If only I could give 0 stars. I paid off my account on in January, with Dillard's cashing the check on 1/7/25. I received a letter that my account was paid in full. Well, the next month I received a notice my account was past due. I called, and was told I needed to fax a copy of the cashed cashier's check from my bank. I faxed the requested information and I was told the dispute to my account would be handled. I get another letter from Dillard's saying that the dispute had been closed, and I owed the $1000. The next day my credit report was 70 points down because Dillard's reported I was over 90 days late (mind you I had been calling and monitoring the situation and I was told they would not report the payment because it was their issue). I was told to fax the information again regarding the payment, and I called to to ensure they got the information. I spoke to a lady on the phone and I told her about the dispute, the credit report issue, etc. to which she replied I should just pay the account off again, and Dillard's would return any monies that I was owed! It is now April 9, and the dispute has finally been taken care of, however, Dillard's has failed to report to credit bureau that it was their mistake. Please stay away!

I was unable to return a dress that I had purchased for my daughter’s wedding because it was 9 days past the date to return according to the return policy. I asked for an exception to return or credit to use later as the dress is brand new, all tags on, never worn same dress as 9 days ago. Unfortunately this was not granted. Surprising results of an exclusive store as Dillards. Very disappointing.

I placed a order received to different packages. I did not receive 4 of the items I ordered. Called and contacted customer service. I explained not all of the clothing was in the first order. They insist they were and rejected my claim. Now I have to pay for clothes I did not receive. Never again will I order online.

Lovely bedding. Problem is, I purchased the Ralph Lauren Sara Floral bedding on Dillard.com for $235.00 and just found it on Macys for $164.75 (a $71 dollar difference - which is HUGE). I just called Dillards Customer Sercice for a price adjustment and was told by Customer Service that Dillards does not do price adjustments. Guess what I won't ever shop at Dillard's again. BUYER BEWARE. I give Dillards no stars. I only gave a 1 star because I had to. Very Dissapointing.

Never shopping with them again. This is crazy. My family was sick for over a month. I printed a return for 2 dresses within days of receiving it. I accidentally didn't send it out until past the return window. They returned the dresses to me and will not give me a refund. So upsetting. I shop from Saks, Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus & Macy's all the time. Gave Dillard's a try and they are awful. If they care to fix this and do the right thing, the order number is 739524776. They were never worn and this is CLEAR because there is an attached ribbon that wraps around and through the entire dress.

I love the quality of the clothes at Dillard’s, but the customer service experience was disappointing. Unless you’re actively making a purchase—which I was—the treatment can be unwelcoming. While looking something up on my phone, a store employee seemingly found me suspicious enough to request a police officer to stand near me. I’m not sure if it was because of my race or how I was dressed, but it made me feel uncomfortable, unwelcome, and unfairly judged. Being watched closely by both a store worker and law enforcement while simply shopping is not an experience I expected or appreciated. If you’re a young Black woman, be mindful that standing in one place too long might get you treated like a suspect rather than a customer. Dillard’s, do better. Douglasville location

This was my first experience ordering online with Dillards. I waited almost 3 months to purchase a jacket and a week and a half after I received it. It went down to a much much lower price. I called customer service and they weren’t willing to price adjust or send me a return label. I will never order online from them again.

Very poor service. There is no customer service at Dillard. I have been making a lot of purchases from Dillard. During the Christmas time I bought two Frye purses. Those are really big and we did not like. I call the customer service to return unfortunately it was above 30 days during Christmas time. They refuse taking it back. I explained that the return receipt was already printed out, but my kids accidentally mailed it to Belk. I got those back in mail after 15 days to three weeks it was beyond 30 days period. These two $500 purchase would be such a waste though I requested them to give the store credit they refuse to help at all. I would never be purchasing anything from Dillard. The manager who spoke to me, her name is Jasmine and I asked if I could speak anybody above her. She said there’s nobody current that she working above her. Very poor service would not recommend Dillard to anyone.

Per a salesperson's recommendation, I bought a pair of boots which I really liked and planned to keep them. So I disposed of the carton. The next day, I got an email about a clearance sale regarding the boots purchased. The price was now $50 less than the price I paid. I went to the store and they explained that I needed the carton for the return/refund. I asked for a credit but that is not their policy. Pretty sad. I will keep the boots but this has soured my opinion of Dillard's. Tough lesson for me.

Dilliards is an awful place to order online from. Don't ever do it. I returned my overpriced Duvet within 30 days and they actually MAILED IT BACK TO ME. They are horrible. Simply horrible. I would never ever shop with them again.

