I took out a policy as a first time driver to then be told there was an extra charge of almost £200 to actually install the black box ( on top of the deposit ) .. no sort of communication in regards to arranging the black box installation and also a threat of cancelling the policy if it wasnt installed within 14 days. I then decided to CANCEL my policy with them and save myself the hassle, took 2 days to get through to actually cancel. They said they would deduct around £100 for the 2 days i had on th epolicy and that i had to wait 30 days fo my refund. I have in writing the amount to be refunded and the date it should be refunded by which is 30 days after actually contacting them to cancel. 30 days has now lapsed and no refund and no means of getting back in touch with them. Have already raised this with Gocompare, the Financial ombudsmen and the FCA. DO NOT TAKE INSURANCE WITH THIS COMPAN

WORST CAR INSURANCE COMPANY GOING!!!! They sent someone out to fit my black box (I’ve had two with my old car with a different company and never had any issues) I now have a bigger newer car so again was thinking all would go well! Nope! The man that came to install it took my keys and told me to wait in my house until he was finished, fine, no problem! He called me to say all was done after about 45 minutes only to be told ‘your blackbox is all done but I have drained and killed of your car battery so your going to need to get a new one, I’ve spoken to my manager already and he said it isn’t my fault and there’s nothing we can do so don’t complain’ they have since cancelled my policy and refusing to refund me because apparently it’s a problem with my car battery so not there fault! I have had my battery checked by a mechanic and it is completely fine!!!! I’m 8 months pregnant! Missed a diabetic hospital appointment because I had no car to get there and now out of pocket my deposit and have had to pay out for a new policy with another company! There customer service is S***, not only can you never speak to the same one person, but they put you on hold for 45+ minutes and I was even laughed at down the phone by one of there young, inexperienced ‘customer service advisors’ do NOT use this disgusting company.

My daughter sold her car and cancelled her insurance she was told it would take 30 days to process the refund time has lapsed still no refund. No one from "customer service " answering her e-mails. Very poor customer service, still waiting for response

My daughter cancelled her policy as no longer needed a car, arranged the refund and was told it would be 30 days, time has lapsed no one from customer service are answering her e-mail requests for her refund. Very poor service still not resolved

AVOID AVOID AVOID !!!!!!!!!! If I could record this conversation with Mr. "Houson Ajaz" he swear at me "F"£$%" I don't understand You! I rang today 03.09.2019 at 12:05 so maybe the owners of this company will listen to this conversation please? I prefere to pay £200 more that use Your company. AVOID AVOID AVOID.

Auto saint, ain’t no saint! Got me with their dodgy policy, which is a total rip off! Before buying it been ensured, that with the black box installed and good rating my insurance cost will drop, they gonna add some miles, give promotions etc... They never fully disclosed their price list and intimidated to buy the insurance asap. After 5 months of driving, rating was over 70%, but it made no difference. Turned out to be opposite. After 3000 miles they added 1686£ additional charge to increase annual mileage by 8000. A countless number of hidden charges, such as 180£ for the address update (which was removing existing address) in total now paying almost 4000£ premium on Mazda 3 1.6 (insurance group 13E, 5 years driving experience). On top of that, customer service was one of the poorest I have ever used. The consultants were extremely rude and slow. To make a call you have to wait at least 30 minutes to get on the line and with the constant dropouts. Working time, although advertised 7.30pm, no one bothers to answer after 5pm. Stay away from it, and if you don’t, read all tease and sees as there are many hidden traps so you cannot later cancel it and you will need to pay for it even if you sold the car.

Called to get insurance 8 months ago and the advisor rang me back with an offer. The company I work for has moved and as I have to have a black box fitted and thus extra miles. I rang as I was clocking up more mileage. Then told it would be £65 admin charge and another £350 to add 2000 miles extra for the 4 months I had left on my policy. As I was not told about the extra mileage costs or the £65 admin fee on purchasing my insurance and not able to check my broker before purchasing I am very unhappy with the way I have been treated and feel Autosaint take advantage of young drivers.

This is an appalling company to deal with full of hidden costs and incompetence. My son took out his first insurance with them and had a black box fitted. He shares his time across two addresses which he told them about initially but they didn't put this in the policy so when the Blackbox picked up the different overnight parking he was quoted £400 on three occasions to be further insured, in addition to his £1200 policy. When I stepped in and called the quote suddenly changed to £30 plus an admin charge of £65 when it was their admin error in the first place! I didn't really want my son to continue to be insured with a company with this standard of customer care but they have you over a barrel - to cancel, we would only get a refund of £669.16, so £600 for 5 weeks insurance! As soon as this year is up we will avoid using this company and I have very little trust that they will be any use should we need to claim. My advice is shop around - don't use these guys because you think it's cheaper - you will get ripped off!

I have a blackbox fitted in my car and they are trying to cancel my insurance for apparently going down a road too fast when the road limit is faster than I was doing and I have NEVER BEEN DOWN THE ROAD

DO NOT USE this company. My little sister had an accident and they didn't even ask the road of the accident. They didn't assure her they were there to help either. They gave her the contact details of the third parties insurance to fix her car herself. We pay all this money for these people to do minimal. The customer service here is appalling and admitting liability to an accident that was not the drivers fault is their main concern. I wouldn't even give this company a one star review.

Was considering going with this company until I rang them to go through some details with the black box, first person I spoke to talked over me and was very unhelpful. Second person I spoke to was so rude and unhelpful! Hung up on me mid sentence after I told him I’d already gotten my quote online, disgusting customer service and backed up with countless reviews on how shoddy a company they are made me avoid them completely and thank god!

My daughter took out insurance with this company nearly 2 years ago, no problems at all or with renewal, the black box was great, no problems. We spoke to them 2 times about change of vehicle, first time they advised us that Aviva might not cover the new car and cancel the policy, second conversation yesterday was an eye opener! cancelled insurance and when i queried no cover they said my daughters new car was too expensive for them to cover, chap also said if we found aviva on comparison site they would offer us a quote but because of cancellation we couldnt use them. Which is really confusing as they said aviva had cancelled when what they really meant was that Fresh had cancelled and then charged us a fee as well, then told us my daughter would lose her no claims because she cancelled! Waiting time to get through was really bad as well, Baware.

The worst insurance company ever stay away!! Cancelled my insurance after 1 month due to no putting forward a claim I made 2 years ago even after numerous attempts of telling them there was never a claim to even made!! Phoned 4 times for my ncb to be sent through and still not recieved it. Then claim I owe them £286 because they cancelled my policy , cost me a fortune for nothing worth going to a proper insurance company worth the extra money

Awful company.. trying to charge me £750 for an extra 1000 miles. Even though on there website it says it will be an extra 2.5% per extra 1000 miles from you orginal premium.

absolute disgrace because i didnt declare a accident i was involved in 2 yrs ago i was not at fault our van was written off i didnt claim injuries autosaint ring my daughter its her policy on her own car i am only a named driver and demand 100 pounds off her or they will cancel her policy the same day i will be seeking advice elsewere about our next move to getting the money back on this note DO NOT PURCHASE A POLICY WITH AUTOSAINT seems they will try and get get money out of you any way they can yes it was my fault i forgot about my accident on a differant policy with a differant insurance company i accept that what i do not accept is the fact that autosaint can just demand 100 pounds or they will cancel the policy
