Horrible customer service! I custom ordered a PC. It was delivered a week late and had the wrong hard drive. I immediately contacted Dell. It took 2 days to get a response, then it was transferred to multiple people. After speaking with a manager I was told that the best they could do was have me return it, wait 72 hours for return to be processed, then start the ordering process over again. Why would I ever trust them to get it right the 2nd time, especially considering how difficult and unwilling to help they were with this problem. I can only imagine if I had a problem with it, after it was installed, how hard it would be to get assistance.

Horrible customer service. Was sold a defective laptop and was very difficult to get it replaced. Dealing with their customer service is a nightmare! Refuse to ever purchase from them again.

I have been buying Dell computers since windows 95 and this time I got really burned .. My old one broke down and I was not able to go on my email to confirm my order so I went a head and placed one with 16 GB of ram .. After dealing with Fedex witch is another story I received my tower with only 8GB of ram . I have tried to contact them to remedy the problem but only get transferred to different departments .. I ould give them 0 stars if i could.. #neverbuyadellagain

EVERSYTHING went wrong from the product to the technical assistance - 3 month to wait to receive a laptop that worked for one a week. Customer relation is just miserable. Shame on you DELL

I ordered Dell laptop; I have always ordered Dell laptops and had no problems until last week. I received an email from Dell with the delivery date and FedEx tracking number. I stayed home all day for 2 days waiting for my package (which required a signature). No package. I checked the fedex website in the wee hours of the morning and was shocked to see that FedEx had delivered my laptop to someone unknown to me and not a resident of my complex. I immediately called Dell. Basically, they are requiring me to do their work! Contact FedEx which I did and started an investigation. Then they wanted me to file a police report. For what? Dell and FedEx had a contract. Why doesn't Dell deal with FedEx. FedEx failed to honor the contract by not delivering the product to the customer and obtaining that customer's signature. And they will not replace my computer unless I file a police report saying the package was stolen from my property. I don't even know if it ever was on my property since the person who signed for the package does not reside in my building!

Ordered a 2500.00 Alienware was sent email that order was received and being built and given a delivery date. Come to find dell cancelled order because of lack of verification whatever that is. When I called was on phone for 2 hours And talked to 6 people with no resolution it’s like they didn’t want my business. When I asked to talk to a supervisor to file a complaint line went dead, been dell customer for 15 years but no more.

As a lot of people, I would love to give 0 stars to them. I bought a top of the line XPS 13" Developers Edition (Ubuntu). I spent top euros on a machine, and thought that 1400 euros for the Dell would give me more power than 2300 euros for a comparable macbook pro. Although it looks really good, the machine is 100% garbage. I don't know if it is Dell's hardware, or if it is Ubuntu (19 years on and they are still trying to come up with a good product). And I don't care who is to blame. All I know is that as a freelancer developer I need my computer to be reliable, and not crash mysteriously several times a week, for different reasons. Pure garbage. Back to Mac.

Dell is the pits. I bought a laptop and desktop from them, and the fact that I was stupid enough to buy not one but TWO of their worthless machines makes me want to vomit and then shoot myself. Here are some of the most direct and accurate points I've encountered in the reviews below: -- "The very worst customer service I've encountered in decades." --"DO NOT BUY A DELL." --"Dell is a scam and a waste of money. NEVER BUY A DELL. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU." What passes for customer service by Dell is laughable, starting with the fact that most of them speak only a shred of English; and that aspect of their service has gotten worse over the last two or three years. They've ruined whole months of my life, because for whole months my days have gone like this: Get up. Have bowl of cereal. Brace myself for intensely unpleasant experience. Call Dell and have the aforementioned intensely unpleasant experience. Also, check watch: entire morning wasted. Next day: REPEAT YESTERDAY. Next day: PRAY FOR SOMEONE AT DELL WHO SPEAKS ENGLISH. It starts from the very beginning of each call. Half the time I can't even get past "Hello" but must ask if I've reached Dell Computers, because whatever they've said sounds like gibberish to me. (I know, my Hindi sounds like gibberish to them.) The frustrations are large and small. And on top of all that, they always ask if I'd be willing to speak with their bosses to commend their work. Are they joking, just to torture me? Life is just too short to spend it on dealing with Dell.

I am disgusted that Dell Support won’t replace the laptop they haven’t fixed (over 18 months), and the amount of my time it has taken from my life and productivity. On the 24th April 2017 I purchased a Dell XPS 15 9560, with a 2-year support agreement. Dell Support have been working on my faulty laptop now for over 18 months. They cannot fix it and refuse to replace the laptop. I have spent weeks myself (over 18 moths), on the phone to Dell Support letting them diagnose and attempt to repair it. The laptop has had Windows reinstalled 4 times. Dell have replaced the motherboard and HD/SSD. On several occasions after Dell Support perform driver updates etc., the laptop has been left in a worse condition than when they started. Fault: Laptop doesn’t wake after going in to sleep mode (blank screen, keyboard lights on). A hard reset is required to get the laptop working again. The first support request was raised on 10th December 2017.

