I wanted to let everyone know how poor the customer service is at LG, and how their linear compressors and smart inverter compressors cause issues and fail within 1 - 3 years. LG have lawsuits filed against them from 2021 regarding the linear compressors and engineers have confirmed it is the same for the newer smart inverters, and they seem to be busy changing them regularly. Unfortunately, it is a little late for me but I would just Google it and you will see the results. Do not buy their products. You will regret it. I understand electronic devices are not built to last anymore. It makes it more profitable for large organisations to keep making money by using substandard equipment. What bothers me more in this instance is LG's lack of understanding and customer service. My American style fridge freezer (model number GSLV70MCTF) was purchased in May 2022. I noticed the sound of the motor on Sunday 21/07/24. The motor noise got louder over the next few days, and on Tuesday evening I could hear it from my bedroom. At this point I reported it to LG on the morning of Wednesday 24/07/24. I was told someone will contact me in 24 - 48 hours to arrange a visit. The noise got louder and louder to the point where it sounded like an engine. On Thursday evening we noticed water on the floor around the freezer compartment. We used a thermometer to check the temperature and found the freezer compartment was at -2 degrees Celsius and the fridge was at 10 degrees Celsius. The display panel showed the temperature was OK at -17 degrees Celsius for the freezer and 4 degrees Celsius for the fridge. I also rang diagnostics from their app, which suggested the door was open!! (Obviously it wasn't). By that evening LG's helpdesk was shut and no-one responded on the online chat. On Friday I called again and was told it would take 2 business days for their 3rd part agents to get in touch to make an appointment for someone to look at the fridge freezer! After spending hours on the phone to local companies, I had to arrange an appointment with their only agents in my area, Pacifica, based in Durham (I live in Lancashire). The earliest they could come out was Wednesday 31/07/24. They were cheaper for labour costs though, so if you are in a similar situation, contact the agents directly. The engineer who arrived was arrogant and didn't listen to what I had to say. He ended up knocking off my electricity as he shorted out his mutli-meter and blamed my sockets!! I have been told 2 things are wrong with the fridge freezer and it will need 3 separate parts. The fan is the main issue. That's stopping the fridge and freezer from cooling, but the water dispenser also stopped working too a few days later. Apparently I need two parts for this as the engineer couldn't be bothered to diagnose what the problem is. So I need a circuit board and a pump. Not tested either though!! Now I am waiting for a callback from Pacifica to give me quote on the cost of the parts. That will take 24-48 hours. The engineer believes it could take up to 2 weeks to get the parts but I can't order them now until he does his report. I rang the Pacifica helpdesk as the engineer left but no details were available on his visit. Anyway, I have had to throw out around £80 worth of food. Shame really, as it is obviously the summer holidays and it's surprisingly warm for this time of the year. Rant over. Please share and let everyone know how poor the customer service is at LG and how they are aware of problems with their compressors, but are still actively using them.

DO NOT ORDER DIRECT FROM LG!!! Order arrived on July 15,2024 it was damaged. I contacted LG within 30 minutes of receiving damaged range and as of July 31,2024 I am still waiting on a replacement. Customer service is very poor. Basically they have a script they go by because everyone I spoke with said the same thing even a so called supervisor. If you ask for a call back expect to wait at least 24 hours even when you're told the next available representative will call you back. Do not order directly through LG. Star rating: negative 10. Yes it's that bad.

My salesperson Michael, noted my age and took his time to explain the benefits of a tankless water heater. I was interested in these since travelling to Europe and noticing this was the norm there. Michael provided valuable information, so that I could see the best option was to go ahead and purchase a Tankless Water Heater. I was promised that LG would return my existing gas fired water heater rental back to Reliance, at no extra cost, installation was promised the next day, and am happy to report that using this tankless water heater provided more space, saves. 35% on gas costs, & generally very happy with this modern way.

WORST company and the absolute WORST refrigerator on the market. We’ve had ours only 11 months and it quit and LG cannot even fix it! We’ve been without a refrigerator for over a month waiting on a part that we found out doesn’t even exist! They refuse to give us a refund too. Unbelievable!

Bought a 55 inch oled. Suffered severe screen burn in after 2 years. Replaced the screen and guess what? Same screen burn in issue again.DO NOT BUY AN LG OLED!!!!

