I purchased a cabinet from ikea Tampa store (An hour’s drive) It was a Regissor cabinet and I had to take the item number to a service desk to have an employee pull the boxes. The Employee pulled the wrong boxes I wish I had been allowed to pull them from the shelf myself. Instead I have had to call customer service number 10 times to try to get this corrected. I have been given 3 different cases numbers One marked resolved when nobody did anything. Then when I followed up I got missing hardware but no cabinet sides or shelves. The 2nd case number the customer service rep figured out the weight and dimensions of the box I was missing and sent a request to the Tampa store to have the missing box shipped to me. I received nothing. When I called to follow up they had no such case # on record.POOF. Case #3 the representative sent another request to the Tampa store giving the weight and dimensions of the box to be sent and said someone would contact me from the Tampa store and I also requested a call from a customer service manager. I received no follow up whatsoever. I called customer service today and was lied to and told that the box was on the way and even given a dhl tracking number that was generated “yesterday” When I plugged the number into the dhl site it was for the parts that were delivered back in November. I called again. The customer service rep couldn’t make sense of the notes that were written re my 11:30 a.m. call. Hmm was the person who told me my box was on the way on drugs ? Illiterate? Or just bsing everything. This company has the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IN THE HISTORY OF HUMAN COMMERCE!!! I was told by another customer service rep this evening that my case was moved forward After pressing for the exact meaning of “moved forward”, I was able to ascertain that an electronic communication was sent to the Tampa store requesting that the correct box be sent to me. After explaining to the rep that this had already been done several times to no avail he called the store manager and relayed to me that the resolution department at the Tampa store would call me tomorrow to get it resolved. Tomorrow being Saturday I’m not holding my breath.

I will NEVER buy online from IKEA again!!!! I have lost complete faith in the home delivery service. I made an order on 17/10/21, delivery was meant to be on 14/11/21. A week before delivery was due I had an email to say the delivery date would be changed due to no stock of the daybed and mattresses I ordered, delivery date was changed to the 2/12/21. Fine, I understand this happens. However, when I checked stock, the items were in stock in many IKEAS across the U.K. On the 1/12/22 I rang IKEA as I hadn’t received my text re the 4 hour time slot and I was told the items would definitely be delivered between 9am-1pm on the 2/12/21. Great I thought. At 4.30pm on the 1/12/21 I had an email with a new order sheet saying delivery would be on the 5/12/21. Completely confused I rang IKEA once again. Where it was confirmed that due to no stock in the Reading hub (where it was being delivered from) it would now be coming from Milton Keynes as they have stock arriving on Saturday. I was told to call IKEA after 7pm on the 4/12/21 to check it can be delivered as there is still a chance stock may change. I paid for my items back in October, over £300 worth. Surely when stock arrives in the stores those who have purchased online should have their orders put aside. I have been completely messed around, had to change my plans for a 3rd time and there’s no telling if I will actually receive my items on the 5/12/21. Shocking customer service and I certainly won’t be ordering again!!!

IKEA You are a disgrace! You are incompetent. You advertise out of stock items, you do not advice waiting customers whom have asked for notifications of item(s) back in stock. You change delivery times without notifications. Most of your furniture is out of stock in The Havsta range, and you give no indication of when back in stock, just a pile of repetitive excuses. Get your act together as there are many other competitors out there!

Where do I start?!?! Customer service is terrible, transferred, disconnected, no answer, employees have no knowledge of products. Manager was suppose to call me back, never did. Cabinets out of stock and no idea if or when they will be in stock, Website planner is terrible, paid $360 for delivery and cabinet missing from the order. Have spent several hours on the phone and computer dealing with IKEA, absolutely miserable experience!!

The RANNILEN water trap was/IS VERY DIFFICULT to work with. We have 2 IKEA Vanities, 2 IKEA sinks with 2 IKEA Rannilen P traps, 1 IKEA faucet and 1 faucet of another brand. We are still trying to get them BOTH to stop leaking. Components do not seem to match up. AND DO NOT think about interchanging a different faucet of another brand. They Don't work with IKEA items. VERY DISAPPOINTED.

A huge disappointment. We ordered 35 items (700 kg of furniture!), All of which were written to be on stock. First they changed our delivery address and that we should pick up our items from their shop, then said that they will deliver the furniture on the address that we wrote in the order, and then out of nowhere they canceled our order without explanation, without offering us an alternative, only with sentence that they will return us the money in 2 weeks (and they could take it immediately!). 2 weeks have passed, yesterday I checked in the bank, there is no transfer from them. Incredibly unprofessional attitude, especially for a company with a mission "to create a better everyday life for many people" and a company in which as a customer I always felt taken care of.

Terrible customer service. They don’t give you refund all they do just tell you wait wait wait. NEVER NEVER SHOP with Ikea online. The worst delivery service. Paid $70 for delivery and ended up still need to travel 1 hours to pick up the hardwares they missed to sent!!!!! Wasted my 1 month time. If you wanna sleep on floor for a whole month plz shop them.

Awful service. Paid $1760 for furniture only to receive an email they’re out of stock. On the phone for 55 minutes with someone working from home abs a child crying!! Don’t buy anything with them! They blame it on covid

They do not honor their return policy. I tried to return an item I purchased 3 weeks ago in unused new condition, with a receipt. I had taken off the price tag. They refused to refund my money because they consider a removed price tag a "modification" of their product. What?!! Are you kidding me?!! The manager and employees, if they searched their soul, know that they were doing the wrong thing. However, they all chose to try to get an extra $55 out of a loyal, now former, customer. It is this shortsightedness that will limit their careers and their company's success. Trying to steal from people is never good business in the long run.

