I have been holding on for decent sized order as Ikea system does not reflect the dresser that is in stock. 2+ hours of phone interaction sumised this issue. Issue has not not been resolved, emails and calls not returned. Ikea can go pack sand. I found another outlet source that is half the cost. June 1st i am renovating a 119 room hotel. NONE of your products will be part of the decor.

I purchased a laundry basket on wheels. Two of the screws did not have threads. They had scratch lines where the screws threads should be but no threads. Called customer service - wouldn't send me a replacement for the faulty screws. They aren't standard screws so I couldn't find a suitable replacement at the hardware store. I ended up just throwing the laundry basket away and buying one from Bed, Bath & Beyond. Risky to shop at Ikea - prices may be good, but not if you can't use what you buy.

Ordered a kitchen and told that the sink is not in at this time, that was February. The store tells me it may take several months that's right months. To this day it's still not in. What real scum bags. The founder I can tell must have been a real scumbag himself because they leave people hanging for months and then when you say you like to order from another store they tell you we don't operate that way so basically it's okay to screw people over make them wait.. Funny I questioned the countertop people about placing the order when I do the countertop and Ikea charges $40 for each flight of stairs yet the company doesn't see any part of that money that's just a scam Again by the scumbags of Ikea

We were in charge of breakfast at a rally of motor homes in Tampa. To make a break in the routine of preparing scrambled eggs and frying bacon for 30 people at the clubhouse, I checked with the food service lady a few days ahead to see if they'd accommodate us. Lorie was most accommodating. She agreed to serve the $1 special with coffee and I was to count our club members at checkout and then pay for their food. The group breakfast was a big success. Lorie had briefed the cashiers, getting the food and drink went smooth as silk and they did the counting. The bill was prepared as the last of us passed the checkout, and she had reserved a section for us to sit together. Miss Lorie made good preparations, and because the majority of attendees had never been to IKEA before, the Company was a winner as well.

Everything about Ikea is wrong, worst service ever. We have been trying to get items delivered as the original pieces were broken, We have to spend hours on the phone to even talk with someone and them we get cut off. I can't believe how bad this company is in the US, meanwhile we still don't have our pieces which we paid for.

Shocking service! I had a small simple kitchen planned by Ikea last October and it was disaster from the start. The problems I experienced are far too much to relate here. The planner was inexperienced and had to return to my property weeks later to start again as there were so many errors. The installation which was outsourced was good as the fitters were very experienced although I was overcharged by their installation company when a simple alteration was advised by their electrician. Also, wrong parts were sent for the cooker fan and a wrong cupboard. No, I do not advise anyone using Ikea to plan their kitchen as planners are inexperienced and there is no communication between Ikea and the installing company and it is the customer left in the middle without their kitchen completed six months down the line. They take your money and then leave you asking for some sort of service which you just don't get. I don't think they even take any notice of reviews either.

I am 51 years old. I would give zero stars if this interface allowed. I have NEVER, EVER received worse customer service than with IKEA. I have called 14 times now, and wasted at least as many hours on the phone, and had only ONE SIMPLE ORDER from the beginning. The consistent incompetence, rudeness, ignorance, irresponsibility, obtuseness, and obstinance I encountered with every single IKEA representative who has claimed to send the parts package that I need to assemble my IKEA couch, and then failed to follow up and return my calls and repeatedly sent the wrong parts WHEN I’VE READ THEM – PART NUMBER BY PART NUMBER – OVER THE PHONE, four times now!, is beyond comprehension. FOUR TIMES NOW YOU HAVE SENT THE WRONG PARTS, AND 14 CALLS AND AT LEAST AS MANY HOURS ON THE PHONE LATER, AND I CANNOT PUT THE COUCH TOGETHER THAT I PAID FOR. We have so many ‘case numbers’ from these calls I cannot list them all. Not a single promise made by your representatives regarding returning phone calls, sending the right parts, WHEN they’re sending (the wrong) parts, when they’ll be at work to take my calls, has been kept. You have not told the truth a single time, to the point of illegal and disgraceful misrepresentation. You are in the process of building a store 10 minutes from us (Jacksonville, FL), and we are notifying both our local and state consumer protection bureaus, repeatedly, along with the appropriate federal consumer protection agencies. We now have Emails for the president of IKEA US (Michael Ward) and most of your board of directors. They will be notified, repeatedly, as of today. So you had better send us the parts – THE RIGHT PARTS – to the couch that we have already paid for TODAY, 4/1/17.

Linnmon table is an absolute piece of garbage. Literally. Ended up having to throw it away before assembly was possible. The holes to screw in the legs are so tight and the screws are made of the cheapest metal imaginable. The screws strip making it impossible to assemble. I could have gone out and purchased an electric drill but--forget that--that would cost more than the product itself. This isn't the first time this has happened with Ikea products. I'm DONE with Ikea. It wouldn't be worth returning by mail because the postage would way exceed the cost of the product. Beware their products. Most of them look nice but have no structural integrity.

