I ordered a light from interior addict on 18 January and was given a shipping date of 30th January . One week later I received an e mail from their customer service dept saying they had made a mistake and did not have the item in stock. They said that re ordering from their supplier would take approximately 16 weeks. Multiple attempts to cancel the order and request a refund have received no e mail response. I have tried many times to ring the number given for customer services and am generally told all the lines are busy. On the couple of occasions I have got through the phone is immediately disconnected. I advise any potential customer to be aware of the sharp practise of this company...they have a significant amount of my money and I cannot get through to them.

Pity we cannot give zero stars for this experience. Ordred seven items back on 4th October, only to be ten days later, after numerous e-mails and phone calls with no reply, that things will be delivered in January. One item arrived in November, another one yesterday, alas significantly damaged in transport. Again no reply from Interior Addict so four months later, having paid for everything back in October, we still sit and wait and hope someone will get in touch and tell us what is going on. Bad service, bad attitude, relatively good products at a good price, but overall an experience that should be missed if at all possible.

This company doesn't stop to surprise me for the worst customer service experience. I have eventually asked for a refund for one of the items I am now waiting for over 9 months and I am now waiting for over 20 days to receive the payment back in my account. It happens their store is close by my office and I went there to check it out. It is such a pity as some of the items are nice. But the sales assistant told me they were giving away two cushions for free if I was willing to post a review on TrustPilot .... I think I will report them to the consumer association.

Dealing with this company has been a negative experience from the start, and I still haven't received my order. My order was made in August, and would be delivered at the start of November. The first thing that went wrong was that the payment was taken out twice due to a glitch in their website. I thought that this was unprofessional, but luckily at that time they did respond and refunded the money in a few days. My later experience of trying to contact them has been horrible. In October I received a message that the order was in customs, ready to be dispatch once released, but nothing came. I contacted them at least 4 times in November, without any reply. Both calling them and emailing has been unsuccessful. All I want is clarity about the delivery date, I don't mind a delay, but I do mind being left not knowing what is going on. Another thing that really concerns me about this company is that they have been leaving fake reviews on a lot of sites, and getting reviews removed from trustpilot. If they spent that time on customer service, we wouldn't be leaving negative reviews in the first place.

This company is horrible to deal with. I am writing a review here because Interior Addict spent all their time getting reviews removed from other review sites, instead of preventing them from happening in the first place. My order from Interior Addict was placed on August and would be delivered by the end of October. However, it is December now and it still hasn't arrived. I don't really mind the waiting, but I do mind the lack of information. They do not reply to any messages or phone calls. I have no idea when the order will arrive. In October I received one message saying that it was in customs waiting to be delivered, but I assume that this was just a way to keep my hopes up. Another problem I experienced was a glitch in their website, which caused me to pay twice. They did actually answer a message about this payment problem and refunded the money, but I did think this was quite a negative experience with using their new website, luckily I checked my account.

It's the 4th order I have placed with IA and will probably be the last one. Every order had some trouble. First order (a Nelson floor lamp) arrived after 3 months, the quality of the lamp was very poor, it was ripped and badly glued. I raised a claim (it took me 2 weeks because email customer service is also poor) a second one was ordered, it arrived to the warehouse after a long wait and IA customer service told me they were not going to send it to me because the thought the quality wasn't good. They have ordered a third one which should have been arrived already 6 weeks ago but I'm still waiting, now since February, 9 months. Second order (a PH ceiling light) arrived relatively quickly but a metal piece was missing from the box. I raised a claim again and miraculously received a replacement after a while. Third order (several small items, expresso cups, cushions,  kitchen items) arrived scattered in 3 deliveries (there is no notification by the way, when an order arrives at the warehouse after an unspecified number of days your doorbell rings and you may be lucky to be at home). When I rounded up all the items I discovered one cup was missing, I have raised a claim and after a week IA customer service told me the colour I ordered isn't available so I changed it. I have received the missing cup only after I tried to post this review on TrustPilot (but they apparently managed to block it), a customer agent called me and started to deal with my claim. Last order is a stool and a Nelson ceiling light, I have placed it early July. In late September while I was dealing with all the open claims I asked if it was progressing fine. The customer service rep (still the same) was going to check. But no response after a couple of weeks. I have now discovered  my items have been re-ordered, it seems my order didn't get processed. Delivery date will be 26 Dec, let's see if I get a Xmas gift. One of the items I have ordered is in stock on their website. In summary I am not sure what works at IA, customer services takes weeks to deal with an issue, delivery is extremely long (it seems they are shipping from the moon), they always mess up something in the shipment, the quality of some of the items is not great (it does look like it's very poor chinese manufacturing). Probably just the website works, it all look nice and easy to order. It seems also they are posting fake reviews, it is very evident from the ratings, many are 1 star and then there are a few enthusiastic 5 stars.

The company has started the posting fake reviews even here (not just on Trustpilot) - see the fake one from "Diana". I think this will need to be reported to consumer associations.

I agree with other posts. A chair was ordered and paid for in August. Delivery was due in November and I received no contact from the company. After numerous attempts as email address and phone numbers had changed, finally got a polite, apologetic email stating delivery would now be in January. Six months for delivery is appalling, where are they sourcing the products?