Two so-called delivery days have been and gone. The helpline is never answered - on hold three times for one hour, 50 mins and 40 mins. No pickup. They do not respond to emails. Track your delivery is a joke - still says it on schedule for YESTERDAY! Took my $4K very quickly and easily - same can’t be said for anything after that. DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR AND AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!! Cannot fill in below delivery questions as still waiting.

Ordered and paid June 11 For delivery July 19 July 19 comes and I get 1 of 40 items. Delivery promised the end of July August comes and here is my delivery They sent 30% of the order When called( 1 hr on hold) Sent me a couch cover…..no couch?!? Order comes August 10 No order show Call again. Waiting on hold We don’t ship back orders You receive a credit For what items I ask, they never include your packing list Finally after months of on hold calls they issued a credit. No list of items to check against or delivery fees Had to accept THEIR credit or nothing at all. They had my money for 3-4 months. They shipped about 30%. They never provided records of anything shipped. I finally got a credit but don’t know for what. They really suck. Badly And task rabbit their building service showed up. Asked for 8:30 arrival. Showed at 9:15. The kid stunk of who knows what. He did a poor job on my couch not completely right. Stools I had to coach him on. I’m a handicapped man. A stroke. One arm paralyzed. One leg slow. Absolutely the worst shopping experience I have ever had.

Do NOT order for a delivery from IKEA unless you have a lot of time to waste. I placed a online order on the 19th September, paid the £40 delivery charge and it said it would be delivered the next day! Great I thought.... The next day came, no delivery. I called and they apologized and said they would reschedule the delivery for Thursday 23rd. Again waited no delivery, called promised it Saturday and again no delivery. You get the pattern. 8 delivery dates I was given in the end and 4 HOURS on the phone and was told blankly that at one point their colleague had lied to me. I was then promised it would be delivered Sunday 26th, that the items were in the delivery hub waiting to be delivered and low and behold it never arrived. I called and requested a refund on the Sunday, waited 7 days no refund. Had to call again 11th October! The refund hadn't been processed by their system! I asked why and they couldn't tell me. I'm not sure who's running it but it's an absolute circus!

This is my VERY FIRST & LAST time purchasing anything from IKEA. I purchased a glass cylinder vase from IKEA & it arrived to my home TOTALLY SHATTERED. How STUPID, LAZY & IRRESPONSIBLE is it to pack a GLASS VASE with absolutely no stickers, no stamp, no writing, NO NOTHING, to indicate the contents of the delivery box are FRAGILE, and to pack a GLASS VASE with only ONE PIECE OF SHRIBBLED UP BROWN PAPER & no protective material INSIDE the box whatsoever to protect the vase from damage while being handled & while in transit. I will definitely be requesting a refund & will never EVER purchase anything from IKEA again.

Poor Service, Inadequate Communication & Unethical business tactics. Worked with kitchen planners in early August. Partial installation took place September 27th-30th. One wall cabinet was missing. All is resolved on 10.3. NOW Ikea is quoting a 11.3 -5 appointment to finish the job. What is unethical is that they withdrew the balance of the payment on 9.30!!!! How is that fair/ethical even possible? I will NEVER order kitchen cabinets from Ikea again and will warn all not to do so as well. The right hand doesn't know what the left is doing and you are left out in the cold /trying to do it yourself. Installation, not including cabinet costs was $2.1K - this is exorbitant considering that it was 2 wall and 4 base cabinets at those prices one should receive better service. Very Very frustrated and Disappointed. NEVER AGAIN

The Kansas City IKEA is horrible. It’s a maze! Once you get inside the only way out if you don’t buy anything, is thru an emergency exit with a sign on it that says no exit alarm will sound. Beware

We bought an IKEA Hemnes Guest bed. It is the third one I assemble including one in my house in Spain, one for my sister, and this one. This last one has come with the problem that, once assembled, only four of the eight wheels touch the floor. This makes the trundle bed be in a higher position and impossible to slide it inside the main structure, unless lifting the whole thing so it won’t touch the floor either. We are so afraid the bed will break that our daughter is sleeping in the floor until the problem is sorted. After three weeks, IKEA hasn’t contacted me back, despite several promises and an email they asked me to send with pictures and explaining the whole problem. I have to call them everyday and they promise they will contact back. It never happened. They verbally admitted that it should be a faulty item, but they only offer me as a solution me to un assemble the bed so they will collect it, and then they would deliver a new one that I have to assemble again. No guarantee that the new one won’t come with the same problem. They don’t take any responsibility for the lack of response, for m selling a faulty item, or bringing a better solution that doesn’t imply throwing away a new bed (very environmentally friendly and sustainable!) They even asked me to pay for someone to assemble it, but they won’t pay that cost!!! I bought one of the most expensive items in IKEA and this is how they treat their customers. Shame of you IKEA. I will make huge efforts to let everybody know what kind of customer service you provide, and how unreliable you are. Nowadays you have many competitors that for the same price they provide a better product and service. Have spend almost £400 in a faulty product that puts my daughter at risk, so she has been sleeping on the floor for more than three weeks, and they don’t provide any help nor take any responsibility.
