My parcel came from the Netherlands to Bristol dpd they rang me on the Friday to say it will be sent out that afternoon..great waited in only to get an email to say I’d missed them ?? And to reschedule,so I did for the Monday only to have another email saying I’d missed them again.. after a number of phone calls for 3 days and they kept saying it will be ther next day.I said you have my phone number call me if you’re lost. I live on a main road how can they not find me!!!this happened for 4 days finally the day I received it the guy was very rude. My parcel took longer to come from Bristol than the nethelands.absolutely awful company.

EX39 5HW Shocking Negligence! The delivery took place EX39 5HW. A consignment of 12 big boxes from China with valuable private items. Initially a notification email came 12th January that it was delivered, which was simply impossible due to it had just been sent from China a day or so before. We could not find any reliable information, and were worried, particularly, as we don’t reside at the address currently due to lockdown. Then suddenly this huge volume delivery takes place middle of March, WITHOUT ANY NOTIFICATION, neither prior not after the delivery! The boxes would have just been simply left by the front door at the house in rural area with no immediate neighbours just under the weather. Thankfully, the dog walker from the neighbouring village saw the boxes and contacted us, so, they were finally rescued. Quite astonishing - no single notification! This delivery cost us £2,050, plus the value of the content; and our belongings could have just got destroyed by the weather or simply picked up by someone. Shocking negligence! Avoid this carrier!

I am absolutely disgusted with the service Ive received from DPD. Firstly I was expecting a delivery from DPD on Friday 12/02/21 where I then received an email after waiting for the parcel to say that I missed the driver which confused me as I was patiently waiting. I then rescheduled the delivery for Monday the 15/02/21 of the month which AGAIN I waited for this time keeping an eye out to then received an email saying my parcel was REFUSED and my parcel was being sent back to the sender. I was extremely angry by this point as the parcel was being ordered way in advance for my son birthday and all that was chosen on line was the last items being sold and I couldn’t purchase it again I DID NOT REFUSE THE DELIVERY. I attempted to talk to an adviser online which not me no where as they were telling me 2 different things. One being that my home address was incorrect which had to be incorrect as they arrive and said I missed them the at the first delivery attempt. The second excuse being that I refused the parcel at the door which makes no sense as I was waiting for then to arrive and why would I refuse something I’ve paid a lot of money for. I had no choice but to them call DPD costing me £25 which is absolutely disgusting not to mention the costs on my home phone WHICH I CANNOT AFFORD. To then get through to someone WHICH THEY WERE RUDE. SAID I WOULDN'T BE GETTING MY PARCEL AND ME MID TALKING THEY OUT THE PHONE DOWN ON ME. I can not believe the unprofessionalism of this company. I then had to call the sender to ask for the items to be re labelled and sent to me but unfortunately because of policy they cannot do that and I had to RE PURCHASE EVERYTHING AGAIN. Then I asked my parcel to not be sent by your company but by another delivery company but no luck it had to be sent by you. So I wait anxiously for 3 days glued to my phone waiting for the time dpd will be delivering my parcel so I can be there to wait. I ended up being up at 5.30am looking out my door and when it got to the delivery time I actually went outside my house sat in my car and waited for the hour dpd would be delivering ! YES I WAITED OUTSIDE KEEPING AN EYE OUT. And thank god I did. I cannot believe the service I then received . I see the dpd driver pull up round the corner from my house so I decided to approach them asking if they had my parcel which I then got ignored after telling him my name and he drove on further up my road. where he then approached a a different house WITH MY PARCEL WHICH I SEE HAD MY NAME ON IT. Good job I beforehand told the driver my name because the house up the road lied and said it was for their daughter. They could have stole my parcel because of your unorganisation. The driver became confused and eventually asked me for my ID which I provided and I took my parcel ! WHAT AN ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE WHICH I THOUGHT WAS FINALLY OVER ! But was not , this morning I received a charge of £12 on my mobile phone and £13.09 charge on my home phone THIS IS ASTONISHING HOW DARE YOU after the service I received from your company in including these charges being illegal YOUR VOICE RECOREDED AUTOMATED SYSTEM SAYS A SET CHARGE OF £6 A MINUTE BUT MY PHONE COMPANY MADE ME AWARE YOU DID CHARGE THE £6 THE 65p EVERY MINUTE AFTER WHICH I WAS HELD ON HOLD FOR MOST OF IT THEN HAD THE PHONE PUT DOWN ON. I accept the initial charge of £6 which I did call to talk to someone BUT AFTER THAT CALL I DO NOT ACCEPT THEM CHARGES ! The system logged the first time my order number and was putting straight to an automated system which then put the phone down BUT CHARGED ME £6 FOR ! I EXPECT A REFUND ON THESE CHARGES. I cannot believe the service of DPD and if I have the option I will NEVER want to receive anything from your company again ! I want to take this issue the furthest I can because I have all grounds to complain. My correct home address was on all my emails from dpd and also the sender! The problem was in your end! ive now had to result to these public complaint as ive sent this complaint to every email on the internet and NOT ONE REPLY.

