Called costumer services and after waiting for one hour the representative did not help me and tried to transfer the call to the store which was already closed...

Held on the phone for 55 minutes to speak to a representative and hung up because no one on the other end came on the phone. Such poor customer service...I can understand why the company is going out of business.

I wish I had of read this before ordering online. I order a ring on May 14th that says it was in stock and to be shipped a couple days later. Checking order status didn’t move for weeks. I called and they stated because of manufacturers it hadn’t shipped yet and wouldn’t until 6/8. Again no communication about that, website is never updated. I tried calling and waited 35 minutes and still no answer. All it says is shipped. It still hasn’t arrived. I will never order online again from JCPenney. Worst service I’ve ever received. My daughter is still waiting for her 16th birthday ring.

Worst customer service experience in my 43 years! Ordered jewelery online over a month ago and still has not shipped and can't get refund. So disappointed. Ive called and emailed on numerous occasions asking to speak with a supervisor. Nothing nada squat. I've reached out to federal agency's at this point. Im done with the run around.

I have a order Out of 5 items I got 3 I have my last week in the Usa and now because of there mistake im dealing with a bunch of shit They tell me to call 911 911 tell me to call another number And this never ends I just don’t understand why i have to deal with this shit I ordered online and payed Why cant i get my orders normally.

Bought a RC helicopter from JCPenney it was defective so I returned it. They have had it for 9 days now per the return delivery confirmation. They are refusing to refund my money. JCPenney shipped defective products and refusing to refund my money. Buyer beware!!

I think it’s rotten that you ship out merchandise that is defective, then when you have a delivery confirmation that you have received the merchandise back you sit on my money for 3 weeks. Looks like I’ll spend all weekend on the internet reviewing JCP. Thanks Amber

I placed an order online recently and went to check the status....order now shows 0 total and all items were CANCELED...no call or email as to who or why it was canceled...been a JCPENNEY customer for 40 years and this is a first...very disappointed

I recently posted a complaint and recently was contacted by JC Penny. They were efficient and courteous. They rectified the problem and I give them credit for this. It shows that not all big corporations are the same. I would shop here again unlike Nordstrom that demonstrates terrible customer service.

I called customer service to ask if they can cancel my order that was pick up because of the coronavirus outbreak. She did not did anything to help me at all. I have never had any problems with return or cancel items since im calling to CUSTOMER SERVICE. Its the most ridiculous thing ever, making me call the store which was closed. My problem not solve. I would never order from them ever.

I ordered a quilt 3-5-20. Got e-mail would receive between 3-11 and 3-13. Check 3-12am still same info. Checked 3-12 pm new e-mail said would receive 3-18-20. Called cust svc 3-13. !st rep said could do nothing till mon. 3-16. Asked for supvr she said will couldn't cancel order but would refund money. Would take 3 to 5 business days. If recvd order to either call back and they would recharge me if I wanted to keep(sure the thought here was I would recv and decide to keep)or if still wanted to cancel call and they would send label to return at no charge to me. I should not have to spend all this time on phone or take item to ups store to be returned. Has jcp just been honest up front about how long it would take I would not have ordered. I see other customers have had this same problem. Shame on you. Wonder why you are going out of business?

They don't deserve any stars!!! Worst customer service experience ever! I ordered a very expensive dinnerware set and a set of glasses. Both arrived broken. In the process of trying to get them replaced one of their customer service reps became very rude and even hung up on me. I was going to reorder despite the fact I was risking them arriving damaged Again but after the poor customer service, I will order them somewhere else. I DONT recommend jc penny online for products or services!

Would not purchase online with this company again. Only reason I give 2 stars is because if the item I bought but it's a Levi's jacket which happened to be sold through this company. I noticed the price drop after I purchased it. I thought like other stores I've had experience with that they would honor the discount since it was just a few days I had ordered. My order was still processing. I called the toll free number and it seemed like the employee made excuses. I've had much better customer service and amore professional interaction with stores like REI. I sent a review and that was denied. I realize why this company is closing many stores. I definitely dont recommend purchasing online with JC Penny's.

J C Penney canceled my orders on February 1st Despite multiple phone calls and emails, I still have not received the refund. I am owed $22.73 from JC Penney. How do I go about getting my refund? TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE SERVICE.

Keep on hiring foreigners that do not have full function of ENGLISH ! You lost me as a long time customer of over 40 years ! From back to your catalog days... You service is disgusting now. Is this company that hard up to not give a damn about the service their customers get ? Many times the phone will ring forever or you are put on hold automatically and no one ever comes on. I use every other store but theirs now. Won't ever call them again..or buy on line either. Too agrivating..

I ordered And paid for 2 panels online and I received 1 panel and someone else’s sheer. I call customer service to get the panel I paid for and to let them know I will be returning the sheer I didn’t purchase. Customer service tells me she can send me the panel I need but she will have to recharge me for it and I will need to go into a store and explain what happened and get a refund. REALLY!!
