Sent in my laptop for out of warranty repairs (a single key was broken and all online manufacturers were out of stock). Took them 4 weeks and they charged me $200+ and sent me back a laptop with no battery.

I have used HP, Compaq, Asus, Lenovo but never had bad experiences like Dell. Whether it’s my office laptop or my personal laptop, Dell laptops are so bad in performance and speed. Would never buy Dell laptops in my life nor recommend anyone!! It’s very frustrating as a customer. From first month itself I struggled to use it properly!!

Had purchased a Dell XPS 15 9570 back in 2018 during launch. Paid over USD 3500 for it from Dell US and they shipped it to me in Abu Dhabi, UAE. After 3 years of moderate use, on August 27, 2018, one fine morning, the laptop will no longer even power on. Have tried holding down power button for 8 seconds and other solutions provided online by other customers, but still no luck. I am unable to contact Dell and their website says they cannot provide international support. So am I just supposed to throw such an expensive laptop away after merely 3 years of use? Why even sell a product in some country if you are not going to provide any support there and customers need to reach out to US for all support. I would have rated this company 0/5 stars if that was an option.

I absolutely hated this computer with all heart and soul. It deserves a -1000000000000000/10. As you can tell I have had a terrible experience. I have 101 reasons why I hate it so much. There was always a problem with it, it bugs constantly, battery dies in 5 secs (doesn't last a full day). I've had this cumputer for 2 years and it's falling appart. It make an unpleasant loud noise all the time like a vaccum cleaner. I've had to repear the key board because a letter fell out. The screen constantly gets detatched from the computer. Videos on example youtube, load all the time and don't work. Settings are supper unclear and i can never fix a problem on it. I have ask for help in the past but none of the problems can be fixed even by a specilist. This makes it difficult to work on it and do my school work.I would get a mac if I didn't have to use it for school. It is even more expensive than a mac, I would never spend 3,000 dollards on this not even a cent. There are many times where I wanted to trough it out the widow. If I had an essay on how much I hate this computer I'd get an A+++.Just be smart and don't waste your money on this trash. Go get yourself something better queen!

If I could give zero I would. Dell are a very unpleasant unreasonable company to be avoided like the plague. I purchased a laptop for £1100 from them which I discussed with a "sales assistant". I asked for a 14" screen minimum. It arrived and was 12". I am told AFTER THE EVENT that screens are measured DIAGONALLY being a user and not knowing the way this is done I feel that it would be prudent to discuss that with a potential customer so they are aware. Anyway they now point blank refuse to refund me or accept a return as their small print explains they apparently do not give refunds to business customers. So be aware that if you buy from them it's at your risk all staff are reading from a script from a call centre in India and no one is willing to help. A company that deserve to go bankrupt in my view. Disgusting way to treat customers. I am now taking steps to resolve this through my credit card company. What a petty, nasty attitude and waste of time and energy.

Purchased an Alienware m17 R3 Gaming Laptop. After over a week of no correspondence from Dell I contacted the customer service line and was informed that the product had reached the ‘end of its life’, that my order had been cancelled and I would have to contact my bank to release payment. Dell failed to notify me of the cancellation. Upon checking the Dell website to check if the product had been taken down, I discovered that the price had risen to £2799 (almost £1000 more), despite the fact that the discount was still valid for over a month. As a regular customer of Dell I find this to be extremely insulting and in violation of my consumer rights, which stipulate that a company cannot cancel an order once paid for that item. Contacted Citizens Advice. Not worth your time or money.

I was supposed to receive a call from a technician to guide me through Windows reinstall and data retrieval. After four days there has been no call. When I try to contact Tech Support, I get transferred to many different departments and none of those transfers is the right one. I'd rather give them a 0, but that was not an option.

Dell is the worst support experience I have ever had. Several weeks of no laptop. Sent to repair depot. Charged for a repair that did not work. No one at Dell will refund money for failed repair. If you are considering buying a Dell - PLEASE DO NOT. Hope this helps prevent someone from having another horrible experience from one of the worst companies I have dealt with.

