I ordered online. Delivery date was communicated. By email and text message. All that came, no delivery. On the website if the transportation company was mentioned that it was delivered. I do understand technical issues. I do NOT understand no communication. Thessaloniki, Greece

I am reviewing Ikea Draper UT only and the only reason I am giving giving them 2 stars is because of their wonderful employees. Otherwise it would be no stars if I could do that. All the employees were very good and I have no complaint with them. Apparently they have a robotic device that retrieves items from the warehouse instead of the customer getting it off the shelves. Draper is the only Ikea with this robot. If you choose an item that doesn't identify where you pick it up you have to wait in line to get an order number to take with you to check out. After you pay for it you wait in a line for the robot to retrieve it. Well we waited from 12:35 to 1:26! The robot was broken which we were told happens on a daily basis, making employees deal with us customers that can wait for long periods of time. This was after waiting in line to get in, then waiting in the checkout line for about 15-20 minutes. Both of those lines didn't bother me. This store was the testing ground for the robot, and from what was explained to me Ikea refuses to get rid of it and can't fix it because those who installed and should be maintaining it are now gone. The item I bought did not fit so I had to return it. Went to the returns desk, waited for about 5 minutes, was then told I had to go outside and wait in line to get a number. Went outside, waited about 15 minutes, when I got closer to the front of the line I heard the employees calling out names. What I never saw or knew was that you had to use a bar code or a text to get a number in order to process your return outside then bring a number inside to get a credit or your money back. A number of people did the same thing I did waiting in line without knowing about the bar code/text. Again the employees were very good, these ridiculous procedures are not their fault and they seem to handle upset customers very well. I guess they have lots of practice. I really like Ikea but this experience will make me question whether to shop there again and I will definitely not buy an item that uses the robot to retrieve it.

The customer service was excellent, I cnotated them through their website and spoke the nicest most patient and helpful customer advisors I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with, they went above and beyond the call off duty to assist me and resolved my query very quickly with a positive outcome. Use the ikea website to contact them, they have such well mannered and accommodating staff. 10 out of 10 from me! Especially Aleksandra, such a helpful pleasant young lady.

I placed an order in July for furniture- a delivery date of 18/08/20- £39 delivery charge. Waiting in all day- log on to my account as the delivery is 4 hours late- and the delivery date has slyly been changed to September- no email or anything from ikea. Try to speak to someone on customer services but I got a robot that repeatedly asked for the order number and email- then. Tried to actually phone and speak to someone but got some sort of complaints company- that is computerised. Ikea just expect you to take days off work waiting for their orders to then change the date without even informing you! Terrible experience and daughter so disappointed that she still hasn’t got her furniture- it’s not like it’s made to order!!

Placed order with Ikea on line 07/25/20 and used the Ikea credit card. Well, the amount was posted on 07/26/20 for payment. It is 08/15/20 and my order has not even been picked yet, but they want the payment. I have contacted the credit card company. I have no one to blame but myself, I should have read the reviews first. Will NEVER order from them again. It is sad that this company does not care. Please---read the reviews before placing any orders, better yet don't place any orders with them. If you can't get to the store to buy what you need, go elsewhere and save yourself a headache......

First, the executives have decided to close down my local store for fear. Next I order some furniture, and of course you can't go to the store and pick it up, so I finally broke down and ordered online. A month to deliver? You have to be kidding. Finally received it today and because their packaging is so crappy it is damaged. Now waiting on the phone for 30 minutes so far wasting more of my time to get it returned. Just unbelievable. Ikea used to be a fun place to visit. Now not worth the hassle. Go to your local furniture store instead.

To everyone who is still waiting on their delivery even though the “estimated delivery date” is already in the past with no updates in sight, please give up. IKEA ran my card $2.5 grand and my furniture was sitting in a warehouse for weeks. Customer service agent incompetent at best. Then they stopped answering their lines completely. Weeks later I receive an email, IKEA cancelled my order and wiped my items in my account, (which I carefully selected) clear. No furniture, no money. No updates, no communication. No longer a customer.

