We ordered a refrigerator to be delivered. We advised them they would need a smaller truck to get up the driveway unless they could dolly it up. They showed up with a huge truck that could not get up the drive. I spoke to the dispatch before the second attempt. They assured me they would get a smaller truck. We took a second day off of work. They brought an even larger truck and refused to dolly it up the drive. The delivery folks were unprofessional. Lowes was not helpful at all, they were unable to offer a solution. I offered to bring a small trailer to the drive and pull it up myself, but they refused to wait even 15 minutes. Very poor service all around, I would not order an appliance to be delivered from Lowes.

I go into Lowe's and ask for a simple hook for a plant to hang it. I describe it they send me all over the store back and forth back and forth. There's nobody in the store except me and I've managed to find one other person and employee. I guess the rest are hiding. I describe the hook the man tried to be helpful but he was nothing like I described whatsoever. I really don't want to go up and down a damn football field back and forth back and forth and trying to find a hook. Their customer service is the worst. They don't even know their products and they're in that store. A dismal dismal awful experience. I haven't been there in 6 months. That's my mistake I won't ever go there again.

Irmo, SC, Store Placed four boxes of floor tile that was on the shelf marked as clearance. At the register the register showed it as cannot sale. It was needed to replace some defective tile. I asked the assistant manager to hold it so I could try to get permission to buy it. Immediately after I left they threw all of it in the dumpster.

We bought an LG Appliance package at Lowe’s. It was delivered on September 7th, we bought the fridge because it had the Craft Ice option. We have had problems ever since it was delivered, the ice is salty and can’t even use it because it makes our drinks nasty. I called Lowe’s to ask about it and they told me that it was an LG issue, so we have still been fighting with them to help us on our fridge. We have had a tech come out and he replaced the ice maker inside the fridge and still a problem. They keep trying to tell us that we need a plumber to come out. Our water and ice on the front part of the fridge works perfect. We have gone into Lowe’s 3 times the manager before him the back doesn’t want to help and another gentleman up front manager won’t help us at all. He said that the package would have to be wrapped still, how are you suppose to know if it works if it is still wrapped up. I would never buy LG again or buy anything from Lowe’s because of the customer service. Like I said we paid an extra $300 for the craft ice and it hasn’t worked since we bought it. Lowe’s also said that they have had people come in and complain about this as well.

Do not buy an generator at Lowe's. I purchase a $1200.00 plus generator from Lowe's on Dec 10, 2023, on Jan 9, 2024 I lost electricity and went out to fire up the generator. After five day attempting to get help with the manufacturer with no luck, I called Lowe's and was told of the 30-Day Return Policy. Outdoor Power Equipment (Excludes CRAFTSMAN and BLACK+DECKER branded corded and cordless outdoor power equipment items, which have a 90-day return policy.) Mowers, chainsaws, generators, pressure washers, trimmers, blowers, snow throwers, log splitters, wood chippers, hedge trimmers, edgers, tillers, earth augers and brush cutters must be returned within 30 days of receiving the product and must be unused and in original, unopened, undamaged, factory-sealed packaging. A 30 day return policy unused and in the original, unopened, undamaged, factory sealed packaging. Who purchases a generator, leaves it in the factory sealed packaging and never opens the box. I will never purchase any large appliance through Lowe's again.

