If there was a zero satisfaction option, I’d have chosen that. I paid 169$ for delivery for items ordered online, and asked for a call before the driver arrived. No call: and I get an email advising of a failed delivery. I call customer service - customer service is also the complaints and escalation department - the person tells me (after nearly 30 minutes total hold time) that there is no delivery time available for another 20 days. I would have to pay 40$/week storage after the first week until the item is delivered meaning I would have to stay home all day since they aren’t reliable about calling ahead as promised . I can’t change my order to pick-up because I asked for delivery (not pick-up) when I ordered online, and once the items are paid for, no changes allowed. I can cancel the order and get a refund, but will not be refunded for the delivery charge. It’s the worst customer service I’ve ever ever experienced. I’ve never shopped at Ikea before and wouldn’t shop there again.

The least reliable delivery! Ordered table online on Monday and been informed the delivery between 8am-20pm on Wednesday. Waited on Wednesday, Thursdays and Friday nothing arrived. Made several calls and after long waiting time nobody answered calls. Sent email without reply. Sent message on their Facebook then got reply "Our parcel service provides estimated delivery dates, they are not guaranteed. If you have not received the order by the end of the next business week please let us know and we will look into it for you." Totally disappointed!!!

If I could have given 0 stars I would have. I ordered several items in February. After 2 1/2 months the items came, minus one item. After trying to get through on their phone and chat lines for hours, I finally got through. The customer service rep promised to expedite the item. Well, almost 6 MONTHS LATER - I received an e-mail that it was shipped at the beginning of the week- what a crock!! I have viewed the Fedex site for shipping info and guess what! IT STILL HAS NOT BEEN SHIPPED. Ikea only wrote up a shipping label. I will NEVER order from Ikea again. I do NOT recommend Ikea.

Have spent a month trying to get a hold of someone at IKEA to get missing and damaged items replaced from an online order. They have disconnected emails for communication unless you are cancelling an order, their customer service number has a message stating they cannot take your call. I have called their US corporate office, I have emailed their world headquarters, and still no response. I will never spend another dime with this company. I will not even write about the horrible service from their delivery company. We have been loyal customer of IKEA until now...done. I consider them a thief since I cannot get items I have paid for!

Waited patiently for 2 1/2 months for a few shelves. Was not given any tracking information. Arrived unexpectedly and had to go to the post office to pick up the parcels. They were completely destroyed by the time they got to the post office outlet. They had been packed with NO padding and extremely poorly (just thrown in, heavy on top of breakable, too much extra space with no packing) so that the boxes broke down, the tape was ripping, and there were gaping holes all over the boxes. I am shocked there was no missing hardware! However, the metal rods meant to support two of the shelves were all snapped in half and thrown into one of the other boxes. Have not been able to get in touch with customer service as phone is busy, chat is busy, and e-mail communications are suspended. Extremely disappointed, especially as a past fan of Ikea store offerings. Will not be recommending and will be telling anyone who will listen about this horrible experience and complete lack of care! Ikea- you should be making this right!

Placed an order on June 26, 2020. Purchase price and delivery fee of $99 was withdrawn from my bank the same day. Ikea scheduled my delivery date for July 28, 2020 between 9am and 9pm. Within this whole month, we never received an email or a call that it would late. I called customer service and they dropped the call twice after 2 rings. My husband and I were at home the entire day waiting for the delivery. They NEVER showed. I wake up the next day and they send an email at 8:15 am that our order has been cancelled. Total waste of a day. Now we wait 2 weeks to get a refund. It should be same day refund. When you send a cancellation email after a delivery date, our refund should show up in the account as well. If there were negative stars to give, I would. This was our first encounter with this store and their online ordering, absolutely horrible. Thanks for nothing.

we are still waiting for a base unit that was not delivered to us and this is now over a month ago. IKEA you will already be aware of this as my builders spoke to you and were asked to contact DPD themselves to find where the missing parcel was. We received a notification that the missing item would be delivered to Go Outdoor (parcel number 15500806953984 Urban Exchange) on the 14th July. It was not there when we arrived to collect it and we went again today to check. We have been 3 times now! What a waste of time as it WAS NEVER DELIVERED!!. We ordered and PAID for all goods from you on the 3rd July and our cafe was to be opened on the 8th July or shortly thereafter! It remains closed as our kitchen is yet to have a missing part delivered and then it needs to be built. We have since on the 24th bought the missing item again so we would like a refund for the item that WAS NEVER DELIVERED!! I have send numerous emails to you without a reply and I am currently in a queue trying to speak to someone (28th July) and I've been on hold for over 45 minutes... I really do not want anymore time wasted on this and I would be happy for this to receive priority since we have wasted time, resources and petrol, running about trying to rectify your error. BUT I WILL NEVER EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM YOU AGAIN!!

