Absolute zero support for suppliers. I have been locked out, they implemented requiring an Authenticator app, but don't supply a QR code. You can't call them, you can't email them, you can't chat with them. Our rep is out of the office for 2 weeks with noone available to assist us. For such large company they are a complete joke. Probably going to drop them, as soon as I can access my account again. Pathetic.

It's evident that I fell victim to a scam. I was lured into investing more than $120,500 under the impression that I was earning profits. However, when I attempted to withdraw my earnings, they continuously demanded additional funds before allowing me to access any of my money. I had a booking from Kandy, Ella Sri lanka on the blue train I had this booked for over a month before going ,I had downloaded the app and my tickets where there. I asked a question about the availability for changing my destination, and they said that there were no more, tickets in 1st Class, for which I paid $105 each for two tickets. When we reached our hotel the day before,I went on the app just to check , and that was when I discovered they had canceled my tickets. We had travelled 3 hours to get the train from Kandy. I did not want to cancel just wanted to ask the question. I did get a refund,but we had to get our driver to take us to Ella which cost us more with our trip which was unnecessary. I noticed the tickets were being sold again for $138 dollars each. I would suggest that anyone wanting to buy tickets don't get conned that they are in demand, I met so many people who had issues with this. We had to get our Driver to drive us to Ella. I am going to contact the Tourist police about this issue as I think it's a scam. And the last thing Sri Lanka wants is a bad review by tourists as the government has a private company look after the get-your-guide trains. From what I've learned they sell all these tickets then, cancel some and resell them at a higher price. I met people who only paid $12 .I had an online chat to find out why they had canceled in the first place ,and what came back was there was civil unrest in the country which was a lot of b sh... because the train hadn't been canceled and our driver said straight away this is a scam. D

694 / 5.000 Very bad experience with Get your guide. One week before the trip to Athens I found out that 2 of the 5 people planned couldn't come. I wanted to cancel the tickets I had bought long before. It cost me half a day and I got nothing done. They bombarded me with a lot of paragraphs and the two tickets, each costing 12.99 euros, were not refunded. People, give the company a wide berth. They've grown too big and individual customers are no longer valued there. I lost more time and nerves than the two tickets cost (26 euros). I'm very disappointed and I can't believe that such a big company can be so greedy.

Unreliable service partner. We have provided two experiences via them, for non of them we were paid. We are stopping to accept their tickets. Impossible communication. To every very concrete question we have received just general most probably machine generated answers not answering the questions. After they stopped to communicate.

Such a bad experience. Booked two excursions in Spain, based on what was asvertised. When we received confirmation of the first trip and that it did not include what had been advertised, we cancelled within the fiven time frame. When we enquired about our sexond trip, we were advised that it had been cancelled due to our first trip being a ‘no show’, which wasn’t true because we had cancelled. We were told that we had to book and pay for our second trip again, but that we would be reimbursed. We did so in good faith and had a wonderful experience. However, ipon our return home and after enquiring about our refunds, we had to provide proof of correspondence (cancellation, double payment etc.), which we did, but after that the corresponce stopped and four months later we have yet to be reimbursed.

I have booked many trips with these and usually no issues, I booked a trip to the natural history museum in london, I didn’t realise it’s actually free entry and these guys advertise it as entry and a tour guide but it’s just on the app. I asked for a refund as we didn’t use the tour and there’s free entry but was told we should have checked the terms and conditions!

I purchased four tickets to enter Notre Dame in Paris after the renovation. I waited for the assigned time which was 5 o’clock when I reached the time I showed them my tickets they laughed. They said it was a scam ‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️ entering Notre Dame was free.!!! You can make an appointment online for free. There were lines and lines of people if it wasn’t for the kindness of a Parisian, who allowed us to join her in line we would’ve never seen the interior‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️ I will dispute these charges on my credit card and I will never fall for this scam again.!!!!!!!!

Hi I had a booking with reference number in Venice trip on that day I already arrived around 15 minutes before but because of the location provided on booking.com I was struggling to find the exact point for the boat to leave and I was also continuously contacting the lady but she was also not guiding me properly because of that missed navigation I lost my boat and when I tried to contact customer service to adjust me another trip on same day they didn’t help me with anything and also didn’t give the refund And second thing I also tried to contact on chat service I haven’t ever received such disgusting customer service your employees are really rude not even giving proper explanation and just doing formality on chat service At the end I just want a refund of my booking and will never book from get your guide again

I just took a Get Your Guide day tour to Ninh Binh, Vietnam. The bus arrived exactly within the projected pickup time, the driver was careful in challenging traffic, the guide May was personable, knowledgeable and eager to keep her group happy. Everything was well organized, interesting, and on schedule. I'm not generally fond of group tours, but this one was particularly smooth, informative, and fun and I enjoyed it very much. We booked a tour in Egypt, arrived at the airport, and no guide appeared. We called them several times while at the airport. After explaining the situation, they cancelled the tour and told us to return to the hotel. We did so, paying for the taxi and incurring roaming charges for the phone calls. The entire holiday was based on this tour, and they completely ruined it. We are now back in the UK and unable to contact them. What a surprise

The concept of Get Your Guide is good, as is the seeming ease of use… buts it’s a real bag of worms and I don’t recommend using it. They might advertise the tickets or experiences you want but they rely on local partners to deliver it - in our case, the particular partner was a scammer or was defunct - no communication and later inquiries revealed they didn’t exist! Regardless, Get Your Guide offered our “1st Class reserved tickets” at 3 x the price of other providers (with whom we were lucky to be successful in the nick of time) without actually guaranteeing anything. So ultimately, I feel Get Your Guide is quite disgraceful and thankfully, I got my money back. I won’t using their services again. If you are staying in a reputable hotel, I would recommend contacting them and seeking details of reputable local travel/tour providers. Otherwise you don’t know who’s providing your experience.