If you are thinking of using Lowe’s Installation Services – Read This First Based on my experience, Lowe’s Installation Services is utterly incompetent and don’t care about customers. It all started with my getting quotes for the replacement of a pre-hung exterior door at my home. I got 3 quotes, Lowe’s was slightly lower cost than the other two quotes and I thought using a national chain store might have better customer service and support than the other quotes I received. Boy was I wrong. Lowe’s came out to my home, took measurements and wrote up the quote. I told the guy from Lowe’s that the door needed to look and be installed just like the door being replaced. He said that would be no problem. Lowe’s doesn’t do any of the actual installation work themselves – they farm it all out to third parties. Two weeks after I accepted the Lowe’s quote, the installation company came to my home and measured the door again and then the door was ordered. Three weeks later, I got an email saying the door was going to be delayed – so ok, another week delay was something I was getting used to in dealing with Lowe’s. A couple of weeks later I got a couple of different emails saying that the door was going to be delivered and giving me dates and time windows that I had to be home for delivery – but the door was never delivered. Then the installation company called me again wanting to come out and measure again… I thought that was odd given that they had already been out to my home, measured the door and the replacement door was scheduled to be delivered. When the guy from the installation company came out to measure the second time, he was muttering something about the door was the wrong size… he didn’t elaborate and seemed to leave my home in a hurry. So now I’m getting really concerned. I started calling Lowe’s Installation Services. They were polite but knew nothing about the job status, about the installation company or anything else. Their answer was always “I will contact the store”. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was told “we don’t have supervisors”. When I asked who else I could speak with, the Lowe’s Installation Services rep said I could contact Lowe’s Customer Care. So, I did and that turned out to be just as much of a waste of time as talking to Lowe’s Installation Services. Lowe’s Customer Care knew nothing about the job, the installation company or much of anything else. At this point, I’m really concerned. I’ve already paid for this work in full – as Lowe’s required. I don’t have the replacement door, it hasn’t been installed, I’m getting the royal run around and I’m out $3,600. I decided to go to the local store to talk to the store manager. I was told that the manager was not in but I did speak with an assistant store manager named Timothy. He was apologetic and uncharacteristically honest and forthright (compared to everyone else I had dealt with). He told me he had learned the door was measured wrong and that it was too small for the door opening in my home. When I asked him what the plan was to fix this situation, he paused and it was obvious that Lowe’s didn’t have a plan. We discussed cancelling the order and he acknowledged that was within my rights. In hindsight, I wish I had done that as things were only going to get worse from here out. But I told Timothy I would give him 24 hours to come up with a plan and review it with me. Timothy called back the next day – apologized again and outlined a plan to “try again”; i.e. have the installation company measure again and complete the work. Reluctantly and, in hind sight stupidly, I agreed. A full week later, the installation company came out to remeasure. I “assumed” that the door had been reordered at that point. But another full week later, I received an email from the original Lowe’s rep who came to my home. It was a “CYA” email basically saying that the replacement door jamb width was not going to be the same as my existing door and they would have to “modify” the installation and he was asking for my “approval” of these modifications. I responded to his email that unless he could be much more specific on what these “modifications” were going to be and what they would look like then to just cancel the order and immediately refund my money. I waited two full weeks and never received a response from Lowe’s. I was done with trying to reason with Lowe’s. I “assumed” that they cancelled the order and issued the refund but my online credit card account didn’t show a credit. So, I went back to Lowe’s one last time. I asked 6 times to talk to the store manager while 4 different assistant store managers tried to answer my questions. The store manager Evan Hunko finally showed his face for all of 20 seconds – apologized for my experience but it was clear he couldn’t care less about me or the horrible experience I had been through thanks to Lowe’s utter incompetence. I waited in that store for an hour and 45 minutes for them to cancel the order and issue me a credit. An hour and 45 minutes. Ten weeks of utter frustration and as of this writing I’m still fighting with Lowe’s credit card company to refund me. That credit card has been cancelled and I’ll never step foot in a Lowe’s store again.

Ordered a dishwasher 11/20/23. Paid in full 12/7/2023. Installed?? 12/21/2023. Yep got the error message. Called for service. Not until 1/5/2024. Guy sick could not make it. Now 1/11/2024 and yes there is HOT meaning nasty water been sitting in it because it will not drain. They hire installers/repairmen from over an hour away rather than pay local prices. If they paid what people are worth this would have probably been done by Black Friday. When I went to the store to ask for a rebate form NO ONE. and I mean NO ONE could print one off for me even though they had humongous printers sitting right there. 20 mins waiting to hear we can’t do it. Ummmmmm. You can sell a dishwasher. You CANT get it installed properly in a timely manner and you CANT print a rebate form. Yep time to hit Home Depot. Because MY TIME is too precious for this again.