We will never buy LG again. They can't assist you over the phone and they don't even understand their own products. Samsung and any other Electric product would be better. Yes - LG has a clean look but life is not good with this company. We have a LG front loader washer and we have clothes stuck inside and can't open the door. No safety release or anything to get the clothes out so they have to charge you to come out and fix a common problem with all front loaders. Its a scam to buy the equipment while your paying just as much to have them come out and fix the product besides being transferred to people that can't help. Worst Service ever!!

Lg suck they customer service suck bad business. All the way around my refrigerator went out nine days ago. They’re just not giving somebody to come and see about my refrigerator July 31 I have five kids in the house buying food every day can’t put leftovers in the refrigerator very bad constantly have to give them a call back had the refrigerator for two years bad business all around microwave refrigerator is gonna be my stove I would never purchase another LG product For my kitchen

Subject: Urgent: Ongoing Issues with Refrigerator Repair and Delivery Dear LG Customer Service, I am writing to express my severe frustration with the ongoing issues I’ve experienced regarding the repair and replacement of my refrigerator, which has been unresolved for over a month. I hope this message will prompt a swift resolution. My refrigerator, which is only four years old and still under warranty, stopped working approximately a month ago. An appointment was scheduled with a repair company for the following day, within an 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM window. However, the technician did not arrive, and upon contacting the repair company, I was informed that LG had only set up the appointment and was not responsible for the delays. This caused a significant delay in addressing the issue and resulted in the spoilage of all the food in both the freezer and refrigerator. Following this, I was advised by an LG representative to file a claim once the repair was completed. When I did so, I was informed that the claim was not covered because the issue had not lasted for more than five days. Unfortunately, the repair was short-lived; the refrigerator stopped working again just two days after the initial repair. By this time, the situation had been ongoing for two weeks. The repair company subsequently declared the refrigerator unrepairable, leading to further delays. After waiting through the weekend, I finally received a call from LG offering a prorated reimbursement. I was given the option of receiving cash or credit through LG, with the latter providing a higher amount. Given the urgency of my situation and the higher delivery cost associated with ordering directly from LG, I opted for the LG credit, which promised next-day delivery. The new refrigerator was scheduled for delivery on July 25th. As of today, July 29th, the refrigerator has still not been delivered. I have contacted LG every day since the scheduled delivery date, but each time I receive the same response: “You will be contacted within 48-72 hours.” To date, I have not received any follow-up. This extended delay has been extremely disruptive and costly for my family, especially given the additional expense of eating out. The lack of reliable communication and resolution has exacerbated the situation. I urge you to address this matter immediately. Please provide a clear update on the status of my delivery and expedite the process as much as possible. I would appreciate a direct response or escalation to a higher level of customer service to resolve this issue without further delay. Thank you for your attention to this urgent matter. Bought a dishwasher through the LG website and paid extra for installation. Received from LG a firm delivery and install date. Waited all day on the delivery date. Nobody showed, no call, no text, no email. I called LG customer service and was told "Well, we can have someone get it there 2 days from now." They just don't care about anyone's time and effort to prepare the install location.

My compressor went out in my 3-year-old refrigerator. I called on Saturday and spoke with two different agents who said a letter of authorization was placed and it would be mailed to the service repairman. I called on Sunday and was told a LOA was not required and all he had to do was call a 312 number with a reference number. When he called today he was told that a LOA was needed and it had been emailed to me already. Called LG back and was told an LOA would take 5-7 business days. When I called back for the fourth time to speak to a manager about what the policy is they offered to set me up with an in-house repairman, first anyone mentioned in-house. Four different agents and I am still not sure what the policy is and I have not got the manager yet. The absolute worst customer service, equal to Samsung.

Ordered online twice once through LG partner website and once through hone depot (appliance came from LG warehouse) both times delivery dates confirmed. Both times delivery dates inaccurate. I took a day off without pay and looks as if another day off without pay. Company said they sent a voice message. I did not receive a voice message either time. As I do not have access to my company email outside the office. Twice now. Buyer beware unless you want to lose pay because they don't deliver when they say they will.

LG 43UR91006LA TV less than 6 mths old, popup said channels needed updating. Bad move! Most existing channels lost on retune! Only answer factory reset! 4 days later same thing, & another factory reset! Auto u/d now turned off, as it's apparently a known problem. All LG say is check your aerial!!!! Last LG product I every buy!

