i bought a brand new tele from Curry's in March and after 5 months the tele stopped working. the tele was collected for repair on the 1st Ausut and agreed to deliver it back on the 6th. today is the 9th and still not delivered. phoned every day and it seems like they DONT CARE AND NOT BOTHERED. i clearly said i got 2 children at home during half term and its impossible to keep them happy without a tele so please expedite.no one is actually bothered. then i requested for a refund to buy a new tele, or to replace it with a new tele. again no one cared. I logged a complaint and still and still and response. complaint ref CC 0004024542. please please sort this for me

we bought a new Sharp tele from Currys on the 3rd March. The TV stopped working all of a sudden in July. phoned Curry's and they came and took the tele for repairs on the 1st. agreed to bring it back on the 6th. Didn't hear so call on the 6th. guess what its not ready. then call every day since then and doesn't seem like any one is bothered. explained that its school holidays and i got 2 kids and no body cared at all. promised to keep me updated. after 9 days no information at all. obviously not repaired. requested for a new tele if they cant fix it or refund the money and no one is replying. logged a complained CC0004024542 after the 6th day. no response. why is the service so so poor. its a brand new tele which stopped working after 5 months and no one is interested in repairing. i have never ever in my life experienced such a poor, unprofessional, shambolic service. the service is a disgrace to the retail world. can someone interested in this come back to me please

Astoundingy unhelpful, uninterested and really could not care less about your rights and that is just the customer services. Once they have made a sale that is all they are interested in. Should be ashamed of themselves

Appalling after care service. Dishwasher wouldn't switch on. Several calls made only to find I had to have an engineer come out to inspect to confirm I wasnt a liar. Then i had to wait in again for the dishwasher to be collected. Now 3 weeks later, money still hasn't been put back into my account. When asked to speak to a manager, refused this as it seems it not currys policy. Times are tough in the retail sector, yet currys dont seem to want happy satisfied customers. I for 1 will never shop again with currys. Disgusting service, next time I need electrical goods i shall be heading to John lewis

Disgusting customer service. Ordered an item for evening delivery which never turned up on the 1st July. I got the delivery refunded but it's now 8th August and I'm still fighting to get a refund! All I got told today was that I have to wait for the item to be returned to the warehouse! Will never use Currys again.

A few months ago, I ordered an oven with next day delivery. Because I'm working 6 days a week, I took a day off from work to receive it. Time slot 1pm-7pm. Around 7pm driver called that he is unable to deliver it because of heavy traffic and it is too late (and he is working until 7pm), and rescheduled it to Saturday (4 days later!). So I was waiting all day on Saturday to receive a phone call from the driver at the end of the whole day (!) that his car broke down and can't deliver it. Angry, I cancelled it and ordered from another company. Last week, I ordered a washing machine. Lesson learned and I booked it to be delivered on Sunday because no one will pay me for another lost day of work. Guess what? End of the day, a phone call from the driver that his car broke down and can't deliver it! How convenient, isn't it?! This is outrages! The call centre couldn't help me either, just apologised. The order cancelled. I am so so angry! Waisted three days on waiting, lost salary for one day, money on phone calls (5p per minute, and you need to wait min 30min to talk to someone, who can't do anything really!) and of course no washing machine... Add to it stress and lost trust. Never ever again I will use Currys delivery service!!! All that adverts about next day and weekends deliveries are massive scam!

Bought my wife a Mac Air Laptop for her birthday and was told I could collect after 5pm on Friday. When I went to collect it wasn't there but they hadn't told me so I had a wasted trip. To make matters worse they didn't have a clue where it was and said that they would email and let us know, but guess what - no email. Tried to phone on Saturday but couldn't get through as nobody answers the phone. Tried again on Sunday and managed to get through only to be told that they thought it might be in Cardiff which is a bit odd as I live in Ramsgate. I'm now to expect an email tomorrow (Monday) but I won't hold my breath.