I went to ikea’s website, carefully selected specific sizes and shades of furniture, and checked out. I chose the delivery option due to the fact that my small children will not wear masks, and we decided to avoid large crowds. The total was nearly $2,500 charged to my card. IKEA gave me an “estimated date of arrival”, and the time frame (between 9am-9pm.) Since my order needed to be signed for and I live in an apartment, I wanted to be sure I was home during the delivery. On the date listed, I waited all day for the delivery, which never arrived. One week later, there was no change to the estimated delivery date (it was in the past). After calling customer service pressing all possible prompts, I was transferred to a customer service agent. I’ve never received such lack of care and help on a customer service call. The woman told me the date is just an estimate, not accurate. And that in fact my order was sitting in the warehouse still. I asked her for an updated delivery date, and she said she didn’t know. IKEA charged me nearly $2,500 and my furniture was sitting in a warehouse with no delivery date in sight. Not even another “estimate”. This is unacceptable! After 3 weeks I receive an email stating my order has been CANCELLED. My cart and history in my account wiped clear. Every item I carefully selected, IKEA deleted. The email said that the $2,500 would be refunded in about two weeks. That’s over a month. No money, no furniture, no communication, no updates. I’m beyond disappointed with this company. How come other giants like Walmart and target are able to keep up with supply and demand just fine and IKEA just falls apart?!

3 weeks I ordered. Order still in process or still on its way. Ikea needs some technology as it is a terrible service and a logistic nightmare. I was going to place another big order but I learned how this company is unreliable.

Ordered a large tv unit and took 3 weeks to be delivered to a store near me but it was incomplete and services said they would deliver the parts(which would’ve come in another month). So drove to the store and gave them all the goods back they promised to refund which never happened till a week later when I opened a case with PayPal who got my refund the next day! Do not order online with Ikea as you’ll struggle to get your money back and may get incomplete packages!

Horrivle product Brusali cabinet. Parts missing, poor instructions, wrong directions made it impossible to properkly assemble. Wasted 6 hours, but it is still so wobbly I wouldn't trust it. I wrote a bad review review, and IKEA bounced it, saying it violated their privacy policy. But I gave no privacy information at all! Seems like they no longer put negative reviews on their website. And forget trying to reach them I called six times, and the average wait time was to be 72 minutes! If they can't service what they sell, they should just shut down for now. Bad company!

