I am completely disappointed with this company. They are not helpful at all! I wanted to change the delivery place but I wasn't allowed to do so. I have changed the chosen place of delivery because of their message with information that it going to be on Monday. Then I found out it could be on Saturday! But when I chose the delivery point there is was no chance to change it. Be careful with DPD! Conversations with consumer service are pointless....

Rubbish! Told an important parcel would be delivered, on the delivery day, I received a message saying it would be delayed until after the weekend at my request! I contacted the depot who said it was due to a technical error. I was told I could come and collect but call first. When I called, I was told it was locked away and I couldn't get it. Avoid this company. Will never use again.

Worst delivery I have ever encountered parcel package looked like it had been thrown around with deliberate intent DPD should be taken down to be accountable for the one thousand eight hundred and sixty-one incidents of neglectful damage received by UK residents.

DPD is the worst parcel delivery company, by a long long way. I have a parcel delivered most days by one courier or another. Amazon, Royal Mail, Parcel Force, DX.. they all seem to get it right most of the time.. Almost every time DPD is involved, something goes wrong. "The van broke down", "The driver couldn't find your house", the excuses are endless. From now on I've decided to cancel any order I make the moment I realise DPD will be handling the package.

You are given a 1hr window, my parcel failed to arrive within 4hrs of the end of the window while all the time the tracking stated I was the next delivery and they would be there shortly. Second wasted evening after the first time they supposedly failed to find the address. Customer services useless

So far I had about 4-5 deliveries with DPD, out of which only 1 was successfully delivered. The rest "I missed them". These guys are such big liars. For instance: James who failed to deliver two different parcels from two different companies on a distance of two weeks time. On the first one he took a photo of my door, but no one heard him and we were 5 people at home at that time. Today, he came again, this time he took a photo of the block entrance but he didn't call the intercom and left. No one heard any intercom and we were 3 people this time. When Amazon comes, no one home misses a single delivery. When royal mail comes, they will knock the door almost break it to make sure you will hear them and never missed a parcel on them, but these guys... are the worst ones. They are cheap and you can see it on their performance. No wonder why so many low ratings...

Radlett Depot staff (evening time Asian manager) very rude - make sure u go there with your cameras to record their rude searing words in action, and be prepared to wait outside for over an hour in the cold whilst they 'find' your parcel, no decency to even let u in the recption area to be seated. A very inflexible business, major clients such as EE, Zara must review ratings here and not renew their contracts with DPD.

Waited in all morning and was given a 1 hour time slot. Text received to say driver could not get answer. My dog is our other door bell she goes berserk when someone is at the door even before they knock. The driver clearly either went to the wrong house or could not be bothered to call. This used to be the best carriers going. If there is not a sudden shake up with management and service I cannot see this company existing much longer.

The worst delivery company ever. DPD sent a message of attempted delivery which was a total lie, they never came near my house. I will never buy anything from any company that uses these cowboys to deliver their products. There are other delivery options available if you ask, e.g. 4Gadgets said they will send orders out via Royal Mail instead of DPD if requested.

The worst delivery service ever. Nothing is on time. Drivers can't find the addresses, and they don't even try. They keep going to a restaurant down the street from my house in a different postcode! Multiple attempts to fix this have been unsuccessful. Also, the apps, driver tracking, and text updates are completely inaccurate. I think they are just for show. Email takes forever to respond to and they don't do anything anyways. The live chat takes forever and the 'person' is unresponsive.

Worst company I worked with.... They eat your money I worked for 8 days they waste my 2 days in training.... After that I worked here for 6 days.... Done deliveries for whole 6 days... About 13 hours per day... Than I told frenchice owner I don't want to do work here he told me OK but when I ask for my wages he told me you bang my van somewhere and your wages cover that repairing cost..... That's it..... Totally rubbish company....... No respect for drivers just do theirs deliveries like donkey.........

Attempted delivery to the wrong address. Claimed delivery was refused by someone whose name does not match anyone living in the property (or in the whole block of flats). Provided no photo. The parcel traveled back to Germany. Atrocious service.

AVOID!!! On 25th June I have reported my parcel missing. I’ve provided all necessary information to DPD regards my over 20kg parcel (full description of packaging, content and even photos). Since that time DPD carried over a month investigation (but still I have no answer to what has happened to my belongings). Now, over 2 months later, I still haven’t received any answers and I’m still waiting to receive money. DO NOT USE DPD!! They’ve provided me with the worst customer service!! I will never use their service again.

