What a stupid company trying to rip customers off by not refunding, my package holiday no longer exists ie the flights were cancelled with no replacement hotel couldn't accommodate different date but still no refund, the stupid thing is I would have rebooked and just gone elsewhere but due to the underhanded rip off tactics I'll never use again and hopefully other people do the same and they get what's coming... Bye bye love holidays.... Luckily paid on credit card so getting refund off them but not off love holidays as they think I'm travelling on a flight that doesn't exist,

Company is inadequate, poor customer service. Does not allow phone calls, no response to live chat or online messages/emails. I have been attempting to get a refund since mid March due to Covid-19 cancellation without a single response to my requests. How convenient!

Please note Love Holidays resigned from ABTA on 16/10/20, to get out of paying package holidays in full.

We confirmed with Love Holidays on the 25th August, that we still planned to travel to Majorca as planned, on the 31st August. We arrived at our hotel in a taxi at 5pm to find the hotel closed. We were advised by local residents that the hotel had been closed for some time. I called the emergency helpline and was advised that a representative would call me back within the hour. The representative called over an hour later, I explained that we were on the seafront with our cases, and that one of the travellers was disabled, and distressed by the situation, by this point it was 6.30pm. The rep asked if I could go and find a hotel and he would try to book it. I pointed out that it was Loveholidays responsibility to find us accommodation, and I was in disbelief that had even suggested that we should be walking around with our cases looking for a hotel at this time of the evening. He said he didn’t know which hotels were open in the area. Due to the fact that it was 7pm at this point, and my son was stressed, I gave the rep the name of a hotel that was in view, and was open, which he eventually booked us into. He offered me £30 compensation for the inconvenience, which I refused. When I got home the £30 had been paid into my account in spite of my refusing the offer. I haven’t bothered contacting Loveholidays, as I’m doubtful, given my previous contact with them, that a satisfactory outcome would’ve been achieved. My first and last holiday with this company! Be very wary, other holidaymakers have since told me about similar experiences with this company,

I have been dealing with Loveholidays over the last 6 weeks. Since their lines are down, you can only speak to them through LiveChat. I advised them prior 2 weeks to the holiday that I could not attend the holiday due to quarantine measures and that I would like to know my options. They claimed they would send a SMS which was sent and that would be it. They did send the message, I replied NO as you see via the image and they claim I can either have a cash refund or credit note etc and that they would email me within 4 days of that message. They never emailed. I have had another 7 conversations with them after until now on LiveChat as they don't have any other way of communication. I cant save the conversations but today they said they have all the recorded conversations so they can show you if needed. The thing that has happened here is that they have lied on many occasions to try and keep the money and have said different things in order to suit them which is what you will see in the messages. So the first thing was that they said they never received the SMS, clearly you can see prior to the message that there was an SMS so I had to send in proof on the 27th August so that they would get back to me. They didn't. What happened with the next 2 conversations is they say someone will get back to me. Nothing happened. So this time which was on the 9th September on Live chat, they said that I could get a refund and they can see a message in my inbox claiming that if I reply I will get my money within 2 weeks of the holiday. So I looked on my inbox, nothing was there. Another lie. So then they said OK I will get the technical team to be in touch. Guess what, no technical team replied. So now I have gone back which is the 15th September and they now say I cant get a refund. I said do you want me to resend proof of the image and also what conversations have been said, you must have them recorded as it is a data protection policy , they said yes they have everything and that you can write a post on your booking order. Well another lie, I went on my booking and there was no option and then as a final suggestion they said to write to you. Countless lies which I believe is actually fraud on their part. I also have the ATOL protection certificate also if needed. I did not even give me the shuttle bus money. Worst company, will keep your money and lie whenever possible.