To All those that Might Want to Avoid Falling Victims to Criminal Organizations: To the Consumers out there, I was an Employee of Ikea from 1991 to 1995; Ikea's owner Ivan Kamper was affiliated with Nazis Hitler; he hires War Prisoners and US employees and pays them minimum salary. Ikea's Director of Advertisement Josefina describes and advertises on the floor of the US West Stores female employees size of their Clitoris and Diagnoses IKea Employees as having "CLINTONITIS" during the Clinton Administration and HR Director Chuck asks female employees to "SIT ON HIS LAPS". These EUROPEANS SWEDES COULD NOT BE MORE DEMORALIZING TO THE WORK FORCE AND VIOLATORS OF CIVIL & LABOR LAWS BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT MORE CRIMINALS. Their Black Employees get Shot and Killed so often that is Questionable WHY BLACK EMPLOYEES THAT WORK FOR IKEA GET KILL....OBVIOUSLY SWEDES ARE RACISTS AGAINST BLACK & HISPANICS and they Hire Them to Describe the Size of their Private Clitoris and to Kill Black Employees.....they were behind the Shooting of Cop Christopher in Torrance Sports Chalet and Big Bear to Marry their Prinscess Magdalene to a White Guy named Christopher. The Swedes are Buying USA Technology in the form of Radio and Sound Amplifiers made by Jews in Culver City and reselling it to the Russians. The USA State Department has Banned any and all Sales of USA Radio Amphlifiers and Technology to the Swedes because they turn around and sell the USA Technology to the Russians. The Swedes also provide Free Transportation in the Form of Volvo Automobiles to transport and move around the Wife of RAUL MODESTO CASTRO. They are Pro-Communist and one of the Worst Places to Work and to Buy Furniture from; which is cheap plywood and Costs the Price of what you would pay for Good Furniture some where else. IKEA is NOT recommended to buy furniture for its Low QUALITY LEVEL...THEY ARE A CRAZY ORGANIZATION; and as an Employer their NON-Ethicals of describing Employee's PRIVATE PARTS; AND shooting dead and Killing Black Employees is well known in the Carson Store. I worked in the Corporate Department and they Are AS TRASHY AS ASSOCIATING WITH CASTRO'S COMMUNISM TO RAPE THEIR Female EMPLOYEES AT THE HANDS OF UNIVISION WHILE THEY WERE ADVERTISING IN THE CHRISTINA SHOW, in Channel 23 to marry their Jews and Europeans as Princess. When you think about buying a Piece of Furniture at IKEA think about who they Rape their Employees and Shoot them dead and band with the Castro Dictatorship to oppress and use the Anchorman of Univision Guillermo Benites, Channel 23 to take the employees to the same location their Company Controller Judy Dattels use to Vacation in Las Vegas or San Francisco to Rape her employees so Judy Dattles could marry her Jewish Daughter to a Criminal; and how they sell their Cars to the Castros and the Kremlin, and shoot black employees to their death. I experienced this treatment being Transferred from Jews at Carnival Cruise Lines to a Jew Controller at IKEA in the Carson Headquarters of the area West. These SWEEDES ARE AS CRIMINALS AS JEFFREY EIPSTEIN AND HARVEY WEINSTEIN. And if you get on a Ship of Carnival Cruise Lines you might not only catch Covid-19 but the Jewish Board and Owners of CCL have NO ETHICAL VALUES AND THEY MIGHT GO FOR YOUR PRIVATE PARTS AND FOR DESCRIBE RIGHT ON THE BOARD OF THEIR CRUISESHIPS YOUR ENTIRE PRIVATE LIVE. THEY ARE THE MOST DEMORALIZED CORPORATE ENVIRONMENTS THAT YOU CAN COME ACROSS JEWSHISH CARNIVAL CRUISES LINES & SWEEDES IKEA INTERNATIONAL. Besides that they furniture is cheap and pressed recycled crunches.

Worst customer service ever! The biggest mistake we made was to order sofa and sectional from ikea! It has been 3 weeks and still not delivered! Their customer service does not pick up phone (tried for 2 hours). Tried dm on twitter and a response comes after 7 days stating yes it will be delivered on 8/8. Come 8/8.. text from ikea that it will be rescheduled! If you are spending 2000$ on furniture, the least you expect is basic customer service! Can’t even review the product as I have not received it after 3 weeks and I am not sure if I will receive it or get my money back! Will complain to BBB for sure but other buyers beware of this 0 customer service company

I was shocked that IKEA was not practicing COVID19 protocols. No one was monitoring the number of people entering nor the social distancing throughout the store.

Can’t get a hold when calling - and tried many times, different options They have only 2 number and they hang up Scheduled a delivery day and not an update the day before or on the expected day, no note of being late - big nothing Very disappointed and frustrated If IKEA can’t support the customer need, get more employees at least to call or email customers With an order update

We ordered our love seats from Ikea. They sent the love seats (in June)with no covers saying the covers will be delivered in the beginning of July. When the date came and went, I called and they said they are now on back order and to wait another couple weeks. I waited ..nothing..so I call back and am told that the order was canceled because they don’t have them in stock. But I could order more in a different color, but they are over 100$ more each. After spending hours on the phone, a rep said he would give me a 140$ gift card to cover the difference. I still haven’t received the gift card from over a week ago. I call today and they have no record of the convo and are refusing to issue the gift card. On top of that, they never issued the refund for the order they canceled. Now we have two love seats and no covers. They said we could send the love seats back but they won’t pick them up and refund me until after COVID....I spoke with a supervisor, and she couldn’t help me. And said there is no one else I can talk to.

I placed an order for the opening of our new office on June 6,2020 with delivery scheduled for July 2,2020. Later I received an email on June 16 that the order was being 'picked' with delivery now scheduled for August 13,2020. Impossible to get any updates and when I placed order # in system it indicated that it didn't exist. They must have a better system to inform customers.
