Where do I start? 90% of the time not bothering to come to the front door (up one flight of stairs). Instead they dump it where they like - outside in the street, in the communal hallway, or even dumping outside someone else's flat over the road. I can't even explain the laziness of these drivers. They truly are the worst courier company and almost always don't deliver as arranged.

When is DPD not DPD? Answer: When a driver in a DPD marked vehicle, in DPD uniform drives into your front garden off the gravel driveway, gets stuck and causes damage apparently. If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it’s a duck? And it is shocking that DPD won’t accept any liability or offer any assistance. According to DPD it wasn’t one of their drivers, which is strange, because I am sure we can all agree that the photo is of a DPD van? DPD claim it was an employee of M&S Townend Ltd., a delivery firm owned by Mick Townend based in Leeds. He is refusing to accept liability either saying that my garden should have been coned off! The job was booked by the supplier of my order with DPD, they are paying DPD. DPD have flat out refused assistance on helping me to get this sorted, even refusing to provide me with details of who the actual company who did the delivery were and I am left high and dry with repair costs totalling over £450. So if you’re thinking of using DPD for any delivery. Don’t. And if you’re thinking of using Mick Townend don’t. Mick has consistently lied, dodged liability, tried to hide behind DPD by refusing to provide his company details when requested to do so and trying to leave his employee high and dry for the damage who lied claiming the package weighed 50kg when it actually weighed 25kg. Unscrupulous at best. You have been warned!

Personally I think 1* is too high a rating for this company, who delivered someone else package to my house. Firstly I thought no I'm not going to take it a quarter of a mile and deliver it myself, they can redeliver it. I first tried the online chat feature on their website and got a message back that never actually answered my message. Then I tried the whats app feature and got the same treatment asking for the same information even when I had given it. Next up was the app, which only worked once after I downloaded it, then failed to open. Then the phone which I resisted using because of the time factor..."our phone centre is close at this time" 🤬 Eventually I did go round and delivered it but next time I'll just bin it or stick it in the post box. What a way to run a business !!!!!

Misleading or false and inaccurate information everywhere on their platform. These people are nearly impossible to reach, got incredibly bad customer care and will lie to your face. Essentially once they get your money they don't care about providing any useful information. Been stuck with a parcel they refuse to collect from my door, and none of their drop off points will accept either because it's 50 X 50 X 40 cm, thus to big. It's a dead end, most of their customer care agents recommend I keep cruising the city until a good Samaritan accepts it at one of their drop off locations. (Drop off locations don't have to accept large parcels based on their contract. DPD doesn't want to collect from my door).

Horrendous company.......please Avoid at all costs !!!!! I ordered an item from Huawei and they said DPD would be delivering it. i got a message from DPD that they would be delivering it between 11.30am and 12.30pm today,, i had a dental appointment so i said leave my Parcel in a safe place on the websight, and i got a confirmation text saying they would leave it in a safe place, my safe place was in a cupboard right next to my front door with an open padlock, i said leave it in the cupboard and lock the padlock,(this is a really secure cupboard so there is no chance it could get stolen,,) and i left a big sign on the cupboard ( DPD please put any deliverys in this cupboard and close the padlock), when i was at the dentist i got a comformation email from DPD saying my item has been delivered and i could click on the link they sent me as proof, when i clicked on the link it showed the parcel right next to my front door, i thought great they are taking the picture of the parcel next to my front door and there going to put it in my safe place the cupboard next to my front door and lock the padlock, like i requested !!!!!! i got home 30 minutes later after my dental appointment, walking up to my front door i noticed the padlock was open just how i left it, i thought strange they must have forgot to lock my padlock !!!! i looked in my cupboard and it was empty, I was straight on the phone to DPD and told them you have said my item has been delivered and it has not, they said let me check, and they got back to me and said, yes it was left at your front door !!! i said did you not get my safe place request as i got a confirmation email you did !!!! they said yes we got your safe place request, the Delivery driver was supposed to leave the parcel in the cupboard next to your front door and lock the padlock !!!!! i said well this has not been done !!!!! they said let me speak to the driver and i will get back to you, after holding on the phone for a couple of minutes DPD said the drive had left the parcel on my door step !!!! I said why ? when you have my safe place request and its been confirmed to me by you that you received it,,,,DPD said i am sorry you never received your item, please take this up with the company you bought the item from !!!!!!( what are you Joking me ????) Because of the Delivery company DPD !!!!!! A £300 pound item i ordered got either stolen or there Delivery driver took the picture and took the item away with them again,, please Avoid this company they are Terrible they dont deserve any stars,, Terrible Terrible Company. I mean these are simple instructions for a delivery company to follow,,I am devastated that my item got stolen or never really got delivered in the first place, it took me 3 months to save up enough money to buy this item,Just for DPD UK, to simply not do there job and deliver an item securely and properly. Thank God for trust pilot and the other 6 review sights i am going to send this review to,,what's important to me is that i can warn others of this Terrible Company so they dont have to suffer the terrible service i got, I will also not order anything with the company Huawei UK, anymore because I know they use the delivery service of DPD UK.

