POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE Agents have no knowledge of what is going on I am furious and waiting for a manager to get back to me Due to covid19 my reservation was canceled i do not an will not except my refund in groupon bucks i want my money

STEER CLEAR a real scam company with no refund policy This company has no refund policy .They offer you Groupon coupons which are useless. There customer service department does not have any idea what customer service is. I suggest steer clear of buying ANY service from Groupon

Symphonic queen concert cancelled in Glasgow. Refunded me in groupon credits I contacted them via online chat to explain I paid through PayPal and I want my refund through PayPal and they flatly refused.I EXPLIANED I HAVE BEEN MADE REDUNDANT AND AM.DESPERATE NEED OF CASH. DARIA P. THE CALL CENTRE AGENT REFERRED ME THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS AND SAID I CAN NOT GET A REFUND.Wheres the compassion Groupon. You should be ashamed of yourself.

Ordered what I was led to believe that I had ordered a 12 pack of toilet rolls. I am furious they arrived today and are the size of a till roll tiny. Will never use Groupon again

Company is a fraud my daughter and I made a purchase fir the same thing and due to COVID 19 tge event was cancelled. My daughter and I received an email from Groupon about refunds on 3/20. My daughter debit card was credited for for her purchase but when I tried mine on 3/30 I was forced feed groupon bucks and was told it was policy. False my daughters card was credited and I was give bucks that aI don't plan on using because I am done with groupon and wont be making any other purchases.

One star is one too many for this company. I purchased a voucher for our friends to visit a company close by. Unfortunately due to Coronavirus they have had to self isolate, I informed groupon within the 14 day refund period and tried to get a refund, they have refused to give me my money back and have given me vouchers instead. In normal circumstances I would agree with this but we have a pandemic which is out of our control so goodness knows when I will be able to use the voucher and like most people are worrying about money so every penny counts!

I purchased an outsunny Rattan furniture set and only received 1 box out of 3 required. The box was clearly labelled 1/3 yet only one box arrived. After realising this I contacted groupon and asked if the two missing boxes could be sent out as I only have 1 cushion and a few rattan corner pieces. I had no manual no tool pieces no tapered glass for the table and whatever else was missing. I sent in images as proof but was told the only option was to return the item we received to get a refund, however they are not accepting returns due to the coronavirus outbreak. They said we would have to wait until the outbreak had calmed and everything had returned to normal before they would accept this, for us to obtain a refund or for them to send us the rest of our purchase. All we asked is for the rest of our purchase and the two remaining boxes, however they would not compromise. We are now left with 1/3 of our purchase, £269 down and no way of Groupon looking to resolve this situation. When we are all going through tough times, and we just wanted some furniture to enjoy in our garden whilst in isolation and we can’t even do that. Disappointed and upset is an understatement.

Placed an order via the British Airways shop site, which moves you over to the groupon website. Goods arrived late and the description was inaccurate. The chat line guy, first of all rushed me and then when I answered a question with a simple yes, to make sure I kept him online, he sarcastically replied “yes please”. I wanted to know why the Avios points from Groupon showed up as Sutton’s and the chat guy could not be of assistance because the advert on the BA site wasn’t Groupon. So if that’s the case why do Groupon bother to advertise on the BA site, because they must pay for the service, as BA will not provide the service free of charge

So back in January I purchased a Groupon specifically for my upcoming destination wedding ... a trip that is obviously cancelled now. On top of the heartbreaking reality that I’m losing my dream wedding, Groupon refuses to refund my purchase even tho the business is closed and won’t reopen before my wedding... I paid in cash but now am being offered groupon bucks as an alternative. This is a disgusting example of companies profiting off the losses of people due to COVID-19 Shame on you Groupon. You’ve lost a very good customer. I’ll never shop with you again and I’m sharing this experience all over social media. #GrouponFail

Disgusting with all this Corona virus going around and odeons closed all over the UK they couldn't be bothered to extend people's vouchers and I lost money because of it, won't be using them again customer service was bad in my case

Very poor customer service. While I appreciate it is a very difficult time at the moment groupon would fair better actually dealing with peoples problems rather than ignoring/postponing/dismissing them. Item was supposed to arrive 8 days ago, it has been at my local Hermes (urgh) depot since that day. I assume it’s been stolen seeing as it’s toilet paper. Despite numerous emails groupon will not contact my local depot to find out what the issue is and now they are ignoring me so I can’t get a refund. Hopefully enough of these negative reviews left in various places on the internet may actually get them to do something. Having used groupon for many years they will only be a last resort for me now, at least amazon are helpful.

I ordered an item before country lockdown. Customer chat ended by them because j asked for a refund I just keep bombarding them with emails I want my money back their customer service is appalling!

Avoid Groupon at all costs. Unethical behaviour, refusal to provide refunds on non deliveries spouted by constant lies from the customer services. This site is getting bombarded with egative reviews everywhere

Would like to leave zero stars but it won’t let me. I used to like groupon and got a good customer service in the past and funny enough I have had refunds in the past. I booked tickets for comedy store originally (I did re arrange the date) unfortunately the date I rearranged it for was when the corona virus hit so the comedy store was on lockdown. Groupon won’t give me a refund groupon says it’s the comedy stores rules but the comedy stores website has a notice about corona and says refund or credit are available. I have had refunds before from Groupon I don’t understand why this time it’s such a big issue!! I asked groupon if they could explain to me once they have taken there admin fee out where does the rest of my ticket money go as it doesn’t go to the venue. They could not explain. So I asked for a contact at the comedy store who agreed this deal so I could take it up with them and still no joy.

Ordered toilet rolls on 17/Mar - showing as in stock and dispatch within 2 days. 9 days later I contacted them via chat. I waited a couple of minutes to get a response, wereby they asked what the problem was. As I started to type, the rep sent another msg saying they were busy and that if I didn't respond immediately they'd end the chat??? Anyway, they informed that the item was out of stock and that I could have a refund. My argument is that they should've refunded me automatically once they knew they could not fulfil my order. Now I must wait for up to 7 working days for my refund. that will be up to 16 days of them sitting on my money!! Poor customer service in the nonchalant way I was dealt with. I have been a customer of Groupon for many years; but no longer. Voting with my feet (fingers).

Bought a voucher and booked online for a meal. Due to Covo 19 the restaurants were all shut and could not use it. The place is closed now. Got in contact with Groupon as it says it's been redeemed. According to them I need an email to confirm this how can I get that if the place is shut. Please don't buy from here in the near future as if something happens u will not get your money back. Terrible service

Refusing to refund my money. Merchant is closed and so I haven't gotten my end of the deal. But they are greedy and refuse to refund customers during this difficult time. Never using them again. Avoid.
