Hi I’ve had an on going dispute with Currys since January to do with an insurance claim. First they sent my tv back and said they would not fix it witch I have appealed and so far after over twenty visits to the store recorded letters sent out and emails to the ceo no response or out come. The poorest customer service I have ever come across.

Currys longton I brought a currys own brand under the counter fridge and dishwasher was advised they did them both in silver in the sizes I wanted took the fridge home dishwasher to be delivered Unboxed at home turned out to be white after further phone calls and going back to store on the sunday I was advised they didn't do the size of fridge I wanted in silver yet the day before they did ? So after further running around to another store pick a white one up staff where helpful apologies hence that to settle for white thanks

Ordered a fridge yesterday at 18:00(cut off was 19:00) for next morning delivery. Got a text stating that it's being delivered on Monday instead forgetting that most of us work on Monday. They couldn't change it to afternoon, evening or tomorrow. No effort to rectify this. Also I woudnt have got my refund if I didn't call. The customer support guy was friendly though.

Hi, I purchased a Samsung UE48H6400AKXXU TV 5 years ago with a support agreement and just had it renewed this month. The tv started to have black dusty marks on the screen which couldn't be wiped off so booked in for a repair to have it fixed. My support agreement policy includes a loan TV while the tv goes off for a repair. I asked them about it when I booked in for a repair. They told me they don't have any and cannot guarantee if they will have one.So I didn't bother as I was told it would take a week to have it repaired a back. I said it's fine. Booked for a collection on the 5-06-2019 and had it delivered on the 12-06-2019. I just put the TV on the stand and noticed the outer bezel has got multiple cracks on different areas. This is the same problem I had when they took the tv for repair for the first time and when I got it back had cracked bezel on it. I complained about it but nothing happened and when they took the TV for fixing the issue no loan TV again. No good customer service at all. They kept me on hold for a long time then pass me to department to department and at the end we the customer don't win just loose even though it's their fault not ours.if its some thing that would have not been covered by warrant it doesn't even take a second for them to tell us that we are wrong and when we are right they just make sure we are wrong all the time.I fell totally discriminated with regard to the issue. And now this is the second time I had the same issued done by the repair team. I contacted the repair team and explained them every thing all he said was" I will have to book for a repair again and there is no loan TV at the moment. All I can do is pass you to the customer service department where you can complain about the issue and they might be able to compensate or loan you a TV. Shall I connect you to them after I book for a repair." I said yes and he connected me to the customer service department which took 40min wait. When I got connected I spoke to a lady and explained her everything again and she said to me" I have noted everything you have said and will give you a case number unfortunately I cannot do anything and will have to pass you back to the repair team who can help you with a loan tv." I said to her. This is not my problem the problem was created by our repair team is this how a loyal customer gets treated. I have 7 item on support agreement with curry's and what's the point with all the service when they don't provide any. She replied rudely and quicky saying" hold on I will pass you to the repair team." and put me on hold for another 25 minutes and then another lady answered. I had to explain her everything again as he was not handed any info from the person who passed on to me.The she said after all the explaining" Sorry you are on the wrong department this is warrenty department we renew or review policy only.Let me pass you to the repair department." and then put me on hold again for 20min and then a guy answered from the first department I explained everything to him and he just rudely replied saying" what you want." I said I want a tv on loan. Then he said" I will book you one but there's no guarantee you might get one." Thats was all. I wasted 1HOUR 23MINUTES AND 49SECOND on a phone conversation with team knowhow and nothing resolved at the end. I am disgusted with the service I received. Is this how a customer gets treated I was patient and never raised my anger during the whole period of conversation on the phone. Well done team know how can you live up with it. I tried to complain and ended up wasting my time why keep a complain department in the first place. Problem was created by your department no me. How can someone make same mistake being such a reputative company.

