“Rented a van in Terre Haute on US 41 South in May for our Florida trip. It was filthy and had gravel in the floorboard throughout. Had to take it back before we left to have it re-cleaned and they did a half ass job. Their excuse was that it came from soldiers at Camp Atterbury. NO EXCUSE. Then my son rented a van in Mattoon, IL and when he drove an hour and a half to pick it up they told him the tire had a nail in it and he had no rental. Said they would call with on when they found another and NEVER called. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE TO SAY THE LEAST. I WILL RENT FROM ANYWHERE BUT ENTERPRISE.”

“I rented a car because someone had crashed into me, so my car was out for repair at Caliber Collision in Hollywood. When my car was repaired and I went to Caliber to pick it up, I brought someone with me, so we could then drive the rental back to Enterprise on Hillhurst. Someone at Caliber told me just to leave the car there and they would get it back to Enterprise. I trusted he was correct and that Enterprise could trust Caliber, its agent. I knew I had minor damage to the front lip of the car, which I had documented with photos and a report at my office where I'd done this little damage, costing about $100. I also had a witness of the condition of the car when I brought it to Caliber.
After I returned the car I got a notification from Enterprise that the rental had over $900 in damage!!! Obviously, this happened on Caliber's watch, but Enterprise wouldn't stand up for their agent, instead billing me for $900 and threatening to send the account to collections if I did not pay. I offered to pay for the damage I caused, in the full amount shown on their invoice (a little over $100) but they wouldn't accept that. They want to charge me $900. I don't know who is the bad guy-- Enterprise or Caliber. But it's not me. BE SURE TO TAKE PHOTOS OF THE CONDITION OF ANY CAR YOU LEAVE AT CALIBER BECAUSE ENTERPRISE WILL CHARGE YOU FOR DAMAGE THAT CALIBER WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR.”

“After renting cars from National and Enterprise for over 20 years I am disgusted. I returned a car that I had for 4 days and got a receipt with no damage. 6 weeks later, got an email that apparently there was “damage”that they wanted me to pay for after or report to my insurance and I had a loss damage waiver on the rental. Even got a return email at what someone thought would be 1:43 am in the morning with a follow up email not knowing that I was on the West Coast.”
“Enterprise germany, very poor assistance
Enterprise Germany None of their phone number will offer English language option.... you have to find someone to help you. Roadside assistance is a joke... if you are ever able to reach them (even with a German speaking help) they will get it all wrong, i have waited 6.5 hours to get a replacement vehicle when there were 4 enterprise branches in a 1-hour radius... one of them 15 km away. You would think that roadside assistance would arrange a replacement vehicle... but no! I had to harass the renting branch to get anything done. For the whole day i was not able to reach roadside assistance, i was getting we are sorry all our line are busy call back later. I was lucky to be close to the customer i was visiting who helped me with translation and took me out of the cold.... i was stranded on the side of the road in the cold. As a we are sorry for the inconveniences i got to drive one of Enterprise Fiat transport van back to Freiburg roughly 500 KM when there were at least 8 cars in the parking lot of the branch that helped me. They do not care about their customer; this was my second bad experience with them, and it is now over. Never again i will do business with them, i will strongly advise my colleagues to not use them anymore.”
“My personal car got repaired so my insurance corporation GEICO rented a vehicle from Enterprise Rent-A-Car for me.
Finally, GEICO paid the rental fee but Enterprise charged me another $331 for "Damage Insurance". I feel weird about it. I am sorry and angry about this.

Horrible Experience!
First, The rental car we reserved wasn't what we received. We were supposed to have a mid-size pick up, Chevy Colorado or similar, and the only car they had was a very small Hyundai Venue. Second, The Hyundai would hesitate and the engine quit when at a stop light a couple of times, but restarted. Then a week later the engine dies on a 6 lane road while stopped at a light. The engine would not restart this time. We had to push off the road and finally got it in a parking lot. Which was crazy because of all the traffic on the 6 lane road. We understand things happen and were not upset at this point. We called the local location we rented from and explained what happened. We asked if they would bring a new replacement car out to our location, 6 miles away. They said NO! We do not do that and you need to call the Roadside assistance number. So we called and were told to call 911! We asked why do we need to call 911. The man said that they needed to know that we were safe and that the police needed to verify everything and call the roadside assistance number to verify before anything could be done. We asked to just dispatch a tow truck and we were not going to call 911. After several minutes arguing with the Enterprise employee, he finally agreed to send a tow truck. He said the tow truck would be there in 90 minutes or less and we needed to stay with the car until the tow truck showed up. After 90 minutes, no tow truck. We called the Roadside assistance number again to tell them that no tow truck showed up in the 90 minutes. They called the tow truck company and informed us it would be another 4-5 hours and that we needed to stay with the car. No Way! This is not our car and we already waited 90 minutes. I called the local location and she told me she could not do anything until the car was picked up and checked out on why the engine died and would not restart. I told her we were not going to sit there for another 4-5 hours and could someone come and pick us up. She refused! So we took an UBER home at our expense. I called later to find out when we could pick up another car. Guess what? They were out of cars. I called several times over the next couple of hours and no one answered. I emailed Enterprise customer service 4 days ago and have had NO RESPONSE. I wanted to work this out with Enterprise instead of writing a negative review, however, it is now 5 days after this all happened and we have not heard from anyone at Enterprise customer service or the local office where we rented the car from. We called Hertz yesterday and we will be picking up a new rental car this morning. We will NEVER do business with Enterprise ever again!!!”

But yesterday they called my husband after 3p.m and they said they want back their car coz our car will be not fixed,and their car- my husband has to be back till 11a.m today,if he will return later he has to pay for full day,doesn't matter that they did called after 3 p.m and later 6p.m then they did explain all situation.
Is also is another option: they will pick up from our home a car. guess what till then they can pick up?-5p.m, wow...so I have to cancel for my baby playgroup, sit at home with kid and wait them not till 11a.m but till 5p.m now till they pick their car. Not even 24 hours notice they give to us.”