We booked the Canaries before Covid19 was known about, but after the Foreign Office said do not travel there or otherwise isolate when you return, we decided at the beginning of August not to go as my husband is over 70 and I am 69, but still a part time front line key worker and cannot isolate when returning to UK and would not want to risk catching Covid19 when it has soared so much in Gran Canaria. Also and very importantly, we could not get travel insurance as it was going against official advice to travel there. I tried many many times to speak to Loveholidays and also tried to get on to their chat line, but none of that happened. I once briefly spoke to someone, but they did not seem to know much about any of it and said the Team would get back to me within 48 hours. That never happened. I cancelled through Manage my Booking and it stated that I would lose certain monies that I had paid already, but had another £115 to pay to cancel the holiday and then when I did this, a notice came up acknowledging I had cancelled. Bearing in mind I never had the opportunity to discuss any other options with Loveholidays as there was no possible way of reaching them and now they have even taken down their phone line. I thought my booking was a package holiday, as that was how it was portrayed, but the Manage my Booking information said I had to contact the airline which was Ryanair to sort out anything to do with the flight or transfer it. I could not get hold of Ryanair and the phone call cost me £12. I accessed my booking on line with Ryanair and after going through the options found out it would cost me £200 to transfer our flight to next year, so I did not do that. Then again, why are Loveholidays and Ryanair still booking and carrying on with these holidays to destinations that are 'no go' re Foreign Office Advice and taking people's money. It is a national disgrace and against the law. Surely it is again ABTA and ATOL regulations. Yesterday, I received an e mail from Loveholidays, stating I owed another almost £500, which would have been what I would have been paying if we had gone. I am assuming it is a computer glitch, because they wont be getting it. This was several weeks after the cancellation acknowledgement from Loveholidays, when we paid the £115 to finalise the cancellation. Basically the Management are at fault. They should have 'stepped up' to the Covid19 situation, instead of certainly giving the impression they were just out to get customers money without any customer service available whatsoever. They are still booking holidays, but what about the hundreds of poor customers who through no fault of their own have been left high and dry. Covid19 has caused a dreadful situation across the board, but other travel companies have dealt with it competently, even if there has been some delay in communication. They have not just blanked their customers who are in need of advice or awaiting refunds as if they don't matter. Very disappointed indeed.

Do not book with them! They took my money cancelled my holiday then told me to chase the airline for my refund (even though I booked through love holidays and they are the ones who took the money) to then be informed by the airline that I won’t be refunded as the flight actually went ahead despite love holidays cancelling my holiday

We cancelled our holiday to the Canaries a few weeks ago as we are in the vulnerable age group, could not get travel insurance as going against Foreign Office Advice. This was originally booked pre Covid19. I still work part time and am classed as a front line key worker because of my job at a school and cannot isolate when I return. I am also a part week carer for my 2 year old Granddaughter, to allow my Daughter to earn money. Who would want to go against official advice, or travel without insurance, let alone a holiday company still allowing and booking people to go to these destinations with Covid19 soaring in those areas. We lost approx. £400 and re the Manage my Booking had to pay another £115.00 for cancelling. We did not want to wait until the date when the rest of the holiday cost was due and then wonder if we would get a refund or credit note. I cannot tell you how many times I tried to ring Loveholidays and wait for the chat line to appear to discuss the situation before I cancelled, which was the beginning of August. I once got through on a very bad line and spoke to a lady who did not seem to know much about any of it and said the The Team would get in touch with me within 48 hours. Well, guess what, that never happened. Manage my booking stated that I had to deal with the airline, Ryanair, re my flights, which I have given up on as the phone call I made to them and never got through, cost me £12. I also found out that it was going to cost £200 to transfer the flights to next year, via my booking details on Ryanair website. I understood this was supposed to be a package holiday and under the package holiday travel law, surely all aspects of my package should be dealt with by Loveholidays. I received an e mail yesterday saying I owed a further amount of money, over £400, which I would have owed had I not cancelled the holiday at the beginning of August. I can only assume that this was an automated computer error and Loveholidays have not updated the details I have proof that my holiday was cancelled and an e mail stating they were sorry I had cancelled etc. I have booked with Loveholidays in the past and have been satisfied, but even allowing for the Covid19 situation, they have not behaved in an acceptable and professional way towards their customers. Surely they are causing themselves more problems by continuing to book people to these high Covid19 destinations, when within a few days or a week or so, the Government is going to clamp down and say people have to isolate or not go. No wonder they are in a mess with it all, but that is no reason why customers should be treated so shabbily. Basically, it is very bad organisation by the management, when they needed to step up. Very disappointed.

Didn't want to put 1 star as I don't even think they are worth that. Please do not use Love Holidays to book your holiday, even though I have used them for many years now they have now shown their true colours. There is no way to contact them, no phone no email or chat. I have spent 3 months now messaging them on Resolver but no reply. They have taken money out of my account for a holiday next sept and I can't get hold of them. I'm frustrated, angry and very upset that they are being so ignorant to their customers . I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN

First I would rather give minus stars. We have tried many days to contact by phone , chat any way to make contact. My daughter spoke with them last week, she sat half the day to get through on the chat. We wanted to ask about cancelling the holiday due to the covid19, but all they say we would lose all our money and to rebook it for next year. Today we try to rebook our flights but where told we have to do this with the flight company. My youngest daughter went to the hotel sight to check availability for next year, only to find that the hotel as closed for the season from the 9th Sept till 2021 but our holiday was due to commence on the 23rd Sept so we have not a clue where they wher going to send us. They dont even inform us but just try to get us to book for next year. This is the worst nightmare booking we have expierenced. I would never recomend to anyone or use myself never again.
