“I purchased over ten thousand dollars worth of furniture with El Dorado in Wellington,Fl in within about four months had to have a service call on my leather sectional ok they came out and repaired. Then again same sectional area another service call same area they refused to replace or repair. The quality of the furniture you see in store is not what you get. I'm so disappointed no one would help me to understand why. Please think twice before you spend your time and money here.”

“Buyer Beware-The worst credit card you could ever have in your wallet. The interest is sickening. They are price gouging and taking advantage of people. I am reporting to the BBB. Blue Card don't get caught in the scam. Horrible customer service. Go elsewhere....”

“Compré una Motion Coffee table y en la madrugada cayó al suelo , los llamé para que me ayudaran con alguien que me pudiera ayudar para repararla , y lo que me dijeron que era un problema de fábrica. Una mesa nueva , es increíble cada vez es menos la calidad de estos muebles .”

“I was the victim of a classic bait and switch at the Pembroke Pines / Cooper City location. The agent whom I have been dealing with (with my wife) represented a price on a sofa. For the next several weeks, we confirmed the price and experimented with changing movable units within the sofa. In other words, we took out and added pieces which altered the price. However, at all times the base price was established and confirmed. Yesterday, Sunday, August 11, 2024, I came into the location and was told that the base price was never the amount which , I put down in my phone notes and which was discussed at nausea. I spoke with the manager who told me “well The price I see on the table adjacent to the sofa is the price we have. I basically don’t believe what you wrote in your notes and we can’t do anything for you.” This is a prime example of a store, trying to take advantage of a customer, who was meticulous in taking notes about what was initially discussed. They didn’t count on the latter. I wonder how many people will fall into the same trap and pay for something after being lured in under fraudulent pretenses. I happen to be an attorney, practicing in the state of Florida, for more than 30 years and who specializes in actions under a statute called “the Florida deceptive and unfair trade practices act“ (FDUTPA). If I was prosecuting this, under a scenario where I had spent the money and experienced damages, I would be suing El Dorado. I hope others do not encounter the damages aspect.”

“The worst furniture I ever bought in my life.! Customer service absolutely disgusting. Don't buy cheap shi*y furniture. Pay the two $s and go to bears or rob and stucky. Period. I would never buy another thing from this shi* hole ever! Period!”

“El Dorado bank . Comenity Capital Bank stay away from them. They are horrible to get loan from. My home got destroyed in Florida hurricane 2023 and they put me on disaster relief. I had to move out my house and they reported to my credit report I didn’t pay but gave me few months. I call ask speak to manager black lady and she said I’m sorry but I can’t do anything. I told her no one told me it would go on my credit. I’m big on paying my bills and keeping my credit up. I tried fighting the Blucard but no help. Than I make my payment they system show I paid but money still in my account. I call ask but she tell me they have it and I had send in my bank statement to show on date than they go back report late. The furniture was $12k and I paid most of when purchase just $2500 build my credit even more. This loan is good lender to get card from Comenity Capital Bank.”

“Have returned dresser 2 times and no type of compensation for the inconvenience. The dresser was expensive. I will not buy from them anymore and will advise others as well.”

“On the 20th of April my husband and I went to Eldorado in Fort Myers to buy a king size bed and on the 24th it was delivered with in a week I tried to inform them the mattress was old they refused to take it back and told us we perched it as it why would we knowing that the mattress was the showroom mattress and pay full price for nine hundred dollars with no warranty now they want to take back the mattress and give us five hundred dollars store credit to buy a new mattress when the cheapest one in the store is over six hundred dollars. If we wanted a cheap mattress we would not have gone for a nine hundred dollars one. I am so upset because my husband retire from the army and we have been looking forward to upgrading our bed all we see is disappointment.”

“I bought four (4) dinner table chairs and a dinner table on which I spent approximately almost $4,000.00 US DOLLARS at El Dorado located at 12201 Pines Blvd, Pembroke Pines FL, 33026. One of the chairs came with a hole so I immediately contacted the store and the salesperson via telephone and text messages (which I have for the record). I kindly requested a new chair since I have spent almost $10,000 US dollars in this company for the month of April 2024 on furniture (I have all the invoices). The chair that was damaged (Helena Side chair) was approximately $300.00 US dollars. I requested the store and the sales representative, via phone call and text messages, for them to exchange the chair since not only did I spend a lot of money in this store but also, I immediately contacted and informed the salesperson within the same week. As of now, the chair has not been exchanged and they are giving me the run-around. I find it very disturbing that I have spent so much money with you guys and I’m not getting the right service. I already contacted my bank about the property that I bought which came damage and I claim was place. All I’m asking is for the chair to be replaced.”

“Mucho cuidado con aceptar un plan de financiamiento aquí, no te explican nada, no te mandan el contrato te dicen que son 24 meses cuando en realidad son 18 y al vencerse los 18 te cobran $1,000 dólares de interés, cuando no fue lo que la vendedora te explicó, y resulta que esa persona ya no trabaja con ellos y te echan la culpa a ti, jamás jamás vuelvo a comprar muebles en el Dorado y menos en esta tienda. Totalmente decepcionada.”

“Avoid doing business with El Dorado Furniture. In my opinion, they sell crappy quality furniture & do not honor the honor warranty on the furniture. We bought dining chairs onine from El Dorado Furniture. The chairs included a 1 yr warranty against manufacturers defects. The chairs started peeling after about 10 months. We contacted El Dorado to have a repair or replacement done. They refused to honor their warranty & claimed peeling was not due to manufacturers defect without even inspecting them. Two months after our initial filling they finally sent an inspector. The inspector told me (in person) that the peeling was due to a manufacturers defect & they would need to be replaced. (This was recorded on my security camera.) For the next 3 weeks I kept calling & emailing El Dorado to find out when the replacement chairs would be ordered. They kept being evasive & saying they were waiting on the report from the inspector. Today we received an email today saying the inspector (lied to us) said it is not a manufacturer defect & that they would not replace the chairs. It is clear that El Dorado has no intention of honoring their warranty & has been deceitful & playing a game of continuous delays. We feel we are being lied to and scammed by El Dorado Furniture.”

“Tuve la peor experiencia en El Dorado Furniture, la entrega de una cama fue la peor, tuve que esperar más de 90 días, tuve q volver a financiar pq se había expirado el plazo d la primera orden, la vendedora Rosanna no explicó bien a la hora de la venta, dijo; que la cama llegaría a mediados de Sept y aún estamos sin la misma hata este martes 10. Como dijo el chofer del delivery, ellos para vender son muy buenos, pero a la hora de la entrega son los peores.”

“My wife and I spent over $30,000 furnishing our new home in Port St. Lucie Florida. Our sales person, Doris, sold us an adjustable bed frame, and a mattress that was incompatible with the frame. She told us that we have 30 days to return the mattress if we were not satisfied, and after several weeks of bad back aches, we told her that we wanted to return the mattress. She told her that mattress was on final sale which she was unaware of, and that she was very sorry. The mattress and bedframe cost us $5000 and El Dorado furniture refused to do anything about it. My wife contacted American Express and made a dispute claim against El Dorado furniture, which is being honored, and they will not get paid for the bad service and faulty merchandise. Do not shop here because they do not stand behind the merchandise that they sell. They are as inflexible about their return policies as the mattresses are inflexible on our backs.”

“I ordered back in June. The furnitures were in back order. I called today to st Petersburg to schedule my delivery since on Aug I was told my furnatures are ready for delivery. A customer service representative called Carmen claimed not able to resolve the apparent issue. She is new a no other manager or representative at st Petersburg store was available. This is not acceptable. My sale representative was Lance.”
