I scheduled a washer/dryer delivery and installation. I did not receive a call the day scheduled so called about 3 pm to ask about my delivery. It took multiple phone calls and long hold times to even get through to someone. Then they couldn't give me an answer on whether delivery was even attempted, but said they needed to reschedule to the next day. I told them I required an early delivery. I didn't get a phone call until noon. The employee who called said they did not get the note about an early delivery and couldn't deliver today and that the next available appointment was in five days. Then he rudely insisted that they had tried to call me the originally scheduled day which they absolutely did not do. Very disappointed in both the service and attitude of the employee. They're trying to remedy it. I just hope it's a good product once it finally gets to me. The Fairbanks, AK Home Depot needs to improve their communication with both customers and fellow employees.

We purchased a washing machine, dryer and refrigerator in June 2021. Washer/dryer were to be delivered 8/31. Dryer not on truck. Told wait 24 to 48 hrs. Then told that again. Then again. It is now September 18th. We were told manufacturer was drop shipping new washer since other one lost and then told it would be delivered today on 9/18. They said the washer and fridge would be on two different trucks but both delivered between 10 and 2. The refrigerator was delivered today around 11:30 am. No washer so my husband called. They said they would call back. We waited and he left another message. Then we got a voicemail that the washer was on a different ticket (yes probably since it was dropshipped due to the error) and now they can't give us any information until Wednesday! Are you kidding me? We are TIRED of waiting. Where is this washer and why do we continue to have to be penalized for Home Depot and their delivery people's errors? Buyer beware! We are fed up!!

It was the first and last time I will buy an appliance at Home Depot. My wife and I originally physically went to Home Depot on July 27th to get a Bosch dishwasher solely on the fact that they had it in stock. Once there, they didn’t have it in stock (contradicting the website of the specific store). We ended up purchasing a lower model because, once again, it was in stock, as told by saleswoman on the floor. We paid for the appliance installation and removal ($159 cdn) and haulaway ($35 cdn) and scheduled delivery for a week and a half later on Aug. 6. After taking the day off for the delivery and installation (as both Home depot and the third party installation conpany called to book the day), I received a phone call the night that it would delayed until the beginning of September. So the entire point of buying the dishwasher because it was available was moot. Plus, it was already paid for so we took our chances and waited another month. The night before the delivery date, once again, i received a phone call, this time an automated one, informing us the new delivery date was in two weeks. We finally received our dishwasher today (Sept. 18), but no word from the installation company, before or after delivery. I was on hold for 3 hours, with 3 home depot reps, only to finally get a number for the third party (a company called QC - Quick Contractors) and have been on hold for another 2 hours and still no word. All tallied, we’ve been without a working dishwasher for almost three months, lost two days of work, plus hours being on hold. This is hard in any situation, nevermind with a toddler and a newborn going through dishes like a family would. I now have a lovely useless Bosch dishwasher in my living room. Thanks Home Depot! Never again.

This will be my last order in my life from Home Depot. The worst customer service ever! I did not change my flooring order one time, but I had to go in the store and call the store 5 times before they got my order right. I did research ahead of time and new exactly what I wanted. I shouldn't have had to spend more than a half hour with Home Depot and I am going on 12 hours. Also, prior to ordering, the lady said we would be installed in 4 weeks. Just informed that it will be just over 7 weeks. Also this morning, I just received a call for my measuring appointment. I told the guy I was scheduled for an install and his response was it must be a mistake and he will correct on his end. What is going on over there????

I have been a loyal customer of Home Depot for years, but recently they have become unwanted due to the lack or poor customer service. I placed an order of $4k for building material online (Northern VA Area). After placing the order, it stated they would reach out in 48 hrs. to schedule the delivery. After the 5th day of not receiving a call, I reached out to HD through their online service chat (since I made an online order) and they reached out to the store that would be providing the products. When I requested to know what HD would do to compensate for the delay on their part the lady by the name of Maria stated: "Since the order is coming from the store inventory they would be the ones able to apply discounts... the delivery was delayed on their end" and told me I had to reach out to the store directly. I feel HD is just giving their customers the run around rather than taking responsibility as one company. At the end of the day, I did place the order online and not at the store. After this back and forth, I rather pay more and use local businesses than a big chain as Home Depot. Customers are just a number to them.

