“My boyfriend bought a necklace on October 4th. It said expected date October 8th. Still have not received it. The latest update on the package is October 7th. On the actual order it says "shipped". However, whenever we check the tracking number, it says label is created and facility has not received package yet. I called today and the man stated that we should be getting a confirmation later today (still nothing) about confirmation of it being shipped and should arrive tomorrow. I asked why it was taking so long and the guy said "if you buy jewelry from us it doesn't ship until a day or two before you recieve it"...which made no sense. My boyfriend also called and a different lady answered. She emailed the factory and would give him an update in 24-48 hours. Two different people are giving us two different answers. The time for shipment is ridiculous and this has now been going on for 2 weeks. Very unsatisfied.”

I’ve been told recently that the check was mailed and cashed by someone (not me as I never received it) so it is now up to me to figure out who cashed it which is of no help in getting the money owed to me. “Ordered items online after visiting store and being told they don’t carry what I needed. Placed two orders on line a day apart. Both orders shown as delivered . Received first order but only 1/3 of second order. Called customer service and they refunded by money but told me I could not reorder because my J.C. Penney credit card was over the limit. It was not, they hold money so it shows over the limit. I also asked them to update my phone number which they said they could not do. I had a 40% off coupon that they mailed me. Went back to the store to purchase the one item they did not ship that was in stock. Picked up 2 other items and went to the one checkout that was open. They asked for my phone number. I gave my current number. She said it didn’t work. I told her they had it under a different number which I didn’t remember because I hadn’t had that number for over 20 years. I said do it without a number , she said I would not get the discounts then. Figured that out and she rang up my items. I gave her my coupon and she said it wouldn’t work. She then handed me a stack of unopened coupons and told me to pick one. I asked her what if I don’t get one for 40%. She responded then you don’t get it. Due to her rudeness and huffing and puffing and talking over me the entire time, I said I was done and wheeled my wheelchair right out. I also during this visit, picked up a 2 in nail in the wheel of my wheelchair. I have shopped at j c Penney for over 50 years and that was the last time. If I could give zero stars I would.”
