Bought the Pink Sapphire Pendant online, it was on sale for 204. + change. When it came it wasn't even in a necklace box, just in a thin pouch & the chain was tangled. Should have taken pictures! That was unacceptable! Will never buy Jewelry from you people ever again! That...was not right! A Pendant costing that much should have been in a necklace box & not thrown in a paper thin pouch! People...I would be aware of buying any Jewelry from them! That was totally disgusting!!!

I went to you today to have a pair of earrings repair the stem broke . The clerk was very nasty and she kept telling me that the the person that could fix the earing was named James and he was in the mall and every place she sent me he was not there so I came back and I was mad and I told her I want these earrings fix and she said I work for jcpenny not these other company I don't know what was wrong with that women she was hasten or something she had an accent I was at the Florida Mall so any another clerk came she was very nice and took care of me but that other women I would fire her that lady is nasty had me going around that mall for someone name james I better not see her again

I have been a strong supporter of the White lake Jcp. Gave them a lot of my time and money through the years until now. I have been getting my hair cut and colored at the salon with Becky for over two years. I had to reschedule my apt due to a family hospital emergency. Because of this she dropped me from being a client. I find this very rude and un professional! I also would like to make it known that during the time I was a client of hers she has had to cancel on me and my husband several times last minute and not once was she on time. She was at least a half hour late or more every time. Because of this un professional employee of the salon, jcp lost my business, my husbands business and all my family and friends Business for sure.

I ordered a pair of black denim Alfred Dunner Pants from J. C. Penny's and it had a very strong smell, which I have not been able to get out. I have tried vinegar washes, numerous times. i am very disappointed that both J. C. Penny and Alfred Dunner, both well known names, would put such clothes on the market. Of course, they have been made overseas, and no telling what has been put in them. Delores Allen

My husband and I took his watch to this JCPenney in Aurora mall to get his watch crystal replaced, per their warranty. We spotted a diamond wedding band that was half price $800. I tried it on, and I loved it. We decided to go ahead and make payments for 6 months interest-free. After 2 months waiting for the watch repair and the ring to be sized, I did not receive a phone call that they were done. I drove an hour and a half from out east and requested the ring and the watch. They said they called the number, and it was disconnected. My cell phone number was right on the receipt. The ring was sitting there for a month and a half. Now they couldn't find the watch. I waited 20 minutes for the manager to come up and tell me the watch was not in. It had been 2 months, and she said it would be there within a couple more. I told her I did not live close and I would not be able to make the trip back for a couple of weeks. Irene, the store manager, pretty much started to blame me for not sending the watch directly to the warranty agency. I bought the warranty through JCPenney it should be their responsibility. She continuously argued with me. She never took responsibility for their mistake. I have an hour and a half drive to get the watch at Christmas and then another hour and a half back home. Don't ever shop at the JCPenney in Aurora mall and buy any jewelry. You will get screwed. I asked Irene for her boss's number, and she refused, go figure. She should not be a department store manager she has no people skills whatsoever. She never once accepted responsibility for their store. Don't waste your time and money. Just go to Macy's or Dillard's.

I bought two sweaters in October for winter. I live in Florida, so I didn't wear one until December. After my first wear there was fuss balls all over the sweater. I took it back to Pennys and the lady was very rude and I was told there was nothing they could do about it. Instead she tells me she bought a throw for her sofa and it sheds. She said do you think they would take it back? This was at the Orange Park Mall. I can see why penny's stores are closing. I will never shop there again. Even the manager was rude.

I made a Christmas order of two items. They shipped 12/14/24 in two different shipments. I received one at the promised 3-5 days and the other as of 12/21/24 was never received by the carrier from JCPenney. I reached out and the reps said it happens sometimes and that I would have to wait till 12/28/2024 to ask for a refund. They just did not care. I am never shopping JCPenney again.

JC Penny's Customer service is GARBAGE. They are very rude and after you purchase something with them and have a problem you with get the run around and no help .They are clueless!!! There was only one employee that was in the store that went out of her way and she even had problems with customer service.We finally after a week with them disputed the charge on our credit card and that worked.We never received our item and they made us feel like it was our fault.I Don't even want to give them one star but its the only way to review them. We will never buy online again or SHOP THERE STORE!!!!!

JCPenney has the worst customer service representatives talking there calls ever. From being spoken to disrespectfully, to being hung up on, the incompetence is unbearable. I will never order online again.

