Customer service is disgraceful!!!! Compensation is unreasonable and unrealistic.

The worst company that I have ever dealt with I bought a gloss table and chairs. The table arrived with a scratch on it. cut along story short they took the table away to be repaired six months later. I got the dam thing back customer services are diabolical very rude and arrogant staff. Didn’t offer me a refund.

Harveys furniture is a load of rubbish and would never buy from them again i have had trouble for over a year and they think its there right to keep your money if you are not happy i got my own independant survey done and found i had rotten wood in one of the chairs so they dont deserve anybodys money. no stars

GO NOWHERE NEAR THESE COWBOYS!! After five months marks came through the leather. We had taken out cover with them so they sent a guy out who confirmed it was a fault in the production. When we asked for a replacement they sent another guy out who's report (surprise, surprise) said it was our fault, our scatter cushions had rubbed it (amazingly in one spot only even though we have two settees and four cushions). Now they say we can have it repaired or sling our hook. Not surprised there isn't one good review on here!

Stay away from Harvey's, there customer service is like nothing I have ever experienced! They have blantley lied to me about delivery and then about extra scatter cushions! Apparently I have to buy another seatee to have cushions. Day three of trying to sort issue out with another member of staff who doesn't careless. I will never purchase another item from them again. I would strongly advise my friends and family to do the same. Shame on you Harvey's, for grabbing peoples money and then leaving them without half their purchase!

Vile customer service. Told me it was my problem for a damaged sofa despite their OWN delivery team sending in a report and photo!! I will have to take them to court. Customer service guy was utterly disrespectful

If the score was just on the store experience and furniture quality it would be 4 stars. However, I’ve had the misfortune of dealing with Harvey’s customer service department. When furniture was delivered the foot stool came with the wrong colour wooden feet. Delivery driver noticed before we did and said he’d report it. After a week we contacted Harvey’s and were told the furniture doesn’t come with light oak feet! This was then repeated in a second email despite us suppling photos and the furniture in question having the light oak feet in their store! 4 months later and still waiting for the correct feet to be delivered. One of the most clueless, embarrassing customer service departments I’ve ever encountered.

Long story short.... 6 months and a 1000 phone calls on from delivery I still hadn’t received the cushions to my sofa. I was repeatedly fobbed off with additional ‘3 day SLAs’. Eventually, I was told they no longer stocked them as the furniture had been discontinued. I asked to return the sofa where I was passed from one person to another and actually lied to on multiple occasions. Ended up having to take them to an ombudsman. The horror story was actually so much worst but I cbb to type it all out AGAIN. Furniture quality is also rubbish. If I could leave 0 stars I would. I wish I had read their reviews beforehand.

Harveys furniture store-Mersey Retail Speke,Liverpool. Purchased two leather sofa 1 week ago. Within 2 hours,leather look rippled . Reported it to shop assistant who told me to go and ring customer service centre . Homeserve have been to inspect sofa and report "Pooling"of leather happens alot in 3 seater fully electric sofas,so he can't do anything about it. At no time was this known "pooling" disclosed by the sales assistant nor any disclaimer on the produce ...DO NOT BUY FROM HARVEYS-THEY TAKE FULL PAYMENT THEN CUSTOMER SERVICE IS APPALLING!!!

Long story short; went into store to order 2 sofas and a table, was told sofas and table was in stock and can be a week for delivery. Ordered in October, week later told to call and book. Phoned up, not in stock till December 17th! Delivery came, missing the 3 seater and also the table that was delivered is broken. Our first Xmas in our home ruined. Had both sides of immediate family coming over Xmas and Boxing Day for dinner. No table. Got rebooked without my permission said I was at work, tried to charge me for moving this. No reply’s to my emails, lots of chasing on my half, a lot of “I promise I will email you” (lies never got one email back) and a lot of stress later got offered £50 for the 3 months of hassle for us. That didn’t even cover the £69 I paid for delivery. And I have to also wait for a call for them to send this to my banks. Honestly such a joke of a company not at all happy with the service or the “compensation” ruined our first home experience and our Christmas and new year. But hey ho they won’t bother trying to make it better they simply don’t care about their customers. So please save yourself the time and your sanity and don’t shop at Harvey’s.