I came into your Swindon store for a TV but really didn’t understand all the technical side of things. Antony (93) was great, he answered all my questions with patience. I left the store saying I’d return....there was no hard sale (which really puts me off) and I was glad to be able to think about it without pressure. The following day I returned and on Antony’s advice from the previous day I bought a TV - not the original one I’d chosen but a much more expensive TV due to his great advice. I asked for Antony to serve me again as he did such a sterling job. It’s a week on and the whole family are so happy with our new TV. So Curry’s if you do read this, please make sure you congratulate Antony as he’s a credit to your team and I will look out for him next time I’m in.

Where do I start? We bought a tv from curry's and decided it would be a good idea to have it fixed to the wall so we bought the recommended bracket and booked team knowhow at £125 to come and do the work. Before I go on can I just make this rant very clear, the team at curry's Oldham were fantastic That's the good news, it goes downhill fast from there. A week after purchasing our tv team knowhow turned as scheduled, nice guys. So after realizing they did not have the correct fixing for the bracket they asked us if we had some screws!!! The bracket was fixed to the wall and tv hung. They left us to clear up all the mess from the drilling and left. Upon sitting down to see our lovely new tv in pride of place on the wall it appeared not to be straight and confirmed this when I put a spirit level on it. I phoned the guys and told them to which they said they would call me back in 10 mins and arrange to come straight back. No phone call, no sign off them and they ignored my calls after that. I called team knowhow to inform them and was told another appointment would have to be done. So another 7 days later another team turned up. Upon inspecting they agreed the tv was not straight however as the 1st team took all the spares which came with the bracket they informed us that we needed to another bracket and until we had it they could not do anything and left. Yet another call to team knowhow and yet another appointment again 7 days later. The team again turned up and the first thing I was asked was "what are we here to do?" When I told them they answer was "we are not trained to hang TV's.can you imagine our response and subsequent phone call to team knowhow. So another appointment was made and again it was for a further 7 days. 7 days past and I get a call from the team booked to rectify the work. Again I got asked what they were coming to do. After explaining this long story they informed me they were also not trained for this. The situation is now that bad it is laughable. So another call to team knowhow, all we got was apologies and the promise of a full refund of the £125 install fee and the cost of the original bracket. Another appointment was made this time 3 days. We were told to call back as soon as the problem was fixed and we were happy. The team came and rectified the problem and finally we were happy. So we phoned back as instructed, again having to explain the whole story to which came the response they wouldn't be giving a full refund and were only giving £30 towards the bracket. Fuming with nothing we could say they ended the call. Team knowhow, you mean team know nothing! These are supposed to be experts the customer relations team is a joke this is by far the worst service we have received from any company ever!

chuckle bros failed to install washing machine as it was his first day and he wasn't trained to lift..........drove off. Without telling us, rearranged delivery for next day. When I rang to complain was given the H&S nonsense, unfortunately for them I am the Logisitcs Director for a blue-chip. Then got a message on mobile to say would deliver the day after tomorrow, its a movable feast. Am now waiting for them to call me back to try to explain this fiasco, as the driver told them that the corners were too tight to deliver a washing machine. Funny, but I don't remember building the house around the present encumbant.

I bought my elderly mother in law a fridge/freezer at the Yeovil branch and paid for installation/door reversal/disposal of old one. The doors were not put on properly by the delivery person, who tried to talk her out of having them reversed initially - seemingly in a rush. The follow up 'engineer' who called, supposedly to correct this, insisted there was nothing wrong with them. However, I was told over the phone that it was to be expected as it was a cheap product! Upon physically checking myself, another second engineer visit is arranged (after the operator tried to get me to contact the manufacturer direct for a possible replacement). The top of the fridge was initially put back on (visibly) wonky and the bottom door springs back, after half closing, so has to be shut twice! Both done by Currys delivery staff and clearly not a manufacture fault. I now have to take time to travel and be there when the next engineer comes to point out and ensure faults are rectified. Currys lack of knowledge, unprofessionalism and very poor customer care has led me to do my first review ever (at 56!) I'm left astounded by the way they conduct their business and the general low standard of the staff I have encountered throughout this purchase.

Very happy with curry’s slough, except for the man that served us today! He was unfriendly, disinterested, sullen and arrogant to the point of rudeness. We should have asked for someone else to serve us