I know that I am just one simple individual in this universe but I pray that you have a kind heart and soul. I understand I am not God or someone with high power/abilities however attending school and reading books I learn more stuff as I grow in life. Allow me to get straight to the point with stating that I recently got hired to work in one of your many locations in the USA for JCPenney. My father is a doctor and mother is an attorney both in the military so growing up with values and old fashioned I understand that we must all treat everyone with respect and kindness. My only request is to remain anonymous due to what I’m about to let you know because I understand everyone has their own way of running things but there is some things I have noticed here at work that should be taken in consideration. For example there is an LOD that always hide in the back instead of being in the sales floor taking care of customers or assisting fellow staff. The LOD has favorite personnel because she allows few coworkers slack around or be on the phone talking or using work hours for personal use. Also there has been times that the LOD when cashiers or recovery team or anyone calls them thru the walky or page the LOD she ignores the call. I know there was a visit from the district manager of this store however I feel that if the district manager were to talk with us one on one and get our perspective perhaps you all can see what’s going on in this place. When store manager is around everything is going smoothly but when she leaves the LOD does things that are unprofessional or inappropriate. Another thing is she would be blasting songs that are non family friendly and her actions are driving customers away and making comrades at work feel unhappy. The one thing that I will have to say is that a fellow employee member overheard that the LOD said that as LOD she would tell someone that they should just stop to exist in this planet/world. Now I know many younger generations like myself say stuff randomly and sometimes things can be misinterpreted. Being the time of holidays my concern is that she shouldn’t say something like that because in this timeframe of the years many people could take that what is told to her or him and sometimes can cause depression or anxiety or can cause someone’s life to be affected. My essay is to say that please as a human person in this galaxy take a few minutes of your life to check on everyone and make sure everyone is safe and happy and healthy. Perhaps maybe JCPenney has a different way of running things at this location but there are things here that are at least to my knowledge not work compliance. I have noticed that the LOD she does behave intimidating to customers and associates to assure things are running her way not the JCPenney way. I applied here at JCPenney because I was told that it is a good experience but I think maybe this retail store department has a different type of good experience in their manual. I wish you a wonderful merry Christmas and new years I will pray that perhaps you will personally visit this store location even the CEO just to get your an insight understanding of what’s going on. I’m not asking for anything at all just looking out for every human being because at the end of time we are all people.

Absolutely terrible customer service. They sent the wrong item and would not issue a refund until the wrong item was returned. The item I ordered was pricey and the item I received not. I wanted a refund so I could reorder the item in time for Christmas. Customer service was rude and ended the conversation when I was still typing. I will never shop there ever again.

Not even worthy of 1 star!! Worse online shopping/ordering experience ever! Do not order online from JCPenney!!! Trust me when I say, you will be wasting your time and gas and won't get your item(s). After visiting the store several times to pick up the item, I was repeatedly told the ordered item was not in yet. The order said "in transit to store" for exactly 16 days. I called the 1800 # for online orders to see what was going on and was told that the order was cancelled because "it wasn't picked up." When I requested a refund for the order in my card, I was told they would send me a check. Employees are not very friendly or helpful! Save yourself the headache, time and money - shop elsewhere!!

I'm livid! I placed an order in time for Christmas. I checked over my order to make sure the billing address and shipping address was accurate. I placed my order waited a few days tracked to items and JCPenney was sending my items to my previous address. I called JCPenney who told me it was nothing they could do and for me to call UPS. I called UPS they said it was out of their hands I had to call JCPENNEY...complete run around. I was told they would intercept the order it didn't happen my package was delivered to the wrong address. I'm over it this is bad business. I can't even delete the old address in the system and customer service agent said they couldn't delete the old address I would have to do it... with no way to delete it. I'm done with JCPENNEY. Someone else is enjoying the gifts I will NOT be paying for their error.

Pickup order is horribl6e set up the area they what you to pickup up your purchase is poorly lighted, they want you to pick a parking spot 1 through 5 but none of the parking spots have number on then I tried to call to get help nobody answering the phone so I guess I will come inside the store witch defeats the purpose of pickup order. Smh

This place is absolutely ridiculous I ordered a pair of pants for my nephew for Christmas and they couldn't even deliver it to the right address terrible company I'm glad this place is closing you suck. You ruined a kids Christmas

I ordered 2 men’s shirts for Christmas on December 5th called customer service twice and their warehouse trying to get help. Still hung up in the warehouse it is now December 17th no help from anyone from Penney’s. Horrible customer service but give them a 5 after the conversation that is all they care about.

JCPenney has the WORST customer service! I placed an order and before paying, I double-checked that my address was correct (I deleted the other addresses in my account and set the one where I live now as the default). They sent my order to the address that is no longer on my account. They say that because I didn't check my email, nothing can be done and it's my fault, or that I should contact UPS.