I ordered 3 lamp tables and a coffee table in November, I was informed that order had been cancelled by the courier, I rang Harvey's who informed me this was not the case. Since then I have been emailing and phoning hanging on the phone for an hour at a time. Yesterday I spoke to a very rude man at customer services who told me that the courier had damaged the coffee table but the lamp tables were ready for delivery. He said they would ring me to let me know when the coffee table would be ready for delivery. I received a call today to inform me it will be 4 weeks. I emailed asking for delivery of the lamp tables as it was no fault of mine that the coffee table was damaged. I received an email back stating that the supplier nor Harvey's hold stock of these items, I emailed back stating I was told that the lamp tables were ready for delivery but just keep getting the same reply that they do not hold stock. I do not believe that the lamp tables are ready for delivery as I received a phone call from the supplier asking if I wanted the order as Harvey's had made such a mess of it they didn't know what was happening.

I ordered a suite from Harvey’s two two seater recliner and a 3 seater recliner in may19 when they arrived On the 2nd September they were damaged so they left the suite so we had something to sit on they ordered a replacement we had to wait 12 weeks which wasn’t bad at least we had something to sit on the new. New suite was delivered on the 23rd December guess what it was damaged so we refused delivery so they took it back 4 weeks on no phone call text email from them I have emailed them phoned them when they do answer they haven’t got a clue told waiting on the manufacturer so I phoned again too ask if they have ordered another suite only to be told that they had discontinued the suite. In September so I asked how did you manage to delivery me a second suite in December If it was discontinued in September I asked was it a ex display one I was told no it might be one that had been ordered and cancelled most likely sent back. So today I had a phone call of them. They want to pick the first sofa up before I get my refund so I asked if they were going to give us any compensation for the inconvenience of having nothing to sit on and the fact that we are going to be out of pocket because we have to go and buy something to sit until we order a new suite all they said it’s not there problem I really don’t know why they have a customer service because they don’t do anything they clearly don’t know how to answer emails or how to contact anyone if there is anything wrong with there products But they come alive when it comes to take your money I would not recommend the shower of s....t to anyone there like flys on s... when you go into the shop but when there’s something wrong they run for the hills CON CON

The leather started to stretch within 3 days I’ve been fighting to get my money back for 9 months now and customer services are very rude and give you hell they keep saying your not getting your money back

I ordered a sofa bed on the 10th Sept i knew there would be a delay re the material but now 4 months down the line no sign of it they have no idea where it is!!!Should have been delivered 17th Dec they turned up with a sofa!!!since then all calls have been a waste of time we had to cancel visitors.What a disgraceful company i even sent a recorded letter which i know they had because i tracked it,no reply.WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN WILL NOW GO TO NATIONAL NEWSPAPERS

Harveys have delayed our delivery date. When I asked why the customer service person who sounded half a sleep and uninterested said she didn't know, maybe just because of a delay in shipping, no apology. They have limited delivery dates available and cannot commit to a time slot until the delivery day, and charge £10 extra (from the £70 already paid for delivery) to delivery on a Saturday. When asked if they could wave the £10 cost due to the delay in delivery and lack of available dates, they said they are unable to do so. Not impressed with Harveys lack of customer service

Absolutely disgusting sofa falling to bits paid over £1000.00 and complete waste of money, Harveys dont care even though we took out the warranty say thst we need to £80 to have it assessed. AVOID HARVEYS!!!!!

Harvey’s furniture should be avoided. I purchased a sofa and chair just over a year ago I paid cash and now find the sofa and chair so uncomfortable as the leather as stretched and crinkled. A technician came to look and said he could see that the leather had stretched and the cushion felt as though it had separated. He advised me that he thought Harvey’s would not do anything about it and probably would not get back to me. How right he was........no customer service only rudeness. I am now left with a very uncomfortable sofa and chair after paying a considerable amount of money for rubbish. I will never go into a Harvey’s store again and will advise my family and friends never to waste their money on inferior goods. BEWARE once they have your money they do not care.

Ordered and paid for a Sofa and Coffee tables upfront. A very big mistake I made. Please, never do this with Harveys. Once they have your money customer service don't care about you at all. They changed the product availability and I have to pay extra £450. Ten weeks after, I have not received a delivery update. Each call to the customer centre takes over two hours to get picked up and they don't even have visibility of the delivery schedule. Big regret to patronize such a company as they outsource the production and has no control over the quality or delivery
