Ordered from JCPennney 2 weeks ago. Received 3 of the items & remainder were supposed to be here tomorrow. Arrival date changed to Friday instead of Wednesday. Just checked tracking & now they won’t be here until Saturday. They keep moving the date out with no option for canceling the order. I WILL NEVER SHOP OR ORDER FROM JCPENNEY AGAIN!!!

If there was a way to rate you less than a 1, I would. I placed an order of 9 items. Only one arrived; however, my bill arrived charging me for all the items I did not receive. Customer support and catalog were of no help and kept threatening me that I was being recorded. Too funny as I used no profane language, etc. All I wanted to do was cancel the order and end my shopping with JCP. They insisted I wait a ridiculous amount of time and then we could review it at that time. My husband worked at JCP for 44 years and me for 19 years., both with the highest rating at review time. I don't know who is training your associates at this time, but customer service is no longer a priority. This is definitely my last dealing with the company. I guess that losing customers no longer matters. The stock when I worked there was $80 a share. Today you are at $0.1819. Telling?

Yesterday, when I went to return an item that didn't fit, one of the employees made me very uncomfortable by saying she would close the doors to keep me out because I always come to return things. I told her, "How can you say that? I haven't been here this week, last week, or the week before!" It was so embarrassing and upsetting that I still feel bad about it. The employee was a large woman of African descent. The incident occurred on June 28, 2024, around 5 pm. She was working on the second floor with a young Hispanic man who handled my return of a pair of slacks.

Received my bill and was charged $1.99 for the privilege of paying my bill. Yes I could pay online but choose not to. I have been a customer since 1974, sorry to see this end if you charge this again.

Online ordering is completely unreliable. If you are able to place an order to ship to tye local store, your order may state "in transit" but then is not delivered to the store. This happened to me in the past for a pair of shoes I needed for a wedding. After 10 days and no delivery, I called the CS number and was told my order was cancelled by the warehouse! However the order still showed as " in transit to store". I recently placed an online order which was supposed to be delivered 2 days ago, still " in transit to store" . I have a feeling I will not get this order either.. Unfortunately these items are not in stock at the store but only on line. No wonder Penney's is in trouble!

Since November 2023 having a problem and still getting billed I n late charges. Spoke to Synchro my for jC Penny & said all charges were cancelleded & not to worry I am still getting billed from you. I returned a purchase & was double charged & getting bills for late charges. This is annoying & never had a situation like this with any other store. I am getting discussed with this situation. Someone speak to the bank & see that I have no outstanding chargers. I also cancelled by JC Penny credit card because of this situation. Will never shop in your store

My order was delivered damaged today. Now I'm expected to return it to the store and then order a replacement.

MY ITEM WAS PROMMISED FOR FRIDAY THE 15TH AND WAS OUT FOR DELIVERY THAT DATE, AT THE END OF THE DAY IT WAS NOT DELIVERED. TODAY IS MONDAY THE 17TH AND NOW IT SAYS THAT ITS ON ITS WAY. HOW CAN IT BE OUT FOR DELIVERY TWO DAYS AGO AND NOW IT SAY ITS ON ITS WAY. SOMETHING ITS NOT RIGHT. UPS OR JC PENNY ARE NOT DOING THERE JOB RIGHT.

I placed an online order on May 25th this is June 13th still not at the store said it was lost but can't issue me a refund until Fri June 15th and then it could take 7 to 10 business days to be in my account so a month basically I will never order anything from them again it as been a horrible experience and now I know why they are closing stores and filing backrept

I ordered online using discount and rewards coupons but surprise they canceled my order claiming that the coupons had already been used but that if I paid the fixed price they could do me the favor of reactivating the order which I understand as click bait to make the customer believe They gave you a discount and then they tell you we made a mistake but don't worry, pay what we asked you now and the merchandise is yours.

My brother went In for a perm and came out with a flat head. My brother never cry’s and in the salon the person was so dumb she couldn’t just term it. If I could give 0 stars I would. DON’T COME HERE FOR A HAIR CUT EVER UNLESS YOU WANT TO LOOK LIKE A LLAMA.

I placed an order for shirts for my son. He had moved to another state, I had placed a previous order from JC Penney to the new address, and thought it would default to the new address, but the order went to the old address in another state. All the representative would do is tell me to contact UPS or the new resident in the house. I have no clue who is currently renting, and I told the Penney's rep UPS can't go back to the house and demand the package back two days after it was delivered. No help! Order number 2024136613496453

Jc penney has the ruddest people you can barely understand at the customer service number they just hung up on me then I called back and was told just to wait for another 2 weeks for my package. He said he didn't care if I never shopped there again and I will not

I have entered my zip code 5 times to get the message I was sent byJCPenney Credit Card account confiming that I cancelled my account, and I always get "Invalid or Unknown Request". Well I know my own zip code and so does Penneys they have sent mechandice to this zip code for me so why doesn't it register when I put it in at their Synchrony company request. And of course you can never ever talk to a live person to find out. I guess I could if I wanted to spend the rest of this day or week tracking someone down. I give this company 2 thumbs down. No wonder I cancelled my account with them. They also decided they were going to charge their customers $1.99 for a written statement each month. What a Joke! They never send me monthly statement. I only get them when I've purchased something, and I think they owe me a statement and NOT at my expense.

I purchased 2 dress shirts for my son to try on for a wedding. Size medium and large. The medium was too small and I needed to exchange it for a larger size . Went back the following Sunday only to find out that I lost the receipt. They were able to find it based on my credit card information and still gave me grief about the return. After it was all said and done the women was totally rude the entire time to me talking down to me as if I couldn’t afford the shirts to begin with. She would not allow me to exchange it for a larger size and I had to leave before I said some unkind words . Let’s just say they lost my business from now on .

Returned damaged junk jewelry after their jeweler declared was not repairable then manager refused to credit my account and instead gave me a $193 JCP gift card. We also bought the lifetime warranty at $58 and this charge was not refunded as well!! This bracelet was bought at one of their big sales, Which is their way of getting rid of the junk they sell. After 40 years of being a JCP customer, I will NEVER give them more business!! Horrible customer service and employees are clueless! Shame on you JCP !!

I bought three gold chains from the store on Florida mall in Orlando. After 3 months, two of the chains fell apart. I returned to the store and they claim that there is no warranty on it . Chain is made of cheap Material. I will never ever buy another jewelry there. I wasted 600 hundred dollars. It’s a shame that they sell poor made gold chains. I had to take chains to a jewelry store for repair. Be aware

My visit to the JCPenney portrait studio left me feeling deeply hurt and disheartened. It was meant to be a joyous occasion, capturing the early moments of my precious son's life, but instead, it turned into a nightmare due to the disrespectful behavior of the photographer, Larry. As soon as we walked in, Larry's attitude was sour, and it only worsened when my son started to cry. Instead of showing understanding, he lashed out at my family, raising his voice and making us feel unwelcome. The situation escalated when he scolded us for something as simple as placing my grandson on a blanket. His tone was harsh and demeaning, making me question why I had chosen to trust him with such a special moment. What truly broke my heart was the way he treated my husband. Instead of diffusing the situation, Larry resorted to using racial slurs and aggressive behavior. It was terrifying, especially with my daughter and grandson present. Feeling scared and vulnerable, I felt the need to document the confrontation, fearing for my family's safety. Thankfully, the manager, Teresa, intervened, but the damage was done. This experience has left a lasting impact on me. It's disheartening to think that such behavior is tolerated in a place meant to capture cherished memories. I hope JCPenney takes swift action to address this issue and ensures that no other family has to endure such hurtful treatment.
