I bought an item, I was told to send back and pay the return fee for a damaged box, which was clearly opened by someone else, THEN had a dirty controller inside, THEN told me to pay the return fee!! Disgusting

Dreadful avoid online purchasing with HoF it’ll most likely leave you disappointed and out of pocket.

It’s absurd that House of Fraser doesn’t have a proper refund policy! It means if you didn’t like their item, you will not be entitled for refund! You have to buy another item from them. It’s shame for a big company!

Same returns policy as Sports Direct, if you’re not happy with product or need to exchange and they don’t have a suitable replacement they will only give a credit note! Really poor, better off going to another store like John Lewis that has a decent returns policy! If you buy on line you have to pay for returns to get a refund, unless the product is faulty.

I have been on the phone to customer service for 20mins eventually one of your associates picked up I gave her my name and was cut off. I am now in the process of 10mins into my second call …….. not good enough times are stressful enough…… top management need to sort it

Do not buy from here! Terrible customer services, faulty goods and return/exchange policy is shocking. Please save yourself some time and money and go elsewhere

Delivery was sent to the wrong address. I've contacted via email and online chat. Not helpful at all and I paid for next day delivery. I've been told to be patient, that I can't talk to anyone as all working from home and they don't take calls. Over 24hours later after sending photos of my house and the house it got delivered too ( not my road) plus the confirmation email from the courier that yes the package is now lost, I've still not had a response from HOF. Worse customer service EVER!

Non existent ‘customer services’ . Returned an item, and heard nothing. The item was returned to HOF ( tracked by Royal Mail) but I received no communication re., item and got no refund. Despite several emails and ‘chats’, haven’t received a refund of nearly £200. Shocking service from a company that once upon a time had a very good reputation. Avoid HOF like the plague /COVID

Bad customer service , expensive delivery options. for returns, they will force you to accept store credit if you want to return it in a shop, otherwise you have to pay for the return postage. I will make sure I will buy my stuff from different shops with better service.

The worst customer services I have ever had second to flannels, which is also owned by Mike Ashley. They have no returns service except in the case of a defective product - and I bought a £900 coat, which WAS defective, which they claimed wasn’t! For a defective item that expensive I’d expect Mike Ashley himself to show up in a red thong to collect my item while doing a little dance and offering to wipe my rear end with the back of his own hand! And can you complain? No. They have no live chat service, they don’t reply emails for days on end, there’s no number to call, and their Twitter support is next to useless, being run by two degenerates called Amy and Angela who will literally take a full 24 hours to reply a query. I will never use a Mike Ashley company ever again.

AVOID AVOID AVOID!!! Most horrendous customer service. Ordered online and they sent my packages separately as well as them being damaged. YOU then have to return them all separately and pay for all the postage. The Cardiff staff are incredibly rude. Was told I can only get a credit note and not a refund, and even if I sent the items back I would never receive a refund. Tried emailing and had no response. I tried the chat, and they are just as rude. They end the chat suddenly so you have to restart with someone else. The WORST service you will ever receive. Left with £300 of faulty items.

Order places on 9th December. Had dispatch notice emailed to me. Order has not arrived. Hermes say a supply chain delay. There is no way to contact House of Fraser other than their chat bot. Worst customer service I have experienced in on-line shopping. No refund, no delivery. Come on House of Fraser!

Assistant with long dark hair served me today on the Clinique counter in the Maidstone branch. I believe she works on the Benefit Counter. Her mask was underneath her chin. She said wearing a mask all day makes her feel hot. I understand that but she should at least slip her mask on properly when serving people who are often vulnerable. She wasn't exactly rushed off her feet.

Bought pair of jeans 1 st January n there have a big rip at pocket £110 they won’t return them swap them told me there nothing they can do but take your wick as lightning.absolutely Terible not would they send them back to manufacture..wouldn’t recommend them and Sertanly won’t be back

Awful & The Worst Customer Service Ever!!! AVOID!!! Avoid HOF at all cost. Ordered a couple of items before Christmas, received one wrong item and one damaged / used - absolutely disgusting!!! Customer service is Non-Existent. No replies, unable to talk to anyone. Items sent back but still no refund. Will never buy anything from them again!!!

useless absolutely shocking!, ordered online on December 26th, we are now at 10th January and still no sign of my order being delivered, an email from Hermes saying there is a problem and after contacting House of Fraser they eventually answered my complaint to be told it will take 7 - 10 days to investigate whats happened.....7 - 10 days! who the hell is doing the investigating for it to take that long .....Johnny English.....inspector Cluseau!? what about a quick phone call to Hermes to ask them whats happened, surly that cant take 7 - 10 days.....can it?....useless....first time I have purchased online at House of fraser and will certainly be the last....stick to Amazon folks.We

Ordered online on the 28th December, Not received by 6th January opened a case online as you can not speak to anyone. It's now the 10th and still no response or update ? and no way to speak to anyone!

Scrap your next day delivery promise from your website as that will never happen as your reviews state especially while using the worst delivery company in the Uk in Hermes.I placed my order at 1am Friday for next day delivery on Ssturday and its still not arrived and wont be until Monday at the earliest.House Of Fraser customer service has not replied to my emails within 24 hours i suggest you hire more staff if you want a good customer service team behind you and hopefully when someone gets back to me they will refund my £7.99 next day delivery that has clearly not happened and you can also have your goods returned once they eventually do turn up sometime in the future goods i have already paid for and for the delivery of.From Damon Moffatt. Please see attachment with order number and proof the goods have been stuck not moving in Hermes Depot since 2 am Saturday morning.

I didn't read the whole returns policy which is entirely my fault. However, I am very disappointed that you cannot return items to the shop and get a refund. Only a gift card. I also spent £10 returning the boots I had ordered online. Won't be ordering online again from Frasers.