Here in Central Houston, HD has one of their busiest stores on Loop 610 West. They are so secure in their effective monopoly that they don't bother keeping their online inventory updated. I just wasted a trip today to buy 20" drawer slides (over 50 in stock they said), only to find the bin totally empty, and none visible in shelves above. So I went to Lowe's and found what I needed. Maybe it's time to drive the extra mile (and don't even think of finding quality lumber at HD :()

Purchased windows+install. Was totally fed nothing but lies from Salesman 'Bobby'-in the span of 5 months not ONE phone call EVER returned. Even the measure guy had fed me lies- got windows installed and there are pieces all over my house. Told me inspector would come by & then install would come back to do some last step. It's been 3 weeks of me calling and NOT ONE call returned. DO NOT TRUST: SETH HARRINGTON he is not the messiah Salesman BOBBY said he was. KRISTEN AMEY: can someone check if she is a real person because ZERO returned calls, THOMAS BLEVINS - nope - nothing. Jason Adkins - nothing - John Horton - nothing. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE ON PLANET EARTH!

This is the second appliance order (I didn’t learn my lesson the first time)delivery you've managed to give me the run around on. Ordered on August 25, 2021 at 10:27pm CST as they were updating homedepot.com and the system put my zoned stores address instead of my own. I didn’t catch this till my confirmation was sent. Spoke to someone from the delivery team and I get told anytime a customer edits their order after placement it’s considered fraud. She stated she corrected it and it should still arrive Thursday. After not receiving any other update on it I have contacted and spoke with several team members as well as the "Escalations team", and no one did what 1 REGULAR AGENT took care of in less than 5 minutes which was reschedule after it was corrected 2 DAYS AGO. I kept getting told you guys would update the delivery and confirm with me. After calling and speaking with Mrs. Pam, she's the only rep I've dealt with that has basic common sense. The other 4 reps should be reprimanded and retrained on how to handle these situations as you have not only cost me money by having to pay for laundry services, I also missed work for this delivery and will have to miss it again on Tuesday. It's bad enough the Samsung WF42H5000AW/A2 I bought on Sept 11, 2019 just had a complete failure right outside the warranty period, and that delivery had to most shady, rude, and lazy delivery drivers leaving them outside in the rain due to "we don't have enough time to fit it in". Now here I am, giving you a second shot and I still get played around with, while costing me even more money for the second time in a relatively short period for the same type of appliance. I spoke with Mrs. Betty on my original delivery date of 09/02/21 and she said everything was set for delivery on 09/07/21. She was super sweet and helpful, the only rep out of the 8 I had dealt with a that had competence and basic customer service skills. Today, I check my tracking for my delivery window, and see no update or delivery issue message. Upon calling a second time (the first appliance hotline rep wasted 13 mins of my time and hung up in my face cackling) she just decided in the middle of the call to just go silent and all I could hear was hear breathing. She then decided to cancel my order without my consent or agreement and hang up. Now my last savings is tied up in refund hell, they’ve wasted 2 weeks of my time, 4 days of unpaid work, and undue stress sue to sheer unparalleled incompetency. Don’t order from them or fork over your hard work earned money. They’re silly enough to throw 800-900 dollars down the drain for a zipcode change that obviously could’ve been easily changed.

It's not enough space to write the madness me and my family experienced but a long story short is we purchased a refrigerator which was never delivered after confirming the delivery date and time via some computerized call. WHAT A WASTE OF TIME for a no show or call😩 We want the world to know that EVERY Home Depot should have a Jim/Jimmy working for them! Jim works at the Columbus BVD location and knows how to handle a bad situation. Jim should teach a class about good Customer Service and why it's important to some of the other so called managers/employees! Jim turned a nightmare into a happy ending!!! A big thumbs up to Jim. Your Customer Service skills are a reflection of who you are and you represented the Home Depot brand well👍👍👍 Although it took some time we love our refrigerator😁 THANK YOU JIM and keep up the good work 👍

Ordered a screen door from the Scottsdale location -- 7 weeks Ive been waiting for the installation - they told me September 3rd...It was confirmed the day before. My tenant spent the day at home waiting and they never showed up. I called and the sales associate told me...oh there was a problem, we never received the door.....yet they confirmed the installation with me....charged my credit card and now there is no door.... what a nightmare...do biz elsewhere as there is just way too much incompetence going on here.

