FAILED to collect package within 2 days. Then decided to cancel pick up. Not even able to refund cost. TERRIBLE service! Do not deal with them! AVOID at any cost! Cheap people pay twice!

I can see from previous reviews that some customers have been very unhappy with the Hermes service. I have now had several deliveries via Hermes and I can only praise them. For each delivery, I had an email with information on tracking, then a second email confirming the day and time my items would be delivered. Each time they were spot on. Thank you very much Hermes for a polite and professional service. All the drivers were friendly, knocked and waited until I answered the door to confirm delivery. Keep up the good work.

This company is a absolute joke I booked a online pickup on Sunday 26/04/20 for collection on Tuesday 28/04/20 . No collection on 28th or 29th called them on the 30th and after a 40 minute wait on the phone was first told they tried to collect when I argued we are in lock down no one came the the second excuse was the courier that we gave the job too will not collect goods due to covid 19 . So why give them the job I asked they apologised and promised the item would be collected that day the 30th we are now on the 1st may and still my parcel has not been collected so I now have to use another courier at my expense to get the packing to a waiting customer if I don’t lose the sale. Never will I use or recommend this cowboy firm again

The second time that I used Hermes, they took three days to collect my parcel. If you are happy with 50% reliability then this is the courier service for you. I hope their delivery service is better than their collection service!

This company is not fit for purpose, and should not be trading with its currently awful standard of customer service. As a parcel recipient, they make it nigh-on impossible to talk to a real person and discuss issues of non-delivery, forged signatures, fabricated delivery attempts etc. etc. Whilst the retailers who send out goods with them are able to contact someone within the company, usually to be fobbed off with a false claim that the parcel has been lost or something, the actual person waiting in vain for delivery is left dangling on a piece of string. I have wasted valuable hours trying to chase the past five Hermes deliveries, none of which arrived. Among other things, I wanted to discuss with them the question of why their drivers are incapable of finding our address, though all other couriers do without apparent problem. But can I speak with anyone? There may be a phone number, but in my experience any attempt to get answers puts you into the dire cycle of FAQs>call phone number shown> multi-option auto message>Hermes hangs up>back to website>FAQs again............. the worst of the modern age.

Our local Hermes delivery guy Jed (Eccleshall) is fabulous, always happy to help, always pleasant and professional and always replies to queries on social media even when a parcel is not assigned to him. He is a credit to Hermes.

Been waiting on 2 parcels for about 2 weeks now, I appreciate there may be a delay in deliveries but I’ve been informed they may have ‘lost’ one of my parcels even though the the seller states it’s in a distribution centre somewhere and my 2nd parcel is running late, couldn’t be delivered and now still stuck in Sheffield somewhere, appalling customer service, not happy

Only ever had a bad experience with their deliver service. Couriers not ringing doorbell and failing to deliver constantly.

I will never use this company again. After losing my parcel, they initially refused to refund the postage , but accepted later on appeal to to do. I felt that because of all the different companies involved in their system that no one seemed to be in control , the drop off blamed the courier and Hermes and visa versa, No confidence at all and reluctant to buy from anyone who uses them as again they have lost incoming parcels.

Would definitely get 0 stars if it were possible, worst delivery place ever, been waiting on a parcel coming and next thing I get is a text msg saying delivered, what?! No knock on my door and it even said left in save place which was apparently in next doors garden behind plant pots What a joke!! They need shutting down.

Driver claimed he couldn’t find the house. Yet yodel amazon and Ocado found it ok on the same day. The online assistant is next to useless, sorry is useless. Mails get no response from what the describe as their ‘awesome’ staff. Appreciate it tough times but other delivery companies seem to be coping. Their CEO should be ashamed.

Parcel scanned at local depot but didn't get delivered. Courier admitted 100s of parcels go missing.....impossible to be missing if they have scanned it in their hands. Therefore if they have had parcel......criminal not to deliver. Theft is when someone keeps something that belongs to someone else, incompetence usually results in sacking....whichever? Meanwhile having seen video of 1000s of 'missing parcels' being auctioned is lunacy. Criminal action should be taken

Even before COVID-19 I did a lot of online shopping. Now that we are in lockdown we are all doing more and I understand that all couriers are busy but Hermes are by a long way the worst couriers I have ever experienced. Yet again yesterday I was home all day and listening for the doorbell but yet again the Hermes driver mysteriously had an issue with getting access to make the delivery. I really really wish businesses would not use Hermes to deliver their products.

They have lost every single product I have ordered. There's no one to talk to. Customer service is only online and it just redirects you to a robot. Items are left with the same status for weeks on the tracker.

Zero stars if it was an option, the worst company possible Zero stars if it was an option, terrible company, all you people giving a positive feedback you wouldn’t be if something went wrong and had to deal with Hermes lack of customer service! So if a driver goes away on holiday or has days off work, Hermes policy facilitates there self employed drivers to store parcels in their vans for anything up to several weeks that was collected on there last day of working! Even though they have to pass the depot! The only way to get them to solve a complaint is to drive to there depot and refuse to leave until it is sorted! Don’t bother emailing phoning this will just waste time and whilst you are doing this your parcel will be sold at a auction in the Birmingham area, don’t just take my word for it take joe lycett on channel 4 word for it! Awful company, pay a little extra and use a proper firm! If you use Hermes you will regret it guaranteed! I’ve had lots of problems in the past, I left it over five years and recently thought they can’t still mess up every parcel can they! Sure enough they did for me!

Over the last 6 months we have had nothing arrive from Hermes. We live at a business address it is 200+ years old and receives post and parcels from every other conceivable courier on a daily basis. Every time the Hermes tracking info is the same, it says “in transit” then Delay please wait 24 hours. Followed by “requested return to sender” The sellers obviously never make the request, but every time is the same. We then have to chase sellers for refunds unless of course they attempt with a different courier. It’s costing us vast amounts of time not getting products required to function, then more re sourcing elsewhere. Usually at Higher cost. There is no helpline, just auto response giving same info and asking to take a survey. The parcel shops can’t help, gave me their helpline number but fobbed off by operative saying only for shop terminal problems. Customer services never respond to email. Is anybody sue ring this and has anyone found a way round it other than no purchasing from merchants that use Hermes. No that all will disclose in advance.
