has gone missing in transit l.

Scam site. Ordered on February 26th and we are in May...I never got my order. I message them repeatedly insisting on a refund but the won't send my products and won't return my money. Scam Scam scam. Do NOT order from them.

I have sent numerous emails and also went onto the live chat regarding my order which needed to be cancel because I have nt received it as yet, it's already been about 3 months and I have not gotten any response from you guys

Like most people have said, the customer service is shocking. I placed an order two weeks ago for 4 products. The money was taken from my account straight away. I then received an email 2 days later saying one product couldn’t be sent to Australia so they’ll “refund” that amount -they didn’t. The remaining 3 products were apparently sent, but the tracking information never updated beyond “departed Cult Beauty.” I flagged this via email and heard nothing, so I had to contact via Instagram. The people responding were so unhelpful and apparently an order number, email address, phone number, physical address and name isn’t enough information to look up my order? They also needed the date, order amount and billing address (which I supplied and still nothing.) I then contacted them via their webpage when I received an email saying they’ve received my refund request - with zero explanation as to how or why. Someone replied saying “the courier returned your order.” That was it. No “We will resend express, so sorry for the inconvenience, what would you like to do…” Never using again, such a frustrating experience and company to deal with. I literally never leave complaints, but avoid using them.

Ridiculous customer service. Two missing orders and each time I've tried to contact customer service, I've received contradictory replies. No phone team and the live chat is a joke. Not even worth one star!

They sent me that the order will come between 6th and 8th of April and it came on April 15th. I asked them how can they do that and they said that delivery takes up to 30 days but they havent written that once before I made my purchase and the dates of 6th and 8th were mentioned while I was purchasing and later in e-mail as a confirmation I ordered two things, one is a present that I have to give in late because of them and the other is Huda Beauty lipstick which came as if it was melted and then freezed again.

Just a word of warning, be careful with the “sales/promotions/savings” on their website. I ordered the Glow Recipe Glow Getter kit which included a Toner and Moisturiser, promoted at £44 (35% saving). The product information on what size/ml wasn’t listed (I only had photo to go off), so I contacted customer service to verify. The person on chat told me the Toner was 40ml and Moisturiser was 60ml. I checked the individual price of these items on their site and the cost was listed as £14 Toner 40ml and £36 Moisturiser 60ml. So to purchase them normally would have been £50. So applying the “promotion” the saving was £6. Which is 12%… not 35%. After many times contacting customer service and trying get someone to explain why the item product was smaller sized and not the promoted discount (and to have them understand where I was coming from), they advised that the promotion was for the items I received, it included £6 discount and a bag. (The said bag is a plastic, cheap looking item that in the price = £12!!!!!! Which costs more than the toner!!!) I my opinion, the package is a rip off. I would really have just preferred to get sent both items in their largest size and not have this bag. (Please note that the cost of both items in their large size purchased together, would have equalled £67. So with discount of 35%, it would have been the promoted £44. This is what I thought I would have been receiving and was keen to purchase and why I kept asking them to verify the size to make sure. I was not trying to just get larger sizes for no reason) So I am now sending back and getting refund, because as I said the deal is just not worth it. The customer service team were polite, but the impression I received was that they didn't really want to have to deal with me after they said what I received was right and it wasn’t changing. I was offered a £5 credit for the inconvenience, but I don’t believe this helped the rectify anything. As I said, I would have preferred the product and this was my first time using the site so I don’t know if I will want to use their site again. So don’t get your hopes up that they will go above and beyond to help you. So my advice is to make sure you double check that what they promote as a saving or anything is actually worth it.

Cult Beauty have changed their courier service in recent months and the service is atrocious - on two occasions I have paid for next day delivery and in both instances my order has miraculously been ‘delayed’. My orders were then sent in separate parts over the course of two weeks, one being a sample in a huge box which is so wasteful. I am guessing this decline in service happened in tandem with the company being purchased by the hut group. Big corporations rarely care about maintaining customer service - it’s just a money grab. I’ll be purchasing my beauty goods elsewhere from now on.

Ordered on the 14th February 2022,i have not received my orders, today is the 1st of April 2022.they are quite and rude when you send an email asking about getting your orders. They used to be good when using DHL now everything is wrong with that company, save yourself stress and money buy somewhere else.

Not to be trusted! Instead of the expensive product I ordered they sent me an empty box (with a free sample in it) and playing games when I ask for a refund. DO NOT TRUST

When DHL used to handle delivery, it was great but since Fed ex took over. Wow ordered 12 Feb, now 18 March no delivery No update since 9 March. Really disappointed at the courier they use. Cult beauty is a good online shop with the worse courier I miss the days when it took a week to deliver

Wouldn’t recommend to anyone I received my order with two elastic bands around box so when I removed only 1 item was in the box all the rest was missing I’ve been made feel like a theif ! I asked for a replacement & was told they couldn’t ship to my address & they would refund me but were closing my account ive been left feeling upset & angry 😤 customers service was extremely poor so if anyone is thinking of ordering please think again I wouldn’t recommend cult beauty to anyone absolute joke ! 😡

Worst online shopping experience ever. I placed an order with est. delivery date being 17 Feb 2022 - 22 Feb 2022, which was also the reason that I chose to purchase from them rather than any other local platforms. But shipping status hasn't been updated since 20/02/22. It is 11/03/22 , 30 days from when I placed the order. I will never shop from this platform again.

Worst customer service ever. Wrong paperwork filled out for DHL so my package has sat a US Customs. Bad packaging so Ive received broken bottles. Items missing in other deliveries. I just found out they were sold to a huge company last August. So sad. They company has completely gone down hill.

I ordered from Cult Beauty and my parcel have arrived in time and in good condition. My order came from UK to Sweden, i got notifications regarding the progress of my order. I was also in contact with the customer service via chat and they have answers my questions and inquiries swiftly. Everything went well for me, I do wonder why other people have problems with receiving their orders. I do recommend buying from Cult Beauty.

Just don’t bother. It’s not worth the hassle. I have NEVER experienced customer service or anything like it and I have been buying things online for a long time. I have used this company on several occasions and some experiences were ok but to be honest it’s more hassle than it’s worth. They use a terrible courier service that have just been awful and I would go so far as to say I felt like I was accused of steeling the last time around. A month on and still have no answers, products or refunds… nothing but sassy attitudes and accusations. They got me to sign a legal form to say I haven’t received the products which I paid for and still NOTHING. Meanwhile a Lady out in another part of the city has got my parcel and the only reason I know is because someone has HANDWRITTEN my phone number on the front of the parcel (data protection which I normally wouldn’t care about was DEFINITELY forgotten about). I can’t collect it however because there is an ongoing “investigation” going on. Moral of the story: JUST DON’T BOTHER. Far better online Beauty services.
