DOMYOS : Request n° 275159. We seem to have been fobbed off/ignored.We bought a running machine 3 months ago from your Warrington store, it has broken. We have been waiting for over 2 months for a repair or replacement. A technician came to our house and left, saying he did not have parts 3 WEEKS ago! Now, despite several emails we are being ignored. This is VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. The machine was over £500 and we cannot use it or move it. Please get on this today. DOMYOS : Request n° 275159.

Utterly pathetic. Purchased online for someone else to collect from store. Details of who is collecting the item submitted as part of the order. Order confirmation email then states the card used to make the purchase will be required. Rang store (five times) to query this - the phone line simply doesn’t work. Rang customer services (twice) to query this - they can’t hear you! No one else I’ve phoned has had difficulty hearing me! Emailed customer services and they chose to ignore the query and issues with phone numbers. Their bright idea is for me to call customer services!! It would also be helpful if an order placed in an English store had English speaking customer support. Then again their website claims they’re going to open more ‘countries’ so what chance have you got! Rating them woeful would be generous.

I Purchased Domyos T520A Treadmill on 12th Feb 2018 from Decathlon Store at "Motera (City : Ahmedabad, State : Gujarat, Country : India) for 39, 999 and 400Rs delivery charge, Total : 40, 400 Rs. Bill/Order No : 70144801/0003323, Decathlon ID :[protected]. It was delivered and Installed Next week around 20th FeB 2018. I used it the next day and it stopped Powering on when I paused it. I called Decathlon aftersales service Representative Abhijeet and he sent a Repair Tech who identified There is Power issue with the Treadmill and advised Abhijeet(decathlon rep) to replace the Treadmill. There is a dent on the body part as well. Abhijeet informed me that they will replace treadmill next day. But on the next day he called and said they are going to repair it. The same Repair tech who advised to get it replaced was forced to repair it. I encountered the same problem few days back. I called abhijeet but he did not bother to listen to problems I am facing this time and was rude. He tried to monopolize the conversation and I had to disconnect call as he was not even ready to listen to the issue. Apart from the power issue, treadmill hits the ground with a bang sound when I lift it down, it takes forever to show the Pulse which should not take more that 5 secs. At times I feel it is a little shaky while walking/jogging. My dad is 70years old and have a heavy body. He is using it for walking and I cant take a risk of repairing it one more time and be doubtful that this problem will reoccur. At his age he will not recover if he encounters bone or head injury if treadmill looses power suddenly while he is working out. Neither abhijeet nor Decathlon Motera branch gives a damn about safety of our lives and I have sent a complaint to Domyos(Treadmill manufacturer) as well with No response. I am well within 90 days of Store Return policy to get the product replaced or get the money back but Decathlon does not give a damn about it. They will not replace a product which is defective from Day 1. What a pathetic Post sales service. I feel like I have been looted by White Color thieves wearing Suit and Tie and speaking fluent English working for Gang Decathlon. Decathlon Website shows the 90 Days return or exchange policy : In store warranty(Read section "RETURN AND EXCHANGE POLICY FOR PRODUCT(s) PURCHASED AT STORE") : https://www.decathlon.in/c/63-return-exchange Read Section "Replacement Policy" : https://www.decathlon.in/c/3-terms-and-conditions-of-use Product Details : https://www.domyos.in/t520a-treadmill-id_8491333 I sent an complaint email to Treadmill Manufacturer Domyos : https://www.domyos.in/contact I have attached the pictures of my Treadmill when Repair tech opened the machine for repair and picture of dent on the body part where there is motor underneath it. I am done dealing with Decathlon and need my full money back including delivery charges.

Just sat in all day waiting for an urgent order.... then at 5.25pm I get a text saying it will not be arriving. I paid extra for a next day delivery as the item was needed urgently. Terrible.

Went through your website to ask/complain about a service. That was two weeks ago, still no reply. If that is how you value your costumers then thank you will use another shop.

Worst delivery services I have ever experienced Only bought 2 times in the last month from decathlon through the online and home delivery service. First order did not arrive in full (despite all products showing as "in stock" on the website and in order confirmation email) and had to contact them to get it delivered properly. No excuses offered, they just sent the missing item a few days later (lucky I was not in a hurry). 2nd delivery just arrived today and what a surprise, this time they managed to send me stuff I did not order at all and therefore I have yet to receive what I really ordered (only 4 items!). Therefore would discourage everyone to use their online store as it is just a shame !!! Products are generally ok but not worth the effort to go through this waste of time when you can find a lot of other similar products in the market and easily accessible.

ORDER PLACED ON LINE NEVER ARRIVED.... NO CUSTOMER SERVICE NUMBER TO CALL OR EMAIL ADDRESS YOU HAVE TO FILL OUT THE PRE-OFFERED ON LINE FORM NO COMPLAINTS FACILITY. ARRIVED AT STORE TO COLLECT ITEMS WHICH WERE ADVISED WOULD ARRIVE ON THE DATE ONLY TO FIND THEY HADN'T ARRIVED..... WAITED FOR DELIVERY TO ARRIVE IN STORE FOR THAT DAY AND NOTHING. NO WORDS FROM DECATHLON APOLOGY OR EMAIL TO ADVISE THAT THE ITEMS WOULD NOT ARRIVE. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

I got my bike repaired recently including a full safety checkup at Decathlon in Surrey Quays. After that the bike kept making strange noises and the chain would come off frequently. I contacted customer services and they offered me a new bike however I just wanted information of whether I would be able to go to the store and get my bike fixed free of charge before i proceeded any further. And I thought it couldn't get any worse today as I was riding my bike, it made a loud noise and started to become hard to pedal. When I got off I noticed taht the wheel eas broken anf it was hangung by the what ot was being supported by. I immediately went to Decathlon bike repair workshop and they said that they couldn't do anything because it wasn't anything to do with them as the axle is broken. But the axle can it be broken by a very very hard hit which didn't happen to me. All they could do was confirm that the axle was broken and they refused to fix it. Obviously I contacted customer services again to tell them about the situation and they said they the workshop gives the final say and nothing could be done. I am extremely disappointed with them. They have been my no.1 store to go to for the last 2 yrs. I spent £125 just to get my bike completely broken. I don't think I'll ever step inside there again.

