Bought Uber gift card through third party. Redeemed code and it was applied to my acct as UBER CASH. Though it shows as available balance, I was told it's not an accepted payment method any longer 5 minutes after redeeming it. Won't give voucher or refund. They insist I get refund from third party, makes no sense. They accepted and redeemed gift card, how can it not be an accepted form of payment? It's their gift card and it's now in your account. I can't use it and third party did their job, obviously, why would they be responsible for refund if the gift card was redeemed by Uber? I've contacted customer service several times and they don't even bother reading my messages as at first I was getting canned responses, now NO RESPONSE

I payed for an uber, through ideal before the uber even arrived. The uber never showed up and my money is gone. I feel scammed.

If I could give 0 stars, it would be too many. Took one Uber ride in about 3 years and within twelve hours my account was hacked and I got $108 charge on my card. I cancelled the card and put in a claim with my bank… but only after trying to contact Uber for 3 days. Their only solution: keep sending “reset password links”, even after I repeatedly told them I could no longer access my account. Fast forward a month and it happens again… with a new card that Uber had no access to. This time 5 charges totaling around $300… again customer service was absolutely useless and worse, wanted the first 6 and last 4 of my card number AND the expiration date. Also note, I placed a stop payment on anything Uber.. they got around it by changing the format that they charge (changed from Uber.com to help.Uber.com). Keep asking for my bank info and claiming they can’t delete the hacked account until they have all my card info. An utter and complete scam of a company. I’ll warn everyone I know not to use any form of Uber. Also, little known fact (the only useful thing provided by anyone in customer service), they had a massive system hack in the beginning of September 2022… but you don’t hear about that anywhere, do you? Just take a look at the Uber Newsroom on their website. Stay away from them; they’re a terrible company and have the worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with.

worst customer service. 90% of the people doesn’t have an idea about what’s going on. and i guess uber doesn’t provide the associates proper training. i had to call atleast 20-25 times just to activate my account. in addition, most of the associates were providing me with false information

Customer support hung up on me. WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH. Agent should be fired or trained accordingly. I am appalled with the service I received.

I had a terrible experience while I was having a trip with Uber in Madrid. the driver was completely out of his mind, driving like a drunk, a truck almost come to us. the driver did a bigger route that was planned he just get lost and couldn't get back to the GPS route. I needed to help him to go to the final destination. Arriving at my place I was charged plus 10€ it was supposed to cost After contact the customer service the answer it was they can't refund because I was asking the refund repeatedly... it's just insane. So, driver terrible, customer service, horrible experience.

Their customer service is horrible. It's difficult to reach them. You have to pick a specific reason of why you want to reach them, even then you sometime can't actually email them. Sometimes your issues aren't listed in their selections so you have to pick something where you can email them to explain your different problem. Then they send an automatic response. Then it just progresses from there to the point where they say " we have opened a ticket on this and will work on the issue" and you never hear from them again and the issue never gets resolved. To this day I still can't tip over the app. If I don't have cash I have to hope that the driver has Venmo or something.

THEY NEVER EVER LISTEN TO ANYTHING I HAVE TO SAY. THEY ARE EXTREMELY RUDE, THEY HANG UP ON DRIVERS, THEY WASTE DRIVERS TIME BY DELIBERATELY IGNORING THE DIRECT CONCERN EVEN AFTER I HAVE PROVIDED THEM WITH SCREENSHOTS AND EXPLAINED THE SITUATION IN A VERY CLEAR MANNER SEVERAL TIMES. THEY TOOK OVER 24 HOURS TO RESPOND TO ME ONLINE ONLY TO STILL GIVE ME THE WRONG INFO AND TOLD ME SOMETHING THAT HAD ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH WHAT I SAID OR EVEN THE ISSUE WAS. LONG STORY SHORT, I HAD TO DO MY VERY OWN CALCULATIONS AND LOOKED AT MY ACCOUNT DIRECTLY ON THEIR WEBSITE SINCE ON THEIR APP IT WASN'T CORRECT AND SOLVED MY PROBLEM MY DAMN SELF. MY CONCERN IS WITH UBER IS THAT I TALKED TO SOOOOOO MANY SO CALLED AGENTS AND SUPERVISORS AND NOT ONE OF THEM WAS ABLE TO PIN POINT THE EXACT PROBLEM BUT INSTEAD EVERYONE KEPT ON PLAYING GUESSING GAMES AND KEPT ON GRASPING AT STRAWS INSTEAD OF FINDING OUT WHAT THE REAL ISSUE WAS. ANOTHER MAJOR PROBLEM IS EVERYTIME I CALL I GET SOMEONE IN INDIA WITH A VERY THICK ACCENT AND A HORRIBLE PHONE CONNECTION. I HEAR DOGS IN THE BACKGROUND AND AT ONE POINT I EVEN HEARD A DAMN 🐄 IN THE BACKGROUND MOOING WHICH I FIND VERY VERY VERY STRANGE. UBER HAS MORE THAN ENOUGH DAMN MONEY TO HIRE PEOPLE RIGHT HERE IN THE USA INSTEAD OF HIRING THESE RUDE, LAZY, INCOMPETENT AND EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL PEOPLE IN INDIA OR OTHER PARTS OF THE WORLD ONLY TO PAY THEM LESS JUST TO SAVE THEMSELVES SOME MONEY. I HAVE HAD ENOUGH OF THESE PROBLEMS WITH UBER "SUPPORT" WHERE THERE'S ABSOLUTELY NO SUPPORT WHATSOEVER AND THIS IS THE ONLY OPTION I HAVE SINCE THE GREEN HUB HAS CLOSED IN MY CITY DURING THE PANDEMIC. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.