Ordered a chaise longue on the website and paid. Told 2 weeks later that it was not available. It was still on the website. It was still being advertised. Asked for a refund. Refunded over a week later and will not get the money (over £750) for up to 14 days further. Company is still advertising the unavailable furniture. Absolute disgrace. To make matters worse, I was called by a customer rep minutes after this review who threatened to report me for an inaccurate review as the product was not 'unavailable' but had been withdrawn by the manufacturer. When I told the rep that as of 18 November, the product was still listed on their website and could be purchased, despite being told that it was not available as of 3 November, the rep told me that it was an error. I have never had a company call me in this way and pressure me into removing a review so as to maintain a false image of their company on trust pilot.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE - don't use this company. I have ordered a ceiling lamp this summer with a delivery date on 23rd August, paying the entire amount. Needless to say, the item hasn't arrived in time and nobody has contacted me to inform me of the delay. I have therefore started contacting the customer service via phone and via email, but 99% of the times nobody has picked up the phone or replied to my emails. Finally, a representative from the customer service has replied to me informing me that the item was going to be delivered with 1 month delay (in September) due to some serious logistical issues the company was facing. I have accepted to wait, but soon the 1-month delay has transformed into a 2-month delay and a 3-month delay, which I found out only later cause the custmer service representative had in the meantime left the company and I have since then been unable to get an update on the item. Nobody was able to tell me exactly where the item was, or to give me a reliable delivery estimate (mostly cause nobody picks up the phone when you call the customer service line). Exhausted and frustrated, I have written a review here and, only at that point, I have received a call from a customer service representative who started to apologise and explained that the company is currently struggling to keep up with their orders and are having serious organisational and logistical issues. Bottom line, the person who contacted me was once again unable to locate the item and therefore offered a full refund. I am still waiting to receive the item, and now it's expected to come in mid-December (4 months later!). Once again - beware of this company and think twice before placing an order despite the appealing discounts you can find on their website.

DON'T BUY FROM THEM - AVOID AT ALL COSTS MY NEXT STEP WILL BE AN OFFICIAL COMPLAINT TO THE CONSUMER OMBUDSMAN I'm not one to complain much, but when you order something on 09/06/2014 and on 15/11/2014 you still haven't received your items there is something seriously wrong, and I'm starting to complain now, so IA get ready or deliver. Only some of the products I ordered arrived a few months ago, the rest is nowhere to be seen. I have asked to be contacted by a manager and I have asked a date by which I will receive my order. But they keep ignoring my emails and requests, although they did take my money.... I'll write on each and every single website available to me in order to make them give me an answer. If you are reading this review my advice is, don't be tempted by the nice stuff they have. DON'T BUY.

I agree with all the previous posters. They are very sloppy and customer service is poor. I ordered a LC1 pony skin chair which was supposed to be in stock and dispatched right away but it took almost a month to arrive and when it did it was not the one we ordered. Rather than just arrange to send the right one, they ask you to fill out a form for defective goods. In the end it was not worth the grief and hassle to wait for them to pick up the wrong one and wait another set of weeks for a replacement. It seems they claim items are in stock but then let you down after they are ordered and paid for by updated that delivery will be 3 to 4 months once they have your hard earned money in their paws. The quality of their chairs seems generally good when they arrive but obviously reflects they are knock-offs made in China.

We ordered an item, it arrived (after many many weeks) and then we moved from the UK and asked for our VAT back. The company is refusing - even though the VAT isn't theirs to hold onto (it gets paid to the UK government). We want our VAT back - it's not an insignificant sum of money that rightly belongs to us (we have paid the VAT equivalent in the country we moved to). We will not be buying from this company again, and have recommended to all our London friends and family also not to do so. We are still asking for our VAT back. Be warned about getting money back from this company.

Hi, For all people who haven't decided yet to buy from from Interior Addict, I strongly recommend you to give it a second thought and not to be fooled by the nice website design and go read their reviews on the web before placing an order. This company has very poor costumer service and disrespect for customers. If you want to be ripped off by a scam business and spend hours of your precious time asking for refund then go for this crappy company. I ordered a side table with order number 110002083 on 2 September, the website says they have more than 10 in stock and can be dispatched in one week. After a week, I kept calling them but they didn't pick up the phone. After a day of trying they finally picked up the phone and a lady said, we advertise the item as "one week delivery" but the fact is "delivery takes 6 to 8 weeks but we dont mention that on website". Then I asked to cancel my order and she said I will receive an email confirming cancellation of my order right away. I didn't receive any email that day and then tried to call them again. This time it took me near 4 hours to be able to talk to an employee. When I mentioned my order number he said he doesn't see any cancellation on this order and I have to send an email asking for cancellation (just contrary to what the previous employee said). I sent an email asking for cancellation, then they replied it would take one month to process my refund. So basically they take out money from your account, they have no intentions to deliver the goods according to what they promise on website and they don't even refund your money and make you beg for your hard earned money to be refunded. this is my story with Interior Addict and if you still want to buy an item from this company, just call them and see if they ever pick up their customer service phone line or not and then decide. Happy shopping !
