If i could give 0 stars i would. I gave the TV to them 2 weeks ago. They brought it in 1 week after and it was returned with a broken screen as well as missing the legs of the TV. Then they took it in again for construction and repairing, a week has passed again. They messaged that it was meant to arrive today. In the first call they said it was on its way, after the delivery time had passed i called again and they said it wasn't in the safety pack so they couldn't send it now its delayed for another 2 days. Everytime i called there is a new lie told. For 16 days we have been waiting for a TV. Not professional at all. Due to this we will not be purchasing from Currys anymore. Shame on Currys.

On 28/10/2024 We bought a phone at the Curries store £153.00 , paid by cash. It was in Taunton. We came to this town for work for one week only. Because they didn’t have it in stock, we arranged the delivery to the store. The delivery was running late and we had to cancel it. When we came to the shop to cancel and get the money back, they offered a gift card for this amount instead of cash. When we came back home we tried to order this phone online. When we tried to purchase the item, it has showed that there is only 1p on this gift card. So we tried to contact customer service, they said we need to go back to the store which was 3 hours away from the place we live. We went there. In store they said we have to contact the customer service. So since that time we tried to call around 20 times now. Every time we call them, they pretend to open a new case and promise to put the money back on the card in 72 hours time. It’s never ending process. So we have been advised to contact the main manager and make an official complaint. And again we have heard only promises. We don’t know what else we can do to sort this problem out and also would like to ask where else could we seek for help. This was one of the worst purchased we have ever done and also worst in-store customer service where the workers did not even want to make a call for us to at least try and help us a little bit. Would not recommend Curries or their gift card services in particular.

Bought an LG OLED TV from Currys yesterday. It will be the last thing I ever buy from them. They are serial liars - why? 1) They wont honour their 7 day price match guarantee. I found that LG.com/UK where offering the TV for £707 vs £809(Currys). Ring up customer services on the phone they said they wont match a manufacturer (even one's that have a retail website like LG). Show me where it says that here: https://www.currys.co.uk/services/shopping-with-us/price-promise.html. However, if you go on webchat and say you are going to buy online from Curry's they will issue a code to price match - I have a code to get £134.90 off Curry's list price they generated today via web chat. Wow!. So they have a different system in store vs online for Currys, which they do not advertise anywhere. If you then go into a store with this evidence (e.g Guildford Currys) the manager there will tell you they don't price match manufacturers, which they do. They refuse the web chat evidence saying that is for online purchases at Currys and advise you bring it back to get a refund and then order it again. Worst customer service I've ever seen. I am going to be a walking talking piece of bad press for that company in perpetuity. Little tip for everyone who reads this: If you want an LG OLED42C44LA Currys say 10% off (£899 to £809). If you go to www.lg.com/uk/tvs-soundbars/oled-evo/oled42c44la/ they are selling for £849 but if you sign up for free on LG website (just provide your emai) you will get £41.60 off for signing up and £83.20 off with the 10% offer they have (TVEXTRA10) taking their price to £707.22 (vs Currys £809). Also LG will give you a 5 year manufactures guarantee, which you will get a document for telling you that you have a guarantee and it will detail what is included/excluded.......you know like a reputable company would do not a crooked firm like Curry's. 2) On the website Currys say the TV has a 5 year guarantee. This is really 1yr (first yr) LG and 4 yrs with themselves. The problem: they give you NO guarantee documentation in store, and when you ask them about it online they try and link you to the Care & Repair package you have to pay for. When you speak to them on the phone they admit it is a 1 year manufacturer and 4 years with them. When you ask for the documentation they said they don't provide it anymore. When you query what is included/excluded they wont provide it over the phone either. So I have no idea what is included/excluded in their guarantee, no evidence it existed other than their webpage, and I guess their word which I do not believe carries any weight based on what I have seen! If you don't go to LG then go to Richer Sounds (6 year warranty) or John Lewis who are more reliable, trustworthy and reputable companies based on past & present experience. Never order an appliance from Curry’s the delivery process is terrible!! The drivers are rude treat your purchase with no care or attention!!! as a result ours got damaged!!! as the drivers were obviously in a rush!! a delivery for a replacement was rescheduled but unfortunately it was the same delivery driver so he didn’t even get out the lorry just drove off with our replacement as he had a bad experience the last time he delivered our appliance!!! Therefore it was taken back to the depot and we rescheduled a delivery which was for today 20/01/2025 but the depot cancelled our replacement and sold our appliance and has refused to deliver a replacement to us!! We have been told we will not get a replacement only a manual collection for our damaged appliance and a refund!!! Which clearly won’t work!!! Why a replacement cannot be delivered with a manual collection is ridiculous !!! I forgot to mention Curry's customer service!! Well there’s not enough room here to disclose how unprofessional they are utterly useless!!! With loss of earnings and alike I have decided to go to a small claims court!!