We had to book an uber 3 times (first 2 timed out). The third time the driver showed up, my husband leaned in to confirm, the driver shook his head and drove off??!! We wrote uber, First time they said basically “tough, it happens”. We are seniors. I wrote back and said I wanted to review the driver. Told no go. We didn’t take the ride so we can’t rate him. But they would give us a 5£ credit. It is now over a week later and we never got the credit. What a scam to get rid of us. When I wrote back to say I didn’t receive the credit, they ignored me.

Took Uber from my home to the airport this week (Sept 2022). Didn't realise I had to tell the driver to take a non toll route which we could have done as we had plenty of time to do so. Maybe it's my fault. I ended up being charged extra $13 for tolls on the trip and then reservation charges and something else. Ended up having to pay $20 more than the original quote. Uber does not have anywhere in its website to complain about this sort of thing. I'm really upset.

I was picked up late in the evening. As the driver pulled up to my house, I told her to pull up behind my husband's vehicle so she didn't block the side street. She drove a few feet further as if she didn't hear me - and proceeded to block the road. A car was waiting for her to move out of the way. She got very flustered - yanked my suitcase out of her trunk and took off. My backpack containing my wallet, charger, and epilepsy medication was still in her car. I managed to catch her at the end of my street - I was running, shouting, waving my arms. She either ignored me or didn't see me. I promptly called uber support which connected me to her. She wouldn't answer so I left a message. She never responded to me. I called her a few times the following morning before she finally picked up. Her excuse was, she turned off her alerts or whatever when she went into the grocery store less than a block away from my house to use the restroom. She said she then picked up another passenger (her uber "app" was off so she never received calls or messages... but she picked up another client right after me....??). She said she realized the mistake when the passenger handed her my backpack thinking it was hers. I was frustrated but let her know that I could meet her in a parking lot or a public place near where she lived so she didn't have to go out of her way to bring me my backpack. She declined and brought it back to me that even. Despite all of this, I was still charged a $15 return bag fee. One of my medications was missing from the backpack. I wrote several emails explaining all this to Uber support, and they just kept sending back the patented response that my driver had to go out of her way to return my bag. I will never use or Uber again.

I am uber eats delivery partner who has legit visa with which i have my full time job and uber eats documents reviewer has rejected official document saying NZTA guidline. I feel pitty guys that you even dont know which document to verify with immigration and which with NZTA. Such a shame.

I have only used uber a couple of times. The last time i used them was on April 17, 2021. I ordered an Uber and it never came. I waited outside for 30 mins in the dark and then had to walk home in the dark. Not only was I charged once for no service provided but twice. Paypal reversed the two charges as I never received the service. I have not used them since and when i looked at the app those two charges are still there.. So i contacted Uber through the chat. After wasting 15 mins chatting with "Jam", he said he was getting customer service to email me, and he abruptly ended the conversation without even saying goodbye. That aside, I still have not received an email. If this is the customer service that Uber provides, perhaps i will continue taking cabs. I am not sure why i was charged twice for no service.. and it isn't about the money. It's about the principle. I don't have a problem sharing this on google reviews either. I am in customer service and this is a complete lack of it.

I feel that I am judged because I do not live far from work and walking home at midnight is not really safe but because it isn't a big ticket ride the drivers don't want to take the ride. I am very disappointed that the drivers judge you and they don't even know the circumstance .I have been using Uber for years and lately it has been pretty crappy.

I didn’t receive my full order, I only received one thing and I ordered 5 things. I contacted uber support right away and they didn’t respond to me until 6 hours later. They said they would let the merchant know what they could do better, they did not help me at all so I messaged again and they said they could not give me a refund because of their policy, but then I saw they give refunds for missing items on there uber help website. This message was again 10 hours later I sent my message and then when I went to message them again it said I was out of the time frame for a refund because I didn’t message in time but I messaged right after my order was “delivered” and they took forever to respond making me not be “eligible” for a refund and still did not help me nor give a refund. Am I suppose to pay for something I didn’t even receive? I am very disappointed with this service, I thought they would follow their website and make it right.

Absolutely appalling support from uber eats. Order is late, I ring the restaurant, they said they have not started my order and it will be another 30-45min so I ask to cancel. They cancel the order and uber still charge me even though they haven't started. The support team say because they have to compensate the vendor for starting? But they did not start so uber have stolen £25 from me and refuse to take it further. Advice is "in future to cancel the order before the vendor accepts" not really applicable in this case. What are you meant to do stay up all night just in case your order shows up? The patronising tone of the support was so out of touch. I won't be using them in future and strongly encourage no one else to either. There are many more alternative vendors who do not steal from you.

Uber One Scam: Somehow got hooked into and Uber One Scam & didn't order it. Discovered they were withdrawing money monthly on month 3. They said they would refund one month, then it never happened. They did not refund the 1st 2. Support basically just closed the chat when I tried to get my money back. Total scammers. Will never use Uber again.

I'm just shocked about the .3. I wish I could give less than one. I've been trying to become an Uber driver for about three months now. There are always problems with the documents and I'm not sure what. I call their help line and never get the same twice. That is, when you can understand what they're saying through their heavily accented, broken English. I don't think "infuriating" is a strong enough of a term. I give up. I decided to sign on with Lyft, and it took less than a week.
