Very time consuming to order online, many things not available, you realize after selecting. Selected 7 items browsing for 2 hours. While making the payment, though entered PAN no., tried uploading PAN, keeps on showing 'the site isn't working'. Amazon is much more convenient.

Uh ho. It’s 4:40 am and this is how I’m spending my time. After reading reviews on this sight and others I am coming to understand that the delivery of the Morabo sofa I ordered and paid for on June 7, 2021 may not happen. First delivery date was set for July 9, 2021. I received an email a few days prior saying it was changed to August 8th. Called the 1-888 number and lady upped delivery to July 18th. Well that day came and went—not a word. I reached customer service on July 19th. She said to call TForce Trucking —they would know. Nope. I don’t have a tracking number for TForce so my contact info. not in TForce system. They said to get a tracking number. Then, received an email later on July 19th from IKEA stating new delivery day of August 30, 2021. Clearly, IKEA doesn’t know what it’s doing. The employees are stuck trying to appease probably 1’000s of customers who have ordered and paid for their items in good faith but who are now relegated to waiting ad infinitum. Go to your local library and get the little children’s book “Waiting is Not Easy” by Mo Willems. I discovered it yesterday. It might help you, too. Best of luck.

I literally paid £40 for delivery for it to be here for a persific date for them to turn round and tell me it wasn't turning up till the day after I had to take time of work but I rang them up they told me it was still in the warehouse I asked for some sort of refund as I'm having to take another day of work and they offered me a "massive" £15 in-store credit but I work for more than £15 a day and when I told them I would leave a bad review for there appaulling customer services they said they didn't care!

If could give less I would. I had been waiting a month for my delivery. I received my txt saying it was coming next day. I took and got rid of wardrobe took day off work. Given a time slot of between 9 till 13.00 it got to 14.00 no delivery. Checked online status says being picked. I decided to ring. After a woman with a poor attitude finally got back to me she told me I wouldn't be receiving it untill a months time. Her attitude was one which made me feel my custom wasn't needed.

I ordered on June 11, 2021, a full kitchen furniture and full home appliances from Ikea (Romania), but I was delivered a kitchen without 5 doors and I wasn't delivered with handles for any doors or drawers. I wasn't told that the doors will arrive late in stock, it was only after I called Customer Services to ask for the doors that I found out they will arrive on September or maybe never. I was told that the doors will come in 2 months. I sent several emails asking for a solution, but Ikea came to install the incomplete kitchen and afterwards offered to change all doors with doors from an inferior product (as price and design), announcing me that the 5 missing doors will be delivered in 3 months instead of 2 months. I then asked for a discount, as all my things have been and are currently on the floor and I am not able to use the kitchen for more than 50%, and Ikea refused to grant me a discount and propose the installation of provisory doors at my cost. I proposed Ikea to pay for the provisory solution and refused to do so, claiming system issues :). I then asked for the handles to be delivered and I have now to wait one more week for their installation. I regret buying the kitchen from this company, I thought they are professional and customer oriented, but their approach is abusive and neglectful and rigid. Moreover, the advertising they make about their products and services is misleading, as the quality of their services is low.

I bought a Henmes TV unit that had 2 of the same (rt) pieces for the base of the unit. Called after 86 hours to speak with someone. The part was to be shipped to me. Never arrived through FedEx. I call back to speak with a manager, I'm transferred to general calling. Completely not a business with the most completicated installation map. I do a quarter of a million on ordering for office supplies and this awful company is gone. I recommend going through Amazon where help is ammediate. The meatballsand mashed potatoes tasted... Like nothing. Just awful. This is a group that has lost control on business basics. Order from Amazon!

Worst experience! Give my $800 back, Ikea! Short story: My $800 Farlov sofa order was never delivered as promised by ikea and my subsequent refund request also never happened after months! My $800 just disappeared without a trace. Ikea, stop acting like a scam company. Long story: Part 1: Called customer services multiple times where my sofa was. They always promised to deliver my sofa in the coming weeks. On the scheduled delivery day, I waited at home and watched my phone all day to avoid missing ANY calls, but every time , there was no one called me or my building and I wasted my time waiting at home like an idiot. This happened in 5-6 re-delivery attempts to the point where I decided to call to cancel my order and have a refund. Part 2: Hell I didn't know my nightmare didn't stop in part 1. After my refund request, I waited for two weeks, because it takes Ikea 6-8 business days to process a refund. After two weeks, I still didn't get the refund per my bank statement. Called customer the 10th time, and they asked me to call my bank lol I didn't give up and ask Ikea customer services to check again, and they found that the local store (Schaumburg), instead of issuing a cash refund, had issued a STORE CREDIT without even mentioning to me or getting my consent.

A simple REFUND of £9.95 has been delayed for over six weeks. NINE (9) Members of IKEA back-office staff handled the matter and even today, the refund has not been concluded. IKEA e-voucher has been agreed for the REFUND, Two different dates were given to me that the IKEA e-voucher was emailed on 14th June 2021 and then yesterday the date was changed to 16th June 2021. Both were fake dates, the e-voucher was not sent at all.