I sat in all day from 7 AM 4 ft away from my front door ( my pc is in my bay window) email says delivery 4-5 PM at 5.05 PM tracking says you tried to deliver and I wasn't home and that you left a card, I have no card and no one came to the house. I check tracking and it shows a photo of a commercial garage near my house. I get an email to say you will deliver tomorrow, so I call and after 25 minutes of waiting, I get a guy who is very not bothered and really doesn't care at all and just sounds fed up with dealing with this kind of thing, but he does tell me it is unlikely it will be tomorrow despite the email. No wonder you now need to warn callers not to be abusive when they are waiting in the queue. It is like a test to see if you can stay calm and not swear as you failed in every aspect of being a courier. Failed to deliver. Lied when you advised you came to the property, lied that I wasn't home, Took a picture of the wrong place. Advised redel which isn't true, kept waiting 25 minutes to speak to someone who can't help. My nan could run a better courier service on her mobility scooter, your 94% 1 star reviews on here are a clear reflection of your ability, you must be so proud. Just shut down and do everyone a favour, the stress when you know anything is in the hands of dpd is too much to take.

What a shocking bad 48 hours of incompetence. I chose the option to have my parcel delivered to my local agent for me to collect from there and duly received my notification my parcel was ready to collect. When I was arrived the agent told me the driver had signed in a consignment of 8 packets but couldn’t leave them and took them away again and would bring them back Friday 30th August. Was not too happy and decided after another 3 hours to contact DPD customer service and suggested that communication makes good customer relations, the depot were not even aware that the parcels were on the drivers van for return. I have had promises of re delivery, promises of returning calls and neither has happened. They explained the driver required more training, the agent is being suspended until. further training has been given. I had a text/email to say my parcel was ready to collect the day before and when I viewed it my parcel had been ripped open, yet another phone call and yet another promise of a taped up parcel delivery and none of it was their fault and if unhappy contact the retailer and I would be looked after under the consumer act blah blah blah. Never experienced such a couldn’t care less attitude in my life ! My parcel has now been recalled to the retailer and hooray for parcel force delivering my goods express delivery. What a shambles of a company.

For two days I have been waitng for my delivery, I took off two days from work waiting in for it as it was an important package I needed before going away on holiday. Twice the driver said they tried to deliver the parcel when in fact they didnt even try, they also said they left a card which they didnt. I called into your so called customer services and they were absolutely no help whats so ever. DPD is a complete joke I would NEVER use them ever. I had to cancel my order with Amazon and now I will need to travel to get the item I need. I am really not happy and will do everything in my power to let everyone know that your company does not care about their customers, poor service and time wasting. Thanks for nothing!

Do not use! Every parcel has an issue- Last week the parcel took 2 weeks longer due to some lost paperwork, this week out of two parcels I had coming to me one was mislabelled and ended up an hour and a half drive away - i needed it urgently so had to pick it up - the second of the two parcels that were from the same sender on the same day is completely lost!!!! Incompetent doesn't even begin to describe this company.

Verry unproffesional service. Left my box with food inside on my doorstep in 36 celcius degrees baking sun.. Many times happened that I instruct driver to leave it in a safe place and they deliver it to on my doorstep just to attract thievs or annimals.. Very dissapointed very rude customer service always covering thier asses that I select I am taking seponsibility ( they can read that but can't read instructions where to leave box) THIS IS JUST ONE BIG JOKE !

When delivery works, it's fine. I have had some successful deliveries with DPD. However, this is the only courier where I have on several occasions been at home all day, then received a message saying my parcel could not be delivered because I was not available. This happened last week. In all day, the intercom never rang and I received a message with a photo of my block saying delivery was not possible. I thought it was only me this happened to but it now seems I am not alone. I suspect there must be a loophole in their policies for delivery that other companies do not have. Perhaps the driver gets paid for a missed delivery, maybe the same as for when the parcel is actually delivered? So it makes it more worth it for them to pretend they have tried to deliver, collect the fee for that, then come back another day and try the same or actually deliver that time - and collect twice the fee instead of just one fee. That would be my only explanation to this kind of behaviour. When deliveries work, they are OK, overall. But when something goes wrong, its hard to rectify the situation. Talking to their AI chatbot is not always very useful. Getting through to a human is possible and then it's a bit hit and miss as to what service you receive.
