Just pray you don't encounter an issue as their customer service is the worst I have ever dealt with, and they will not take any accountability for any issue, so you can kiss goodbye to your parcel and payment if it gets lost in the system! The website just points you to a chat bot which can only tell you the tracking info you can already see on your account tracking page, and you then go on a loop to try and find more information or speak to a human, which you then discover there is no way of getting through to anyone. I eventually found a number 03308085456 and rang that and came across someone who was utterly useless and was clearly new to the job and kept pointing me back to the chatbot. He said he couldn't give me a refund until the parcel was delivered, but that was why I was ringing as there was clearly an issue as it was massively delayed, so I fear it's lost in the system. He also wouldn't give me an email address or address to make a formal complaint. And also said there was no manager available to make a complaint to. Instead he said I would have to use the chat bot and say I had experienced damage to my house or vehicle and then have to submit 2 pics before a complaint case is logged with their team!! Talk about making it impossible to complain about a core aspect of their service i.e. delivery!! Hence why I'm here.

We recently booked and paid for the collection of two items to be returned to the seller (Wednesday 9th Feb). This was booked to be collected on Thursday 10th Feb. Unfortunately the items were not collected on 10th Feb nor were they collected on 11th Feb. Upon returning to the office on Monday 14th Feb there was a message from Hermes explaining that the package was unsuitably packaged. We then contacted Hermes to get some sort of timeframe for the packages to be collected, explaining that the item is being returned in exactly the same packaging as it was received and unfortunately, the information provided was incorrect as the courier would not have been able to get into the building on a weekend, hence the reason we had booked it for a week day. After numerous emails back and forth (due to not actually being able to speak to someone via live chat or over the phone[all automated]) we were told that the collection had been re booked...to SATURDAY 19th Feb after us making it very clear that they would not be able to collect on a weekend. We replied explaining (again) that it would need to be a weekday, to which we received and email stating this case has been resolved and is now closed. The items, 3 weeks later, are still in the foyer of the office and we have had to start the conversation, via email, all over again. We have now lost the refund on the item and also have asked for a refund from Hermes for the postage cost. We have had no response. This is still ongoing, therefore (hoping that senior management review feedback) would like a call to discuss this - FUNDA - 01282 525200.

10 day delivery instead of 2. Then charged me £8.40 extra because of their stupid volume calculation method. Sure I should have studied the detail a little bit more but it is a stupid non intuitive system. I will never use them again and advise others not to as well.

On several occasions now Hermes have 'lost' my parcels in transit. This is so disappointing. Not the best courier companies to use

Hermes is the WORST mail courier ever. lost my parcel, found my parcel, delivering my parcel, not delivering my parcel, NO updates on the tracking and I had to check the original purchase only to find out theyve held it for 2 days because its "too big"???? IT'S A MEMORY STICK USB HOW BIG CAN IT BE????? Waited a week for an item that could've been delivered in a matter of 2 days just to be told I need to wait 48 hours because Paul thinks it's too big. boohoo for Paul. :( I've put off doing anything all day waiting for my parcel so I can finally begin and back up my college exams and now this... DISGUSTING. I hope I never come into such bad luck as having a parcel delivered by this disgrace of a company again. They keep saying ohh we're so sorry we know how stressful this is... okay so DO BETTER! Shady shady shady horrid company. Would rate 0 stars if I could

They don’t even attempt to deliver with 8+ people at home, they just send a stupid email claiming they’ve attempted which is an outright lie & it’s happened on MULTIPLE occasions. This company should close down.

Appalling customer service. Booked a collection for yesterday. Collection was confirmed, waited in all day and nothing. Not been an email telling me collection would be delayed. It’s now 4pm the following day and still nothing. You can’t speak to anyone as there is no tracking number until they pick it up. I’ve got four unanswered tweets and still nothing. They really don’t care about their customers. Avoid these aholes

Waiting for days for parcel stuck at sender's depot. . no movement on tracking for days. So refunded by seller . This is second parcel to be stolen ..whoops I ment misplaced in 2 months . . Useless company. Local courier is great though .

I was waiting for my delivery today from Hermes courier. Four packages. I’m a disabled person and I sit by my front room first floor window with the blinds open. Well what did I see. The Hermes courier throwing some parcels up the stairway of my neighbour some 12 steps . I thought that’s careless of him to treat peoples propertie like that. Then immediately he threw them back down into his wheelie basket. It clicked to me this wasn’t a delivery for my neighbour but for me . A minute later he rang my doorbell. When I answered the door I was really not happy about the way he handled my property. I explained to him that I had seen him throwing the packages about when he even got the address wrong the first time . He just looked at me like I was from another planet and said muttered in a whisper. I asked him if he needed a signature, which drew another blank . Not a word of English could he speak no thank you or anything. I even thanked for the delivery with no reply from him . Which really he didn’t deserve. I can understand people need work. I can understand poor English. But not a word is appalling service not to be able to say thank you . And the disrespectful way he handled my property it just makes him short of a Neanderthal. Just when I thought Hermes couldn’t possibly provide worse service. Yep they can !

A totally useless bunch of f wits I wouldn’t put this lot in charge of a good case of piles! 7 attempted delivery’s Even though instructions left as to where to leave the item . 3 times they even tried to deliver it to the wrong street. I never did get the item!!!!🤬

Damaged, thrown over walls, never delivered and delivered to houses over 10 miles away! Are just some of the ways Hermes “delivers” parcels. There customer service is non existent. The drivers just don’t care, probably because from what I’ve read Hermes is a horrible company to work for. Just use Royal Mail to deliver parcels if you want them to actually arrive.

My parcel was lost in December, was only partially refunded after a long hard struggle 2 months later. So I called customer services to complain, as on Hermes website it says “call our friendly customer services”. Customer services rep, Christine (ex 2602) was extremely rude, actually belched down the phone, laughed, talked over me then hung up on me. I obviously want to put in a very strong complaint, but to do this, I have to call belching Christine.
