Ordered 3 items online, keep receiving texts to say they were ready for collection however, I was away for a couple of days but still in time for the collection. I picked the package up (50 mile round trip) only to find when I got home 1 item was missing, I contacted the store who told me that I needed to contact Customer Services which I did, the girl I spoke to couldn’t have been less interested. I was sent a form in PDF format which I couldn’t edit neither could I print it off as I don’t have a printer. Apparently they cannot carry out an investigation without a form which tells them exactly what I said on the phone. I don’t need this hassle and certainly don’t have the time to sort out work arounds to rectify their error. A poor service from a poor organisation. I absolutely will not order online from them again.

Ordered our tent and other camping orders on line, website states it will be delivered within 10 days, how ever that is a lie, I kept receiving texts to say it will all be sent soon so I felt a little concerned as kept getting the same message so rang customer support only to find out my tent was cancelled for delivery and my other items won't arrive before the 10 days. To top it off I camt get a refund till they decided to finally post the items and then I have to wait another 10 days for a refund, so beware the take your money and have no interest in sending you what you ordered and all you will get is a sorry.

Avoid! Bought several items to collect from store. Told they’d arrived, only to get there and find only one of them had. Which turns out to be incorrect. 3 weeks later I called the store who can’t tell me when the items will turn up at their store, despite them all showing as in stock and available within a week. Managers and customer service all a joke. Go elsewhere, even if the item costs a bit more, terrible company.

Absolutely shocking stock management system, Went to buy a new tent with Autistic son (big change) and drove all the way to shop to look and walk artound tent l was informed that the only stock was they had actually display so could not sell. Then advised to order on line....Drive home check web site shows stock so order one only for it to be cancelled shortly after. This caused further upset to son (and me) so l spoke to customer services who appologised and offered discount but would contact me on Sun to look at other tents.....No call occurred but the web site was showing stock so after a 25min call to customer services who checked stock and confirmed they had 149 in stock so l ordered....no suprise when ten minutes later recieved another cancellation email. Very poor stock management and to a degree customer services...will avoid in future

Returned 2 items on 2 separate days only about 4 days apart. it has taken nearly 8 weeks and I've lost count of how many emails and proof of postage that I've sent to get my refunds. it's an absolute joke I will never order online from go outdoors again. One very unhappy customer.

Have been trying for 6 weeks now to have the missing items from my order to be delivered. Hermes delivered the Coleman’s event shelter but the 2 sun walls I ordered with it were not delivered. I contacted go outdoors immediately and I was sent a form to complete which I did. That was 6 weeks ago. Go outdoors you need to send me my items and deal with Hermes separately. As your customer you have a duty to honour the order. I’m not happy having to constantly chase and getting no where.

Order David £200 worth of items not going to go into that this company uses Hermes for its deliveries so I suggest you do not order from go outdoors for delivery do a click and collect instead as Hermes are the worst career service in the world two days in a row they have emailed me to say they've attempted delivery but I have CCTV video footage that proves they've not even come to my house which I already knew as I was in the delivery should've been between 7 pm and 9 pm absolute joke cannot contact terms go outdoors are saying you need to contact firms which you can't do refusing to refund telling me I must refuse the parcel for them to be returned to then get My money back what an absolute joke as the parcels are not going to come it has now been 14 days since ordering have raised case with PayPal which I suggest you use for all pages at go outdoors I am now requesting that my membership fee be returned as well and I will never shop at this joke of a company ever again. Still waiting for refund

Very dubious trading practices! Their products are often out of stock, but they continue to sell those items online and do not notify customers of known delivery delays. They will not give anticipated delivery dates and will not cancel orders that have failed to be delivered, leaving the customer to wait for excessive periods of time for their goods, arrange for a return and wait for refunds. Customer service is incredibly poor - they don’t respond to emails and are unwilling to help resolve issues. I was waiting for items to be delivered in time for a holiday and when it became clear Go Outdoors were unable to give me a delivery date within 10 days, so I telephoned to ask for the order to be cancelled. While this is a consumer right, Go Outdoors claim not to be able to cancel the order before it’s left the warehouse. The goods are now due to arrive while I’m away, leaving me unable to return and get a refund, but their customer services team were totally uninterested and ‘can only apologise.’ Avoid Blacks, Millets and Go Outdoors!

