You may want to strongly reconsider purchasing appliances from Home Depot. I ordered a refrigerator, dishwasher and over microwave, all to be delivered and installed, for approx. $3300. On delivery date, I called to get a delivery timeframe, only to be informed they needed to cancel and reschedule for another day. Had I not called, I guess I would’ve been sitting at home waiting all day for the delivery. I was highly disappointed with Home Depot’s failure to proactively call me to cancel the order so I told the customer service representative to cancel the order. However, she was nice and convinced me to reschedule the delivery in lieu of canceling the order. The delivery was rescheduled for 3 days later. Unbelievably, the rescheduled delivery was a repeat of the prior delivery day. I called to get a delivery timeframe, only to be told that there was no room on the truck for my appliances. I’m flabbergasted at this point, so I cancelled the order and delivery and requested to have my money refunded. I was told the refund would 3-5 days. After day 2, I was refunded $400. I called customer service and was informed that was for the delivery and related expenses. 5 days after that, I was refunded approx. $2,100. Why the partial refunds, when I paid in one installment? After calling customer service again, I’m waiting for them to refund the balance, which is expected in another 2-3 days. I’m not sure what has happened to Home Depot, but my appliance delivery experience has been below terrible. Giving them my money was simple, but getting them to fulfill their obligations was a disgrace that never happened. I’m now seeing reviews from others with similar experiences. How can a company as large as Home Depot not be able to complete deliveries and refund customer’s money in a reasonable amount of time???? Completely unacceptable.

My wife purchased a Home Depot Protection Plan for an LG fridge repair. Instead of getting a cheque for reiimbursement she was given a gift card!! This happened at HD Terry Fox Mississauga Ontario branch. December 16 2024. Why gift card???..its not what we expected should be money for money. This is an added stress my wife is undergoing for having stuck with broken fridge for weeks. Is this the reward we get after being a loyal customer? She had to drive back an forth in cold days and spend valuable time and money just to avail the protection plan. What a waste! Is this some kind of twisted way to deny our insurance claim?

I'm fine with going to the store and getting what I need but the online order is another realm of its own. I ordered 1 package of light bulbs, 48 bulbs in a single package. When the order was delivered, I only received 12 of the 48 with the order claiming to be complete. I called customer service and they issued a return, and we reordered the same product again. Once again the order was delivered, but I only received 12 bulbs. So I called again and asked for another return, this time no reorder. Both orders were picked up and return to a warehouse. Order 2 was accepted and the refund was issued while order 1 went through investigation. After 2 weeks I received an email saying that order 1 was denied a refund because "Our return verification process has identified that we did not receive the item(s) you selected for this return." Honestly i feel like I'm being set up. You guys are claiming I did not return the right product when I did not even receive the right product to begin with. Now their third party refund team is saying I need a transaction #, funny enough this # does not exist so now I have to wait for Home Depot IT department to create a ticket and fix this issue. We could've avoided all this if your packaging team just shipped me the correct order consisting of 48 light bulbs to begin with but now we are here wasting everyone's time.

I took time off from work at the busiest time of year to have my appliances delivered and they going to call a few hours before and say they can not deliver due to shortage of drivers. There should have been a back up plan in place to keep your customers satisfied. I am highly disappointed on this experience.

I went to the Home Depot and was giving the run around while shopping for a bath vanity. The biggest issue was with employer Rabid ( sorry if spelling is correct). But he was rude and very unresponsive to giving any assistance. I am sorry I did not get the female that did assist as I was almost in tears by this experience. This is the one located at Hwy 6 and west Bellfort in houston Texas.

My appliances from Home Depot that I purchased by way of AAFES since my husband is disabled veteran has been an utter nightmare. I have had two deliveries and both Cafe refrigerator has been dented. I have spent hours on the phone with customer service since I purchased eight thousand dolllars in appliances. I am waiting to get confirmation for refrigerator replacement number 3. I will never buy anything else for my home from Home Depot again. This is my first review however I will report it the BBB and Home Depot corporate offices. Disgusting!

Order Odoban in cotton breeze scent online (keeping in mind that it was in stock as indicated) received another scent. Instead of switching the product I had to do a return instead. Home Depot workers need to keep in mind that there are people out here who cannot freely go to their store or is not capable of going and having to deal with errors in deliveries

Do not purchase appliances from Home Depot. On delivery date we were informed dishwasher was on back order. Refrigerator was damaged and bottom drawer of stove is damaged. Customer service has answers. We have to wait a month to get replacements. It’s Christmas and we do not have what we ordered and service is terrible. We will never buy from Home Depot again.

