I bought an engagement ring and returned it within appropriate period of time. However, there was a plastic ‘’seal’’ present on the ring (plastic paperlike element that has a unique number printed on it), which I had to remove in order to conduct act of proposal and make it possible for my girlfriend to try the ring. After I proposed and my girlfriend tried the ring - she agreed to my proposal, however we want a different ring, also the one I ordered from Glamira was too big. Therefore - we packed the ring in an original box, we placed the plastic seal in the box and we sent it within a time frame required by Glamira. Glamira answered that they will not return money back because the seal is next to the ring and not placed on it. According to EU law refusal to accept my return based on the condition of the product seal is not in compliance with EU regulations. According to Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 16, section e, returns can only be refused for sealed goods if they are unsuitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons and have been unsealed after delivery. In this case, the ring I returned does not fall under such categories, and thus, the intactness of the seal cannot be used to refuse my return. Moreover, I ensured that all original packaging and certificates were included with the return, maintaining the product's integrity. The seal present in the box next to ring does not impede Glamira’s ability to sell it to another customer. After quite long email exchange with their customer service- I have decided to engage my lawyer. Customer service - only via email, no phone number; automated responses that seems to be automated. In case you want to return your product - this company will make up any excuse and hide behind ''company policy'' to keep your money! Unfortunately for them - company policy cannot be against the law. Our process against this company will start now! Never again with that company!
QUICK UPDATE: they claimed that they will send the ring back. Ring was never sent, money NOT refunded.

After some weeks seems like they found it, but still without my ring even after 4 months I sent it. The customer support (Kim) keeps delaying the service, always a different excuse e never a resolution. I feel like I lost my money. More them 20 years doing e-shop and never had a worst experience.
