Ordered 2 'Zero gravity' chairs the 12th June its now the 15th August. I keep asking when they will arrive and they keep fobbing me off saying they are awaiting stock, yet they are still advertising the chairs for sale! Very poor customer services. I will never use them again and have told all my friends about my expereinces.

This is the second battery I have had to purchase for my hedge trimmers ( LHT01B ). They don't last and are a complete waste of money!!! Will be buying a petrol strimmer and not waste my time with Eckman!

Our experience with Eckman has, as for so many other people, been a complete waste of time and money. It is my belief that they are not just incompetent but are taking orders for goods with no intention of fulfilling these orders. It may be that they have a cash flow problem, but if so they may well stop trading at some point and bang goes your money if you paid by debit card. We ordered a garden multi tool for £269 , 7 weeks later and still no tool. Worst still is the apparent scam they operate on their customer service line where customers have no choice but to wait whilst they are charged per minute for promises they are in a queue and will be answered shortly. Our experience has been that you can be charged for a half hour wait but the queue does not reduce and the call may cost many pounds. Don't buy from this company, it's a waste of life and your money.

Eckman' s customer service is disgusting. Products are also of poor quality. When items are returned they take no action to replace or refund .I had to phone 9 times and still did not receive a refund. They are an absolute disgrace! They should not be allowed to trade. I have dealt with about 6 different employees and they always promise a resolution but do not process one. I can only assume they have all been instructed to never give one.

place an order for items in stock on a Monday, whilst on leave for a week from work, despach notice came through late Tuesday evening, stating delivery in 3-5 working days and a tracking number would be available within 24hrs of dispatch; it is now thursday evening and still no tracking number received. after reading peoples reviews i don't expect one soon either. shockingly poor service DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE!

PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I place an order for a cultivator on the 27 July 2016 on next day delivery. As it did not arrived I phoned the company and was promised within 72 hours it will be send. Every 72 hours since the first time I phoned to ask where my order was. Today 13 days later I requested a refund and cancelled the order.

Delivery promise of 3-5 days ,never materialised, the first call I made I was told there was a problem in the warehouse, money was taken out of my account I rang and was told it was in despatch, rang again was told it was waiting to be picked up, rang three days later said it had Ben despatched, rang again they said it had been despatched but yodel had a back log!! Asked to speak to the supervisor, all on the phone asked to fring me back was told 48 hour ring back policy

I Thought I had received satisfaction at 20th June 2016 when I received full refund for carriage on returned goods. That is until I received my telephone bill. It cost me in total £7.58 to phone their 0844 441 3010 number during June whilst trying to sort the refund etc out. Which I had not realised until checking my June phone bill Why do they use 0844 numbers? Very dissatisfied now, will not recommend this company to anyone until they change their telephone number at least.

I totally agree with Christopher. I have the same bad experience with Eckman I ordered a two stroke Cultivator on Sunday and paid for next day delivery when it did not arrive on Tuesday I phone to complaint. I was told they had more than 2000 orders and unable to send them all, but it will be delivered by Friday. I phoned Saturday to be told it will be here on Tuesday (today). It is now 4pm in the afternoon and after another phone call today I was told that I will receive it in the next 72 hours. I never had a email from Eckman after the confirmation of my order. I have to agree: Shocking level of customer service. Do not buy from this company. I just wonder if Mr Johnathan Swiss knows what is going on in his company?

Ordered hedge trimmer on Monday and paid for next day delivery. It didn't arrive. Contacted Eckman on Wednesday and was told there was an issue with online orders which were being marked as for standard not express delivery. Received email the same day to conform despatch. Received second email on Friday to say it had been despatched on that day. Complained to Eckman and they told me there was a problem in despatch but confirmed it had been despatched and gave me Yodel tracking number. When I tried to track the parcel it said that the item was still with the sender and Yodel would be receiving it soon so I have no idea when or if I will receive it. In the interim they have debited my account but there is no sign of a refund on the "express" delivery charge. What is the point of offering a next day delivery service it doesn't work? Shocking level of customer service. Do not buy from this company. Thank goodness I paid by debit card - should make it easier to get my money back.

Never received item after 3 weeks long it has been dispatched. Never buy from this company again and would highly never recommend anyone to have trust them. If I could put a level on this I would give it -10

So far very disappointed 19/07/16 Told item dispatched And issued with order No So far today I have not had a tracking number issued so I can locate the product Having contacted the help desk twice on this matter I'm sorry to say so far they have been less than helpful in every way. Martin Spiers

Paid for next day delivery for hedge trimmer Waited in all day - rang company3 pm. Item still there waiting for the safety specs Very cross - demanded that the item be taken to local courier as I had stayed in and man lined up to use it. Was promised a call from a supervisor - that like the trimmer didn't turn up . Called again and spoke to a customer services agent on whom I vented my wrath! She was calm and very efficient and told me that she would do her utmost to get the item to me. BUT as it was Friday she couldn't promise delivery the next day Saturday a.m. no delivery. Email to Jonathon Swift highly critical of his company etc etc. Saturday pm arriving home from town passed a Yodel van. Husband confirms that trimmer delivered. Hooray!

Bought battery driven hedge trimmer, worked once then packed up working. Sent back recorded postage, asked for refund 6 weeks later heard nothing from them. Do not buy from this company.

Like so many others who purchase from this company, they appear to have very poor customer service. The number on the website for Ireland does not work, numerous emails go unanswered and I am out the cost of a telescopic hedge trimmer. Nearly three weeks for delivery, zero customer service and wished I had used Paypal or a credit card as getting my money back is going to prove troublesome to say the least. Avoid this company, I don't think they are a scam but just terrible at what they do. go pay a little more from a reputable firm and if purchasing on the internet, never use your debit card.

Ordered a hedge trimmer from Eckman and paid the extra for the express 1 day delivery, then received a dispatch note stating it would be with me in 3-5 days. emailed them about this - no reply after 3 days. Rang them and reeived the explanation that at the moment their computer was ignoring the request for 1 day delivery and marking them all down as standard delivery. Reading the other reviews on here that is clearly nonsense as so many other people have had the same experience too. After speaking to the customer support person they sent me out another despatch confirmation which was exactly the same as the first one, still saying 1 day delivery. The original despacth note on 19th July said 'your product has now been despatched'. When I spoke to the helpdesk on 20th July she said 'it is about to go out for delivery', so clearly the despatch confirmations are meaningless. And have you tried the 'Track your package here' link - it goes to a page saying "Tracking Number Not Found. Tracking information was not found. It may take up to 24 hours from despatch for this to become available" - it has been saying this for 3 days now. I am told that I will get a refund for the exprress delivery charge but haven't seen it as yet. And we only ordered from them because of the 1 day delivery. I could have got one of these elsewhere as long as I was happy to wait a few days! My recommendation - don't buy from these people!

I have had a 4 in one petrol garden tool for 8 months , which has a 2 year guarantee . 4 weeks ago the engine housing melted and the exhaust flew out and hit my father. After 3 attempts to pick up the item for which I paid 10 pounds for, it was taken away by the courier that Eckman use and has been with them for over 2 weeks. I have tried numerous times with customer services to get answers to why I have not received a replacement ,but keep getting fobbed off. I know it went to Harry in quality control, but where is it now? I am not happy and never received such terrible customer service.