Purchased a dell laptop (hardly used) Laptop under warranty and I called to find out why it was so slow India tech kept me on phone over 1 hour Told me that software was problem and not hardware I hired office computer tech (company) and within 2 minutes of remote access told me that the hard drive was bad I paid him $155 to replace hard drive I called Dell to reload my Microsoft Office - they refused unless I paid them more money I would never buy another Dell computer again Outsourcing their tech to India and have their technicians be so incompetent and even argue with me on the phone is unacceptable Elaine

My Dell battery charger was not working. I could not find a replacement in any brick and mortar store. I bought a universal charger at Best Buy but it did not work with my laptop. I was in desperate need for my laptop for business. I ordered a replacement on August 6 directly from Dell and paid $20 dollars for express shipping and my delivery date was set for 8/10 but then I got an email saying it would be delayed and would receive it on 8/11 and then another email the next day saying it was delayed again and new delivery day was scheduled for 8/12. I tried calling the phone number on the email but I got a voicemail saying that the office was closed due to the holiday. What holiday?! I reached out to Dell on Facebook messenger and explained I was upset with the delay and not happy with paying an additional $20 for express delivery. I was then told that express is based on the date it is placed in the mail and not on the date I placed my order. I explained again that when I placed my order I was quoted a delivery date of 8/10. I was then told that if it was delayed it is because it is out of stock. So if it was out of stock why wasn’t I informed of this when I first placed my order and why am I being told I was be receiving it on 8 /12 now if it is out of stock.

If I could give a negative number, I would. I used to read people use that and shake my head at the stupidity of that response. Sadly, Dell showed me how negative values actually apply. Here is our case: we have dell Premium Support Plus as we work in healthcare and have confidential information. When a computer failed due to the system hardware, we were shipped a replacement. They said that we have to return the original. We stated we cannot return the hard drive because of privacy concerns. They said, ok, with Premium Support Plus, you simply purchase the hard drive. This is where the worst customer service ever comes into place. I followed the directions, spoke with someone who was challenged with the english language. The outcome, can't keep the hard drive. Went into full explanation mode. Oh, yes you can, but you need to talk to this department. Onto the next department, repeat performance of everything including the "have to talk to another department". Did this a few more times until someone said, I needed to speak with the Out of Plan Support. I don't know why, I simply wanted to pay for the drive. Ok, scheduled a time at their request as fits their schedule. No call, no email. So, called Customer Service again (they really should rename the department to the Round and Round Service as I have much more respect for Customer Service folks.) and got the same, need to speak with Out of Plan. Oh, forgot to mention, you can't call Out of Plan department directly. They must call you. Now that's Customer Service! Let us make it inconvenient for you! I have no outcome yet because I need to wait on Dell Out of Plan to call. When? No idea. Whenever they feel like it. Scheduling time doesn't seem to matter to them. Who suffers? My employees, who are trying to send back the bad computer timely, and simply want to put this to rest.

Please stay away from Dell. I have terrible experience with DEll Customer Care. I have purchase laptop over 2 months ago. I was waiting for one month and finely received laptop but with wrong CPU (much more chipper CPU that I have ordered and pay money for). I contacted Dell Customer Care and they issued RMA and sent me replacement laptop. Replacement laptop has wrong CPU again. I spent days dealing with Customer support trying to explain my issue and DELL does want to resolve it. DELL suggests to cancel this order and buy it again but price went up a lot (almost $700) for the same configuration. I am very frustrated with Dell Customer Care and suggest everybody to avoid it if possible. There are a lot of other products on markets that competes with Dell

Long time Dell customer, My latest Inspiron worked great the first years, then 1 month a key started not working (required more force than the others to work) then 2, 3, 4 etc... I contacted Dell and they told me $400 to replace the keyboard, which is about half what I paid for it to begin with. I have a 10 year old dell that the keys work better than this one. Also nothing has been spilled on it, really disapointed with Dell quality, they're prices go up and quality goes down.

Dealing with Dell's customer service is the worst experience ever. I ordered an Alienware laptop with a couple of accessories; credit card problems, hard time communicating in english, denied orders, hours on the phone with customer service, at least ten calls, couldn't get my Dell reward points, ... stress, stress, stress. I will spare all the details. NEVER order from Dell!

Bought a new 15 inch XPS. Paid for upgraded warranty with 2-day on-site repair. Had keyboard issues after 2.5 months. Dell kept saying the tech was trying to call me for 7 days and left me voicemails. I got no calls on two numbers I gave them. I have had 7 Dell laptops over the years. Never again will I buy from Dell.

I really like the Dell Inspiron 7506 laptop, I have had it for 5 months. It is very fast to load web pages. My only complaint is the key board. I hate the white backlit letters. They are almost impossible to see. I have to try to shade the keyboard whike using. This is only good at night with the room lights turned off. Wish I would have known this prior to purchasing.