I place an online order on January 26, 2017 and it is now March 20th and they still have not shipped out my order. I called after a month and asked what was going on and of course they had me on hold for over an hr and then told me "sorry the warehouse is running behind on their shipping, i will put it in again for you and u should get it with 5-7 business days". I waited another 2 weeks and still NOTHING. I called back and was told that they still hadnt shipped it and werent sure when they could ship it, mind you when i placed my order online it said i would receive it 5-7 business days. Its been a month now since then and i called back again. wednesday the 15th of march and they said they didnt know when they would ship it and had no tracking or any number to give to me so i could be up to date on my order. Never again will i shop there or order anything from them. Being such a big company you would expect them to be on top of everything, but no, they just take your money and dont ever ship your order.

Ordering from IKEA was a nightmare, and I will never order from them again. The company I work for was preparing to do renovations to our office, which has to be done quickly and all at once so that our office is shut down for as little time as possible. (Office shut down = no revenue.) We ordered two desks for the renovations, and the whole process was scheduled around when the desks would arrive, as they were the critical part. We paid $349 for shipping, but it was not worth it. We received an email the next week, saying the shipping company would contact us within 2-3 business days. 5 business days later, we received no call. Therefore, we called IKEA, who attempted to connect us with their shipping company. I waited on hold for 30 minutes with no response. I then called the shipping company myself, and though I was unable to speak to a person, I was put on hold. I was on hold for 2 hours, unable to work efficiently or take calls during those 2 hours. The next day, I called again, and was told they were closed the previous day due to bad weather. I was never told this by IKEA or the shipping company. IKEA, using the shipping company, should have known this, and been able to answer our question. Finally, I was able to call and get ahold of the shipping company. I was put on hold and rerouted multiple times until they finally gave me the appropriate tracking number and the number for the local shipping company they used. I called this separate company, and after being put on hold again, they finally told me I should have received a call and the desks would be delivered. IKEA needs to figure their shipping process out. This could have all been avoided, and they could've had multiple loyal customers if they had only done the proper thing and at least contacted us.

I was shopping on Sunday March 12, 2017. Woodbridge IKEA, I wanting to test some of the sales agents multi tasking and so I asked a question while there was a line, now some would say it's interrupting the line but it was a qusetion to an item that was not even in stock, and so I would of waited in line for nothing. But as I walked away and angry customer approached me and came into my space, the wrong way by placing hands on. Call it Retail rage and the sales agent got a kick out of it and laughed. It is an unstabe store I called for management and the polite lady said "we all have master derees working in this store" and she gave a temprary fix that was not a long term solution. The right thing was to call the authorties to keep your customers safe in the store. It was a diasater will never enter that store again I felt violated .

We buy a lot of Ikea products and do not appreciate your advertising in my kids magazines promoting your political agendas! Not your place to do that! I am seriously considering boycotting your store!

Made a couple thousand dollar order online. There is no information regarding the delivery services and that in my area....they only deliver on a Saturday. This is coming to a business that is not open on a Saturday. So I have to pay my employees extra to wait around for a delivery service that is only 30 miles away but gives me an eight hour window to deliver. You are not allowed to pick the order up. Cancelled the order. Will not do that again. Sad to be this angry...but as my employees said..."they don't care". Even my own employees know that. Lesson learned.

This company offered lowest rate for pick up and delivery service. I just arrived to New York on Monday and needed last minute delivery. Sasha delivered everything and also helped build the bed. Just to let you know this is not the store! But service they offer is all I needed, because IKEA store located in Brooklyn .... too far... Thank you.

I spent £300 on a chair and other items. Was forced to purchase a footstool via checkout and customer collection. 1 and 1/2 hours later I finally received the footstool. The manager was rude to my husband stating he was loud. He is profoundly deaf in one ear and wears an obvious hearing aid. He wasn't being loud but attempting to complain about the poor customer service. I started to film on my phone the manager attempted to grab my phone and in doing so hit my finger backwards, which was painful as I have arthritis. She was surrounded by 3 members of staff, young and fit. My husband and I are in our fifties and both disabled. My husband is gentle and quiet. They did not want us to complain in front of other customers. We were going to buy a kitchen from them but not anymore. In fact after reading the reviews we have been spared a nightmare. Never again will we shop in Ikea. Terrible store (manchester) in our opinion. Dreadful. I used to love Ikea but never again.

Had coffee & cake at ikea Marsden park when a customer left table after eating and walked past the ikea staff doing the cleaning, unfortunately staff asked customer to go back the table and pick up the dirty dishes when it is staff job to do it cause customer had already left the table. Isnt it too much for her to do it for the customer? Where is the customer service here?