Can Decathlon clothes catch on fire? I went to Decathlon Rama 4 (Bangkok) today to buy children clothes, but was asked to provide my email or phone number. I refused and was told that I was not allowed to buy the clothes without providing my email or number. I asked to speak with the manager (his name is Vyi). Below is more or less the discussion we had: Vyi: We need your email or phone number for your safety. We need to be able to contact you if there is a problem with the product. Me: But other companies just release a public notice and it is all good. Vyi: No we want to be able to call you, for your safety. Me: Do not worry, I will assume the risks. By not giving my email or number, I discharge Decathlon from any responsibility. It is ok. I will take the risk. These are only clothes. Vyi: No we cannot sell it to you. We want to make sure you are safe. Your safety comes first. Me: But I am not buying a treadmill or a bike; I am buying 2 sweaters, 2 pairs of glove and 4 tuques. What are the risks with these products? Vyi: We do not know. There may be some risks. In case the product catch on fire. Me: Is there a risk that the tuques or the gloves will catch on fire? Vyi : We do not know what could happened. Me: You are telling me that some of Decathlon's clothes may be dangerous? What are the risks? When was the last time you had to call clients because a piece of clothes was dangerous? Vyi: We had to call clients because some scooters had problems with a handle. But not for clothes. Me: Then waive the email/phone requirement for clothes. Vyi: No we cannot. It is the store policy. Me: Can you call your manager? Vyi: He will tell you the same thing. Me: Are you sure you do not want to call him and check if he can waive the requirement when we buy clothes. Perhaps you want to tell him that I will write a review reporting that you told me that some clothes may catch on fire or may be dangerous. He eventually called his manager Anton but told me Anton was not available. I eventually left the store without having purchase anything. I should have added that the clothes were for children refugee in Mae Sot and that I would never be able to warn the children anyway should the products be found dangerous. Leaving the store empty hand has not frustrated me so much because I am now wondering whether the clothes can actually catch on fire!!! However, I am frustrated for having wasted my time: When I entered the store, I could not anticipated that I would have to give my email or number to be allowed to buy. This is not a common practice and there should be a warning sign at the entrance of the store, so people do not loose their time shopping for 40 minutes to be told at the counter that they cannot buy. This is not professional and should be almost consider as false representation (luring clients into a store and forcing them to provide email or phone for the purchase to be completed). Also, this policy is not for my safety, it is for Decathlon ’s safety: people will give false emails and Decathlon will be able to claim having try to contact all clients to warn them. Also, I suspect that the policy is just a strategy to avoid having to release a public notice about a dangerous product (keeping it discreet so Decathlon ’s reputation is not damaged by a bad product). Decathlon, you need to change this policy. It is counter productive for your reputation.

I received a faulty oxelo town 9 scooter with the front wheel being off to the right about 20 degrees from handlebar. It's absolutely useless. I send decathlon a picture of it and they apologized for sending me a faulty item but they cannot offer me a refund because I currently live abroad. They also refused to pay the shipping cost from where I live in order to arrange an exchange. I'm so disappointed with decathlon UK because this item was supposed to have passed some quality control...Now I got stuck with a scooter I cannot ride... Thank's a lot Decathlon UK...

This is only the second time I have ordered something with Decathlon and I have had the same problem both times. My order turned up on the day they said it would but it was totally the wrong order. I had paid for Dhl delivery as I needed to get it fast- it was clearly someone elses package. I emailed straight away and had to email 3 times before I found a phone number (there are no numbers on the web site) to call them 5 days later as I had heard nothing. the person I spoke to said I could have my order in 4-5 days. I opted for the money back, she then asked if I could send the package back. Incredible!!! i will never order anything from them again and I would advise anyone else to do the same. What a total waste of time.

I bought a new shimano sora crankset in store and also paid for the installation, a few days later the pedals started to get lose and fell off the crank. When I came back to Decathlon Surrey Quays the manager refused the replacement or refund for the defective part saying it could've been my fault. Costumer service in store absolutely despicable. I had to contact costumer service by phone to and say I'd take legal action if the broken part is not replaced or refunded, horrible experience!

Placed an order for 2 diving delayed surface marker bouys. Was supposed to arrive 5 July. Rang customer service to be told only one item had arrived and the other still in France. Then they told me it was in the warehouse and would be delivered the next day. Rang to confirm delivery but told still not available till pos Friday 7 July. Spoken with 2 different people both not very helpful. Ask to speak with a manager but one person said no manager was working in that department and the other said manager was unavailable to speak on the phone. I then asked for a manager number at head office but again this was refused. I go on holiday next week and these items are a safety critical piece of equipment for scuba diving at sea. Won't be very pleased if they don't arrive. And I will be posting bad reviews in as many places on social media as I can all about the poor customer service decathlon have.