Bought a new desktop computer. Has continually restarted during the day since day 1 and have called numerous times and no resolution and they care very little. Trying to run a business and will not have to replace a 90 day old computer WITH A NON DELL as their support (of which I've spent HOURS multiple times is not adequate. DO NOT BUY A DELL

The very worst customer service I've encountered in decades. Spent over 2 hours trying to get a replacement for a Dell wireless mouse purchased 4-5 months ago and under warranty. Called on 4 separate occasions and transferred from one department to another( customer support, tech support, out of warranty etc). Even when speaking with the same area on different occasions, a different reply and no one able or willing to replace a $15-20. Finally have given up. Really no regard for their customers

Placed order for printer...at $399.00. Received confirmation that would ship and arrive by September 5. After weeks of back and forth they said it was stuck in “processing” and they...a computer company...could not unstick their own computer and they insisted they had no choice but to cancel the order, which they did and then jacked the price up 100.00. Something smell funny to you? That is the second time they failed to process an order and had to cancel and no one at Dell can provide any answer. Again...something does not smell right in DellLand.

Noticed a few months after owning a G5 15 5587, the laptop started getting harder and harder to shut and open. The bottom bezel started to separate from the screen and poke out when opening it as well. 3 month later I could barely open and close the laptop without feeling like something was gonna break. I've never dropped this laptop and bought it for college. Called Dell for repairs and explained that this had been an ongoing issue that only got worse with time. No damage on the outside of the laptop. Sent it in and waited forever just for them to send a billhold saying that wasn't covered by the warranty. They wanted to replace the screen, damage hinges, and back cover for almost $300. NOTHING was broken on the screen or cover! Called and explained that the laptop was never dropped or abused. They said they would call back in two day. Never heard back. Tried emailing them twice with no replies. Called and explained everything again and was transferred to multiple people. Some guy hung up on me and was rude and I had to start over again. Was told over and over that I 'DROPPED' it. Wasted hours. It's been almost a month without my laptop and it's still messed. My stepdad told me he thinks the hinges were too tight on it to began with. I need my laptop for college. They're trying to make me pay to replace stuff not needed and feels like a scam. Finally called and told them to send it back. I'm just gonna find someone else that knows what their doing but Dell is a scam and a waste of money. NEVER BUY A DELL. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU.

The thing is less than 3 months old. I paid over 500 for a Dell Inspiron 24 300 Series All-in-One. "The RPC Server is unavailable" The thing is a brick. Dell will do NOTHING. They wont tell you who the manufacture of the server is, NOTHING! They want you to use a computer for THREE MONTHS AND THEN GO SPEND ANOTHER 500 ON ANOTHER ONE!!!

As the title says, I do like the XPS laptop! So far it has been wonderful......BUT The stress of buying from Dell does NOT make it worth it!!!! First, getting it shipped was a nightmare (thank you FedEx for fixing it) because Dell's team were acting like it would take a rock scientist to get FedEx hold it so I could pick it up after work. Second, I order a black one and got rose gold.... honestly I liked the look of the rose gold so I let that go. BUT THEN, the visa gift card promotion.... I put in my claim and got it approved on the 15th of August. It is the 18th of September today, when I called they said it "Should" come next week. It's around the same thing they said when I called on the 26th of August. They said my first claim got canceled and they did send me a new claim. So they dropped the ball and when I talk to the supervisor today all I got was "I understand you're upset". Oh and talking to a supervisor, I had the first guy try to talk me out of it and it took over a hour for her to call me. I'm STILL waiting Dell! Maybe you should invest a little more money into your service, it will save you customers in the long run.....I know I'm not buying for Dell again.

I bought a Dell Inspiron 15 5000 Gaming laptop from Dell and the top left side popped open just from being closed about four to five times. Support refuse to do anything about it even though many people who purchased the same laptop had the same exact problem, a clear defect. Computer also had audio problems within a month I could hear static sounds when I would watch videos.

Dell customer service was beyond pathetic. We bought a higher end Inspiron Laptop with SSD, etc. It had major problems about a month into. I called Dell beyond 30 days, so, my request to return denied. They did fix the laptop. About 9 months later, same problem. Customer service this time was terrible. Numerous calls and three promises to ship us a box for repair and nothing. Routine barriers placed to speak with manager. Excuses to forward my call back and forth. Aweful. About two months later as a "courtesy" they had a technician come out. He had to replace the mother board. We could not wait that long, have a home business, so had to buy a new computer. Dell did not stand by their product, wasted too much of my time....will never buy from them again.

I’ve bought several brands of pc over the last several years but very a dell. I always thought they would be a reliable and great investment. My vaio pc was getting older and slower, so I decided to either get a dell or an Apple. I went with dell simple because of the price. Dell so far has been the worse pc I have ever owned. If you have a dell and you love it, that’s wonderful. My Vaio needed very little maintenance and would easily repair itself. I’ve had more issues with Dell since I purchased it than over 10 years with Vaio. I rarely ever turn it on because of the issues and how slow it’s always been.

The worst worst laptop I had in my life. There was not even 6 months after purchasing and all the keys stopped working. I went to service center but denied to help though it was under warranty. Right now also I am facing same issue keys are not working, wifi network lost suddenly, responding too slow..just fed up, thinking why I purchased.. Waste of Money