Expected delivery never came. Tracking said delivered. Eventually admitted delivered to wrong address. No apology, no explanation, no answering phone, all I got was ‘driver no longer with company’. A month after due date they claimed on tracking that it was delivered and signed for. I was in another country. Utter lies. Truly appalling company. Do NOT give them your business.

Do not use DPD if you are disabled or have lifting restrictions. I have recently had major spine surgery and consequently cannot lift anything over 3 pints of milk. Despite telling the driver this and begging him to carry the parcel about 3 yards into my house, his response being it was more than his jobs worth and he didn't want to get sacked. His only concession was to leave it half way across the threshold leaving my small neighbor to push to parcel just far enough into my small to get the front door closed. The parcel is in they way! I struggle to get around it and am fearful of damaging my recent surgery. Do not use this wretched company!!

I donated an old laptop to a charity and it never reached the drop off point. Lost without a trace. A fairly large box, disappeared into thin air? Or disappeared into the boot of someone’s car. They wouldn’t even pay up the poultry £30 value I put on it, which would have gone to the tech charity. Appalling service.

Delivery driver took a photo of my parcel at a house, number 12 and confirmed it was delivered. I live in a block of flats. There is no number 12 on my road. I doubt I'll be getting my parcel today as it appears the driver either cannot read or can't use a sat nav!

31 days since my order was shipped. They aren't even updating the tracking anymore, it's just sitting in a warehouse somewhere. I've been ordering stuff online regularly for decades, this is the worst delivery experience I've ever had.

Worst delivery service , I don’t know how to explain but they ruined my birthday suprise . They come and take a picture of your door and lie you weren’t at home and say they missed the person , meanwhile I was home all day , this is the 3rd time they disappointed me and thy always lie that I am not at home , persishable item will obviously be destroyed by the time they bring it , if they ever do I will probably give the driver to take it home and enjoy it . I advice whenever you’re ordering I trust the company that you don’t want dpd to do your delivery because this ones do not know thier jobs , they are scammers and never ever deliver . Thier customer service is rude and cuts the call on the person , they will block you from contacting them that you have to use another persons number . I recommend you never use them . Especially for a special occasion they will ruin it . I hope they ban dpd from operating , it is really sad

I had two separate deliveries managed by DPD yesterday and today, both awful experiences. Yesterday, nobody knocked, and I missed my parcel despite being home. I am disabled, and rely on delivery services as I am housebound most of the time. I live in a block of flats and believe no attempt was made by the driver to even enter the building, as the concierge always phones my flat to verify deliveries and let couriers in. I called to report the incident yesterday, and whilst offered platitudes, it became evident today that no action was taken to facilitate a change. I was told to phone the seller to reschedule delivery in lieu of collecting, and the seller told me they had contacted DPD and I would be phoned in due time by DPD to rearrange with them. No such call was made, and when I called at 5pm for an update I was told there was no record of this on their system. I eventually arranged to have my parcel collected to avoid any more faff. Clearly no complaint or delivery info was logged as requested, because I have just missed ANOTHER parcel. I was tracking the delivery to ensure I didn't miss it, placed a very visible note on my front door stating "DELIVERY- I am disabled, PLEASE knock loudly and wait, I am home! Thank you!", and made sure to have no TV or music on so I would hear the knock. Nothing but yet another text saying "no one was in today." An absolute joke. Phoned customer services to report, equally as unhelpful as yesterday. I'll be making a point to avoid sellers and companies who use this courier service from now on, which makes things incredibly awkward in the lead up to Christmas! Normally don't leave bad reviews or complaints, but this service has been atrocious. Do better.

I won't order from any company who use DPD, any more. I have no problem with any other delivery company but DPD get it wrong time and time again. For seven consecutive deliveries, I was given delivery options the day before expected arrival. Each time, I asked for the parcel to be left with my neighbour. Each time I received a confirmation email, saying this would happen and each time, I received a photo of my front door and a note saying I wasn't, home. You can't make it up!

Cant rate DPD lower, Paid Currys pc world for next day delivery with a specified time. DPD text me 3 hours before due delivery to say I had altered the delivery date which I categorically did not. Phoned to ask what was going on upshot simply not bothered about messing people about. Ferndown depot Fraudulently altered delivery date to suit themselves. put through to Customer services don't waste your time rude and not bothered either. Avoid this company and people that use with them.

In one case they didn't make any effort to contact you before delivery. It's easier to send the product back to Netherlands or Germany than just make an effort to contact the recipient. In another case the parcel got damaged and there was no information provided. They just said "undeliverable".