We bought the plexyglass Tobias chairs. They look great - but 2 of them broke backwards when we were sitting straight, leaning with our backs against the back part. We are not overweight 180 and 130 pounds. Very dangerous. My husband hurt his hamstrings with a deep cut by falling backwards and slicing up his skin from the broken seat part of the chair. I tried to contact Ikea in April - it was not possible to send an email with our photo of the broken chair. I tried to call - they did not take any phone calls because of Corona. We drove to Sunrise Ikea in Florida in June - the line was standing outside in 105 F around the building. No, we did not return the two broken chairs and we did not get our money back. We just gave up. Very disappointing!

It was my mistake, I didn't search for IKEA online order performance. I order furnitures in June and it was supposed to deliver on 20th July. As there was no call or email on my order status, I called their customer service, one of the worst I ever had, they have no clue on new delivery date and don't have a number of the shipper for me to follow up. They keep on switching the calls and finally just dropped off to my face. Never expected such a disguisting attitude from a reputed company. If anybody has got the address to escalate this matter to corporate level, please share.

Crock of &^$$ company. Worst customer service on the entire planet. As of today--no options for questions pre/post order, chat, email, phone anywhere inter friggin' US. Insulting, disgusting.

I had an amazing experience at Customer Services recently at Leeds IKEA. The two members of staff who dealt with me couldn’t have been more helpful and considerate. They were Beatrix and Gregg. I don’t need to detail what I needed as it’s not relevant. But my thanks go to these staff members for helping me in such difficult times for all. Thanks.

Ordered an item and had to reschedule a delivery time. Between calling them and using their barely functional chat feature on their website, I had been transferred several times, disconnected, you name it. They have my money and my purchase and there's literally nothing I can do.

My daughter ordered a sofa in June and was told it would be delivered July 20. She received notification several times on the 19th stating the time frame for delivery on the 20th. Well on July 20th she waited and no one showed...they cancelled her delivery and didn't tell her. After many hours waiting on hold between Ikea and the delivery company she is now told it will be Aug 5. This is the worst company ever. I don't understand how they can continue to be in business.

Our order was missed on July 19th due to miscommunication with the driver.  We were home waiting on the delivery. I called NAL and IKEA and rescheduled it for July 22.  I received an email today that I need to schedule it again with dates July 24, 25, 26, 27 and 28.  I called to state it had already been scheduled for July 22, Tuesday, and was told it had not been and that date was not available.  I was also told that none of the above mentioned dates were available after I had just received the email one minute ago.  I was told the earliest date was August 3. This is totally ridiculous. I spent a very long time on hold yesterday to schedule this delivery and was told by both NAL and IKEA that this date was available and my delivery had been scheduled.  The person, I talked to, Brittany, was very condescending and not the least bit helpful in why this mix up has hapenned.  Just to state "we are a very busy company".  This is very poor customer service.   Why would I be told my delivery was scheduled for July 22 by two people only to receive an email to schedule it for the above dates to only be told by Brittany that those dates were not available either????????One very unhappy customer!

Ordered a couch in June. Estimated delivery was 7/6. Apparently it was moved to 7/18. Today my delivery status on IKEA says it will be delivered 7/18, which was yesterday. How can you deliver something yesterday, so the IKEA order status page is garbage. Call IKEA yesterday and was hung up on about 12 times because "they have too many calls to take my call" and redirected me to their webpage to email them, which says due to COV-ID, they will not respond to any emails except order cancellations. I finally got through to someone who told me that it was a technical error and that I would need to be put through to After Purchase Care (problem resolution) which after another half an hour on hold, I was hung up on. Today I actually managed to reach problem resolution after 110 minutes on hold only to be told my couch had left their warehouse and had not arrived at my shipper. They had no idea where it was and when I would get it. They offered me a phone number to call to complain. It was the number I just called! It was my first and last IKEA purchase. I will never use them again. IKEA does not even deserve one star.

i ordered sofa 2.5 months ago and its still not fully delivered twice delivery arrived half and when asked for return as they can provide full sofa and items keep missing, Customer service started telling same lame stories about there policies etc they cant hold their side of bargain but they wanna tell you what we have to abide by(as half assembled sofa is gonna do any good for me and i cant even return) , they dont even deserve that one star but its worse company ever to buy anything from , i dont have financial means to sue them in court but this company is absolutely disgrace .

Really disappointed with their delivery/ online service. Bought my merchandise in the middle of June. Waited at home all day for them to deliver on July 13th, no delivery truck, no notification, and no call from IKEA. Apparently, they changed my delivery date to 8/4 without properly notifying me. When you call they have an autobot that picks up and hangs up on you. Poor service.

I've been trying to get in touch with ikea for days because I made a purchase two months ago and never received it. Today I managed to talk to an attendant, he made me wait 57 minutes and I could clearly hear him playing video games during the service. He didn't answer anymore even after I had passed the order number and I still don't have my problems solved. They could at least cancel the order instead of making me wait almost an hour for someone to play video games.
