MPB is a huge scam. Their posted product are bull and they have zero customers service. I ordered a drone from them and got a box with batteries for the drone but NO DRONE. These fruads don't have a phone number to call, they don't respond to emails or the chat options on there site. Don't buy anything from the unless you want to get ripped off.

They've had two cameras and a small lens for trade in almost 1.5 months now. Finally got quote a week ago from them. One camera was supposed to come back and they haven't bothered sending it yet. This is beyond slow. I'm bought a professional camera earlier last year and the rating was excellent. I received it and the camera had a bad focusing lens. No way anybody inspected it because you couldn't see out the view binder it was so bad. These people have went downhill fast. Just go to adorama.

Refund cleared on Monday (3/7/22), checked on Thursday (3/10/22) and the funding had not been released yet. I asked why and didn't get an answer because it was in another dept.. Phoning the company is waiting forever, e mails not replied to. All in all I had other companies that are much better in communicating and quicker with transactions.

I would have gave mpb.com 0 stars if it was possible! I placed an order and I am still waiting—- it’s been over 2 weeks and my order status still says that it is “ready to picked.” Customer service is useless. I will never purchase from mpb again! Whatever money that you think you’re going to save using mpb you will pay for it in frustration.

Placed an order on a Saturday and paid for express shipping. Wednesday at 2:30 in the afternoon, I got an email saying there was an issue with the order and I needed to call - before 4 pm for same day shipping. That obviously didn't happen, but I called at 9:05 the next day. The lady said everything was dealt with and my camera would arrive Friday or Saturday, as I was leaving town again Tuesday. But Friday morning, it still hadn't shipped. I called again; he swore it would ship overnight. It didn't. I sent an email telling them they had until Monday 11am to give me a tracking number or cancel the order; their response (at 3:30 pm, more than a week after I placed an EXPRESS order) was "oops, your payment authorization has now expired and we need you to call us to reauthorize!" What a scam. Do not do business with these utterly incompetent people.

In searching for excellent condition used Canon 5DS R body mpb was suggested in a review as place to check. Fond a body for lower price than many other sites from mbp so ordered body Feb 22. Got order confirmation email but here it is Sat Feb 26th and after 4 phone calls and 3 emails my order still not processed! Put block on my paypal account against this order. Wish I would have read these reviews earlier. I completely agree with all these 1 star reviews about the appalling customer service and the way this company operates. And somewhat ironically in last 2 days contacted both B&H Photo and Adorama about trade-in couple of my used photo pieces...got emailed shipping labels within same day and Adorama delivered a used item next day no extra cost - now that's excellent customer service! DO NOT ORDER FROM MPB!!!!

I wish I would have read these reviews earlier. I completely agree with all these 1 star reviews about the appalling customer service and the way this company operates. I ordered my lens on Friday and it was supposed to arrive on Thursday the following week, which was in time for my upcoming weekend trip. Up until Wednesday I did not receive any notifications and order was shown to be still in process. I was finally able to get hold of someone over the phone after multiple tries, I was promised that the order will be shipped by 3 pm on the day of call after I explained to them that I needed it before the weekend as it was promised. Item never shipped that day, the next day or the day after. I did not receive any response to my emails or to the chat and calls were being declined. I emailed to request a cancellation and again I got no response, there is no option to cancel the order through the account or email. I was finally able to get hold of a representative over the phone who stated that they were sorry for the delay (no reason was provided) and he could not cancel the order but a supervisor would give me a call. The day is over and I am still waiting for that call. This was my most expensive lens purchase and I have learned a valuable lesson. Couple of hundred dollars saved is not worth this hassle. I am also wondering that if this company can not keep any promises, how accurate their product descriptions could be and how painful it would be to to return an item. I am not willing to take this risk and hoping that order will get canceled.

The worst customers service on the planet! Please think carefully and before you purchase or trade cameras with them. It could be a scam.

Ordered a “like new” camera with a serious, obvious flaw. A dial wouldn’t turn. As soon as I got it I contacted them to return it. They would not answer emails, messages or phone calls. They had a ridiculous message on their voicemail blaming a snowstorm for not answering the phone. After multiple phone calls, messages and emails to their Brooklyn, German and English offices, and complaints to PayPal and my credit card company, they finally sent a return label. Awful customer service.

You do not respond to email, phone or internet. No way to know what is going on. I have asked for the return of my gear as I no longer trust your company. No response at all. No one answers your phone. On hold then disconnected again and again.

Complete scam - don’t send your equipment into this company. As soon as I printed my fedex label via their link and shipped my ($5,000 worth of) equipment the shipment was instantly lost. It’s been over a month and they ‘say’ they’re waiting for fedex to complete their review and my latest email to ‘Oscar’ and ‘Andy’ has not received a response. Pretty good scam - we will pay you ‘x’ and you use our free shipping label… you lose your gear and they only paid $25 for a label.