Bought an expensive fridge freezer (Kenwood--their own in-house brand) We paid for delivery and installation. The fridge was delivered last summer to a holiday home in Carbis Bay. When we arrived from the states in late May we noticed that the fridge did not have the handles that it is supposed to have. EVERYONE associated with this screw-up has been completely unhelpful. Because it is slightly more than a year they completely disown any responsibility even though this is obviously their screw-up. Finally had to order handles from a place called Partsmaster at a princely sum but they did not come with the SCREWS necessary. So more calls to Curry's, and some group that supposedly handles their repairs (BUT ONLY FOR THE FIRST YEAR AGAIN!) After being put on hold for 10 minutes got some guy who could barely speak English. FINALLY after much back and forth he came up with the type of screw needed (or so he claims) When I asked him how to obtain these screws he told me to go to B&Q. Obviously just a ploy to get me off the phone. He also had the audacity to blame me for the fact that the lack of handles had not been noticed by the person who accepted delivery! Note: this was a holiday home guest who did us a favor by accepting delivery---not their job to insure all the parts had been properly installed. When I told him this, he HUNG UP ON ME!!! The fridge itself is satisfactory (albeit without handles) But do keep in mind that should you have any problems even if it is day 366 after purchase, you will be on your own!!!

Buys an xbox, hardly uses it. notices it has started to make an electrical buzz even when in stand by. contacts currys to get it repaired under the consumer rights act, they tell me to call a premium number??? i tell them i cannot, they tell me they cant repair it as its outside warranty. I tell them i wanted it repaired under the consumer rights act, they are misleading and breaking the law doing so. AVOID CURRYS use amazon, always top customer support.

terrible service trying to buy a fridge freezer I have ordered lots of things over the years from curry's this time around its been dismal never ever again, from the customer service, their website not working, and now letting us know the morning of our fridge delivery its going to take another three days NOT GOOD ENOUGH we should of gone to John Lewis. I bought a gift card for the value of £700 in store with cash so we could browse fridge freezers at home, I bought a tv and with a extra charge to have fridge fitted '£40' we were told in store it was £25 but never mind, anyway I used my gift card total came to £903 so there was a extra amount to pay , however when it came to using my debit card their website would not process my card or my PayPal details so I was left with no choice but to start the order again, however once we got to the gift card payment option it had disabled the £700 for 24 hours I was unapologetically told online chat with customer services, as we were desperate for the fridge, I ended up buying the entire lot on my debit card with the view they would refund the gift card it being their fault .... a long long long wait on the phone to customer services line told me they don't refund gift cards, instead they will cancel the order with the view that when the amount went back on the gift card I could start over however I was advised to order it in store, obviously they have no faith in their own website either, reluctantly I agreed by now this entire trying to order a fridge online saga had gone on in total for 35 minutes, now I was told they cant cancel order as their systems were playing up ring back tomorrow, I then hung up I was that annoyed. Next day my partner rang them to confirm the delivery for Sunday this was Saturday, I got a text saying from 9 till 1pm, come 8 am Sunday, I get a phone call to say its not in the warehouse some dribble like that and it wont come till Wednesday... RIDICULOUS please if your reading this GO TO JOHN LEWIS it may cost slightly more however the customer service & professionalism pays for its self , unlike these clowns...

Currys Norwich seems to have reneged on its obligations as a retailer. My elderly neighbour bought an electric double oven cooker at the end of May. The small oven doesn't work. She notified Currys about this problem almost immediately. It seems they have refused to replace it, apparently telling her that "it's too late", which cannot be true when she'd had the cooker for less than a week at the time. She's on her own dealing with this and because she is finding it very stressful has decided to accept the faulty cooker. That concerns me because I wonder what else could go wrong with it. I feel that Currys Norwich is taking advantage of a vulnerable person. I want to let potential customers know about this shoddy service so they can buy from a more reliable and honest trader. Based on the way Currys has reportedly dealt with this matter, I wouldn't even give it one star if that were possible.

Visited Stockport Peel Centre today to get an Ipad. We knew what we wanted. Harry 41 was our sales adviser. He went off to check the stock and luckily there was 1 available in the colour we wanted. We had got printed vouchers to pay which meant Harry had to load them onto a gift card for the transaction on a 2nd till to enable them to go through - a bit of a faff really for him to have to do, making sure another sales adviser didn't use the other which still had our transaction on it. But anyway he did it quickly and easily. He mentioned the Customer Support Agreement which was free for the first month so we decided to take up that deal. Harry answered a couple of questions on the set up the Ipad so we felt happy enough to go home and get started with it, which we have done no problem. Job done - 2 happy customers. Thanks Harry!