Paid for mobile phone. Didn't recive it phoned numbers of times said it had been scanned 5 times at dpd .cancelled it 5 times .no refund and keep getting different answers every time .they will not send me any emails for evidence. This is making me ill .now they say there is 2 phones on systom .what is going on .what has happened 😡😡

Since I wouldn't mind administering legality myself, I wish I could challenge these deceitful individuals. I'm humbled by TheresachinRecovery INC and thank God for it as I reflect on what transpired. Bought Indesit Washer and Bosch F/Freezer from Currys Winterstoke Rd Bristol 22nd August. Took out £180.00 care and Repair insurance! No problems with delivery on washer but F/Freezer delivery problems galour! Heard nothing from Currys 're delivery by 5th September phoned them to ask when it would arrive. Over next 8 days received 8 texts from Currys saying my delivery would be next day! IT NEVER ARRIVED so I cancelled my order on 13/9. Refund at shop no quibble. However I also wanted a refund for my Care and Repair policy I'd taken out. Filled the online link to cancel both policies for Washer and F/Freezer. Got a reply to say Washer policy had been cancelled! No mention of F/Freezer policy. Rec'd cheque from Currys for £95 BUT AM STILL OWED £85. I have telephoned, emailed, I have sent "signed for mail" with photocopies of both policies (24/9 signed for by Potts) but NO response what so ever, and no money WHICH I AM STILL OWED! PLEASE, Can someone check this out and advise what is going on and when I am likely to receive my balance? Many thanks

The place to go for cheap goods if you can’t be bothered going elsewhere. None of its stuff is much good like the fridge-freezer I bought last year, which the service man has been out to twice. It was sold as a frost-free one but the repair man believes that it isn’t. Misrepresentation springs to mind. The delivery men didn’t even bother unpacking it, despite what it says in the brief, and made sure they had all the parts for the one I wanted disposing of so I reckon they were going to flog it somewhere. I have invited the company to correct the process so we will see what happens. In fact most of the stuff I’ve bought here had problems in one form or another. A few years back it lost something that had been left in for repair and I had to fight to get the cost of a replacement back. An ex-member of staff says that they have mostly obsolete stock that suppliers just want rid of. The price match it did some years ago was a gimmick as it had changed the model numbers so you couldn’t qualify for the difference. The stores are handy for window shopping I suppose and then buy on-line somewhere else.

CURRYS CON. Ordered a laptop with the specific and catagoric requirement for a LAN socket. Acer Aspire. Ashfird Kent store. They had one on display with a LAN but none in stock. They found me same model on their system with slightly better spec confirming LAN. Picture also showed LAN. Spec stated LAN. Independent Website shiws LAN. I WAS messed around over in store delivery 4 times and thus in the store many times. I repeatedly checked the spec with various people. It arrived last Saturday but they did not botber to call me. I went to store and after ages they dug it out. I again checked that it had LAN. I took the item home to disciver no LAN PORT. They lied. Immediately returned. I was refunded but they made no attempt to find a resolution and had a don't give a damn attitude. I was later messed around with customer service failings...no proper contact details, no emails no direct numbers. I was finally contacted by a lady bamed Leah or something similar whi promised to get the area head office on to it and complaint v store manager. I have heard nout. I now have no Laptop, have wasted 2 weeks of my time and have sprnt a fortune on petrol.

I had a very negative experience with Currys and felt completely misled by their shipping process. When I placed my order, I was led to believe that my item would be delivered the next day. This expectation was set by the information provided during the purchase process. However, when I checked the status of my order, I noticed that it only said "Estimated" delivery date. This was the first indication that things might not go as smoothly as promised. The frustration only grew when I received the order confirmation email. To my surprise, there was no mention of a specific delivery timeframe. It left me feeling uncertain and anxious about when my item would actually arrive. This lack of clear communication is simply unacceptable for a company of Currys' stature. What exacerbates the issue further is the process of selecting a delivery date during the checkout. Why ask customers to choose a delivery date if it means nothing in the end? In my case, the item was delivered three days after the date I had selected. This discrepancy between the promised and actual delivery dates is highly misleading and shows a lack of respect for the customer's time and planning. Overall, my experience with Currys has been extremely disappointing. The misleading information about delivery times, coupled with poor communication, has left me feeling frustrated and undervalued as a customer. I expected better from a company like Currys and hope they take steps to improve their service and communication to prevent others from having a similar experience.

I bought one of the most expensive gaming laptops from Birstall for my son as he was going into college for a course related to gaming/cyber security. This cost me over £2200. I have been having issues since day one and every time i go in the engineers/ staff are unable to detect any faults. I have shown evidence of the issues however they are so unprofessional and haven't replaced or refunded or provided any support. They have almost made out as if we are lying about the whole situation! This has been going on for months and their outcome is "we are sorry we cannot do anything as we cannot detect and issues/fault!!" So why have i been having issues since i have bought the laptop? very upset and unsatisfied. The extra warranty's that we pay for are a waste of money as well!! Dont think il ever shop at Currys again!

Not happy at ALL, ordered new tv arrived faulty and after 3 days phoned currys to report faulty item spoken to diffrent person being transferred from department to department being ignore and after 2 hours lady hang up on me, will never buy again, also I did have care and repair plan, my case is still not resolved. Customer service was not good as well in resolving my issue.
