Went online said could colldct within hr. Paid. Confirmation email then said 17th june. Nothing. 18th june nothing. Northwich shop not interested. They have goods on shelf but can not fill order. Policy. Customer service not interested now saying at least 22nd june. Will never use the shop again

Went to collect a dog bed at after ordering through click and collect and not a single member of staff were available. We stood waiting for over 20 minutes and then finally found an unhelpful member of staff who said she would fetch someone who deals with click and collect. Another 15 minutes later another miserable member of staff gave us the dog bed. No apology either.

Totally inept website...hard to understand where you're navigating unless you download their app then it's still completely cr*p ..nearly out of food and won't let me order

Our new cat loo's swing door broke within a month. Went back to Inverness to see if they had any other makes. This is a fault as they were trying to sell ones without a door for £10. Anyone else had this problem.

My daughter went to pets at home today to buy a hamster for her son she had already bought a cage from somewhere else which she had with her she was told she couldn’t have a hamster unless she bought. Another cage which was 45 pound She had trialled along way on buses to. Get a hamster and was upset. When was told she couldn’t buy a hamster I would like an explanation why they told her this. The cage she had already got was. For a hamster. And nothing wrong with it I’m very angry that she wasn’t allowed to buy a hamster I have bought many animals in my time and have never come across this situation before

I bought a bed for my dog Sami at pets at home in Salisbury & was served by Liv, (Lilly Clarke ) who was very efficient kind helpful , solving the problem there & then! The customer service I received from her was excellent, I will definitely be shopping there again

I have been a loyal customer at pets at home for years. Have bought pets, accessories and food and always found the customer service great. What has gone wrong! Bought a fabric travel crate from them last week for a journey. It turned out to be faulty with a cheap dodgy zip that came open - leading to our dog escaping and jumping around my car while I was on the motorway. Took it back to the store to ask for a replacement with a metal crate. Because I didn’t have the receipt they just hid behind policy and refused to do anything to help. Rude, belligerent ‘computer says no’ staff. No appreciation for my years of custom, for the danger their faulty product put me or my dog in. Raising a complaint with head office and will be speaking to trading standards. Won’t be shopping here again. AVOID THIS COMPANY.

Ive had numerous orders that i have never received although i paid for monthly subscriptions and never received numerous replacement orders or a refund. Customer service kept on stating orders were being reordered. Total lies. Avoid this company. Very unprofessional!!!!!!!!!

The lack of assistance, professionalism or any sort of customer service offered by an individual who was supposed to be the Kilmarnock store Manager was hard to believe, The obvious lack of training in customer engagement, never Management was on full display, This individual certainly has done nothing to enhance the Company they represent, or employs them,

I was treated with disrespect when i tried to buy a cold-water fish, apparently it was policy not to sell a single fish but for me to buy a couple as they were shoal fish. When i tried to explain to the Manager in Market Harborough that i already had fish at home i was told it was their policy, when i asked if i could see the policy she just replied with a straight no! I left and i wont be back, not even to buy bulk dog food.

Setup repeat order for dog food. The date just drifts on and is never ordered. Instead have to buy manually every time on the site. The expected and agreed date never happens and you don’t know when it will arrive. Whole process is poor.

Awful company. I set up a monthly scheme where as the sent me flea and worm treatment monthly for my 2 dogs. All seemed good. First month they took the money on the 3rd of the month and nothing at the end of the month unable to complete the order and refunded order cancelled by them. By this time they had already taken the money. Then nothing processing delivery date came and went nothing 3 weeks and nothing, this time I cancelled the repeat order cancelled on their site and on PayPal and raised a dispute on PayPal I have messaged pets at home and yes nothing no one ever got back to me I messaged on PayPal nothing no one got back to me. So online they are completely rubbish and have no customer support and will take your money hold it for a month then refund. I urge to think twice before you use the online service of this company. I will not knock the shops as each shop is different and comes down to the staff. But online you have been warned.

Can I just say that we were stuck with our decision of new food for our very fussy mature cat. While we were debating, again, not wanting to waste more money on food he would not east, a very helpful Ronan in Rustington Branch, came over to us and said that he could help with our dilemma. Well we were relieved that there was someone that sounded like they knew what we were facing! Ronan explained about his cat and that he suggested the same food, being Seriously Good, we looked and listened. Well what a choice, he loves it so much there is nothing left on his plate, ever! Thank you Ronan we cannot thank you enough for your time and advice.