Been a week order still has not been picked. Called online to cancel and you can't cancel an order. Thankfully it wasn't a large order so I will just cut my losses, but put simply this is exactly how you do not get a returning customer.

Ordered shoes on line, too small and tried to return / exchange in store, size not available but would not refund or exchange as was paid via PayPal. Nothing in returns policy to advise of this… 2 phone calls to customer service, one was disconnected by “advisor” and I use that term loosely and second call by a person who had no clue how to resolve. Ended the phone call eventually with nothing changed and a promise that “ it’s unlikely a manager will call you” Awful customer service, don’t know what they are doing and come across as fairly ignorant in how customer service works

Bought a waterproof jacket from their website, chose pay in 30 days through Klarna. jacket arrived but was to big so, as I was in the area i chose to return it to their Edgware store for an exchange. The staff took the exchange and said they would sort it all with Klarna. Six weeks later and numerous emails going back and forth, Klarna have still not had the money returned to them and i still have not had any other contact from Go outdoors. I suspect that I will now have to pay Klarna as Go outdoors have basically stolen my money....Avoid these incompetent thieves!!!

Numerous phone calls and emails for them to say "we will look into this and investigate and come to a conclusion on the matter" Now my camping trip is ruined because of their incompetence and a week later still waiting for my item what i paid for! Returned a £70 pair of walking boots to the Scunthorpe store with my adult son who had worn them three or four times before the lining had started to separate from the boots. A manager looked at them then sent a deeply embarrassed junior assistant to tell my son that his feet were too small (he is a size 12, so naturally, he had bought size 12) and had moved around causing the fault. They were not prepared to exchange or refund despite our having the receipt. We stood our ground and eventually the same manager had another look and decided that they were faulty. We considered choosing more expensive boots and paying the difference but then realised that would mean they had won, so we took our refund. What appalling treatment of customers and staff. Avoid.

Purchased a jacket from go outdoors and found the same considerably cheaper elsewhere at several other stores. Tried the go outdoors price match promise and they refused as the jacket, although available instore, was not available on there website. Terrible service and will not be renewing my "discount" card and will take my custom elsewhere. Please check other stores before purchasing as they more than likely be cheaper

Went to Go outdoors Bristol to buy a pair of walking shoes. A lady called Kerrie Jones helped me. She was very helpful and knowledgeable despite being busy. So pleased to find someone who knows their stuff without being pushy for a sale. I love my new shoes. Thank you Kerrie.

If I could give 0 Stars I would. Avoid this company!!!! I ordered many things for a camping trip, amongst it I ordered 4 x camping chairs, 2 blue and 2 red. I receive the parcel which is supposed to contain 4 chairs, instead it contains only 2 chairs. I wrote to them straight away asking them to send me my 2 missing chairs. A week later I am still trying to get 2 chairs or my money back. They want me to claim I never received the parcel so they can claim money back for lost items and postage!!

Disgusting company, customer service is terrible. Ordered 2 shelters only 1 delivered. Now been 3 weeks, loads of e mails and phone calls later, and still no further forward. For something so simple, either send another shelter, they were quick enough to take my money!!! Or send me a refund. Oh no thats way to complicated for them!! I will never ever use again, or recommend to anyone.

Avoid. Ordered a tent and footprint. After I called a few times to ask if there was a reason for the delay the tent was cancelled (no apology or explanation). A smart company would have asked if I still wanted the footprint. Apparently their warehousing isn't integrated with CRM, which is a ridiculous excuse. No free returns by post or to the high street stores on the returns letterhead (Millets, Blacks and Ultimate Outdoors). So now I'm out of pocket for their poor service.