I ordered a lens that was supposed to come with a tripod collar and lens caps. I didn’t receive them with my lens and they have since ignored my messages. I’m quiet upset that I spent the extra money to receive these items with my purchase yet have not gotten them.

My experience with MPB USA was terrible. Absolutely horrible customer service. I ordered a lens on Sunday, on Tuesday I had to call to confirm the order, I told them how important the lens was to me and how I needed it as soon as possible. I was told it would be to me by the weekend. On Monday I called asking where the lens is and they never sent it out. They waited so long to complete the transaction the bank declined their permission. What a waste of time dealing with this company

I purchased a Fuji NP-W235 battery for my X-T4 camera on Dec. 23rd that was advertised as in stock on MPB's website. PayPal said in an email confirming the order that money would not leave my account until my order was processed. After Christmas, I realized that I had never received any confirmation of shipment from MPB, so I sent them a couple of emails that went unanswered. On Dec. 30th, I received a voicemail message from someone at MPB saying that an "allocation error" had been made, and that the battery I ordered was actually not in stock, but by then the charge had been posted to PayPal and on to my credit card for the purchase price of the non-existent battery. How this happened when MPB did not actually have the battery in stock is beyond me. So, after New Year's I initiated a dispute with my credit card company and with PayPal. My credit card company gave me a conditional credit pending the resolution of the dispute, and PayPal forwarded my dispute email to them to MPB on January 4. Finally, on January 5, PayPal notified me that MPB had made the refund for my purchase of the non-existent Fuji camera battery. MPB has had its chance to earn my business, and it failed miserably. I will not deal with them ever again. So, as the saying goes, caveat emptor.

The main problem for me is mpb's inconsistency with regards to customer service. On Dec 20th I purchased a lens from them with no special shipping instructions because it was Christmas week and I expected terrible deliveries from whoever they use, so be it. However, to my surprise, I received the lens on the Christmas Eve, New York to Los Angeles! But here comes order number 2, completely different outcome. Ordered another lens on December 27th and as of today, January 3rd not only has it not shipped, but when I called their NY office their voicemail said they were closed today?!? I cancelled the order because I needed the lens for the end of this week and also because a flag went up do to the Jekyll and Hyde customer service. You never know what you're going to get!

I was looking to trade in my Excellent Canon 760d and pay the difference for an 80d. I only had a week before Christmas, so i have decided to give MPB a go. Putting a trade-in request on the website, although MBP comes more expensive than anyone else for trade-ins, I thought they will have better customer care given the reviews here. On Sunday the 19th, I have put in the request on the website. The collection was arranged for Tuesday the 21st. On Monday the 20th I have called MBP to ask if the timeline is realistic and I am being told that there is more than enough time to get everything through, to go ahead with my DPD collection and wait. On Tuesday 21st, I hand out the camera to DPD, as arranged. On Wednesday 22nd: - My camera is being delivered to MPB at noon, around 12.15 - I am calling MBP to ask them if this can be processed immediately, because I am ready to pay and have my new camera delivered before Friday. I am being told that their warehouse team is not that busy and that it should be ok, just to keep an eye on my emails. - I am waiting until about 4pm and I call again to chase for an update, I am being told now that they will not have time to process it, but that they will chase the team that checks the cameras received, because that is where the hold up is - At 5pm I am then getting an email to say that they are ready to send my camera and that I need to make my balance payment which I do immediately - I am calling MBP immediately after the payment to check when they can dispatch my camera and now I am being told that they have stopped dispatched up to after Christmas, and it is because of DPD, not them, because DPD will not be able to collect the camera until after Christmas. I am finding myself now without a camera for Christmas and out of my pocket by £324 that I just paid. I wouldn’t have gone ahead with this if my expectations would have been managed correctly since Monday before sending the camera or when I was still waiting for my camera to be checked. I don’t understand why everyone at MPB has mislead me so badly. At no point in any conversation this week, anyone from MPB mentioned the cut off point for dispatches. The DPD story is unbelievable, because i work in a company where we deal with DPD, DHL and other couriers and they are still making collections and next day deliveries on the 23rd and 24th of December.

they do not seem to be a reputable organization. i purchased a lens and tried to return it but missed the return period by 2 days. they sold me the lens in "like new" condition. i never used the lens outside of my home and it was attached to my camera a total of 10 minutes to test. i decided i needed a longer focal length and since they wouldnt take my return i decided to sell it back to them. they offered $490 for a lens i spent over $600 on less than 10 days earlier. i took their offer and returned the lens. now they changed the quote amount to $460 due to "condition" it was returned in the same condition as sold to me in the original box. if there was a condition issue it was sold to me that way. i caution anyone who does business with MPB to be careful, they are rip-offs and i would never consider doing business twith them again!