Dont try and complain. The web chat and complaints pages are non functioning. How do these companies expect any repeat custom? I bought a pack of fish food in May 2024 to find it went out of date November 2022. Thats 18 months out of date. What other ‘tricks’ are they pulling?

I joined their VIP club in March when having a new puppy, got a few vouchers which I found to be quite useful. However once I updated their app, my account was lost and my vouchers were gone. Called their customer services and they send me my list of vouchers through email and said I can use them ins stores. However once I go to the store, they refused me to use it. Called their customer services again and said it is because I don’t have those voucher in my app which they failed to do this with my account. So what happens now is that I keep receiving email asking me to use the vouchers which I can’t use and can only see them going to expired. Second thing is that I bought an extension lead which was recommended by their sales. Happily used it for 5 mins before the lead cut my leg. This could have caused far much serious issue if it cuts a children. Called their centre about the low quality product but all I got is “you can’t refund a used product”. It only shows how lack of awareness in their products quality and have no intention looking into the matter. They always argue they are unable to find my transaction so that they couldn't proceed further which is an absolute joke. I bought their product using the VIP card, even their staff in the store could find my record. Only when their RUDE store manager comes in, suddenly my record is gone as if I did not buy the product from them. Which such kind of store manager, I highly doubt what kind of quality they are offering to their customers.

I ordered 2 30 litre sacks of cat litter through pets at hime app. For some inexplicable reason it kept showing the wrong delievery address. I corrected it but when I recieved the confirmation email the wrong address was on it. I went into my app to cancel the order there is no cancellation option . I tried to update my personal details their website is down so that's not possible. Next day Monday I tried to contact their customer service there is no phone number only live chat which I kept getting disconnected from. Eventually I was assured by an agent that the address was now changed to my address. This morning I recieved an email from DPD that the courier missed me and it was redelivered tomorrow with a photo of the wrong address. Not my house. I went through the entire rigmarole again. I tried ringing my local pets at home store and was I formed that under this dreadful new system he couldn't assist me and there's been numerous complaints from people. Pets at home are probley the worst customer service I've had the misfortune to experience & thats really saying something. There is absolutly no customer after care at pets at home. As things are right now I still don't have my order and I can't guarantee it will come to my correct home address when they redeliver tomorrow. In conclusion Pets at Hone after care are Absolute an rubbish service . Avoid! Avoid ! Avoid! I will never use this company again.

Easy repeat delivery date will slip and slip. I use repeat services with other places and never had the issues I have with Pets at Home easy repeats. Really confusing to find the repeat order to change on the app and website. App says the order is due on i.e. 18th, BUT this is when the payment is taken and not the order delivered. Delivery will then give you a new date i.e 20th. Delivery date 20th will give you a tracking number with DPD. This will then give you another delivery date 22nd. Really confusing to find the repeat order to change on the app and website. For example the moment your order is taken, delivered or not and the next order is earmarked for payment. You can change it to later but not earlier. Please note this is payment not delivery as said on the website/app. When I ran out of food and tried to change the date to earlier before the easy order was process this was not possible. ( even though payment had not been taken and I had over a week before the delivery date (payment) was showing) The change I made on the site for earlier delivery has shown for the next one. However I thought this was the delivery date it said delivery date. It is not it is the payment date. Delivery is a week later. I changed the frequency of the order for the next delivery to take in the actual delay of delivery (still awaiting this delivery) and found I could change it but the payment date was the same. Went to the option Next delivery date- Change date it does not let me change it to earlier. I can only change to later. So now I know again I will be out of food. I now know that this date is the take payment date and not when the food will be arriving. Add on that delivery time of about a week.

I'm sick to death now of having so many issues with easy repeat. You can't speak to anyone as you guys don't believe in speaking using your mouth . So many issues time after time after time. Food doesn't turn up. I've had to reset up my account so many times as welll. I just want to pay for the food and for the food to arrive. It isn't hard/difficult but you guys make it so hard. I should be able to forget about it not have days of trying to sort it

Dreadful service. Only received one cat’s flea treatment, and after weeks of emailing to no response and queuing in the online chat, I got nowhere. No refund, and no ability to sort on my account. Three weeks later, I’ve given up and blocked them from my bank, and set with Protect my Pet, which has been easy so far.
