Ordered items online , was told it wouldn't be delivered by courier as van broke down , have never been contacted by either IKEA or courier to re arrange , then when i managed to get through to someone after 3 days of trying and holding for an hour an idiot told me it would be another week , i asked for the parcel to be expressed he said we are a big company we do not express delivery , having used the couriers myself for business i know they can , its unacceptable that large organisations think they can treat customers like they are doing them a favor supplying products , when smaller company get slapped with late delivery charges left and right

Ordered a bed frame and mattress in store on Saturday. The said they would deliver on Tuesday which they did. The consignment note checked out as it should but we should of check our receipt as the never delivered all the items which we only found out after assembling the bed frame. We call customer service number held for over and hour. We told them we had not received all our items the offer and £15 gift card and said the would deliver the missing boxes in a weeks time. That's all great but we had already disposed of the old bed and mattress. They did not care and said the best they can do is in weeks time. It took 2 days for it to arrive but yet and takes them a week to deliver an item they did not pick in the first place. You would think IKEA would care about their brand name. I will never use them again. They have zero customer service they don't even have a complaints department as every member of the team is capable of dealing with complaints apparently. You have been warned.

WORST DELIVERY SERVICE. They specify that your purchase will be deliver a certain date and time and THEY NEVER ARRIVE. I’ve been waiting ALL week for my furniture. I’ve been in hold with the company for 2 HOURS FOR NOTHING. Kevin Cameron “delivery manager” gives FALSE information and don’t even send you a confirmation receipt. They say they will arrive AND NEVER DELIVER THE FURNITURE. I spent more than a $1,000 in IKEA and payed EXTRA for a delivery and installation fee and I HAVEN’T seen my furniture. DON’T PAY DELIVERY, THE WORST DECISION YOU CAN MAKE

PLATSA combination lets you choose handles, however the furniture comes with no pre-drilled holes (even though it states NO TOOLS required for assembly). When the holes are drilled, the furniture surface breaks. Also, the drawers fall apart weekly. NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE furniture, can't be used even in a child's bedroom. Customer Services don't have a complaints procedure, only automated computer responses on web chat, which simply writes the extracts from the website information. In order to return a FAULTY item, suggested to drive to the store and arrange a pick up for a fee. Absolutely appalling! POOR QUALITY, POOR SERVICE.

I am so disppointed about my recent experience of Ikea online order. I ordered one bed and another storage cubics. Also I ordered the delivery service. One and half week after I ordered, the items were delivered. On the delivery day, I spent four hours waiting for the delivery and the delivery ended up missing one slat of the bed. I can't use the bed. The deliver staff is nice and kind. He told me the missed item will be delivered later and I also can call the store. But I can't find any phone number on the online order and whom I shall call. The deliver happened at Saturday, and till this Monday, nobody from the store or delivery service office called me. I am so headache about how I can find the missed piece? If there were less than one star, I would like to give Ikea.

They made my daughter and me extremely unhappy. They did not deliver when they should and tried to deliver when told not to and eventually put the item to Parcel Force who charged my daughter again. Shame on Ikea!!

The pieces came broken and when we called them about it they left us on hold for an hour. I am so pissed im never getting anything from them again

Your delivery service is disgusting and non existent. Twice you should have delivered my items and twice you did not. Then after spending a hour trying to get through to customer service I was told you could deliver Wednesday the following week. So you want me to have 3 days off work. You won't deliver for free and your not willing to compensate me for loss of earnings. Unless. Don't use ikea delivery service as they don't do delivery

For my recent purchase of $1,768.39, I contacted your after-sale department by phone at least 4 times for two issues. Each time, I was put on hold for 45 minutes to more than an hour for even a simple question or update inquiry. This is totally unacceptable. What a waste of time. The long wait is regardless of the time when I called, be that in the morning, the afternoon or the evening. Ikea is taking their cuatomers for granted when they put their customers on the long wait all the time for after-sales issues. It seems that Ikea is playing a dirty trick to discourage their customers from contacting them after the sale is closed with the long wait. If Ikea doesn't want their customers to bother them with any issues after the item is sold, don't pretend to have a generous after-sales swrvices or return policy. This is nothing but a marketing trick.

