And nobody knows what about the money. SCAMMED”
“TheY gave me the wrong phone number to call resulting in 900+ in long distance fees. On top of that, the problem that they were tasked with fixing was NEVER solved. I had to wait until the LAST 12 hrs before my flight for it to be fixed by ME! And then they said, "its not our problem" when I ask for them to help me with the phone bill as it was their fault.”
“I wish there were an option for no stars because that’s what Gotogate deserves based on my experience.
As a frequent flyer, I’ve never encountered such frustrating services. Once you book a flight through their platform, they completely drop the ball. My family of 03 couldn’t make it to the airport due to the city blockade, and despite multiple attempts to get a cancellation or refund, I was met with inconsistent information from their customer service staff. It felt like nobody was on the same page.
After the flight departed, I called again to request a tax refund, only to be told they marked us as 'No Show' because the airline didn’t acknowledge the blockade, even though the flight was delayed twice for that very reason. To make matters worse, they expect you to pay £35 per passenger just to process the tax refund.
Overall, my experience was deeply disappointing. I would not recommend Gotogate”

“Very pathetic experience of booking flight from go to gate website. They did not told us about the need of transit visa in Germany for the flight from India to Manchester. There was no pop up for showing transit visa requirement for the lay over of just 2 hours and in return the airline did not allowed us for boarding. We even called this website again to re-book our flight as we were ready to pay extra amount also but first they agreed to do so then refused to do it within few minutes. It was quiet disturbing night for us as we were roaming on the airport for some help but they did not provide any help and then we came back home and booked another flight of next day. And now they are not giving us any kind of refunds also. Don’t ever use this website to book any flight”
“Booked my flight tickets in February and later on the flight schedule was changed due to which my layover time was extended from 2hrs to 7hrs. The agency told me that I am eligible for a full refund as my layover time is more than 5hrs. But later on the flight was cancelled by the airlines itself and I just got the partial refund. Agency still telling me they haven’t got another half of the refund till now😂 . It’s been 7 months now and still struggling to get my money back.”
“I wish I can give them 0 star. They messed up our bookings + charge us extra to change. We ended up paying $2800 instead of only $1500. We went to the airport and airline told us our booking was cancelled but we didn’t receive any notification for go to gate. We have to book hotel which cost us $200 + we missed the Pre wedding dinner ! When we called go to gate they told us “ call back an hour later ” and an hour later “ system is down call back 3 hours later “

“My flight was canceled by the airline six months ago, and since then, I have been trying to obtain a refund. I contacted the airline, which confirmed that I am entitled to a refund and provided me with written confirmation. I promptly forwarded this information to Gotogate, yet I am still being informed that my ticket was used, and a refund will not be issued. This situation is frustrating and needs to be resolved.”
“Never use GoToGate
I booked ticket for my family including infant child. I had a change into plan and needed to cancel 1 persons ticket. It turn out to be nightmare for me. Followed up for 2 months and 22 days but without any success. Only response I got from GoToGate is that internal team is working in ticket, Infant child needs to be associated with mother before we can cancel your ticket. Even when only less than 24 hours left in the scheduled flight, response did not changed. Finally I had to request airline to take control of ticket and request the changes. I was into risk where my family would have been denied boarding at airport due to infant child associated with person wanted to cancel the ticket. GoToGate customer service team were never bother about resolving the issue and just reading/typing the pre defined few sentences. They do lack the knowledge and do not know the operations. My suggestion is to avoid using GoToGate for booking any of your flight. I had through so much stress and would never use this agency.”
“I would stay clear of Gotogate. We booked a return flight to Dublin going was fine but return another story. They sent boarding passes on an app but when we went to check in we were informed there was no flight at that time and are flight had left two hours before. We have sent emails and spoke to customer services a number of times with no response or that they will get back to us. It has been nearly four weeks amd still no further.”

“We are still waiting for our refund 11months later after our cancelled flight back in August 2023 from Albania to UK. We have contacted you around 8times, you always promise the refund but somehow we still did not receive our almost £2000 back??? Second leg of the flight was cancelled, and told I could reschedule or get a refund.
Requested a refund, and 2 weeks later call "customer service" to be told I can't get a refund. nothing they can do. I have lost just over £2000 through no fault of my own, and they can't/won't do anything to help. All they did was give me the number for the airline in China, to call myself and talk to them. Unhelpful and borderline scammers. All customer service said is "Sorry, we are just a travel agency".”
“We booked tickets through Go To Gate in June for a departure on July 24th. Unfortunately, they provided incorrect information to the airline. We have been in contact with their customer service team for the past week, who assured us it would be handled as an emergency. Despite this, we have not received confirmation even five hours before our departure. When we called again, they suggested we contact the airline in China directly. This is unacceptable and highlights the agency's severe incompetence.
We had to cancel the tickets and request a refund. This is a joke—it has ruined our planned holiday. All our schedules had to be changed, including hotels, car rentals, and other tickets. When we inquired about compensation, they informed us that we would not receive any for the hotel and car rental costs. That's unacceptable.
We will be filing a formal complaint with the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and Trading Standards. Such a poorly managed agency should not be allowed to continue operating. This has been an incredibly stressful and frustrating experience. We strongly advise others to avoid using Go To Gate.”
“Do not buy tickets from GoToGate!!!
In December 2019, I bought 4 flight tickets on the route Tel Aviv-Bucharest-Cluj Napoca ( in Romania) for the dates of 29.05.2020-09.06.2020 for which I paid the amount of $1034 through the company GotoGate, the company that is from Uppsala. The flight was with the Romanian transport company TAROM.
On February 21, 2020, I received an email from GotoGate that our flight was canceled due to Covid.
I had a lot of correspondence with the people from GotoGate and with the people from TAROM to return the money for the plane tickets, but unfortunately I have not received the money for the plane tickets even until today.
My prayer is if you can get me the refund of the flight tickets .
How is it possible, dear gentlemen, for a Swedish company in the 21st century to make fun of those who knowingly bought 4 flight tick