I was at the grand junction co store I asked the attendant for a kitchen napkins there was only one I asked if I could order more and she told me that they were discontinued she was rude so I look on line to see if I could buy them and I went to customer service she gave me the same reaction as the attendant she was chatting with another employee and told me to order them on line it’s fine we have options but that is why some stores are closing so sad

I would give no stars if possible, i had a very very horrible experience with them i never received an order of $300.00 and they refuse to give me my refund back i am reporting them everywhere im opening a dispute with my bank

My order is missing and I contacted customer service about the issue and they refused to give me a refund. I understand people lie about this but I am telling the truth about never receiving the item. It said it was delivered to the correct address but I didn’t get any proof of delivery or notification that it was delivered

Mark my words, Dillards will be the next store closing. I did not think that my son was given fair treatment when he exchanged a pair of jeans. I bought him a pair at dillards at the parks mall and when I asked him about his exchange he told me that he had to pay the difference because the jeans were no longer on sale. So I took the jeans today , right after he told me, and went up to dillards and spoke with I don't know who because when I asked to speak to a manager and they finally came, she didn't identify herself or give me a name or anything. She just said how can I help u. So I related what my son told me and she looked at the jeans he purchased yesterday with the one on the receipt and she said they were a different style altogether. They were not a different style just a different color. They were exact, except the color, and that is all they had on the rack. The supposed manager did not give me any options nor did the sales clerk tell my son any options. She could have at least offered to order the exact same pair of jeans so that way we could have done a proper exchange. It is evident that what the lady told me today, she just did not want to lose that money. I use to do exchanges elsewhere and I know how stores think. I won't go into all of it but since I could not get a fair exchange then I went to Walmart and got money from my account and gave the difference to my son. It was a little over $35.00. I will not go back to Dillards. I don't want any excuses replied back to this because I'm not going to look at the reviews any longer. Excuses only satisfy those who make them. What about taking care of the customer? Why would my son or me have to pay more for a pair of jeans just because they don't have the right color. The jeans were faulty to begin with, the zipper was broken. I can't help that the jeans were off sale now but I will say that that whole rack of jeans were on sale when I bought them. So in essence, I bought a pair of jeans on sale and that sale was not honored, after the fact. We didn't break the zipper. They should have honored the sale and let us have the different color, but same style jeans on sale. Not charge us extra because it was not an exact match. They were the same style, same brand name, but different color. It is not like he decided to buy a completely different brand of jeans. The jeans were faulty, I can't help that. Dillards didn't have anymore jeans that were EXACTly the same. They should offer to order the same jeans or Tell us what our options were before the transaction took place. The transaction that was done was not exchange but a return of the jeans and then ringing them up at the whole price. That is bad policy and bad business. Dillards is so cheap that they want to hold onto the money. All they want to do is give our their gift cards so they can hold onto the money. My son isn't mad but I am because I feel like he was cheated. When my son took the jeans back to Dillards yesterday, the sales lady called for a manager but she told my son that the manager would not come. It seemed like the sales lady wasn't too clear herself on how to do returns or exchanges based on what my son told me. This is genuine, u don't need an email address. Don't contact me on my email.

I love the lip color Black Honey but its formula is extremely drying. Is there any way the formula can be enriched? Other brands have lipcolors that are moisturizing but they aren't that color.

Nothing, after reading these reviews, I was going to order my grandson a shirt but FORGET IT! Covid really did something to this world, customer service went right down the toilet, young people with no work ethic, social media doesn't help neither sad but true I`m a grandma I`m to old to fight any more I don`t want to be sent the wrong item or a used item so sorry Dillard`s I will look some where else.

Had to return child’s dress wouldn’t fit bought on line and had to pay shipping, they withheld shipping cost. No wonder retail stores are goin* under, forget Dillard buy from Amazon

Your return policy is very clear on the website. Holiday gift returns will be honored until 1/11/25. I received a gift with the Dillards price tag on the item, but because it did not have a proof of purchase tag on it, I could not return it. 2 employees were rude and did not even offer any kind of solution. I feel because it was a Christmas item, they did not want to deal with it. I did not receive a gift receipt. This is something I will not use, so instead of issuing me store credit and encouraging me to buy something that day from your store and walking away with a positive experience, I left empty handed, a gift I will not use, and I walked out of Dillards not looking or buying a thing! I do not have a good reason to ever come and shop in this store again because your employees do not follow the return policy as stated on the website and overall did not give good customer service. When asked to speak to a manager, I was told that she would tell me the same thing, can not accept the return. Highly disappointed and dissatisfied.

Terrible for asking help at shoe department. The sales person cannot even give a little customer satisfaction for returning my defect sandal except returning it. AFTER: 1) I spending over $120 sandal. 2) Drove for two hours back n forth. 3) Dealing with online customer services to get a mail return label form so I don’t have to drive but that was wasted due to the item was purchased in store online due to no available my size 4) I was plan to wear it for my Christmas party coming up and now is ruin because the it’s not gonna deliver here on time. What a waste. My first time going to this mall and bad experience I encounter.