Do not buy this over priced junk. Our fridge / freezer stopped running and it's been nearly 2 weeks to get it fixed. We still do not have a date of when it will be fixed. Last week LG was supposed to send a Tech to our house. My wife took 2 days off of work to stay home, both times LG called and backed out. FANTASTIC customer service. My question is, where do I send the bill for all the food we have bought to eat out since we don't have the ability to keep food in our house? I hope LG enjoyed the money they got from us with the purchase of the fridge / freezer, microwave, stove and dishwasher. You will NEVER get another cent from us. We will take our business elsewhere.

I'd give a negative 5 for the worst ever customer service, worst company to have to deal with beside Home Depot who sells their product. Had a refrigerator dropped in my garage not installed but dropped for a 2nd scheduling was needed for install. 1st available was 4 days later. On July 16 2024 when product was installed there was a bent piece to the back of it. The installers took pics to send in to their company an I did as well. So there starts the run around, toss back an forth, Home Depot to LG. LG Reps are awful. Definitely a language barrier, they put you on hold indefinite times up to an over 20 mins calling themselves documenting, I believe in hopes you hang up. What could be documented when there's no assistance. I'm told by LG day of install they have part, should they send to me, for me to do myself, are you kidding me!! No i ask for tech, oh ok yea someone call you in a couple days to set up. Several days pass, oh now repeat situation, meanwhile I've sent them pics, receipts, Landen doc an damage. Oh now we are escalating and someone will call. Hours on the phone at this point. 22nd July, I get a offer $200 to make right the damage. Really, that's the best a Big Corp has is to toss a bone to a consumer an we are expected to jump? Back your products, back your hype of what you do to the products you put out there. Talk to Supervisor again after days of being on hold and dissmised. Sipervisor Havin says, oh the money is for the inconvenience it doesn't nulll and void their warranty which get this, covers he said interior. Interior!! So you replace my plastic shelves! Really, so gracious. He stated they do not repair their product if damaged on outside.They send me a drafted letter via email to sign relinquishing them from A-Z. Sign it notarize etc. Meanwhile again statng LG has nothing no longer to do with product. Nope , a totalbuy out, hush hush, instead of them backing their product. Biggest mistake for purchase, worse decision I've made LG . Shameful that companies out there are so lacking in professionalism an backing their products when defective. Never ever will I purchase an LG product. I've shared this experience with many so my mistake isn't repeated!

The worst LG customer experience so far. No one knows what to do and help the customer. Extremely disappointed. They keep routing the calls to different specialists like a game show, to irritate and finally to make the customer give up.

I chatted with LG on 7/2/24 about my vacuum that won't turn on. We did some trouble shooting and I was told I would be sent a mailing label and a box. I received nothing. Today is 7/24/24. I tried to chat with LG about this last night and their system kept kicking me off before I could be connected with someone who deals with vacuums. That happened twice. There is no record in "My LG" of my attempt to get information about / initiate a repair on 7/2. I tried again today and was told a) that my vacuum is out of warranty when the motor is NOT out of warranty and b) that I would have to pay $200 plus tax BEFORE I would be sent a mailing label. Why would I do that? Because LG's follow-up and customer service so far has been so stellar? Um, NOPE! I will return this vacuum to Costco and buy a different brand.

I regret to share my dissatisfaction with the service provided by LG. Despite my attempts to seek assistance via emails and calls for a gas leak issue in my LG AC unit, I have not received a response from any level within the organization. Due to this poor service, I cannot recommend LG products. Complaint number: RNP240717026648.

Fridge is a necessity in today’s world. I field a complaint with LG on 8th July and despite repeated reminders, I have been unable to get it repaired. Their people come and take money and go away. They don’t even respond back. The customer service has only 1 answer - we will escalate. My complain RNP number is 240708099405 dated 8th July. Why such foreign companies are allowed to operate in India. They should be thrown out from here.

LG sent technician for my broken induction cooktop, he took pictures of the damage and the model, they charged my credit card $349.00 without service done. The technician is a scammer and lied he reported that he adjusted burners, functions and connections but in fact my complain is the induction cooktop to be replaced, LG believes to their lier technician 2 mos arguing with LG customer service and to their presidential liaison but Gena the presidential liaison close my case without further investigation she believes on the lier technician. I will never trust LG again they are scammers