What an experience!!! We have been paying £8.99 for over 8 years for a cover plan for our laptop, which has been accidentally damaged. We have just found out that the damage “exceeds what the technician would expect” and damaged laptop has been returned to us!!! Almost £1000 spent on a monthly plan plus the price of the laptop!! leaving us with even more to be spent on a new laptop WHICH DEFINITELY WILL NOT BE IN CURRYS!!

Currys PC world won't replace TV that they have damaged – Cover plan Currys Pc World – Team know How /Cover plan – Buyers be aware – my experience – unfair practices! Outcome /facts • TV collected for repair for technical fault , repair returned , however TV damaged from drop in transit leaving cracked screen and bent frame surround + screen was covered in scratches and stains , not new parts . • Team know how refused to replace even though they damaged the TV and insisted that they repair covered in terms and conditions. No terms covered the eventuality that Currys/PC world had damaged customers goods in transit so default terms would be to repair.

Appaling customer service! Purchased a product which developed a fault (it happens with electronics). Contacted the manufacturer and spent a whole month trying to convince them that it was faulty. Eventually they agreed for me to contact the retailer (Currys) for a warranty exchange. I thought finally! in a few days I will get a new one (wrong!). Nearly two months later, I still haven't received my replacement. Lots of inaccurate information provided and false promises. Imagine the amount of time I have wasted dealing with this incompetent bunch. I felt like asking for a refund but the product was purchased when it was on offer so I won't be able to get it at the same price plus, after having spent 3 months trying to get it sorted, I feel like I do want a replacement at the same price. I have spent thousands of pounds at Currys in the past but needless to say, I will never EVER spend a single penny with them. Disgusting!

Paid £199 for a hoover and opted to have it delivered which they stars would be within 2 days. 11 days later and absolutely no correspondence from them I have not recieved the item. I called customer services and am being refused a refund at this stage even though they admitted that the tracking still shows the item with delivery company. I have paid for goods and they are aware they have not given me the good and refused a refund. Fraud.

I purchased an oven from Currys (online) and chose to add the following service for £15: 'Remove and recycle your old appliance To save you the hassle, when we deliver we can take away and recycle your old appliance, along with any packaging your new one comes in. Just add Let’s recycle on the Basket page, charge applies.' The bottom of my invoice also stated: 'What will be done for you? We’ll unpack your product and dispose of the packaging for you. Before we leave, we'll make sure you're happy with the work we have done.' The delivery staff did take our old appliance, however they refused to take the packaging from the new one - as promised on Curry's website and confirmed on my invoice. I thought Curry's would be keen to rectify this ... I was wrong. I phoned their Customer Service Helpline and was put on hold, then cut-off. Several emails later, Curry's promised to refund the £15 ... this never materialised. When I got back in touch to query this I was told: 'Removal of your new item is part of the installation service and looking into our system I can confirm that you only requested a Remove and recycle your old appliance and not the installation service. Our back office team have refused the refund of the £15 Remove and recycle your old appliance fee due to these grounds.' This is clearly a case of misselling. Both their website and their invoices are evidence of this. When I got back in touch (again) I was told that they'd send a delivery team to collect the packaging - 20 days after they should have taken it. This is clearly not practical or acceptable - but they are still refusing to refund the £15. PLEASE, if you value honest selling and good customer service, AVOID purchasing from Currys.

We bought a cooker from currys pc world delivered today few scratches told the driver to take it back. I was showed at what he did, I spat on top and rubbed it with his t shirt how disgusting. I said that is unhygienic what you have just done, he said sorry no scratches and spat again. The other delivery chap just looked at me and shook his head and said sorry. This is very bad if only he would of asked for a cloth. Not spread germs from his mouth. I hope head office does something about this. This is dam disgraceful and filth

I had a washing machine delivered from the High Wycombe store. The delivery company caused hundreds of pounds worth of damage to my kitchen floor, and I now can’t get any response from Curry’s customer service in regards compensation. I will never use Curry’s again.
