Scammers. Selling vouchers that cannot be redeemed (e.g. Sentosa Cablecar in Singapore). Customer service does not reply.

SCAM!!! They took £100 from my account through a booking I didn't make and will only refund me in store credit so have lost my money. This company should not exist!

This is the most terrible tour company I have ever toured with!! They lie simply! The tour guides are unprofessional and very discourteous, the food is horrible, they tell you the tour offers certain activities and it’s a lie, they said tour is only 10 hours it’s a total lie. Don’t waste your money on this crappy company!!!!

The confirmation email clearly stated the following warning: "If you arrive late, you will not be able to enter the Park." For this reason, we left on time and arrived well on time. Our navigation was set to the location specified in the email, not the general address. Both Google Maps and Apple indicated that you could reach the location through the park itself. Upon arrival, we reported to a park employee. He did not recognise our tickets. He then contacted his colleagues which took a lot of time, causing us to risk being late. It turned out that Maps did not correctly indicate that you could not reach the agreed location via the route through the park. Instead, we had to walk down the hill, around the park, and back up the hill. The employee refused to let us go through the park to the guide. In the end, this was a very disappointing experience. We arrived on time, followed the correct route, were forced to take a long detour and had no guide and no entry. They don’t give a refund.

Terrible service. This company is unable to help you in the event of a cancellation. They will not communicate on your behalf to the trip organizer or the Poor organizer. In case of any unforeseen circumstances, they will hang you out dry. I would never use this company again.

Get Your Guide has billed me three times for the same event! Beware when using this company. My charge card company (Barclay), investigated and was satisfied with the evidence that GYG sent. However, they didn't read the evidence! The evidence has someone else's information on it! I am stuck with the bill!

Since 9th July we have been in dispute with GYG over fraudulent charges taken from our bank account for bookings taken via a data security breach. GYG have admitted that bookings were made under a different name (not authorised by us) they have admitted that the payments were fraudulent. However, they claim that they ‘cannot’ refund £500+ for the 3 fraudulent bookings on our account which was caused by their security being breached because WE did not cancel them within 24 hours! We informed them as soon as we received notification of the payments pending on our account. We have been in contact with more than 10 people at GYG, they admit the fraudulent bookings and the fraudulent transactions but refuse to refund the full balance of money to us.

I should have checked this website before. GYG is a scam. They don't run any tours but work as a front to actual tour providers. Zero customer service or understanding. Charged me eventhough I did not attend the tour or was even in the country. Tried to cancel within 2 hours of reservation and got nowhere with them. Avoid them at all costs.

I recently had the misfortune of dealing with GetYourGuide, and I must say it was an utterly disappointing experience. This platform is not only unhelpful but also seems to be working with fraudulent companies, effectively undermining the entire travel industry. Firstly, GetYourGuide does not seem to have any mechanism for verifying the legitimacy of the companies it partners with. This lack of oversight allows any entity to create an account and potentially scam unsuspecting travelers. As a result, the safety and security of users are severely compromised. Moreover, if they suspect you are a genuine company, they are quick to close your account without any valid reason. This arbitrary action indicates a lack of transparency and accountability within their operations. They do not seem to care about the welfare of travelers or the integrity of their platform. It's alarming how easy it is for anyone to set up an account with GetYourGuide and start taking money from customers. This opens the door to countless scams and fraudulent activities, leaving travelers at risk and tarnishing the reputation of legitimate businesses. In conclusion, GetYourGuide is doing more harm than good to the travel industry. They appear to be indifferent to the quality and authenticity of their partners, leading to a hazardous and unreliable service for travelers. I strongly advise against using GetYourGuide until they implement stricter verification processes and take responsibility for the safety and satisfaction of their users.

I reserved 2 cruise tickets in Budapest through this website and when I went their they told me there is no reservation.. we show them the bank transfer but they told that we have to contact the site directly because our names not listed . So I try to find any way to contact them but I couldn't because I didn't receive the booking no. On my email .