I would give it zero stars if I could, only because IKEA use PARCELFORCE for delivery. This company should not be in business and its by far the most appalling customer experience I've had. IKEA should switch providers if they don't want to lose their own customers!

Lots of details, but in a nutshell we ordered an item online, that was never delivered. After checking, and calling IKEA customer support probably 20 times (every time the line was busy, or after listening to 5 different prompts they said "we have a high caller volume, we cannot help you at this time, goodbye" and they hung up. After finally getting thru, they put me on hold, then several minutes later I got the "we're too busy, goodbye" message. Tried off/on for 2 more days to get thru to a person, and finally did. They said "it looks like your item got lost in shipping" so we will restart the whole process over... Now it's been several more days, we got NO email confirmation of the issue, and are trying (again) to track the shipment. Again, can't get thru to customer support, and when finally did chose the option to track an order, and again the system said "we're too busy, goodbye". IKEA customer service gets an F-minus.

Unbelievable !‼ I bought an office desk from Ikea website (order number 306900564) on 8/22 with estimate delivery on 9/3. Not receiving it as planned, I contacted Ikea several times and, finally, I was informed that my package would be delivered on 9/26. On 9/25 I got a call to confirm the delivered time. Since the package was NOT delivered, I contacted The Delivery Company again and the attendant told me that the driver truck was sick, they don't have anyone available to deliver the package and there isn't an estimated date to be delivered. It was my last attempt to receive my product. I am contacting my credit card company to refund the supposed purchase. IKEA NEVER AGAIN !

they don't deserve even 1 star. IF YOU ARE READING THIS AN ORDERING THAT MEANS YOU ARE DOING A MISTAKE. PLEASE DONT ORDER FROM IKEA Ordered a bed for my elderly mother, they delivery guy called that they are downstairs, if we have paid to be delivered on the door what is the point of calling however we went downstairs but there was no one. 4 people went at 4 side on the building but there was no one. Called customer service that my mother had an operation and if the can arrange for delivery for tomorrow. The next delivery date we have is next month. VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Order 308925766 relates to order 299426653 and associated cases, which together comprise by far the worst shopping experience I've had. EVERY step of the way has had issues, from ongoing delayed deliveries, missing items, lack of updates from IKEA on delays and missing items, difficulty in reaching customer service to enquire on said delays/items, inability of staff to properly follow through with pick-ups/refunds therefore resulting in delayed pick-ups and refunds, missing parts or parts that were not finished being cut, etc. Like others, I have had to waste hours, days and much energy waiting for deliveries that never showed up, putting aside tasks I could have completed had the schedule been adhered to or updates on a modified schedule at least been provided to me. I am overdue compensation for this trouble. Like others, I'll be justifiably reporting IKEA to the BBB and FTC and publishing bad reviews wherever I can. The first and last time I'll be shopping at IKEA. And I hope IKEA soon gets what it deserves: to be shut down.

Worst customer service ever on Friday. Ordered furniture 34 August for delivery Friday between 9&1pm. No show & no communication from IKEA. At 2pm them-47 mins holding. Response? Sorry its not coming!!!!

I ordered online bed and couch for my elderly mother in Germany. Delivery was supposed to be in a couple of weeks. On the delivery day we remove old furnitura in preparation to fit new one in (one bedroom apartment only). We waited all day but delivery never come. No call and no emails. Two minute before midnight email come stating they had system failure and they rescheduled delivery in 7 days. Next few days we try to call multiple time but could not get through apparently because they are experiencing bigger than average calls. My 78 year mother was sleeping on cold floor for seven day. As per new delivery date Furniture was supposed to arrive today BUT guess what still nothing. Only this time they send SMS to said they have no truck to deliver. Delivery was rescheduled once again in next few days. I lost any hope but don't know what to do. They already took money from my credit card. Can just imagine how long would take to get my money recover. I done some research and find out this is not just in one country but IKEA service is terrible accros the word. They are horrible. Try calling them to see if they answer... They won't and you can't leave a message. They are thieves. Please stay away far from them. Worst service ever. We still waiting for our deliver to come through till mother still sleeping on floor. Shame on your IKEA!

Possibly the worst customer service ever received 1. Bed delivered broken. No contact from Ikea. Gift voucher promised- never received. 2. Light delivered without parts. 3. Light re delivered to WRONG ADDRESS even though I told you 3 times it was wrong.
