Ordered a floor lamp via Debenhams online in January - the lamp was faulty - emailed Debenhams they wanted video of issue (!) which was the lamp was wobbling as the middle pole did not support it - Debenhams contacted Living and Home and they asked if I could try another socket (irrelevant) or try tightening the bolts in the base of the light - bit difficult as the base is moulded together and I do not work for Living and Home! Long story short BooHoo owns Debenhams - got in touch with the CEO - he sent my complaint to Customer Service and since then at least 30 emails back and forth and still no sign of a refund. Do yourself a favour and do not order from Boohoo, Debenhams or Living and Home AVOID

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. Ordered a Gazebos. E mail from DX delivery it would arrive Between 0800 and 1800hrs on 23rd January. Waited all day.Never arrived! E mailed Living and home at 0800hrs on 24th January, today. Just an automated reply. Have asked them to phone me with update of delivery, no response. So out of pocket by 340 pounds it seems. Will contact credit card company.

Very bad company I purchased an item from b&q supplied by this living home web the item arrived was damaged they refused to refund and and cancel the order even the item unused only opened the box , they told me wait for next order coming from abroad within 7 weeks .

Terrible Quality and Customer Service – Avoid This Company! I purchased a "Living and Home 6 Lights Modern Circular LED Light Adjusted Semi Flush Ceiling Light for Nordic Decor," expecting it to be a high-quality product, especially since it was sold through a reputable retailer like B&Q. However, the light stopped working after just 16 months—far sooner than I would expect for a ceiling light that cost £75. When I contacted customer service, both the seller and B&Q refused to take any responsibility, hiding behind a minimal warranty that clearly reflects how little confidence they have in their products’ quality. Despite several attempts to resolve this issue, the customer service was dismissive and unhelpful. They made it abundantly clear they don't care about their customers once a sale is made. If I could leave no stars, I would! This company clearly prioritises short-term profit over customer satisfaction and product longevity. Their products are not made to last, and if you experience an issue, don’t expect any support or resolution. Based on my experience, I strongly urge others to avoid this company and their products. Save yourself the hassle and money by choosing a brand that stands behind its products and values its customers.

Absolutely terrible service! I placed an order with next-day shipping, only to find myself chasing it two weeks later. I was then informed that the item was out of stock and would take another three months to arrive! I requested a cancellation and refund, and after several days, they replied that they had suddenly “located stock” and would dispatch my order the next day. When I checked again a few days later, nothing had been sent. Eventually, my order was cancelled, but nearly a month later, I’m still fighting to get my refund! I’ve had to get my credit card company involved just to try to recover my money. Such a hassle! If you value your time and money, avoid this company at all costs – it’s nothing short of a scam!

DO NOT BUY I got sent a faulty fire they tried offering me so much money to keep it I said no I want to return and have a new one sent this process started at the beginning of September and we are now on the 30th October they collected the fire after being ignored then finally I opened a dispute with clearpay for them to then respond so looked as if they were dealing with it the dispute got closed and now I'm being ignored I have no fire a hole in my wall waiting for the new fire I have had no refund and being ignored It's absolutely disgusting zero customer service and they want banning from selling. Currently looking into trading standards and put in a new dispute wish I had Read these reviews before.. deserves zero stars 1 is too good for this place

I ordered what I thought was an umbrella parasol as all five photos showed an umbrella, it was not until it was in my cart that the photo changed but still the description said 'umbrella'. It was very misleading. I had to pay to return it, which being an umbrella base was very heavy and so cost me £12 to return. They gave me a refund but refused to pay the return postage meaning that I was out of pocket even though I feel I was totally mislead. The amount of emails to and fro was unbelievable and never will I again shop with this company.

I ordered a TV unit with fire integrated, and NO FIRE turned up. they are ignoring my emails, and you can't call anyone. DO NOT touch this company with a barge pole.

Same issues as other recent reviews. Ordered a shower tray from a link on the B&Q website and it arrived without the waste trap. No email reply from customer service and PayPal listed phone number is not working. I am chasing PayPal for a refund and I will not use them again.

I wish I've seen the reviews about them before . I have purchased a sofa bed from them through Debenhams. it happened to be very bad quality as after couple of months the padding went flat. i could literally feel the frame work through the fabric and see the shape of my body while sleeping. After reporting a problem they have send a replacement product right away. The new sofa had missed matched parts so I could not assemble it . On this occasion I have decided to return it and have a refund. then the problem started. They arranged a courier company for the particular date and they keep rescheduling it day by day to delay the refund process . Its been more than a week now and still waiting.

Order #92055 This must be a scam or simply lazy unfair unprofessional. You have delivered a dirty used armchair which was not even sealed in a box properly. I have asked you to pick it up and refund me the money so Emy (the person who replied by email) has asked me to send pictures which I did. You got back to me that 'if I still need to return' to send it to an address they have provided, with a contact number 441612238955 that is out of service- alternatively to take it to their warehouse! This means I have to hire a van to drive that bulky 50kg bulky armchair which will cost me £300-£400 or arrange for a carrier which will cost around £ 200. This is either a joke or you are simply taking the mickey out of your customers. It will cost me more than what I have paid for the armchair to return back !! I will take the box and place it near the skip on Tuesday 23 of July so you can pick up betweem 8.30-5.30 to my below address. If you don't do so, Chelsea council will be asked to pick it up. This has been a very bad experience. A privacy screen that was not fit for purpose and then the returns process is impossible. Still has not been collected even though promised collection via text and email with XDP express

Ordered a water feature which was faulty, have been trying to return it since 19th June 2024,it's still in my shed in it's box, do yourself a favour and go to your local garden centre!

I bought a greenhouse which was very poor quality. They blamed me for not putting it up correctly but it was very flimsy. Would only refund me £70 -out of the £234 I spent on it for a birthday gift for myself. Feel like I’ve been robbed as the greenhouse has been pulled down as no good at all-don’t buy from here. Really disappointed to only be offered a small refund. Never had such poor service before.

I ordered a cupboard in April, was scheduled for delivery on 7/5, but it was never delivered. We've been chasing this company for one month, they make fake promises that are never honoured. In the last few weeks we've tried to chase them by email and phone, no response. We've paid 350 euros for a product that is simply not delivered and they stopped responding to any questions. This is a complete scam and company that takes your money and doesn't deliver the product. Stay away from them. I'm going to take legal action to get my money back.

I won't be ordering from this company again. Never before have I experienced such difficulty in returning goods. They don't have any telephone and, once I had realised that the courier they told me was coming each day to collect the goods was never going to come, finding a contact name and address to return them myself proved difficult too. I finally managed to get the goods returned, even though even that has not been acknowledged, within the 30-day limit. Had I not I suspect I would have been told "sorry, no refund, you've had the goods for 30 days". I'm really surprised that B&Q use a company like this as an associate supplier.

i wouldnt recommend buying anything the new items sent are faulty and im having a nightmare trying to send it back to them or even get a refund
