I called corporatold them. The car was empty. The car was filthy. I cleaned the seats with the Palm street cleaner. They told me they would reimburse me. When I called up there, they told me they wasn't given me anything until my insurance company paid them. Which has absolutely nothing to do with me.
Email me and then not respond. I would not rent a car from them. I disputed the charges. They're not gonna get my money. It's not my job to collect. Insurance money for them”
“I had a terrible customer experience at the Preston Highway location in Louisville, Kentucky. I reserved a Dodge Charger, but no one contacted me beforehand to inform me that the car wasn’t available. When I arrived, I was told the car wasn’t there and was offered a Toyota Camry instead. It felt like they expected me to be desperate and accept whatever was available. When I reached out to customer service, I was told they were simply too busy to notify customers about changes which is b.s. because thats not been the case at other locations. Extremely disappointing. Do better!”
“I made reservations for a car when I made it to the office I was told that they see my reservation but sorry we don't have a vehicle available the one we had for you is at the shop getting an oil change..I go back an hr later I was told to wait until the next day. Come the next day I was told it will have to be Monday so I advise if you can rent from somewhere else go with that cause enterprise will disappoint you”
“My rental car broke down they wanted me to drive 45 minutes away to go pick up another car since that is where it was towed. I live 5 minutes away from an enterprise rental car. He never could tell me why I needed to drive 45 minutes away from where I live to rent a car. All he said was that no one had told him if the car that was towed in was there or not. I left and came home and called enterprise number at the airport and the lady gave me a number and the man confirmed the car was there. it took all of five minutes or less. I will be going to another location and picking up a rental.”

“I have received the most horrible customer service from the Enterprise (Saunders location) in Laredo Texas. On Tuesday morning (9/17) p.m. the insurance company sent them the reservation so that I could pick up a rental. I was approved for a mid sized SUV. I was advised that the only car available was a minivan. I am not used to driving large vehicles, so I declined. I was told to call back in the afternoon when they would have vehicle available. I called several times and was advised that they had nothing (not even the minivan). As instructed, I called the next morning (9/18). This time I was offered an F 250 work truck. Again, I declined. I was advised that I would be contacted as soon as a mid-sized vehicle became available. It is now Thursday (9/19). I never received a call. I called the manager, who informed me that he had a jeep Wagoneer available, but I would need to pay the difference. I advised him that it had been days and their store had been unable to provide me with a vehicle. He proceeded to argue with me, stating that I had been offered cars, but I had declined. I informed him that I was not comfortable maneuvering big vehicles. He replied that if that was the case, why did I want a Wagoneer. I informed him that I had no idea what a Wagoneer was, but I wanted ANY car at this point. He stated that 1) a car had been made available. 2) The Wagoneer was as big as a suburban. I told him that I couldn't drive a suburban either and the manner he was handling my reservation was unacceptable. He advised me that I could call another location and offered to transfer me. This is the worst customer service I have ever received.”
“Terrible customer service and an opportunistic money grabber. Car dealer gave me a rental from them cause they had to do some repairs on the car I bought and 10 months later enterprise is asking me to pay $198 cause their relation with that dealer broke up. A week later they sent me a letter that I can’t rent a car from them again!!!! Instead of going after the dealership that didn’t pay them they come after the customer. Called 3 times asking for a manager and they just don’t care to call back. Pathetic!!!”

“Rented a one-way from Colorado to Wyoming. Colorado side hassled me about 'we don't take debit cards normally' and wanted a credit card - even though I had an online account and had prior customer rentals on file. I've never had this before, debit cards have been used on every rental from Orlando to Washington, same card even.
I dropped vehicle off following day and Wyoming side took 30 minutes to check it in AFTER I left. Thankfully, I made an point to arrive 1hr 30min before a 2nd day would be charged, but no reason to try to run out the clock. Won't be going back unless absolutely have to - very disappointing.”
“My rental car broke down twice in the time I had it. I also had to get one of the tires filled with air repeatedly. Finally I called them to come pick up the dead car and the guy with road side assistance was a total jerk. He would not fix the problem and then said he had to go so he could keep the line open. What the???? Customer service sucks and they don't take care of their cars. Never will I ever use them again.”
“Let's start upon pulling into enterprise there was a car sitting in the lot dark Grey Nissan Altima when I went inside I asked what kind of car would i be getting.and pointed to the one sitting there. Employee said that would look exactly like that car but that one was getting an oil change so it would not be that car. I asked if they had anything else as this car for me sit really low and not easy to get in and out of. He advised they didn't have anything else at the time. So waited for car that they were supposedly cleaning and washing for me to drive they said sorry for the wait. Low and behold here comes a washed car same color same make same year still wet. Parks right next to the car that was there when we pulled in. Approx 5 to 10 minutes later they advise car is ready. My husband and I are walking to the just cleaned car and the rep takes us to the car that had been sitting out since our arrival. He says no to the clean car and says this is the car he opens the door and it was filthy not cleaned and smelled like someone had just smoked a bong. I am a cigarette smoker and not once smoked in this car not even outside of it if windows were down smoked before then drove it . Upon return you could still smell the weed just not as prominent anymore. And now they want to say it smells like cigarettes believed that I didn't smoke in the car but since getting in afterwards remnants and they couldn't rent it out until detailed and they would cut the cost in half. So im sorry they couldn't even find an ash because wasn't ever smoked in. So now I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place. I suggest if your a smoker don't rent from enterprise ever again. Anytime previously in other states enterprise was my go to never again. I'd they had a zero choice itt wouldnt have even been a 1 star review. Be concerned!!!!”
“They are a fraud company. They charge huge security deposits and then levy unseen charges later to not return the money. Their management is fraud, they have also resorted to blackmailing and taking advantage of situations where tourists don’t have an option but agree to pay. Sincere request to not avail their services if you don’t want to end up losing your hard earned money.”

“This is about the Enterprise at LAX. We rented a car from them in August. After we returned it, they claimed we dented it. Not true. We disputed it. They continued to insist we dented it.
Make sure to take pictures of your car and also have them sign off when you return the car.”