Got a Home Depot credit card when I purchased our appliances. 0% for 6 months. Had a balance of $400 at the end of 6 months and I get charged over $900 in interest on the full amount cause it wasn’t paid off in the 6months. Of course they don’t tell you this nor do people read the fine print. Just another scam to make a fast buck. The card is cut up never to be used again. 28% interest is highway robbery. Thanks a lot Home Depot 😡😡😡

First I start by saying if I could give zero stars I would. Here's my story I ordered Windows and door replacements for my entire house worth over $60,000 on April 2nd 2024. I was promised that delivery time is between 6 to 8 weeks. After months of waiting and multiple calls into home Depot they informed me that my windows and doors will be ready on August 29th. I had to call the central office multiple times and I had to drive into the home depot stores more than a dosen times to finally manage to move my installation date to July 29th. On the day of the installation the crew came in to install the windows and the doors and they discovered that three of the windows were ordered the wrong size. Home Depot re-ordered the three windows that came in the wrong size. Home Depot promise me that will expedite the new order but it still took 12 more weeks to bring the windows to my house. When the installers showed up to install the three new ordered windows they found out all three windows were ordered wrong size yet again. Home Depot placed third order to replace the windows with the wrong sizes again. they finally came to install two of them yesterday and the third is not going to be ready until the end of this month. Now mind you that none of the windows and the doors that were installed have been finished and inspected and I have no screens on my windows to date. This is a project that should have taken 2 months to complete is almost coming on a year and my house is still open not finished. You would expect such a service from a small company, but for a big company such as home Depot this is absolutely unacceptable. The worst is the irresponsiveness and the lack of caring of the staff and their management. They received payment on April 2nd before the start of the project and here I am after paying $64,000 still having an open project in my house waiting for home Depot and their mercy to bring in my last window install it pass inspection finish the installation so we can close it all up and make these windows and doors functional. I personally decided I will never ever buy anything from home Depot even if it's a screwdriver. This experience has been the experience from hell and home Depot's management did not make it easier. Just to give a comparison, during the same period I needed three more windows replaced. I ordered them from the same manufacturer through my contractor and all three windows came in and less than 3 weeks installed and inspected and completed in less than 4 weeks. So if a small contractor can get me the windows in less than 3 weeks get them installed, inspected and completed, I don't understand how a big company such as big home Depot with a large order cannot get this done in over 9 months now.

Michele Khan at the Watchung, NJ Hone Depot store certainly prides herself on Customer service as a representative of The Home Depot brand. Michele K went above and beyond at the self checkout counter with me, making sure I understood all the benefits of being a Pro member. She took me step by step to ensure I would reap many benefits of the Pro Program. Michele K at the NJ, Watchung store is a great asset to the Home Depot customer experience !

Free home delivery for appliances is horrible. Waited home all day on a Saturday, they never came. I thought they'd come first thing Monday, right? Nope, go to the back of the line and wait 10 more days. I've delayed my holiday trip because of this...one of the items is a gift I need to bring with me. If they cancel on me again, my holiday is ruined.

I would just love to thank the Home Depot for canceling my family’s Christmas dinner due to the incompetence of your warehouse or delivery drivers or both for sending all brand new damaged appliances and now having no appliances until the earliest of January 8 in which the old appliances were removed to make room for the new ones . It was not just 1 that was damaged but the fridge looked like it was beat up with a hammer , the range looked like it was dropped folding left rear bottom corner up and the dishwasher that looked like someone ran into the front door , but at least the microwave looks good but does not notify when timer is at end , so I would like to wish all involved a merry freaking Christmas, and oh yeah almost forgot about the customer service agent that told me there is nothing he can do and would not let me speak to his manager and that he didn’t want to waste his time because he had already answered me and that was it !!! Such a great experience especially after I had a terrible experience with my a/c system that I purchased from them several years ago which costed me as much to get their botched install repaired from another company as I had payed them to do the job , I can promise that this will be my last big purchase from them

Home Depot contracts out their delivery service and warranties are not through the store, only the manufacturer. Bought and paid for new kitchen appliances on Oct. 11 and still have a dented refrigerator door and a nonfunctioning dishwasher. It took 3 deliveries to get a functional refrigerator and then the delivery guys dented the refrigerator door and damaged the front door to my home. I was promised a monetary award which they gave me and a new refrigerator door which I have heard nothing about. I have worked with both LG and HD customer service on the nonfunctioning dishwasher and now 7 weeks later I’m not any closer to a resolution. The repairman they sent out said the dishwasher was not repairable. Countless calls and trips to the store and I just keep getting handed off to a new person. I have never in my long life experienced customer service like this. BUYER BEWARE!