DO NOT WORK AT LOWES! They have the most worthless training in their out of date computer system/no hands on training/no help from anyone, but they expect you to know everything. The management will demand that you do things that cause physical pain and once you get hurt, they do not support medical care, the insurance is useless, once released to work they demand you do the job that damaged your body. I was forced to quit working at Lowes and when I tried to get future medical costs paid for and was denied help because I quit. that does not take away from the fact that I was injured on the job. Just don't work their, it is the worst place to work

They are completely useless and incompetent! I’ve been waiting for my washer and dryer for the 3rd attempt after customer service f’ed up my order with various mishaps- putting wrong email one time, wrong phone number another time, canceling the order randomly for no reason- do yourself a favor and order elsewhere

We ordered custom windows from Lowe’s. When the installers came, they discovered the windows were too deep and for$3000, they could possibly modify our sashes if we agreed to having very little sash. We agreed. Lowe’s refused to pay the extra money even though it was their representative’s fault for not measuring properly. When we refused to pay the extra, they said they would have to charge us a restocking fee for the windows. What company doesn’t pay for their own mistakes? Hopefully Home Depot does, because that is where I will be bringing my business in the future- after being a loyal Lowe’s customer for at least 25 years

I used the Lowe’s App to set up a job interview. I was notified of the time via email and the person of contact was the Manager. I arrived 5 minutes early with my resume in hand. I asked the counter person where the manager was and she pointed to the sales floor, a few feet away. I always dress for success no matter what job I am applying for. I waited until the appt. time and approached the manager who was busy putting up displays for the holidays with 3 other associates. I politely said hello I have an appt. With you today. She was completely rude and replied, “Uh you mean a job interview?” I smiled and said yes maam. She said give ma a minute and I will be right with you. I walked just out of sight and began to shop as I waited. I then heard the manager gossiping about my appearance to the other associates. I was shocked. What kind of manager do you have running this store? I’m 46 and I am very experienced in retail and customer service. I was then interviewed by someone completely different. She wasn’t very interested but took my resume and told me she would be in touch. Then went back out on the floor. I never received a call at all. I would be an asset to your store especially with your current staff. You should send a secret shopper in to see your manager in action. She is very unprofessional and doesn’t deserve to be in a leadership role. FYI

I have had a Lowe’s credit card for almost 10 years. I have great credit , however Lowe’s and Synchrony bank have raised the Lowe’s credit card to 31.99% I have asked costumer service why my rate is going up in February and they can’t answer. It’s a good thing I can pay my card off before February.I also find it unacceptable that they don’t have enough products on hand in the stores. They also don’t have enough employees. Besides the fact that train their employees poorly.

I bought a washer/dryer set from Lowe,s. The sales girl was great. I chose to have Lowes deliver and install and remove my old set. I bought everything they said I had to to get them installed. The installers didn’t know what they were doing, left all the boxing in my front yard and left without installing either. I had to call a plumber, spend more money. Worst experience I have ever had with purchasing a new appliance. I will not be doing business with Lowes anymore. Very unhappy customer!

Lowe’s Dickson, TN., Project No. 7978944446 You’d think you could order a door there, right? No, you can’t. They don’t seem to have what it takes to tell their vendor what the dimensions, WHICH WERE PROVIDED TO THEM BY THE ACTUAL INSTALLER, are and place an order. I was on my THIRD reorder when I finally decided to just cancel it and get it somewhere else. I can’t imagine how much revenue a company like this loses because of such incompetence. How DO they stay in business?

Front entry doors were poorly installed. I can't get any customer service from Lowe's and the 'Install partners' said they are done with the project. $10,000 for a Pella door and I had to have someone trim out the front because what they did looked horrible, I have gaps along the bottom of the storm door and a broken center piece on the door where the latch is. I'll write to BBB after this but not sure it will get me anywhere. Between Lowe's and their "install partners".......I will never, ever do a special order again through Lowe's. After reading the reviews here I don't think I'll order an appliance either!

customer service is the worst of any box store. I've been trying to get a simple outside door installed for over 3 months. It's as if Lowes doesn't want my business. I could get into all the details of the run around and the rudeness but its not worth the aggravation. I need to cancel the order now and get the door somewhere else. Lowes is the absolute worse. I'll never shop there again. Even Home Depot is better and thats not saying much. Hopefully Lowes will go out of business soon. They deserve to.