Ordered 3 tours in Milan,Italy. Received a cancelation phone call from GYG less then 24hr before these tours, and we're informed that we could visit these sites 2 days later, which was not possible, because we were leaving Italy. They told us that we could apply for refund ($350). We tried to contact the GYG via chat many times and didn't have any luck. Finally spoke with a lady in the office and we got informed that they will send partial refund $ around $100. Also another person emailed us saying that the tour provider won't allow to send any refund after 30 days . I WILL NEVER USE THIS TOUR OPERATOR AGAIN. BAD SERVICE, LOST MONEY AND MISSED TOURS!

Horrible stealing and waste of money. They charge extremely expensive tours and services in order to keep their commissions more than 30% per booking. Avoid them because they sell "nothing " since all the products belong to actuall companies. They are resellers just to collect payments . Book with the real local companies which are extremely knowledgeable and normal prices

I recently booked a short break for me and my son to Rome. This was my son's first break for 6 years due to illness. I month before going i booked a trip to go to the Vatican museums (fast track) this would have been the major highlight to the holiday as my son is highly religious. The trip was also going to fall on my son's 21st birthday too. On the eve of the trip (9.20 pm) i received a email stating that the tour had been canceled due to a bank holiday we were both very disapppointed to hear such bad news. Why had they allowed us to book if they knew it was a bank holiday in the first place and giving us no notice to change. I contacted GET YOUR GUIDE who stated they will speak to there partner in Rome no compensation for a ruined holiday due to neglect. My aim now is to make this situation as public as possible so people don't use GET YOUR GUIDE

AVOID, SCAM! They advertised an activity in a different country and they will not refund our money. We could not attend activity as it was in a completely different country but advertised in the city we were staying and they will not take accountability for their mistake and refund our money back. Poor customer service, terrible experience.

I had a disastrous experience with GetYourGuide on an e-bike and snorkelLing tour in Alicante. The e-bikes were too large and heavy for us, making them unsafe to ride. Despite adjusting the seats, we couldn't touch the ground. The guide sped off without waiting, and we had to return to the shop within minutes due to safety concerns. The tour operator acknowledged the issue and advised us to seek a refund from GetYourGuide. However, GetYourGuide refused our refund request, citing their cancellation policy and ignoring the significant safety issues. As a regular customer with over 40 tours booked on an eight-week trip, I am extremely disappointed with their lack of consideration for customer safety. I will be switching to Viator if this matter isn't resolved. Do not recommend!

After emails and emails, I do not have the answer that need to be given by GetYourGuide - Duomo 21 didn’t knew about GetYourGuide and there was no reservation . So for the cocktail and appetizer I paid, only 30€ instead of 118€ that GetYourGuide asked me . They ask higher values for simple offers that don’t need there services

Probably due to my error there were two identical bookings made and they charged 265.18 twice to my credit card. One charge was reversed when I cancelled the booking the same day but the 2nd has not. I spent too long on the phone trying to straighten this out and today in a follow up call I got a representative who was unintelligible due to her accent and difficulty with English. I am still out 265.18 and guess I will have to deal with visa. After first call sent screen shot of visa statement as requested

Twice we weren’t able to take tours because of ‘hidden’ rules. They take your money and then they’re ‘sorry’ things didn’t work out. Absolutely NO refund. Beware!!! A terrible company!!!!!!!!!

Do not book a tour with GYG. They do not know who their guides are nor care about the tour experiences. We booked a tour for antelope canyon, horseshoe bend, and lake powell. Before the tour the driver contacted us through text message about meeting times. Unbeknownest to us he requested a $15 dollar driver service fee per person after we all paid $1196 for the entire trip. I called GYG and explained that their driver is requesting cash upfront. I asked them about the driver and they do not know who the driver was and did not care. Ended up the driver is the tour guide and doesnt speak English. Worst tour ever had.