I am extremely disappointed with the customer service and delivery experience I’ve had with Home Depot. First, their customer service was unhelpful and dismissive when I reached out for assistance. Then, the delivery process was a complete disaster. My order had to be rescheduled THREE times because they claimed the item wouldn’t fit in their truck—how does that even happen with a company of this size? To make matters worse, neither the management at Home Depot nor the delivery company has taken any meaningful action to fix the issue. I’ve wasted hours on the phone and multiple days waiting around for deliveries that never arrived. This is unacceptable, and I will seriously reconsider shopping here again in the future.

I do not recommend Home Depot for buying home appliances. In June I replaced a washer dryer combo and it took three attempts for the delivery guys to deliver the correct appliance. When this unit was delivered they damaged my Laundry room ceiling and they knock down the over head light. They also attempted to hook up the appliances but do not tighten the connection correctly so there was no power. Home Depot as I understand does not give you a warranty so I had to take it up with Whirlpool. It was not easy getting through to Whirlpool however I finally did talk to someone!! They sent out All Major Appliance Co who had the correct hardware and fixed the problem. These guys from Home Depot had no training and were Rude. If I should need to replace a appliance next time I will be going some were else!

Cheapest delivery service we can find is what associations say. Cancel my order. Went to Famous Tate bought and paid and delivered in less than 24 hours.NEED I SAY MORE. GOTTA LOVE THAT TURTLE.

I went to Home Depot in Biloxi Mississippi, to look for a contractor to build and install a new window in my house's brick wall and to also remodel our laundry room. After providing me with a list of contractors, one of the staff members strongly suggested Elisha Kelly to complete the work. He was the best among the others listed, she said. Needless to say, Elisha ended up being the worst contractor I've ever dealt with. I will now list what happen: 1. Elisha locked up out of our home on purpose: We gave Elisha a key to the front door when he first started working for us. However, one night, Elisah deliberately locked us out of our house by exiting through the gauge door rather than the one he had the key to. Therefore, in order to regain access to our house, we had to call a locksmith. Again, making us spend more unnecessary money. The reason why I knew Elisha meant to lock us out was because earlier that day Elisha got upset with me because I had to talk to him about being disrespectful. 2. Elisha did not install our window correctly: When I first talked to Elisha, he told me he knew how to build a brand-new window, but he did not. He did such a bad job that my neighbor had to finish the installation (who is a brick mason). I also took pictures of how Elisha installed my window for evidence of his horrible work. If anyone would like to see them, please contact me. 5. Elisha attempted to steal my brick following the window demolition: We fired Elisha and enlisted my neighbor to finish the installation. When the contractor inquired about the brick's whereabouts, Elisha falsely claimed the waste collectors from my neighborhood had taken it. However, once Elisha learned that others and I had witnessed him loading the brick into his truck and driving away, he admitted that the brick was at his house and subsequently returned the bricks. So, now my neighbor was able to properly install my brick window. 3. Elisha blocked access to the existing dry vent and outlet after he put back up the drywall: he totally covered it up. So, the outlet needed to be reinstalled by someone else, and my husband had to find the dryer hole in the wall cutting through the wall to gain access to it. It wasn't until we let him go that we realized he had this. It's unbelievable that Home Depot suggested Elisha to me. They must not have thoroughly vetted him. So, ultimately, I blame Home Depot for recommending Elisha Kelly from “Kelly Solution Construction LLC to me. Elisha Kelly is by far the worst contractor I have ever met, and I would not recommend him to anyone. Elish not only extended the time of our project, but he was on occasion disrespectful, deviant and malice. Shame on you Home Depot for having Elisha on your list of contractors to help your customers. The pictures you see below will shoe you two types of trim Elisha install around my window, bad installed crown molding, bad installation of trim in corner of wall (had to be reinstalled by someone else, and a picture of how Elisha put Wood up against the window and did not use my own bricks to outline the window (My window had now been installed correctly by my neighbor who took down the wood around the window and use my brick that Elisha took to his house and was made to return. I did not include the after picture.

The Home Depot Credit card phone # cannot understand my credit card number or my SSN on the phone. There is no way to get to the operator unless it can understand either of those things. All I want to do is check my balance and pay it off. The automation is NOT helpful at all. My query was NEVER answered.