Simply scammers. I made a reservation for two days at Disneyland from September 10, 2024 for the first three days of 2025 I paid 860 they never sent me the coupon while in the meantime I had bothered them and they told me that they would send it to me by the date of my activity. When I was in Paris and a day before the activity I sent them messages again, because their phones are definitely not valid, and they told me that they would send them to me shortly by email. It was ten minutes later and I received the cancellation of my reservation. I organized a trip and they ruined it for me. They told me they would refund the money that was made in two days, but they made me rebook a one-day activity at Disneyland and they guaranteed me that there would be tickets available and since I couldn't find anywhere else, I had to rebook it from these scammers. In the end, I was charged 580 euros and there was no availability for that period. They won't refund the last money because that's their policy. I raised three children from Greece, I spent so much money, and these scammers ruined my trip.

I'm writing to express my disappointment and frustration with GetYourGuide I booked the Caribbean Island Hopping & Portobelo Fort excursion and was thrilled about the prospect of visiting several islands. However after taking a 3 hour drive across the country, rough seas and pouring rain greeted us at the venue. It would've been unsafe and irresponsible to continue the tour at this point and we were told there's no refund and we were leaving in 2 days time so a reschedule wasn't possible either. After going back and forth with management, I was over it and my $300 usd seems to have gone down the drain. I would not recommend this tour to anyone.I was promised a call back or email, but they have yet to get back to me. Very unprofessional service. People stay away from these thieves .

HORRIBLE COMPANY WITH BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! This is the most unethical company I have ever dealt with. They took almost $1,200 from me and refuse to refund it or even ANY of it. We booked an excursion for our family that was on a cruise. Well they didn’t give us the time for the event until after it was booked. Which didn’t align with the cruise ships time. We tried to make it on time but were unable to make it. We called and left messages with no call back. So they wouldn’t get us in on the excursion so we were left at port with our whole family just walking around. We were able to chat and email but they refuse to give us our money back. Every company we’ve ever booked with offered transport or assistance to getting to the destination but not this company. And since we booked for a family of 15 they wanted $430 to take a 15 minutes ride to the destination. Most reputable companies would offer some sort of refund especially when they weren’t able to offer any portal of the tour.

I have booked a tour for my trip to Bratislava and Budapest from Vienna initially for Dec. 29. I booked it months in advance and really counted on it. Two days before the trip, I received a message from gettyourguide stating that they cancel my tour because the provider overbooked it. But I still had to go into my profile and cancel the trip myself to get full refund. I found it a little odd but was left disappointed and tried to scramble and arrange this same tour for a different date. I was already in the country! After changing plans and contacting GetYourGuide agent via messager, I found the date and they confirmed that this activity is 100 % confirmed. It was January 3. Two days before my rescheduled tour I received a message from GetYourGuide stating that my credit card didn’t go through but please contact us and we can solve it together. I spent all morning while on my trip on vacation calling my bank, messaging GetYourGuide and figuring out what to do. My case was sent to a “higher department” - I was told by the costumer service. By the way, there is no live person who can help you over the phone. Then 5 hours after I contacted them again, knowing that my activity will be cancelled if I don’t pay 28 hours in advance. I called the activity provider directly to the number I was given. There was no response. So after spending hours in this matter, chatting on WhatsApp with costumers service representatives who didn’t do anything for me, my trip was cancelled by GetYourGuide. It was a disastrous experience that I don’t wish anyone to have. I asked for a direct contact information of a manager of GetYourGuide but my requested was denied. I will share my experience with wider communities and file more complaints. This is a business that has no respect for their customers. They take no responsibility for their action. This business should not exist.

I had never heard of them before I went to Rome and now they are my most hated tour company imaginable. They provide no value whatsoever, they just book up existing tours so they can charge you triple or quadruple the price for the same thing. I paid ÂŁ130 a person to visit the collsuem and they just sent me a voucher of a local company that charges which cost ÂŁ25. Their app is a disaster and just lies about what tours they have and the price changes when you come to book. They provide nothing to tourism except another unwanted expense to your holiday. I hope they go out of business as quicky as they have come onto the scene.

I took a trip to Lower Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend on September 13, 2024, for which I made a reservation via GetYourGuide.com. Initially, I booked for September 11, but then I rebooked for September 13 by clicking a button: Manage your booking. However, I was charged twice for it—$209 for the September 11 trip and $189 for the September 13 trip. I only discovered it when I saw my credit card statement in October. I contacted management and requested a refund for the extra fee, but I was told I had to cancel the previous trip. To me, rebooking implies cancellation of the trip that was booked previously. There is a problem with their website design. It implies that somebody can book the same trip twice, which does not make any sense. In addition, the Manage your booking button is under their site's Cancellation policy (see attached). Therefore, the previous trip should have been canceled automatically once the trip was rebooked. I wonder how many other customers have been caught by this trick. In addition, I would not recommend this trip to anybody. It takes 16 hours, and most time is spent on the bus. The site-seeing (Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend) takes very little time.

They hide your reviews, so if a company is rubbish you will never know. Dont trust anything on this site. I wrote a full review and they removed it.