Home Depot? Good prices? Yes, but not enough to redeem this company from poor business practices. When placing an online order, the total of purchase and store purchased from is known. Yet, the total debited from one's account may be different from that which one agreed to pay when submitting that order online. I was not aware of any fluctuating state tax percentage's in the great state of Illinois so I contacted their customer service. I was graciously given a one time only return of the difference in the amount I agreed to pay and what was actually charged. Lesson not learned. I recently placed two large lumber orders online for delivery with this company. I was to receive a call within 48 hours to confirm delivery. No call was received. I contacted Home Depot and was given the date of delivery. On the day of delivery, I again contacted Home Depot because there was no attempt at delivery. I was told I would be called back in five minutes. After twenty minutes, I contacted Home Depot again of which the young lady informed me she was just getting ready to call me. Pause to reflect on that line. Not only will they not be delivering that day (one week after placing the order) — but my items will not be delivered until the following week. I can only surmise that another customer's delivery suddenly became much more important than my very own. It's not what you know. If that isn't bad enough, Home Depot charged my account for the entire two orders and the amounts have cleared my account; however, I am not in receipt of any items in either order. Orders Cancelled. I will not tolerate nor continue to do business with a company such as the Home Depot in Mattoon Illinois. Its prices do not outweigh such questionable business practices.

DO NOT SHOP THE RIVERVIEW, BRANDON STORE. I went into the store and placed an order for a door and storm door. waited a week to hear from someone to give me a price. Have not heard from anyone, I tried calling Home Depot for two straight days and no one answers the phone. Finally, I called the home office and they transferred to back to the Riverview store in Brandon and was told that my order was cancelled, they could not tell me who cancelled it and no one seems to care. BAD, BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE.

We went to Kitchen Appliance design department. We worked with a designer that was very talented. The problem was they would not return calls or emails after creating a design. We would go to the store to talk to them and if they were busy they promised to call back. That never happened. After agreeing on a plan we paid $100 to have a person come out to take measurements. That person was supposed to call to set a time and day to come out. We never heard from them for 3 weeks. Finally we had enough of extremely poor service and went in to cancel the whole thing and get our money back. So long story short don't use Home Depot to contract any remodel or new builds in your home.

Supposed to have a dryer purchased from Home Depot in King of Prussia, PA on August 3rd. The delivery was scheduled for August 20, 2021, today, between 11 and 3. The delivery was confirmed last week. Dryer never arrived. Called Home Depot 5 separate times beginning at 4:30. Was told they cannot reach the delivery people because their "phones are shut down." The salesperson explained that he could not help me. Called back an hour and a half later. Waited on the phone through 30 rings before someone picked up to tell me that she couldn't find my order. Called back again at 6:30 and asked for the manager. Same story from her. She had no idea what happened. She told me they use Freight Rite for deliveries. I also called the number on the brochure for delivery updates and got a robotic answering machine that told me my delivery was scheduled for September 4th, another two-week delay. What? How did that happen? I never agreed to that. Lesson here is do not shop at Home Depot. Customer service is less than one star. NO one knows anything about anything. Looked up Freight Rite. They are loaded with one-star reviews. Went on Lowe’s website. Same dryer, same price, delivery this Sunday. Lesson learned.

If there is a zero star then I would have given them that. I ordered decking stuff in Blaine Home Depot on May and I was told that it will be on my door step on first week of June. Since it wasn’t there on June I called and was told it will be here by end of July and then called again was told it will be here by end of August and now they are telling it will be here end of September. I am really disappointed by the service. I am a loyal customer and bought every small to big items from Home Depot, from my kitchen appliance to the washing machine but this experience has been horrendous. Talked with the rep here, although he apologized but doesn’t seemed/sounded like one. I guess, it’s basically telling me to go take your business elsewhere which I will. I won’t shop here anymore.

Purchased a GE Dehumidifier today and drove 90 miles round-trip to install in my cabin. Opened the box and immediately knew it was used due to scratches on the cabinet. No manual, no parts, no tubing for the automatic pump. The water tank was filthy.. Returning this item tomorrow and then I'll go to Lowe's. Thanks for nothing Home Depot. You lost me as a customer.