I live locally to Nottingham store, and purchased a kitchen from there worth a lot of money. Unfortunatly they did not have all parts available and did not know when it would be back in stock. I then checked online, and found all parts were available at the reading store. I went first thing in the morning, driving 2.5 hours to get it. When I went there, I spoke to Katarzyna D (kAT)at customer services. She told me only had 5 in stock (i needed 6). Before I left my house, I did check online and 6 of them was available. However that was fine and I bought everything available. When I went to collect my order, I saw there was another customer service desk which dealt with returns etc. There was no one there so I thought I would double check as I had drove a long way. That service member told me the store had one more in stock. She told me if I wanted it I would have to go back to the desk where Katarzyna D(KAT) was. I went back, and there was a queue and I did wait another 15 mins in the queue to see her. I informed her that another staff member had told me there was an extra one in stock available. She then said "why didn't you buy it from there then" in a rude tone. I said they sent me here. I asked politely "would you be kind enough to check one more time please". She rolled her eyes and I asked her a few more times to check as I have told differently. She rang someone one the second floor and said rudely and loudly "this customer has come back and wants us to check 100 more times". I said "excuse me" and and was shocked at the rudeness, as I was only asking because of what a different staff member had told me. She then said "do you want me to look or not". I said "are you going to speak to me like this" and her response was "don't tell me how to do my job". In then end the item was not in stock. That's what she told me. I have never been so embarrassed and spoken to so rudely in my whole life. I'm so angry at the level of customer service, especially after I have just spent an incredible amount of money for the kitchen. I hope some action is taken to to prevent this kind of customer service being given to someone else.

I ordered a Norden gateleg table, the birch option. The good points: 1) The material itself was impressive; it claimed to be solid birch, and it certainly seemed much more solid and heavy than any plywood or fiberboard I've worked with. 2) The instructions were fairly clear, though not without some uncertain spots. 3) The overall design seems good. The bad point: 1) Assembly was a nightmare. It comes with 42 short machine screws, and almost none of the pre-drilled holes could accommodate more than half of the screw. As a result, the folding leaves are unstable and the table seems generally unsafe to use. I'm giving 2 stars because of the good points cited above and the possibility that this was an unusual manufacturing defect. However, given that they don't allow product reviews on the US site, I'm guessing they know this is status quo.

This is the worst company ever. We ordered two couches and waited for several weeks for them to deliver them. Then they delivered them to a different place which was their own warehouse. After multiple calls they delivered the couches to their store and not our house. I had to literally drive over two hours to talk to someone because their customer service cannot get a hold of their own store. I have three children that had to all come with me to talk to someone in person. This is a horrible company that has no customer service and needs to shut down because they cannot even deliver a simple order of two couches.

Like many others I was extremely disappointed to hear that IKEA withdrew advertising on GB News because of a conflict of values. If this means disagreeing with free speech and values which the majority of British people hold dear, I believe IKEA has lost its way. As a customer who has spent literally thousands of GB pounds over the years, I wonder what the company is playing at now. Having lived in Sweden and been impressed by IKEA before they even came to the UK, I always loved my visits to their stores in the UK. My view of IKEA is now sadly tainted and I won't be in a hurry to be back - sorry about that, but thanks for your service over past years.

If I could give 0 stars I would. This is by far the worst customer service I have ever received. We ordered some seat pad cushions for the solleron sofa, a recliner chair and a load of other items which came to near £500 along with a £40 delivery charge. The day before we received confirmation that our order was due the following day between 7-11. We waited in (we booked the day off work especially) and it didn’t arrive. I rang IKEA customer services and the gentleman said on the phone “it should arrive today but might be late. It says your order is delayed” this had not been communicated to us at all via text or email. We patiently waited for a further 4 hours and the items still had not arrived. I rang up and spoke to the same gentleman as before who told me that our order had encounter an error… wouldn’t come today and that some of the items were out of stock. Again… no communication from IKEA. No email, text or phone call. It’s just common courtesy. The gentleman said they would redeliver another day which we begrudgingly agreed to only to be told there’s no guarantee it will arrive on that day and that we would be best ringing up two days before to check it would arrive. Why is that my job as the customer? It is the most basic level of customer service to keep customers up to date on their order. We then cancelled the order and we’re told as a gesture of good will…. That they would also refund the delivery charge. Big round of applause IKEA. Thank you so much for refunding me for the delivery that you never delivered. Oh and the icing on the cake, if our refund isn’t in our account within 10 days… we need to ring and chase that up too. Safe to say we won’t be ordering again in a hurry. I also fully expect that IKEA won’t learn anything from this review as the thousands of others I’ve read on here today say exactly the same and clearly that’s not worked. If you’re thinking of ordering, think twice.

Fascist and discriminating company. Vile and aggressive to anyone who cannot wear a mask. I was raped and gagged and cannot wear a mask. They want me to wear a green bracelet and made me tell them this. It is private and really hard to have to say this. Awful!!!!

I am rating Ikea as Poor due to their customer service. I specifically phoned to discuss the delivery of some furniture to my 92 year old Mother-in-Law who is moving into a 1st floor apartment & wanted to confirm that the delivery would be OK as there are 14 straight steps to her apartment. I was advised that they could not guarantee delivery and the driver would make a Health & Safety assessment at the point of delivery. When asked for a copy of the criteria I was advised that they didn't have this and it was 'down to the driver'. I then asked how a 92 year old lady was potentially going to have to move the delivery from the bottom of the stairs they could not answer. It will be interesting to see what occurs when the delivery is made, or not as other companies have delivered such items as fridge freezers with no problem!

i've ordered from Ikea twice. Always damaged goods or missing parts. Trying to get a refund is a 5-hour ordeal. They transfer endlessly, intentionally disconnect, wait times are ridiculous. It takes 6 weeks to receive a credit. If you must, go to the store so you know what you are getting. They are not set up to service and deliver to customers.