A parcel was sent to me on 8th. March. I know they were trying to deliver it because they asked at the local garage for directions but they could not find me! I am on a road in a small village and the house name is prominently displayed. It never turned up. This is the third time that I have had problems with DPD, they do not seem to acknowledge that I exist!! Other carriers have no problem.

THE WORST SH***TIEST services of all. if i could give it a 0 i would. Again i missed my parcel. In 2021, with corona in full swing, where deplacements should be restricted, I too, like millions of people in the world am now ordering online. I received a mail like 30 min before to then get a second one announcing that I missed it and that I ll have to recover somewhere still unknown. I work full time, i dont have time to to go run to an unknown drop point, because this is what DPD does, it drops it in the middle of nowhere because probably no one wants to work with them. B-post delivers to my neighbours, which it is what i wrote on the comments on my delivery. Post NL even calls me on my phone! I never ever miss a parcel with those guys! Either way, i no longer go to drop point, and when I do, it s the one close to my home, the one I know, and they know me as well. I missed my parcel and I ll probably leave it thIf i ordered online it means i cant get it in the store myself, it s either heavy (they have a van), ere, as i usually do with DPD, most of the time because I dont even know what address it is, and i seriously cant be bothered. i should have canceled my order or pay more to the get another service. If i ordered online it means i cant get it in the store myself, it s either heavy (they have a van), i m fuming, i m going to the store to get me the article, or buy it from Amazon, which never works with DPD thanks God.

If I had the option to give 0 stars then I would. DPD proves the saying "you get what you pay for" I'm my case I am still waiting for my parcel from 17th January ..its now 21 March. The customer service is non existent and if a reply is given it is a standard reply from a list. All I can say is if you do not want to spend hours on the phone, days emailing, sleepless nights and high blood pressure then DO NOT USE this company....better to pay more and actually receive the parcel

RIP OFF Hi, I want to make a complaint. A Dpd adviser informed me on the 5th of December that I will get a refund as you were unable to deliver my parcel from London to Spain. After waiting 1 month you returned my parcel with no reason back to my door. Now when I contacted the web chat about my refund, one of your colleagues from DPD said the refund was rejected by the refunds team and there is no further action you can take on this. You did not even inform me , I was waiting for my refund as the Dpd adviser advised me on the 5th of March. Also on a different occasion Dpd another department informed me I am entitled to the refund please see bellow: I also attached screenshots when you assured me I will receive my money back. I also registered a complaint, you never dealt with it. Hello Alecsandra, Apologies for the delay in reply. I am sorry that your parcel for Simona Zamfir was not delivered but returned which was relabelled under the same parcel reference and has been delivered back to you on 5th March. The parcel should have been received by you can contact Dpd Local Online Sales Account for your refund as the parcel was booked through them using the below link: https://www.dpdlocal-online.co.uk/newhelpcentre/livechat Have a nice day ahead. Regards, Rakesh DPD Exports

I had issues every time DPD is supposed to deliver a parcel to me, this is going on for years now without the slightest improvement. There is a gated entry with security call system. I leave detailed instructions every time on how to gain access and the drivers regularly come, take a selfie with the gate then leave without calling through for entry. Today I got a message that they missed me in the first 3 minutes of my allocated delivery time. I instructed also to leave the parcel in a safe place hoping that DPD drivers won't be able to play their dirty tricks but to no avail. Any self respecting business should stay away from using DPD as inevitably their business will suffer and their customer services will deal with unhappy customers. I definitely choose not shopping companies that work with DPD if there is alternative.

