I'm disputing the charges with AX and expect to win. This company should be shut down! I purchased the 'Flexible Ticket' and the XCover was complimentary. The XCover is worthless too. “The agency is not reliable at all. I have cancelled my flight and now waiting for refund more than 2 weeks. I have been contacting on daily basis and each time I had to wait for long minutes then my call is answered by unprofessional staff that exhausted me in explaining the case and later only telling me you will receive your refund shortly but nothing till now. Awful experience. I used GoToGate to buy tickets and during the reservation process I introduced wrongly the surname of one passenger. As soon as I received the purchase confirmation email; literally a minute after buying the tickets, I realized of the error and called the airline. They explained that the change could be made with no penalty fee if requested 24 hours after the purchase but that it had to be GoToGate submitting the request, not me. Here started a nightmare of a journey that so far has involved more than 20 conversations with 20 different operator to whom I've had to explain the situation individually every different time. Not once, after not resolving my issue, they have agreed to pass my call to a manager.
In a nutshell, as confirmed by the airline and in a few occasions by GoToGate operators, GoToGate submitted the request to amend the name of the passenger after the 24 hrs window frame passed, even though I made this request GoToGate literally 15 minutes after purchasing the tickets. Result: the airline refused to make the amendment and they said that a new ticket has the be bought as they are now considering it a name of passenger.
Every call to GoToGate is slightly different to the previous one. In one they tell you they understand the problem and assure you that a manager will get back to you with a compensation proposal; in the next call they say that they did everything by the book; just as they were meant to, and insist that you call the airline directly and resolve things with them....What else can be said? Oh yes, depsite multiple attempts to raise a complaint internally they repeatedly did not allow me to do so. I sent them emails and I would get a supposedly automated response saying that the inbox was not being monitored and instructing you to go to their website if you wanted to fill a complaint form. Of course you will then go to the website and the form is nowhere to be found; and then you will speak to an operator who will tell you that the complaint forms were actually disabled from their website and that they did not take complaints over the phone neither. And anyway, if that wasn't enough my enquiry was still not at a stage in which I could officially file a complaint.”

Let me tell you, it is better to buy flights early or pay more to book directly through the airline. I have used 3rd parties before but goto gate is real rip off. They have fee’s that you do not know about until you need to know. They try to let you know that it’s in “terms and conditions” but this is not explained nor is it clear and conspicuous before making a purchase. My flight was cancelled by the airline who could not accommodate for a rebooking but a full refund, this foolish goto gate wants a piece of the pie per passenger. Rip off and fraud. “Worst service ever. NEVER EVER BOOK THROUGH THEM. I bought a flight with a value of over +800 euros on Monday. On Tuesday afternoon (the flight was scheduled for Wednesday), I received an email stating that the flight was not confirmed and I needed to make the payments again...I checked, and my booking was never confirmed. I checked the flight cost, and the cost was + 400 euros higher for the same flight. I first called customer service via chat, but they could not even understand the problem; they said I needed to wait for a reimbursement. I called the call center in Italian, and they were not even able to help...indeed they told me that they couldn't do anything and it was almost not their problem. Then I called English customer service. They were nicer; they explained to me that apparently, the airline company had an issue but not clear if this was because the price in the meantime was higher .... and that this can happen and they can notify you up to 24 hours later. In short not able to support me....even if not my fault. But their problem managing the booking. Now I'm without a flight, and the only way to leave is to pay 1/3 more than the price I already paid. By the way, they couldn't even support me via phone with another booking since they don't have the service. What a SCAM!!!”

We went to take our flight and been told we have no seats for us on this plane flight number LH 585
We already have conformation number and ticket number,
so I contact them over the phone and the lady told me we have no flight to Washington until next week and I have to be In USA for my work so I told her I need my Refund so she processed and told me you will be contact by the email to get your refund ,
Until now I did not get any email or any thing from them and screw my trip already .

“I booked ticket with Goto gate and to my shock when I went to the check in counter at airport , the airlines said my ticket is not confirmed and I can’t travel . They tried their best to search for my booing using all the details provided by Gotogate and no details of reservation was found. When u asked for refund , this agency is simply saying I can’t speak with any supervisor or manger and I only have to wait for their email . They have no other contact details except a telephone number and their website does not provide any “complaint form” as they claim to have for complaining.
It’s definitely some kind of scam. Just imagine I was in the airport to take my flight and am told my reservation is not found!!!
I had to buy another ticket as I can’t post pone my travel since it was an urgent journey.

Cancellation right after booking grabs you all kinds of tax, processing and handling fee! No customer care at all!

“I rebooked 3 out of my 5 flights to NZ from 3wks to 2wks, paid $411 rebooking fee (1.Darwin to 2.Melbourne to 3.Auckland to 4.Christchurch to 5.Melbourne to Darwin). Going to NZ is smooth, but when I went to check in for my flight (Auckland to Christchurch) on the new date that I asked the travel agency to rebook, the airline said I was not on the flight. Agency didn’t actioned the rebooking. I have to buy 3 new flights because of booked accommodation, rental car and adventures. I raised a refund request for the 3 flights that I have to buy ($1400+). After multiple emails, phone calls and stress, the travel agency only refunded me $411 rebooking fee. They also got the money from the flights that I did not use. They responses to my email are also generic.

When I buying the tickets through the Gotogate I had no idea what this agent is awful. My flights tickets should included checking bags for three, My outbound trip included luggage but the inbound don't.
I have the confirmation email and etickets from Gotogate where the checking bags is included in both direction. I contacted with customer service about that situation and.....
So I phone call
they told me I should contact with the airline which I have flight
off course the airline can't do nothing because the agent
booked the tickets, so they sent me back (Actually airline was right)
Next phone call
They promise to checking carryfully and contact with me
few days later I got email from gotogate that my checking bags is included to my trip in both direction and I can check on airline website so I did and was like before no checking bags.

again promise to checking carryfully and sent my issue to another department. After few days I got email that I was right and my checking bags isn't included to my inbound trip. Next day email said

so I did that with hope they will refund and problem will gone

Airline canceled all flights on my travel date. GotoGate never send me an email notification. Airline does not have my contact info to notify me of changes. I found out from a friend taking the same flight. When I call to rebook, they said I need to call airline myself. Airline refunded in full, per airline website, to a credit card own by GotoGate. I call GotoGate for the refund and they are changing a $40 processing fee for the refund. I never received flight service, dealt with changes myself. What service did GotoGate provide?”