DPD were delivering on behalf of Amazon Prime. I was out when they delivered so they took parcel away and left message that it would be delivered the next day. The next day I had a message to say it was delayed and would be delivered the next day. This did not happen so I tracked - back in depot. Spoke to DPD advisor - could not be sent out again without Amazon raising an investigation. Spent hour on phone. Amazon deny this the case. Totally frustrating! I had to cancel my order with Amazon in the end.

It’s bad customer service because I was coming from outside. DPD driver and me met outside my house but in front of my door I tried to get my parcel But he didn’t gave me, to saying that first open your door then I will give you parcel. I felt embarrassed and told him check my photo ID because in email notification DPD said that “our driver will see your photo ID” but he didn’t listen me and so controversial. I rejected to take my parcel and even I cancelled my order from seller as well. It’s DPD’s stupidity.

I WILL NEVER USE DPD AGAIN!! I dropped a parcel (a Mother day present) off at my local Argos, for 'DPD online' collection on Sunday the 7th of March. On Wednesday (3 days later), the parcel was still at Argos. I went down to the branch to ask why it had not been collected yet. I was told that a DPD driver had twice refused to take all of the parcels, as there were too many, but he had now picked it up. On Thursday the 11th, my Mum received a parcel from DPD, but NOT the one we sent her! Somebody had stuck the wrong bar code on her parcel and somebody else's parcel, so she got a box of herbs and vegetables delivered to her instead! The box had two different address labels on it (the label the customer had applied and DPD's), but instead of the courier using common sense and questioning it, he delivered the wrong parcel to my Mum (he dropped it on her doorstep, took a photo and drove off). To cut a long story short, I then spent over 3 hours on the phone and 'live chat', speaking to four different people, who although they were helpful, just passed the buck. The final person that I spoke to said "I confirm that I have passed all the details and our internal team will investigate it now and will try to fix it ASAP. We should have a reply within two working days". As yet (Mothers Day), my Mum has still not received her present & card! This problem was a simple case of cross labeling a parcel, and lack of COMMON SENSE from the courier. It would have been very easy to resolve quickly and in time for Mothers Day as we knew exactly where my Mum's parcel was due to DPD's tracking system. If someone at customer service actually gave a damn, they would have spoken to the DPD branch who had the parcel and arranged for it to be sent to the correct address the following day (Friday). Instead they just passed it on to someone else to be investigated "within two working days". DISGUSTING!! DPD should be ashamed of themselves for ruining what should have been a special day for my Mum.

If you want a 'don't give a dam about you' attitude, use DPD There is no option to rate 'No Stars' The delivery driver left the 'We tried to deliver your parcel' note in the safe place I had requested...Why did he not leave the actual parcel? When I rang to find out why my parcel had not been delivered, the automated message said 'The reason your parcel was not delivered was because there was no- one there to sign for it' but the email I had received from DPD that morning had stated, You do not need to sign for your parcel' I needed the contents of my parcel for a deadline, which was obviously missed. The parcel turned up a day later right out side my front door when I was not at home, no signature needed! I had paid £6.95 for faster delivery. Phone calls to DPD are met with an automated message about your parcel with no opportunity for you to speak to anyone, 'Live chat' has automated responses on a loop that have no relevance to your enquiry, there is no where to contact them or complain. Business's using DPD beware.. they are ruining the reputation of your company with their 'don't give a jot about you' attitude to customer service and this is reflected back on your company. In future, if I know a company is using DPD as their courier service I will not use that company.

My goods arrived so late that it caused my business £1250 to date. I pleaded with the customer service who kept promising me next day delivery with text confirmation - that means nothing, my parcel still did not get delivered. DPD customer service staff were so unprofessional and inadequate is unbelievable. They have Duty Managers, some of them are Asians (sorry to mentioning this even though I am an Asian myself) are so immature , unintelligent & heartless that they are incapable of come up with a solution. DPD CEO, Dwain McDonald, is the same. Though Dwain is not unintelligent otherwise he would not be the CEO, but he just does not care or know the meaning of customer service! He only sees £££$$$ signs. My biggest regret that I took a chance with DPD....never again will I use DPD. I request you NOT to use them because DPD just bad news, brings misery and nothing else! Avoid DPD at any cost.

I sent a parcel with contents worth over £500.00 with insurance... It never reached its destination and is now lost... I have been fighting to claim my costs back now for over 3 months and DPD will not pay me for my losses... They will not respond and each time hang up the phone... I have several voicemail from them saying they will get me an update about my parcel but never respond. I have taken this to trading standards and now in the process of court action.
